I went in completely newbie at make up, not only the products are amazing the store owner was so helpful! If I had any questions she was there to help me, give suggestions and made sure that the makeup I was buying matched my skin tone and skin condition! It was okay, I would rather go online and buy than come into the store. A lot of their cushion foundations for testing were dried up or have been oxidized, and therefore I could not get a good idea on coverage or shade. Customer service was okay - it was more of buy and get out rather than letting me take my time to browse.

The older lady here is always so knowledgeable about the products here and makeup in general, and is extremely kind and warm. Ive never once felt uncomfortable in this shop, and she even throws in a few free goodies and samples whenever I purchase something (though I never expect it, considering it must be expensive to ship in all of the products here from Korea and even 1 free sample is plenty)Also, the prices here are insane in a good way. Theyre about the same price as you can find online, and theres even a bunch of products that are near impossible to find on the internet without having to order from some sketchy site.Im not sure why the other reviews complain about the lady (who I assume to be the owner of the shop) so much and describe her as so rude and unfriendly. Ive never been nor seen other people be treated unpleasantly at this store, and the lady is always friendly and eager to help to everyone. Whenever I come, she tells me to test and look at the merchandise freely and always explains the product in detail when I have an inquiry about a product.

Tony Moly is great, but a whole store of Tony Moly is AMAZING! I can’t come here very often because I just want to buy everything they have. However, they do have some products that I’m unable to find at a typical beauty store that sells their products, so it’s nice to stop in every once in a while to get those as well as some of my favourites.

Very friendly and helpful staff. If youre not sure what you need but know what you want it to do, dont be afraid to ask for help. The staff is knowledgeable and more than happy to help you find exactly what you want or need.

The workers are so nice and generous here! I’m with UTA Korean Culture Association and they were really instrumental in making a successful KBeauty Day event for us this year. We love them and hope to continue working with them. The sheet masks are quality, I like buying the tools here, and I’m addicted to the mango sunblock!!! Must buy!

I bought Tony Moly products last weekend and I was satisfied. The staff there was really kind and helpful. She explained the detailed information about the Green Tea series toner and lotion and I finally got them.

Let me start off by saying, I’ve driven 2 hours away just to shop at this store. I’ve visited this store twice now and had a great experience each time. I was looking at the bunny bars they had (which smell AMAZING by the way), and an associate, a young woman that looked to be in her 20’s, directed me to the testers that were placed at the front of the store so I could smell them. I tested quite a few things in the store and no one lashed out at me. No, I’m not Korean or speak Korean so no “special treatment” from them. The owner of the store checked me out and gave me some free samples. She even asked what skin type I had before picking out samples for me. Then she explained in detail how you use the samples. Both ladies in the store were very informative and helpful. Must be an improvement.

I love this store! All of the products I have used, skin care and makeup, have been fantastic. Plus, all of the product packaging is adorable. I want to buy everything just because its all so cute! My favorite sales associate is the little old lady. Shes so sweet and helpful! She answered all my questions about skin care or make up and lets me try everything. She also cleaned the makeup swatches off my hand for me. A+ customer service!

3/23/19 UPDATE: I just went in to purchase MORE items from here, bc Im in love with the banana face wash and I was going to get lip tint. The older lady running the store tells me I cant look around with my coffee. Fine, Ill put my coffee in your silly table so I can look around. It was silly, as I am an adult woman, not a child, but I followed her request.As I am trying a concealer on my hand, she comes and says in Korean, dont try the product unless Im planning on purchasing it. Why would you put sample/trial items out if you dont want customers to use them?!As a Korean female shopping for Korean makeup products, Ive never been so rudely treated by a Korean sales rep.Ill be buying my Tony Moly products online.The items here are super cute but overpriced compared to prices you can get online. The staff doesnt ever offer any assistance, so youll have to go ask them for help if you have any questions or need advice.

