This was the best experience Ive ever had getting tires. I called up the store, they gave me a time to come in . On my arrival I was directed to a stall for trailers, was getting tires on my trailers by the way. They got me in early and out quickly. I give two thumbs up to discount tires 👍🏾 👍🏾

Very smooth experience. Made my appointment on the Discount tire website this morning for early afternoon. Check in at the desk upon arrival to the store. Associate check out my tires, provided me with measurements and recommendations on options for purchasing new tires. The technicians worked swiftly and professionally while removing my old tires and installing the new tires on my vehicle. I was finished and on my way in less than an hour.

I was at the facility yesterday and the staff was so nice and helpful! They got my new tires purchased and installed so quickly! The great attitudes and quick service was so wonderful!

Best Tire shop around Is professional clean and great service. You cant really beat the prices of discount tires. Plus most of their tires have insurance on them so if you get a nail bring it in they replace it for free. One more nice feature is the offer free air when your tires are low.

I genuinely think this place has great customer service and good prices. A week ago I went in to get a hole in my tire fixed. To my surprise, they offered to fix it for free! I was not expecting that and was very happy to hear I wouldn’t have to pay anything. And when it turned out that my tire was slashed and not able to be fixed, they loaned me a tire until I could come back and buy my own tire. Amazing! I went back to work the next day and told my coworkers how great of an experience I had.So today I went in to buy my new tire and was super early for my appointment. I took my phone and keys inside to check in. The man who helped me check in borrowed my keys to check which brand of tires I had. I gave him my keys and he went inside my car to get whatever information he needed. Then he came back and got me a discount on my tires. Turns out I needed two, but I was spending less than I thought I would. BUT when I went to my car to grab my wallet, I realized my car was unlocked! The guy who helped me didn’t lock my doors and I had my wallet sitting on my passenger seat. Not cool! I was very upset to see that had happened. I like to keep my doors locked whenever I’m not next to my car for obvious reasons.. That act alone removed 2 stars from the 5 stars I was gonna give. Leaving my car unlocked could have left me vulnerable to getting robbed from any other customer or person who happened by. That’s the last time, I give my keys to someone else.

Very organized check in process for Covid 19, while you wait in your car before you are instructed to drive it in the bay. You can then go inside or stand outside and wait. They never get in your car! Probably different if you are dropping the car off. Either way I recommend scheduling ahead for efficiency.

We have had both our cars at this location many times over the past decade or so. These guys are the best. We have had tires fixed and replaced. Today I brought my wife’s car in for a slow leak in one of her tire. Turns out it was a nail. They didn’t charge me which was crazy. I am glad they take tips. We will never go anywhere else.

The guys at this location and really friendly and helpful. They took good care of my care and made sure they torqued to spec the wheels and balanced them appropriately. Also I had aftermarket wheels and they were very cautious with they way the handled them.

I had an appointment for 10am and arrived a little early since I figured I had to wait. Soon as I came in I was greeted by Karl, who I spoke to the day before; the minute I told him my appointment time he remembered who I was. I also changed my mind about what I wanted because I couldn’t afford everything at one time. He found a better option which I greatly appreciate than what I wanted from browsing their website. I was able to replace all 4 tires and wheels, I highly recommend them!

They installed and sold my wife a complete set of YOKOHAMA tires.We got a defective tire, and Yokohama customer service told us to check with the dealership. After 6 months, and a second follow up with Yokohama, they highly recommended this Discount Tire for being in my area.They also apologized for the unprofessionalism and Toyota dealership mediocrity. They fully endorsed Discount Tire. Same day call, same day response and warranty check. Discount Tire are real pros, and they eclipse the mediocrity of Elgin Toyota.Customer service, support, follow up, customer care, and genuine professional demeanor is paramount in this location. I just had a blowout on the rear of my vehicle. The next morning I came in right when they opened up the store manager I think his name is Scott. The gentleman was so nice he helped me out knowing that I had a little bit more car damage to repair on the body of my vehicle and kept the price as Fair as possible. Im an auto mechanic Ive been working on cars for over 20 years and putting tires on vehicles of my own for over 20 years I never go anywhere else nor would I. I love Discount Tire! Ive bought 3 sets of tires there. I get free tire rotation. I can stop anytime to get air in my tires. Today i heard a noise in my tire. I had just left Woodmans & heard a tic tic tic sound. Got out of my Car & looked at my tires. One tire looked low. I was within minutes of Discount Tires. Decided to stop to have my tires checked. They were going to close in 1 hour but got me in as an emergency. My tire was so low that it didnt accept any air. Too dangerous to drive home. They got my Car in. Thank God it was just my rims that needed to be cleaned. It cost me absolutely zero plus I was back on the road safely. Excellent customer service! Thank you Discoung Tire. Air and tire check for no charge

Sales and scheduling were great. No problems there, but the actual service was dissapointing. My scheduled appt was on a Thurs at 5pm. I didnt get called into the bay until 550pm. Whats the point of an appt? Had they told me they were running behind, I would have gladly gone home and come back but they didnt. Overall, not a horrible experience, but not great either.

