One of the nicest pharmacists I have ever had to interact with. My daughter had to get 6 months worth of her meds as she was studying abroad for the semester. Bob was more than helpful. He talked with her and then me regarding the steps needed. When I called the plan to get it approved, there was some work I had to get Bob to do in order for it to clear. Called him back and he worked on it right a way to get it resolved quickly. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. None of the CVS pharmacists up in my area (MD) are ever this nice and helpful. Thanks!!

CVS in Carrboro, next to Harris Teeter is easy to get in, get out with friendly staff and a clean store.I never knew what CVS stood for, so I Googled it: Convenience, Value, Service. This store has all three!Open 7 days a week 7-midnight

They have two big signs that says Open until Midnight. At 10:30 pm they appear to be open but the door is locked. If you call the store number, it just rings and the hours on the phone says 7am until 10:30pm. If you’re going to close early, change the hours

Went online to schedule a flu shot. Showed up and they said they were all out. Said I could go to the cvs in the town over. I don’t understand why they couldn’t call me/email me to say there were no flu shots left before I showed up. Or save one for me since I went online to schedule an appointment.

They do a great job. Most CVS and for that matter most chain pharmacies Ive used in the past can be a real pain but these guys are really nice and they hustle to get things done! Keep up the great work

I think that my frustration probably has more to do with the system design vs. something specific and local to this store. I stood in line to pick up my prescription and they told me they are still working on it. So I’m waiting thinking they will let me know when it’s ready. But that’s not the case you have to go up and ask and check in frequently to see it’s ready. That’s such a pain. What’s terrible at this particular store is the customer service and the attitude. They aren’t nice and also don’t communicate the process clearly.I can see the benefit of using an online pharmacy not to have to deal with customers who make me unhappy especially when I’m not feeling well. I don’t think they are empathizing and realizing that picking up a prescription likely means people are sick at home and there are several things to do to at home to care for the sick family member so hanging out the cvs unnecessarily isn’t top of list.

I was so disappointed at the service I received today! I went in to exchange a moisturizer I had purchased for one from a different brand. Although I lost my receipt, I didnt think it would be a problem because they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee with or without a receipt. When I explained to the cashier that the moisturizer reacted badly with my skin and I wanted to get a new one from another brand (which was more expensive, by the way, so I would have been giving them more money), she was very rude about it and told me I could only exchange it for the same brand. She didnt even mention that I could have gotten a CVS money card as a refund instead, which I only discovered after checking their policy online, after the fact. She also told me if I wanted to exchange it for the other brand Id have to go back home, pull up my purchase history on the CVS website, print that out, and bring it back in! I never return cosmetic or skin care purchases that Ive used (even when I have a receipt) because I feel horrible about it, but after spending $15 dollars I wanted something that would work. Because this horrible cashier essentially made me feel bad about wanting a decent product, and acted like Id stolen it or something, I will not be returning to that CVS, which is a shame because its the closest one to my apartment. I had almost decided to abandon CVS totally except I decided to try one in Chapel Hill (off of 54) after checking their refund policy. The cashier there was extremely helpful and let me exchange it without a problem (he refunded it on a money card and used it towards the other moisturizer). But the one on Greensboro Street needs some serious customer service training because I would not call my experience 100% satisfaction guaranteed.

Im a retired Pharmacist and Ive been going to this Carrboro, NC location for about 3 years now. Ive never had any problems with the Management or Staff. They have always been polite, understanding and professional. They take care of their waiting customers much faster than the wait at other Pharmacies, just as I did in my Pharmacy. They exceed all expectations of a large chain pharmacy and I dont mind driving more than 40 minutes, passing many other Pharmacies along the way, to do business at this location. Keep up the good work.

I LOVE this location. The pharmacists are friendly and bend over backwards to get my prescriptions filled ASAP. The cashiers remind me of the kind of folks you get to know behind the counter of your favorite small-town store. Most of the employees there knew my name by second year as a customer.

It is a pretty typical CVS. The store is open till midnight which is nice for odds and ends. The staff is nice enough. Despite its very posh location it has sort of an inner city vibe which is odd considering there is a Harris Teeter and kitschy Carr Mill shops right beside it.