Older Korean lady running the store was very rude. Wouldnt let you look at products without following you and watching. If you picked up a product you got a dirty look. I Was kind enough to ask if I could hold a product and she snatched it away only to explain what was on the product in Korean to the girl translating. Wont be coming back. And they didnt give any free complimentary samples.

I ordered some Tony Moly products online but they wont be here for a while, so I was pleased to discover a local store! The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable.They approached a few times but I never felt followed, though its a smallish shop so maybe some shoppers prefer more space. I was appreciative of being checked on since many products only have brief English and I wanted to understand the differences in the skincare options I was helped by two women (one was older) with a personalized skincare approach and given tips for application. I would definitely go back and now Im looking forward to getting the rest of my items in the mail.

I stopped in here after seeing good reviews of Tony Moly products on Amazon. The lady working was extremely helpful and very eager to share her product knowledge. All questions about products I had, she answered and even thoroughly explained how to use every thing, since I dont speak Korean. Every item in the store was a better price than Amazon and I loved everything I bought. I definitely recommend! I never felt followed, only that the lady working was very eager to please.

I stopped by to get an eye liner with my husband and my 4yr old kid. The old korean lady kept following me around, which made me really uncomfortable. She said if I need anything I should get hurry since they are closing at 5pm today, it was 4pm when I was there. I felt like she wanted me to leave if not buying anything. She also said my kid should not running around when my kid was just walking silently without touching anything, and my husband was also watching him making sure hes no trouble. I only stayed there for 5minutes without purchasing anything because of her rude attitude toward me.

Ive had the best experience here, the people are so helpful! I found exactly what I needed and the staff did their best to help me find products that would work well on my face. I am extremely satisfied with every product I bought and will be sure to come here anytime I need more.

The staff was one of the most terrible people Ive ever met. She was an old lady. When I first get into the store, the woman glared at me without saying hi or something. I looked around the store because I wanted to buy some skin lotion and my sister was looking at the foundations trying samples (It had a sticker that says try me). The old lady suddenly came to us and said that we were not allowed to try sample. But why? Samples are there for customers to try if the products are what they want. I cannot understand why this old lady was being so rude to us and other customers. I will go to this place never again.

The Chok Chok Green Tea face mask is amazing and so moisturizing. It left my face feeling great. Tony Moly always has amazing products. I’d like to thank KCA @ UTA for offering the free samples at their Beauty Day.

Dont waste your time here. If you want Tony Moly products, buy it from Amazon or online retailers. The woman who owns this store is by far, the rudest person i have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. I was minding my own business, trying on makeup testers. I have sensitive skin so I like to patch test before I buy the product. I only opened two testers while I was in the store but this woman walks up to me and stares at me intently. Feeling uncomfortable, I told her that I didnt need any help, but thank you. She said okay but continued to stare me down and follow me. I was looking at another product but she comes at me and snatches the product out of my hand and said that my face is too dry for this. If she offered constructive criticism and said Your face is on the dry side, so I recommend these products. But instead, she just snatched them from my hands and continued to stare me down. I was here with my sister who was visiting and the old woman told her worker in Korean Watch them, theyre going to steal and they keep on touching everything making everything dirty. I dont understand how youre going to be in business anymore with that type of attitude. As a Korean woman whos super in skincare, I will not be shopping here anymore.

I went the other day and the lady made me feel uncomfortable. She kept following me and my mom around and watching me intently as I was testing stuff and she didnt smile at me when she talked. All together she gave me some pretty negative vibes like she was judging me. Not only that, but they ran out of a hand cream tester so I asked if they could put out a new one and she just ignored me and didnt do anything about it. The products are great, but the service was not really pleasing.

Went into the store to show a friend their products.The staff is horrible. Follow you around to yell at you to not open products. You couldnt even reach for something without them complaining. Not a good atmosphere and horrible customer service.

This is a small store with only Tony Moly products which I havent tried before. But I found really good products with the things I look for, Ceramides, Niacinamides, vitamins, stem cells. They know what they are doing! Brought my 85 year old mom and she found things too. The young salesperson was very nice, informative, and so helpful. And we got samples to take home which who doesnt love that. We will be back.