Brought my BMW X5 there a few times now and each time had excellent customer service. Scotty and his crew are professional and thorough. Highly recommend them, won’t go anywhere else!!

I had a very bad experience with a previous Discount Tire location(Elgin). So when it came time for a new set of rims I decided to try this one. PATRICK was patient, educated on tires/rims, and extremely helpful. He really blew me away with his customer service! Horrible service, my boyfriend and i went in to get 3 tires installed was told it will be 2 hours and it would be done at 2:30, 3 and a half hours pass by and the car hasn’t even been touched while other people who came in after us came in and out so when we finally say something they tell us they had other appointments and that it was going in right now yet they are the ones that told us that it would be done by 2:30 and when i asked how long it was going to be he said “25 minutes” so you’re telling me we have to wait 2 hours technically 3 for something that takes 25 minutes to do? absolute waste of time and money never going back here EVER again and definitely not recommending it to anyone i recommend staying away from here

Frustrating experiences. Appointments scheduled were often late. Often feel like they push upselling. Icing on the cake - Tried to drop off car early with employees in the store and was told I couldnt. Definitely wont be back.

I went to this place to check why my tired was leaking air but the tired wasn’t the issue it was my rim. So they told me it was the tired and it WASN’T. I came to a different place where they said my rim was cracked. So now I bought a whole tired for no reason. Never again!!! This place sucks and always trying to sell tires for not reason and a guy there is so rude.

Its only been a couple of weeks since I purchased my tires from Discount Tires, but I can say that they were efficient, pleasant to work with and reasonably priced. I will buy from them again. Their service, products, & pricing are all very good.

My experience was pretty good. I was able to make an appointment online, and my truck was serviced at my appointment time. No three hour waits. You can also purchase your tires online, and they will be available next day.I didnt give four stars because when I called to confirm they had my tire in stock the service rep told me there were 11 choices available in store. When I arrived, they didnt have my tire size. We were able to find something that worked out very well. The rep I worked with was very solutions oriented.

I got a flat tire over the weekend. My tires were only a year old and though it couldn’t be repaired they never tried to sell me something I didn’t need. They were helpful and fast (in and out in an hour) and even gave me warranty on my other 3 tires. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend them to friends.

Awful service! I asked them to rotate the tires and balance all 4 tires. The guy who helped me clearly mentioned it to me that it’s been added to your order and it will be done. When the car was ready I asked the guy who pulled the car out they if the balance and rotation was done the guy said no, he wasn’t told to do any of that stuff. Wasted my time and only fixed the flat tire. I have 10 cars with them and will never go to this particular location ever.

It used to be ok coming here to change tires but new workers are rude. The guy starts laughing after I tell him I only want less than the number of tires he recommends. Still cheap though.

On 11/25/19 husband and I have always had good luck with Discount Tire in Carpentersville although we were a little disappointed this time around. We purchased $900 set of tires for my car because I travel to work and back every day, an average if 60 miles. So, they told us these were good tires and that we were lucky because the Yokohama Tires had a rebate of 10% and if we put it on our Discount Tire Credit Card we would get another rebate of 5%. So, we took the paperwork and filed the rebate along with the information online. They denied our rebate because the rebate did not begin until 11/28/19. My husband and I are disappointed because we thought we would get some relief from the price of the tires. I wish the guys at the counter would learn to read as well as the guys in the service area install tires.

My family was traveling through Illinois to Minnesota when we noticed our tire warning. We pulled over after a toll and our tire was flat. My husband installed our spare while I searched Tire shops in the area. Discount Tire was the closest and theyhad good ratings. I called to see if they had time to get us in and Frank(?) Said yes. We drove straight there and they had us back on the road in no time. They were friendly and fast. Thank you for the great service. We will be a repeat customer.

What differentiates them is that they own it and make it right immediately! I wish they did more than tires so I could give other work on my cars.

I came in 10 minutes before they closed, thought I only needed 1 tire patched up but I knew that I also needed to get at least 2 replaced before the winter came. Karl Schmidt the Assistant Manager offered me such a great deal on all 4 brand new tires and offered to get them put on right then and there. The staff got me in and out. Usually I never go anywhere to get service so close to their closing but I drive expressway driving daily with my 3 year old so didnt have a choice. This store has been by far the best customer service experience Ive had in a very long time. Definitely recommend them to anyone that needs it!!

