Basically a Japanese dollar store. Its a great location if you know what to get there- their dinnerware, stationary, and other household goods are priced extremely well. However, some of their drinks and snacks are a bit on the expensive side. If youre looking for snacks, go to one of the nearby markets. If youre looking for affordable Japanese household goods, youre in the right place.
This place is great! Loved it here! They had very cute plushies, onigiri molds, house materials, etc. Would recommend!
Daiso is a fantastic place. They have a great variety, amazing prices, and I always enjoy my time there.
Ive visited this location multiple times, and I will say that Ive enjoyed this location the most in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It reminds me of the Daiso I visited in Japan; its not the same size, but the prices are about the same. Would I return? YES.The prices are great here. It is your typical dollar store with a lot more variety. You can get quality items for cheap here, which is the best. The downfall? You can overspend here without knowing it, so make sure you check your cart prior to checking out.Daiso Japan is located in a great spot. When we visit, we also visit H-Mart and restaurants nearby. Its easy to get to and definitely worth your time.Overall, I would always visit this Daiso Japan because they have almost everything for a cheaper price. The only thing I wouldnt purchase here would be the snacks because I tend to go across the interstate to purchase snacks and food from H-Mart. Other than that, it is a great place to shop at.
We dive about an hour to visit the store. Selection isnt too bad. Toy section was really small. More cashiers would be nice.
Daiso is always a lot of fun! I was really happy to finally find a watering can of reasonable size for watering small seedlings and container plants here, and it was only $2. This location has a nice selection of cookware, kitchen tools, and dishes. It was very crowded though, and certain sections like cosmetics were overpicked and basically sold out.
This store is so much fun. A dollar store from Japan. There is always a good deal to be found here.
Associate was too busy stocking candy made me ring up my own merchandise had questions about prices she told me ring it up and void the transaction. Terrible experience will not be going back to this daiso location EVER AGAIN. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Great dishes and small items, however if you’re looking for snacks, I’d suggest going to a different Daiso. The staff are friendly and the store is big, so there’s a large selection to choose from.
Lots of cool odds and ends here. I love coming here.
Not super amazing but fun for little things you won’t find in a dollar store. Many of the items are from Japan, so they have popular Japanese characters on lots of fun stuff. The area where the store is also has lots of Asian specialty stores. A fun trip!
Amazing items and prices!! 100/10 very much recommend.
The store is very dusty and I saw some dead bugs throughout the store. One of the workers smells bad and the lines are so long even before noon. Teso has a cleaner store with better ac too.
I love it but recently it seems like they dont carry as much stock anymore.
Super adorable things, kind and helpful employees .I love coming here for my gifts and crafts 🥰
Lots of fun items to look at and of course some useful items for home, and cute functional items as well! love coming here (:
Has such a variety of stuff!! From the cutest stationary to skin care to pet accessories! I absolutely love coming here and will do again.
This was a fun store. They have a lot of neat items and are resonably priced. Most things are around $1.50. I found so many cute things!
Well kept Japanese dollar store. Kids have a blast perusing the aisles.
Amazing service and items but no restrooms
Pricing should be easier. Manager should return calls
Love this store. Super cute!!
This used to be the best daiso. Some of the staff was very rude. After todays trip we wont go back to this one.
A fun little place that you could lose your entire paycheck getting all the cool little things they have
There is lots of random cool things you didnt know you needed here. Fun to come across a lot of stuff from Japan you didnt know even existed.
Good prices. Staff is a little rude
I absolutely love this place! Always a great selection and great pricing.
This location has a wider selection than done of the other locations Ive visited. I received friendly help when I asked where to find something. I love that I can find useful everyday products for great prices.
Cute store, I always overspend.
Fun! When I travel I always get some chopsticks, bowls and useful things you could need for your travels.
I always enjoy my trips to Daiso. Theres always something new and fun to discover.
Great place. I love their notebooks and snacks! The store is always clean and neat.
I used to love to go to that store to shop for cute small stuff. But one thing really bothers me is that the cashier who works there is not friendly at all. There is that Indian looking girl, she is thin and tall, never greeting customers and only throw receipt to me when I checked out. it was so awkward, I greeted her first and she gave me cold look, and no contact at all. it is so rude. I wish she will not work there any more.
