This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Dallas, clean and filling food, lively environment with superb hostess and excellent servers. The breakfast here warms every part of my body in the morning. I have a feast with anything i order. I personally think there sandwiches are to die for if you’ve ever been to New York or never been to New York it’s a comparable sandwich from the serving size and price. Will be back. Only tried this location, can’t wait to experience others.
For years Ive seen Cindis around town but never bothered to try it out only because I tend to stay away from chains and gravitate towards more mom n pops, especially for breakfast. But this is an exception. I was thoroughly impressed with the presentation of the food and it was absolutely delicious. My avocado, cheese and tomato omlette came out looking beautifully curated. The coffee was on the stronger side (which I liked) and the atmosphere was like that of a diner (cozy). Our server took good care of us and he had a great sense of humor to boot. The portions are pretty big which made it difficult for us to kill the extra dish (pecan waffles) that we ordered. I would most likely come here again for 3 reasons: price point, prompt service, and portions.
Amazing food. The Reubens, strawberry cheesecake, and key lime pie are all so good. Making my way through their menu, have yet to be disappointed.Service is fast, friendly, attentive.Just heard they had to close one of the location during pandemic. Will need to come here more often to support them then.
From my experience it seems like an ok place, i ate a waffle which tasted like it was made with cupcake mix but the blueberry compote that came with it was really good, the hash brown was pretty good as well and the iced latte was good too but it was a little strong so if you dont like strong coffee it might not be for you. I give it 4 stars because the waffle i ate which i love waffles and have ate from different places but this one was the worse waffle Ive ever had by far.
Second visit to Dallas this month, second trip to Cindi’s. Very good breakfast and definitely enough for a doggy bag. Nice selection of bagels to take home.
Had such high hopes for this place, but was left utterly disappointed. Our waitstaff was inattentive, got our order wrong, and rushed us during our order. The eggs benedict was terrible. It was drenched in a thick hollandaise that was flavorless. The homestyle potatoes were also terrible and way over salted. The only thing we liked from our order was the latkes. Those were decent.Dont fall for the good reviews and go elsewhere for breakfast.
Went for fathers day and was Incredibly disappointed. We waited over 30 minutes to get our food after ordering it and my mothers entrée didnt even arrive at the table, It had to be re-ordered. Not to mention my wifes Chicken fried steak had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp because the gravy had turned to jelly. I think they delivered my mothers food to the wrong table and just left the rest of the order to die in the window as they tried to figure out what to do. But I can forgive things not going well on a busy morning. What really earns the 2 star review is the biscuits and gravy that my wife was really excited about turned out to be rolls and gravy. How you think Rolls and Biscuits are the same thing is BEYOND me.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the whole DFW metroplex! Amazing food with whatever you get! Brings me back to my childhood living in the North and being brought up with people who were from old countries. Homemade food. Recipes brought down generation to generation. Just absolutely amazing! The only place I can find latkes! Lol! Best Ruben sandwich in town!!!!! Pastries and cookies and pies!!! Oh my! Just so wonderful 🥰♥️🥰
Been going to Cindis since the 1970s. This is a great restaurant, huge selection of breakfast dishes, plus the deli stuff is really awesome. Today i had the BEST RUEBEN SANDWICH i have ever eaten. Be sure to take home some bagels, cream cheese, and lox, or their breads, pastries and desserts. They definitely deserve all the great reviews and accolades. GREAT PLACE!!!
Great service, excellent good. Varied breakfast menu. My favorite is the lox and bagel. Yummy! Dont forget to take summer off their bagels home with you!
Wonderful place...fantastic soups and sandwiches, serves breakfast all day...is a Jewish deli and the breads and desserts put you in a coma they are THAT DARN GOOD!!!A MUST PLACE TO EAT!!! Our waiter was awesome and his friendly personality was refreshing.....get there SOON!!!
Cant find enough positive things to say about Cindis! The food is fresh made with love in every bite. The cheesecake is a must have, anything else that identifies as cheesecake is a lie.