Absolutely amazing service! Went in to replace a bent rim. They were very courteous and didnt try to up sell me to a more expensive alloy rim since Im on a budget, so I just went with a steel rim. The lobby area is very nice and they even have complimentary coffee and bottled water. Service was very quick. No complaints.

I came in today very frustrated and in a hurry. These guys not only calmed me down but took care of my car faster than I could write this review. Buy your tires here and you will be well taken care of. I bought this set a year ago and the replacement tire was only 17.95! You cannot beat that!

The most curious group of people to go to for my tire service.

I just had a TERRIBLE experience with NTB moments ago, and I have been a customer with them for years. In a desperate search to replace my tire I came across discount tire. I gave them a call. The employee in on the phone was helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I have not been serviced yet, but Im already grateful for the great customer service that I have received thus far. I had a 9:30 apt. and the guy kept chiding me that it was supposed to be 9am - not a big deal to me but he wanted to argue about it and told me I lost my slot and would be a few more hours (punishment for their mistake) - I didnt care because I was dropping the car off to pick up later. Then he insisted I stayed at the shop and wait for all those hours but I had to get to work, I told him I would just go somewhere else and he backed down on that - went inside and he wanted to charge $160 just for a tire swap. I thought they were supposed to be around $100. After all of the rudeness and the customer is wrong attitude, I took my car and left. I found 3 other shops closer to me that would do the swap for under $100 and not give me a terrible attitude. Im not going back there to be treated like cr@p - there are many other shops out there and they shouldnt be called discount tire when they charge more than everyone else.

I had a small issue and was very concerned. I stopped by Discount Tire at lunch. The super friendly staff looked at my car, fixed my issue and got me safely back on the road within 15 minutes. Always pleased with the service at this location.

Discount Tire is the easiest and BEST place to go for tires! The employees there are so helpful, not pushy and so kind that it makes you want to go order pizzas for the shop! I stop by every couple of weeks for the air pressure in my tires to be checked- for FREE! Discount Tire is every woman’s or Senior Citizen’s best friend...that goes for ALL DT shops Nationwide!

Excellent second set of tires here soon a 3rd.Tony and Scott were great. This last time I brought in my car they were busy and still had my new tires mounted balanced and out the door within a short time. Bonus while waiting there were free donuts coffee and bottled water. So along with the free air anytime, pull up they air up. Free flat repairs and more.I will be coming here for my tire needs for sure.P.S. Disc Tire has gone downhill. I used to love the customer service and products from this store. But I have gone in there a few times now and the employees just chat behind the register while I waited. The first time, I waited 15 minutes and couldnt get helped. I went back, since I have had great experiences in the past, and the same thing happened. No customers in front of me, no one on the phone, FOUR employees, including Carlos and Scott, behind the counter all too busy to help.

Great prices. They have everything from super affordable to expensive. The best part about the place is that they will help you and not up-sell you. Been there several times for different vehicles.

When buying tires, their prices arent bad. The problem is that when you call ahead for maintenance they say well get you right in, then theyre slammed when you get there! They then tell you your car will be done in an hour and what they really mean is that they might start working on it in an hour. Your better off going elsewhere and getting your tires cheaper and then paying someone to rotate them when needed because youll blow half your day waiting on this place to do service.

Purchase a 2 sets of tires last year. Both purchase visits were great and just had my first nail and the Discount Tire team got me in and out very quickly. Great customer service and expertise. New long time customer!

The desk person was helpful &/knowledgeable.....but the blasting music from the work-bay area was excruciating LOUD. How the guys can even concentrate on the tire- business I dont know. However they found GREAT Continental tires (4) for my vehicle & installed them in GOOD time .It has IMPROVED the ride quality 100%> ....I RECOMMEND visiting Discount if U want it done right !!!

Ive had nothing but good experience(s) at this Discount Tire location. I am a long-time customer. In 2017 after online shopping for best price bought two full sets of tires for a Pilot and a Camry. Price was great. Both times I was a walk-in customer and was taken care of very fasssst. Ive been in for follow-up tire rotations and sometimes the wait was been a bit slow but all in all Id say the service here is outstanding.

Fantastic service! Came in to get a tire patched and hopefully not have to get new tires. Austin was very helpful and knowledgeable and they were able to patch the tire with no charge in under an hour!We are getting 4 new tires before winter and we will be doing business here again!