Always a terrible time getting meds filled here. They constantly tell me theyre waiting Dr authorization despite it being insurance authorization. Then always a hell of a long wait to simply pay out of pocket. I literally come in here every month and have to tell them how to do their job. Im switching pharmacies after sitting in here four hours tonight on a simple refill my doctor called in earlier in the day.

Literally the worst experience Ive ever had at a pharmacy. I went to go pick up a prescription, after receiving a text that it was ready, and Ive been waiting for 40 minutes to get it because they screwed up the price. How does it take nearly an hr to correct a price on a prescription that is ALREADY filled?! GO TO WALGREENS!!!

Fastest RX service Ive seen in 54 years of using pharmacies. The store is fantastically managed and the pharmacys service is unparalleled even in CVS pharmacies. Most pharmacies state I can get it ready for you in 2 hrs which turns into 4 hrs, Carrboro-CVS says 1/2 hr but then have them ready in 10-15 min. THANKS

Customer service has been terrible every time Ive gone and one woman was particularly rude. When I complained to the manager nothing changed and the woman still acted like she hated people. Also half the time the things Im looking for arent there because they dont stock well. Also, they dont have all the things advertised in the weekly ad. I felt uncomfortable and dissatisfied when I shopped there and I went often since it is close to my house. Finally, I realized that I shouldnt be having that experience and never went again. Ive been going to the one on Franklin and they are always accommodating and courteous. Plus they have a much better selection!

The pharmacy is great but the rest of the store is terrible. In particular, the staff are rude and unhelpful. The duo that often works nights are the absolute worst, especially the guy. Hes about the worst employee Ive ever encountered in any store, period. Rude, sarcastic, dismissive, unhelpful, and lazy. Most recently, he mocked me for bringing a reusable bag. Terrible attitude. His coworker is just lazy and slow and likes to complain. I go for the pharmacy, but try to avoid having to interact with the front store staff.

Go to any other Pharmacy. I had recently moved to CH and have gone to this CVS b/c it is closest to my house. However, I have yet to go in there and have everything go right, in fact it is usually 80% wrong. They never seem to have my prescriptions filled correctly and when you inquire by phone (they dont answer, just leave you on hold until you give up or the one time they did answer they hung up on me after I told them I got the wrong med- the person actually said Ugh, I dont have time for this and hung up) or you can inquire by person and get shuffled around because nobody knows the answer or doesnt want to take responsibility for the mistake. They have gone so far as to call my Dr. to get a new Rx when their computer system (so they say) used all my refills- they couldnt adjust on their own, so to my Dr. it appears that I have refilled my Rx and used a 3 month supply in 3 weeks- thank goodness it is just a thyroid med so it doesnt raise any red flags- but if I had been a patient with a pain killer drug or something of the sort, this would have posed a real problem (also side note- where did those pills go that were accounted for in my refills- dont they have extra- isnt there any inventory surplus? Who knows? but they dont seem to care). I keep trying to give them another chance or hope for the best and go in with extreme patience. Most of the staff members are nice (although I hate to say it, seem incompetent) and seem to be overwhelmed because it is a busy store, there have been two people there that are outright rude and so discontent in their jobs that they give no regard to good customer service. Save your time, your frustration and your sanity- choose another pharmacy.

CVS is basically like any other chain pharmacy, which is to say: meh. Im actually only writing a review to point out how silly it is that all these people have written reviews of a chain pharmacy.Like, does anyone read reviews of a CVS to learn about what the CVS is like? If you dont know what a CVS or Walgreens is like by this point, I dont know what else to say to you.

CVS tried to charge me $297 for 30 pills of a drug that I can get at Kroger for $59 (actually, $12.95 with an online coupon, which isnt available for CVS). I am shocked and appalled that they tried to charge me such an exorbitant fee. I had noticed that other medications I got from the pharmacy were priced high as well. But $297 for a medication my doctor told me I need is inexcusable. (I also have waited on hold for 25 minutes before attempting to reach the pharmacist with a question.)