My favorite restaurant in the whole wide world. Every since my Grandma Lilly introduced me to those lemon butter crepes, Ive been in love with this place. Now, every time I go and enjoy a plate of three, I think about my Grandma and feel her next to me, hopefully enjoying her own.
Delicious went to pick up Togo and they work fast thank you
One of the greats. Delicious food, great service, authentic NY deli taste right off 75. Love this place!
The food and service are great. You have to visit their amazing bakery when you visit! Their desserts are exceptional!
Always good choices. Great sandwiches. I like the chopped liver and usually take some home for later. Great bagel and pastry selection. People are nice here too. I would go back.
I went to the location across from the Amtrak Station. The food was delicious! I had dine in. Social distancing was practiced with the seating arrangements. Except closer to lunch times. Groups are allowed inside although the number of dine in patrons with groups should be limited. On that day two groups of four to six people were seated with patrons already dining inside. Covid is still surging. Overall the staff was prompt & courteous. The food was good for the price. Covid hours are 7am-2pm. Avoid the lunch rush which starts around 11:30am.
Good food. Good family friendly atmosphere.
Absolute nostalgia coming here. Best place I ever found by accident. Their matzah ball soup is the best! Everything here is excellent!
This deli is like stepping into a time machine back when I was working on the road. I was back in New York fixing to get a sandwich for lunch, cup of matzo ball soup, only difference was the absence of the man yelling, Stay Or Go!. What a wonderful flashback, and the food was great too! The cheesecake behind the counter display made my mouth water, I asked who they got their cake from? They bake it themselves!!! BRAVO.
Coffee, migas, bagels, packages, breakfast all day, or get tradition deli foods or honestly foods, and bakery. Coffee o is good not overly strong or weak. Cant go wrong with this New York style Dallas classic. Tables are well spaced out, everyone is well masked feels very covid safe. Menu attached if you order midas add chorizo!
Busy diner, the wait for us was about ten minutes. I think prices are reasonable. We drove about forty five minutes to Cindis and wouldnt do it again.
Great food, mainly great experience. Didnt dig the first waitress who after approaching the table briefly to leave a menu & disappear, ignored me, never offered water, etc. Second waitress was awesome.
So happy to visit Cindis again after COVID quarantine! Theyve always been wonderful, both the food and employees. I ordered off the breakfast menu for dinner and everything was perfect. Will be returning soon for one of their delicious deli sandwiches!
Always do goos and fresh. Love the bakery goods. Especially anything cherry!
It was a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the crepes that I had were amazing!
Always consistently good food. Breakfast anytime there. Something for everyone anytime.
THE BEST DELI EXPERIENCE EVER !!! I LOVE IT...THE #7 AND THAT HALF SOUR PICKLE 🥒
Love their breakfast. The chorizo and eggs is the best!
Staff is always so nice! Service is fast and the food is great!
This place is as good as ever. It was originally called Phils, but was taken over and run very well by a Vietnamese family who bought it when Phil retired. The only real problem I have is that they dont have adequate parking. The marked spaces are too narrow and there arent enough of them. Theres a nice vacant lot adjacent, but they arent willing to buy the land to expand their parking space. By the way, this outlet has the best menu. Their other locations dont always carry all the things this one does.
Awesome. I miss this place. I use to come here all the time when I lived in North Dallas. Now I live in Fort Worth and so this was a visit long overdue. Food and the atmosphere was excellent as always. The staff wore masks. I had a great time and remembered how much I like this place. Rating: A+.
The food was fantastic!!! They waited on us with in 5minutes!!! Our waitress acted professional at all times!!! I will give my experience a 99 out 100
Classic old school diner with great food! They also have a deli and a bakery that makes the best pastries in Dallas!!!😉😋😋😋😋
Always love my # 4 deli sandwich. Good matzoh ball soup.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the beef and cheddar melt and my husband ordered the chicken melt. We both got the sweet potato fries as a side. Really delicious food! Fries were crispy, sandwiches toasted to perfection and fresh. Highly recommend. Their menu has a wide variety of options.