Loved it! Had the cutest items and cool things! Really nice set up during covid-19. I really had nice employees helping me! Plus next door there was a lovely bakery! Overall I loved the experience!
Such a fun place to visit. Always well organized and clean. Everything is a little over a dollar so a great place to do some guiltless shopping. I come here for stationary and especially the pens. Every time someone has used one of my pens they are surprised by how cheaply i get them. Im a graduate student so i go through pens quickly haha. Love it here!
It was good but covid rules are strict. Everythings is cool there though the matcha tea I got was amazing. Its my favorite
This location is a bit chaotic, due to the placement in a very high-traffic shopping center. they dont keep much in stock like other locations and the lines are pretty lengthy. i recommend going to a different location if you’d like to shop around!
Bigger than the Plano location with even more great stuff. Love finding unique items here! Its basically a Japanese dollar fifty & up store. Lots of stuff arranged like a department store. Even had yoga mats, blocks & exercise balls. Gift, party, craft, kitchen items surprisingly inexpensive. I come every few weeks & always find something new.
Nice sized diaso with a lot of great deals and fun finds.
The employees are always so kind here and willing to help you. The candy was pretty wiped out but I got a lot of the goodies on my list!! My favorite daiso.
Super cute stationary, face masks and home supplies!
Has everything youll ever need, and some stuff you didnt know you needed
Pretty cool shopping experience, items feel inexpensive and cheaply made, but loved the snack aisles.
Basically a better American dollar store, but, they do sell some higher priced items.Overall basic and mostly cheaply made. Know what to expect, but a nice store.
A fun store full of interesting stuff from Japan. If you like shopping, you should visit Daiso.
Cheap, cute stuff. Definitely one of those stores you can go to just to window shop and then end up leaving with something you didnt even know you needed lol
Rlly good stock! Quality 100 out of 100!! Definitely Recommend
I love coming to Daiso! Theres so much cool stuff. Everything is $1.50 unless stated otherwise. There is always something new each time I visit. There are seasonal items too.
I was truly appalled by one of the workers there. I threw away an almost empty cup of water that had a lid on it in their trash can at the front. The employee actually went into the trash can, dug it out, handed it back to me and said “throw it away outside.” I was speechless and didn’t even know what to say. I went ahead and did it, but wow..he went back into the trash can and made me throw it away outside. Not like it was still in my hand...it was already in their trash can! That shows how much they care about customers...
It was my first time going there and omg!!!! So amazing!!!!! Will definitely be going back. ♡♡
Very welcoming staff.
Neat store. Lots of japanese life-hack gadgets I never knew existed. Next time someone has a birthday, Im coming here for a present. Very clean. Very organized. Staff was nice and friendly..
Its like a Five Below or dollar store, but with cool Japanese items you cannot find elsewhere. They have toiletries, snacks, drinks, candy, office supplies, cleaning supplies, dishes, makeup, etc. Always a fun time to browse and see what treasures you can find.
Would recommend getting everything except for the snacks unless u are searching for a specific one
Time to take a mini vacation to Japan? Youve arrived! Great prices with lots of things written in Japanese. Never fear, everyone speaks English. A quick Google, points out that this place is popular in Japan with 2800 of their 4000 stores in Japan alone. Look it up. I did. I also got some great sushi plates and slate plates on clearance. Domo arigatou to Daiso.
Mostly mass produced stuff, but an interesting look into cultures other than mine. Some cool finds for stocking stuffers
Really fun place to check out and buy some inexpensive Japanese products varying from office, stationery and party supplies to household, kitchen and snacks. Note that all sales are final since this is essentially a dollar store (most items $1.50, some $2-$8). Great options for durable goods for parties. Wish we had one in NC!
Cool nick nacks and do dads here.
Fun shop full of items that you didnt know you needed until you saw it! Great for buying gifts and party favors as the prices are really reasonable. They also have pretty tea sets and dishes.
Its very clean, organized, services is exceptional and such a vast selection that you want to take home!
Greta Japanese dollar store cool stuff
WONDErFUL DAISO ITS JUST LIKE THE ONE IN YOMITAN OKINAWA I LOVE DAISOS
I love finding little quaint treasures here, they have all kinds of cute little gems! Great for a crafting time, decorating time or just wanting to cutify your home!
