Lennon helped us fix a terrible install of a Savant system for our hotel bar and lounge up in Solvang. We were ready to just rip everything out and start over but Lennon was confident he could replace and add a few pieces of equipment as well as order the correct televisions to get Savant working correctly. Super pleased to say he was right and we love it! Everything works perfectly and our staff has no problem controlling the TVs. This is an honest, intelligent, and motivated group and they deserve your business.

We lost our home in Montecito during the debris flow. Chris was phenomenal in helping us redesign and improve our home. We received multiple bids and I felt his was the most reasonable for the quality and recommendations he offered. The stereo system in the house and in the patio sound amazing. We have great wifi reception inside and outside of the house. Our property is covered with amazingly clear and easy to use security cameras that record 24/7. He set up our computer monitors in our office with the computer towers thirty feet away in the stereo rack in the closet to minimize the clutter. He also helped us transition away from expensive cable TV to streaming with our new TV’s without losing any of our favorite stations. His team was always prompt and pleasant to work with and surpassed all our expectations. I would highly recommend Chris and Central Coast AV.

VERY Unhappy Customer here. Central Coast AV / Ventura Smart Home installed a $34,000 AV system in my parents home under my supervision. This includes an over $6,000 Araknis internet system which they insisted upon instead of Google Wifi because they would use it to monitor, troubleshoot, and fix issues proactively and remotely. The system has been really shoddy and super slow for years and we thought it was because of our ISP. We just upgraded to gigabit ethernet, got it working well from the modem, but once we plugged the modem into the expensive Araknis system they recommended, were still getting speeds of 5mbps and it cuts in and out constantly.I reached out to Chris Wilson, who is an owner and did our original installation, a week ago, and got no response. I called multiple times and only got through once - a guy named Juan, who on Friday promised to set a site visit for Monday. I sent him an email with my information and thanked him. Today, he decided to instead reply and saying the following:I am sorry to inform you, but it appears that your system is no longer under any warranty. Additionally we can no longer service your system. I apologize for the inconvenience.Central Coast AV will convince you you need more than you do, overcharge you, and then ignore you if you ever experience issues or need service. Stay away or theyll take advantage of you too!

For the major repair of my mudslide damaged home I was lucky to have a detailed oriented construction project manager who insisted all sub-contractors be as obsessive about quality and timeliness as he is. He recommended Central Coast for our new A/V system. It turned out to be a great recommendation. I found that working with Lenny and his people was extremely easy throughout the process. They asked good questions and made sure I had a full understanding of what they were proposing. Now that we are back in our home the system works great. I have had A/V systems in the past that converge at a wall with lots of boxes and what seems like hundreds of wires. The unit they provide is attractive. Chris and Lennon did a great job with our back yard AV. We did a pop up TV lift with landscape audio that wraps around the pool. They also installed an easy to use surveillance system. Central Coast AV did a great job of reviewing my current system and up grading it from a 20 year old system to be able to utilize our cell phones to control sonos with the preexisting built in speakers.Their service and responsiveness is legendary. Absolute pleasure to work with, a very knowledgeable and conscientious staff.

We have a high-ceiling media room and the sound (especially dialogue)was muddy. We called Central Coast Audio Visual and they put in a 65 Samsung flat screen and right-left-center speakers and a subwoofer and we have the thickest TV room imaginable. They were true to their bid, on time, smart, pleasant. We give them our highest recommendation!