We went here for breakfast on a Sunday and only had to wait about 20 minutes which I dont think is long at all for a Sunday morning! I had an egg breakfast that included hash browns, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. So delicious! We waited barely any time for our food to come out. I also got a huge cinnamon roll to go, and it was amazing! So fresh. I took a look through their bakery and deli, and I will definitely be back to try more of their pastries!
Great food, friendly wait staff. We had abt a 15 min wait for brunch at 1pm on a Saturday bc they take table spacing for Covid very seriously, which I appreciate. The food is great, and everyone enjoyed what they had. The only kosher option is their hotdog unfortunately. Odd for a NY style deli. Def will be back to try other pancake flavors
This review is purely for the Apple Streudel. If I could give it 0 stars I would. They should be embarrassed to try and pass that off as a Streudel. Save your money and do not order.
Loved Cindis. Most of us got the Reuben, which was delicious. Key lime pie and cheesecake were also wonderful.
Amazing breakfast with good friends while in town.Fast and quick service with excellent pricing and food. Had a small 10 minute wait.
Great place to eat. Cornbeef sandwich was so tasty.
Cindy got great pancakes that a great place to eat I will tell all of my friends
Cindis omelet, hash browns (extra crisp), garlic bagel. Great!
Seated quickly for lunch food was pretty good fries were solid with the burger tomatoes were fresh, pickles were really weird, service was subpar but not bad by any means
The staff was great unfortunately the Philadelphia steak sandwich wasn’t. Way to many peppers on it that overpowered the taste of everything and the bread was soggy and fell apart. Not what I expected for the price.
WOW! Fresh diner food is rare. This was FRESH. And surprisingly delicious. Their NYC style Jewish foods were superb. Matzoh ball soup is perfect. The stuffed cabbage was absolutely delicious and tasted like grandma made it. Knish was great. The black and white cookie was delicious. Very reasonably priced. 100% recommended and will return.
Potato latkes were Devine! Egg salad sandwich was perfect on a Kaiser roll! Enjoyed their chicken noodle soup as well.
Great place to eat. Very consistent food.
Cindis is always great. Well, I can only speak to the sandwiches and the patisserie. Some day, I might get breakfast. Dont miss the potato salad. It is one of my favorites
If I could give zero stars I would. They do not honor the prices they have on the uber app. Yes you do have control over your add on the app.False advertisibg.
Food was good, service was quick and helpful, atmosphere was old school NY diner.
This place was cool. Great staff and the food was awesome.
What an amazing place. Warm and cozy. I had corned beef hash and eggs any style. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Service was outstanding. Food is delicious.
Everything I have had here has been the best. Be for leaving I like to get a danish to go .
Delicious breakfast. Blueberry pancakes, perfectly done. They have authentic NY style bagels. Whoa
Great deli sandwiches. Fast, friendly service.
I LOVE their breakfast 🤤 i always order cheese blintz’ (good ones are hard to find) and if you have a liking for pastries definitely pick some up! They’re always so fresh- one of my favorites is their cheese danish! It’s delicious!
Great food, big crowds and long wait on weekends but its great food so we wont hold that against them. Nice staff, attentive.
Chocolate mousse was everything for my wife here! Good service!
I love the one in Addison. They have great sandwiches.
Have wonderful memories going to Cindis with my family for breakfast.
I always loved the corn beef, pastrami, tongue combo sandwich!! The best!
I love going to Cindis! The food has never disappointed, the staff is aways so kind and generous. This is our favorite spot to enjoy breakfast! They also have the best pies around!
The food was ok, we had a great time there with family and friends, server was great! But I bought bagels to go, and they asked me TWICE, what type I wanted, I said 4 blueberry, 2 egg, and 2 cinnamon, then they said 4 egg and two blueberry? I said no 4 blueberry and 2 egg. Well I get home, and only 2 BLUEBERRY 4 egg!! Grrrr the universe is cruel sometimes!
Food was super flavorful. Next time Ill be back with my friends. Prices were appropriate. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.
