I purchased a mower deck/drive belt for my John Deere zero turn, arrived home and installed it and within a minute of cutting grass it broke, I hurried back to exchange it, it was within an hour of purchasing it and the parts desk told me there was no warranty on belts and that I needed to check my mower deck and pulleys. I argued about the fine print on the paperwork it doesnβt say anything about no warranty on the belt and it actually says that anything can be returned within a certain time frame with a invoice which I had. I purchased the other belt because I obviously needed that certain belt and I installed it and cut grass all day so it wasnβt my mower it was obviously a defected belt. I really feel like this was handled incorrectly and Iβm going to reach out to others about this.EDIT: I called this morning and explained what happened to the parts manager, I explained that I purchased the other belt and ran it the same exact way and mowed all day with it with no problems, he agreed it was a issue with the belt and not how I installed it or the mower. Got a refund for the detective belt and I have the perfect fit part I needed, I will be going here for my parts needed for tractor and mower.
I have a John Deere z-225 that Iβve had for over a decade. Purchased from there. Over the years Iβve put that thing through a LOT of use! In the process Iβve about learned to fix and replace all kinds of things myself. Even with it being an older mower, they always have what I need in stock!
I own a lawn care business and was wanting to get into Multiple John Deere zero turns for my crews, the guy that is over those sales is very rude and acts unhelpful like Iβm inconveniencing him. Sunsouth Carrollton has almost turned me away from John Deere completely!

I have not ever been so unhappy with a retailer or business as I have Sunsouth. I purchased a John Deere battery for my lawn tractor in June of 2020. Now mind you I paid quite a bit for this battery as the John Deere name should count for something because it surely took alot of green to purchase! Well I used this battery for a better part of 3 to 4 months until winter. When I start to cut my grass the first part of April my lawnmower keeps dying on me in the middle of cutting. I had someone put a tester on it and it was only putting out 3 volts out of 12. So I took the battery back to sunsouth and they proceed to tell me that a battery that cost me 60$ is not under warranty that I purchased not even 11 months prior. I could purchase another battery for the $60 and they would give me a $9 core for the obviously defective one that I purchase in June of 2020. They said the battery only has a 6 month warranty on them if it was purchased over the counter, and 1 year if they installed it through their shop??? Well I would think that if you purchased a John Deere battery it would last longer than 11 months at the price you have to pay for them. The original Everstart battery that was on the mower when I purchased used from a friend lasted 5 years before I replaced with the John Deere battery. Very poor in customer service satisfaction given by the staff at Sunsouth. I will not buy from this dealer ever again as they dont care about customer service or satisfaction from repeat customers. Not very good business but I guess a 60$ defective battery purchase is not why they are in business but if you dont give good customer service through all points of business, which include sales and service as well as in store purchases, eventually you wont be in business. Thank you for not caring about customer satisfaction for products that you sell that are clearly defective for whatever reason at the time of purchase.

The best John Deere dealership in West/Mid Georgia. Huge John Deere selection and very knowledgeable staff. They just moved into a larger facility and expanded their inventory and mechanics shop. They can arrange for tractor pickup if its dead in the field.

I love my john deere mower Ive had it 10yrs. Do I am so disappointed with the service Im receiving. All I wanted was a tune up and blades changed they have had it 2 weeks and still havent worked on it that I know of. I call am put on hold for 10min 1st time they didnt know but would be done Monday, I called Tuesday this time pit on hold for 15.min,still dont know whats going on with it. So I went in person sat to check. Took him 10 to find it still dont know what is going on. He well call Monday. They have said this before. I really love my mower its the best, if they just had a service department. I have proof for what I say!