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. My friend and I were planning to buy face masks but also wanted to check out the rest of the store. The old Korean lady that works there kept following us and didn’t let us use the testers. She ran straight to my friend and grabbed the face mist tester that we were LOOKING at. We didn’t even spray it! We walked over to the other side of the store to look at the eye makeup selection and the lady was following us AGAIN. She interrupted our conversation and asked us if we were “done checking up” numerous times. We couldn’t understand her because we obviously weren’t waiting at the cashier line. After a couple seconds of silence, she said “ok, leave” and swatted us away. My friend and I weren’t even in there for 5 minutes and we got kicked out. How ridiculous is that? If you’re going to shop here, beware of the old lady! She doesn’t like it if you stand around — not even for a minute. Honestly, you can buy these items on Amazon or Yesstyle for a cheaper price.A word of advice to the old lady: if you want to sell your products, you need to chill and NOT kick out your customers.

I frequent this store and I love it!! I see a lot of comments about the staff discriminating and although I’m sorry that those instances took place, I can’t say I’ve been treated that way. I am a young black woman and I have only been treated like a customer instead of a problem. I have not been followed, only approached a couple of times because I tend to wander aimlessly in stores and the women simply just asked what I was looking for (although I honestly didn’t know, I was just looking at everything!) I like Tony Moly because they aren’t trying to rip you off with their kbeauty (like Sephora) and they actually are knowledgeable about products. They seem to want to help you find something for your skin. My first visit I was immediately asked my age, skin type, whether or not I had texture issues, and what I was trying to achieve with skincare. I was given a few samples afterwards and so has my boyfriend even though he never buys anything there for himself.EDIT: Someone earlier claimed that all of their products are expired and I’m not sure how true that is but I checked my products and they were made in September 2017.... I got my set February 2018, so yeah... not expired!!!

Honestly, I really love Tonymoly products - whats not to like? Its cute, smells good, and it works. BUT what I hated the most was the people that work here. I think theres one owner who seems to be in her mid to late-40s and shes surly and rude. Shes only nice to Koreans but thats only because they can understand her and talk trash about the store to other Koreans (the target demographic). Anyways, I buy from the store a lot - however, I wont be buying anymore. I went into the store with my brother and were both Korean-American so we spoke to each other in English. I was testing out some products and talked to my brother about it, but then the old woman (in Korean) told her sales associate Hey, watch these people - theyre probably going to steal. You gotta keep an eye on them. She then asked me Can I help you? in English while tailing me. I replied back to her in Korean and said No thank you and BOY WAS SHE SHOCKED. She didnt even say sorry though and just said that she thought I was going to steal because theres a lot of shoplifters. Doesnt mean that she can be rude to me. And it wasnt even this time around, every single time that I visit the store, she tails every single customer and makes them feel ridiculously uncomfortable. By the way, ajumma, if youre reading this, work on your customer service. Maybe then people will buy stuff from your store.

I went to this store recently with my aunt and the owner was incredibly rude. I was looking around the store and trying a few testers when she approached me and accused me of opening one of her products. I wasnt even in the same area that she got that product from. There was another Korean woman who was in that area and they started speaking Korean to each other while glaring at me. I was pretty upset and annoyed at that time. Also, you can buy this brand a lot cheaper on Amazon or any other Korean beauty websites.

I was planning on just buying a hand lotion before I got in the store. The staff is super helpful, it was Christmas around that time so the staff decide to gift wrap mine, and it is so cute! So I decide to get more handlotions as Christmas presents. Definetly recommend this place!

Then why do they even have testers for if they don’t want them to be open and be cheap...I couldn’t even translate that to my friend so I just took her out of there. Shame shame shame!!!!

