Had a very good experience here, a friend had recommended that I go here for trading my old Yu-Gi-Oh cards in. I got a great deal and the owner was super nice. Has an awesome store full of comics and POPS all kinds of neat stuff, Definitely worth a look if your in the neighborhood.

Store was a little crowded and the cashier said most of their good stuff is currently at a comic con. They still had a nice selection, but it would have been fun to see more games and not just boxes of comics.

Decent comic shop. Helpful clerks. We were unfortunate to land there on a day when they were away at a convention. There best books were literally off the wall. Much in the way of modern books.

My favorite comic book store in Illinois. Amazing selection of items, including toys, board games, collectibles, and high end comics. Couldnt be happier with the staff either. They also run several conventions. Overall A+.

I went to a tournament event and was a bit ticked. The person running it was also playing in it, not a huge deal. But he and his friend that he hung out with most of the time both had first round byes and ended up in 1st and 2nd place. If you are an employee, you shouldnt get prizes.Overall a little small and I wish they had a policy requiring the customers who spend time there to shower.

Bill is very friendly and fun to talk to! He works with you on pricing and gives fair trade-in/cash values for cards. The selection is great and the store has a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Geek Inc Comics!!

Small, messy, and disorganized. I couldn’t even look at the back issues because stuff was piled on top of them. I was in the store looking (at everything I could get to, which wasn’t everything they had) for at least 10 minutes and the person working there never said anything to me until I came up to the register. The store wasn’t busy at the time.

We apparently picked a bad time to go, because the place was pretty empty, and we were told the backlog they normally had was at a convention with the owner. But the bigger problem was the air was stale and so full of dust I could not stop sneezing. The sole employee there was friendly but place was still so dusty and empty I just wanted to get out as fast as possible.

Stopped in with my young son and found the proprietor extremely friendly and helpful. The store was clean, well-lit, and well-organized for browsing. We enjoyed our first trip and will be coming back.

I have fun during the magic tournaments. They happen Wednesday and Friday evenings.Cool place.

Some stuff I saw there was over priced. One comic I saw there for $15 was still cover price when I went to other shops after. Only reason for the 4 star was they at least are nice and help the customer as they did when I asked about that comic and if they had it. They also cooked up some free hot dogs on free comic book day which my friends brother took one.

Really nice place tons of comics and they were willing to order specific items if we needed.

Not going to visit after bad experience. They had a sale after I purchased a hard cover book. I asked if they had a sale that day and they said no. An hour later they posted on Facebook that they had sales on their products. Odd they had a sale after I asked and left.

Gentleman at the desk is really friendly. They had about 50 long boxes or so of back stock (stuff older than a year), as well as the latest. Nice shop, although everything seemed to be fully priced (latest prices on stuff, so no real steals). Would go back.

Make sure you call them before wasting gas making a trip out there because they close when they want. Says they close at 7, get there, wall through the door at 520 and am told that they will be closing at 530.

Possibly the best comic shop owners around. Extremely friendly and work with everyone plus their comic knowledge is 2nd to none. Very fair on prices for buying and selling. An elite comic shop in my opinion

Ive been looking for a specific Spiderman comic book for my grandson for weeks. Every place I called didnt have it. Someone told me about Geek, so I stopped in and the owner had the book I was looking for and also showed me other Spiderman items I didnt even know about. If youre into comic books, youve got to go in to Geek Inc. Comics!!