Always a good place to go when youre around the area
Wonderful place to visit to spend a little bit of money and come away with a ton of stuff! Sure, it may not all be useful stuff--who needs eight kinds of chopsticks, really? But if buying things makes you happy, this is a perfect store to visit. There are some staples I visit here for as well--small kitchen dishrags at 6 for $1.50 (great price to use them as disposables), kitchen sponges, oversized hair clips, puzzle piece floor tiles for the cats, cat toys, plant containers, loads of organization items. Beyond useful household items though, theres a lot to treat yourself with--I found some adorable dessert-shaped erasers to collect, theyve got a lot of sewing supplies, decent pens for cheap, adorably shaped cookie molds, etc. Really, theres a lot to go through! And you could fill your cart and not spend more than $50.It does feel a bit disingenuous that their snacks section tends to not adhere to the $1.50 price point (I imagine theyre the most popular items), but its still often a better price than you could get importing them through online retailers.
Neat little shop. .
Cute store with so many different items that are both very cheap and high quality. Always a blast to visit and I usually end up buying more than I plan. I have never been dissapointed with the products I buy here.
Daisos vision statement is to create stores that offer unique value - supposedly a unique surprise and delight shopping experience. Definitely, I was amazed when shopping at this store today. Customers are required to wear face masks when they are in the store. If they dont have ones, they either leave the store or buy masks there. Each customer only needs one mask to cover ones face. However, the store does not sell individually-packed masks. Daiso! Can you tell me what kind of value that you create by selling customers one single purchase of 5 face masks for $5 during this pandemic time?
Always a fun and affordable place to shop.
Very empty store and longs waits in line. They need more people at the cash register. Had to wait nearly 15 minutes in line and the card readers are so SLOW.
This store always has a neat variety of inexpensive products that are both cute and functional. They sell a variety of home goods, stationery, toys, gifts, and Japanese snacks.
A lot of selections, always find some interesting Japanese gadgets. Sometimes I would buy them just because they are cute.
I likes the Daiso products. My children loves them. They are cute, and the price is reasonable.
Ive always been interested in things from Japan and am the type that has antique wall scrolls on the wall, in addition to a katana sword on hand at all times (I actually bought some tatami mats intending to use them though it turned out I would need to get something slightly different.) I was pleased to find attractive chawan bowls (tea cups) for very cheap, including the bowls that are used for different seasons throughout the year (such as the larger and thicker ceramic cups I keep dropping accidentally; Im on the third one.) Fabric storage containers are handy for special projects (I use mine for beer brewing though Im sure they could be used for arts and crafts like projects, and the one I bought had a decent black and white herringbone pattern,) and some extremely robust canvas bags with handles work well for heavy things (and remind me of flour cloth bags which is probably an ideal use for some.) I usually return whenever I need to replace the chawan I keep breaking, and occassionally will pick up something from the noodle section which have been pretty decent. Though Ive only ever spent 5-10 minutes here I was pleased to know it was in the US, as its a heck of a lot better than some of the things we have here.
Incredibly well stocked store! I went in looking for paper and came out with a new favorite place to shop, they carry items such as practical trash bags to beautiful plushies and adorable accessories. 10/10
Can buy things for your apartment at a reasonable price!!
Awesome store to get Japanese products
Pleasantly surprised!!
Such a wonderful store! They have handled this pandemic far better than the majority of other businesses, requiring all customers to wear a face mask and offering them for sale for a severe discount compared to other places. Not to mention they properly meter the traffic in and out of the store to enforce social distancing.
This place is good for different items in cheap price that you will not find somewhere else. I like many stationery items here. The customer service people are always very nice here. I like this place very much.
Daiso in Carrollton is simply wonderful. Very clean, bright, and inviting. I got an adorable magnet, some nice kitchenwares, and of course a cute little blind box, which I got the exact plush keychain I wanted from it! My fiancé and I absolutely adore Daiso. Their prices are great and everything seems durable and of good quality. 10/10!
Tucked inside a strip mall is Daiso, a Japanese version of what we know as a dollar store. Most things for sale here are $1.50 unless marked. Plus this store is always neat and organized and the staff are helpful and friendly.Definitely a must stop for anyone that loves Japanese products.
Great place for Japanese knick-knacks and snacks!