Went to this store recently with my friends around 8:30pm on a weekday. I was with my gay friend (who is a fan of makeup) and while we were browsing, the store lady (age around 50s) came up to him and told him to not touch anything and just get out of the store because all the products are for women. This shocked all of us, the way she said it was very offensive and it was such a homophobic thing to say. We all went out and just not buy anything. I mean, what if a guy wants to buy something for his friend or his girlfriend? Is he going to get kicked out the way this ajhumma did to my friend? What a terrible store.

I love TonyMoly products, so Im glad I found a store near in the DFW area! I used to feel a bit odd that we were kind of followed around the store, but, after spending a few months in Seoul, I realized that it is pretty normal in beauty stores in Korea (which is probably why the do the same here). Staff was very helpful and always asked if I had any questions. As for products, I have never been disappointed with any TonyMoly stuff. Absolutely looooove their face masks!! My skin always feels amazing after using them. I also love the hand lotions (they are super cute and smell amazing). If you are in the area, the store is definitely worth checking out^^

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. What a horrible experience I had this weekend. Let me start off by saying, Ive been here several times and use many of their products daily, but after my experience this weekend, I will never be going back and have been spreading the word about my encounter ever since.I went into the store this past weekend on my way to a birthday party to get a gift for a friend. I brought my infant son in with me in his stroller and the woman working there immediately asked his name, etc. I told her and then she awkwardly followed me and touched him on the feet on occasion. I brushed it off...maybe she just didnt get that this was an invasion - no harm, no foul. Well, evidently this woman has no common sense or personal boundaries. As I was checking out (spent about $70), she starts speaking to the guy checking me out in Korean. Then the guy tells me that babies get hot in their car seats and I need to pick him up so he can cool off. Uhm, thanks guy I dont know whos obviously not a father...I dont need your parenting advice is what Im thinking at first. Then, this woman starts touching my son and lifting up his arms and legs and reaching underneath him...and it occurs to me that shes looking to see if Ive stashed any stolen products on my infant son!!!! I pulled his stroller closer to me, by this point shes convinced that Ive not stolen anything and goes to the other side of the store. I finish up with paying and rush out of there, totally creeped out.I get to the car, load up my son, and make sure hes not hurt anywhere. Then, I called the store and reamed the guy out for 15 minutes about how that was completely unacceptable and tantamount to assault, harassment, and a violation of personal space, as well violating all sorts of laws as a business. If he had suspected me of shoplifting (after seeing that I was dressed nice to go to a party and had just spent $70), he should have ASKED for me to lift my son up and never should they have ever touched him, his stroller, or been in his personal space without my permission.He proceeds to tell me that the woman is his mother and she just came from Korea and didnt understand...and that hes a medical student and that she was checking my son because she was concerned he was too hot in his car seat. We walked straight from the car into the store and he was wearing shorts - he was not even warm. Ironically, my husband is a physician, and sir, when you read this and choose to tell that lie again, know that there are far more general and important things taught in medical school than car seats. It is not your job or your mothers job to vent my son, as you said. The very thought of him lying makes my blood boil. Speaking of lies, he also told me that just because the product has a date on it, its not an expiration date, its a manufacturer date...after reading the other reviews, Im livid that this little punk lied to me again. If it truly was a manufacturer date, then half of the 10 products I bought were manufactured in the future.My husband and I looked my son over and have been looking for bruising, etc. If there is even a hint of a bruise that appears on his chest, back, or legs from her jerking him around, I will take photos and document it and we will be pressing criminal charges. That treatment was completely unacceptable and unwarranted. Again, Im not sure if these two are just dim and clueless or if they were not trained properly. You do not ever touch someone elses child without their permission and if you truly suspect a paying customer of trying to smuggle something on their child, you politely say I know this is probably not the case with you, but weve had issues with theft in the past and if you dont mind lifting your son out of his car seat, so we can check. Its store policy. I cant imagine that anyone who is not guilty would choose not to oblige. And if they dont and you really feel like theyre stealing cheap makeup from you, then you call the authorities. You have no right to touch them.
