My boyfriend took me here to get tacos and I must say I’m impressed ! Love the service and the food is so good. Give you lots of food, no stinginess here! Fresh and lots of flavor!

The meat selection is great. Definitely try the marinated fajita and chicken. Dont be surprised. Its a small store and it is always packed and hard to move around. But the meat is worth it. The ready to eat food is also delicious.

The restaurant is one of the best Mexican food Ive had EVER. Highly recommended. Place is always packed so you might have to eat in your car or take it to go. The torta is delicious and the tacos are the best in Dallas. Top Noth authentic Mexican food. You will be very satisfied.

Small store, but with a wide variety of products from several countries besides Mexico. For example, I was surprised to find Polar beer, originally from Venezuela! (even though it is bottled in Florida...)Carne asada and fresh fruit are some of the best grocery items that can be found here.

La Tapatia is out go to store for tortillas. We love the tortillas they make in house and the milagro tortillas. They are a good part of our dinners most days. Prices are very fair as well.

This place is good the only thing it needs is a bigger store, its very crowded but overall its good. If it gets a bigger store (I know it costs a lot of money) then I would surely give it five stars, as for now it will remain at 4 stars

Best, most amazing, most generous Tapatia I’ve ever been to, and on top of it, the kindest staff ever. Father in law is in town and we’ve gone like 4 time in 2 weeks 🙃 I always get barbacoa. They give plenty veggies and salsa. Cheapest bakery goods around. 60¢ for a delicious cake piece 🥲 my husband is obsessed with their pasteries. 1000% recommend.

Buy the barbacoa plus some of the ready tortillas on Sunday morning, you will thank me later. Also this tamales are actually good they are thick boys.

I got tamales for Christmas and was so disappointed. The worst tasting tamales I have ever had, could not even finish one.I decided to try the street tacos and give the store another chance, worst tacos ever. No flavor in the meat and nothing tasted fresh. Worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. The El Tapatio store in Little Elm is what I was use to and was hoping this was similar. Extremely far from good food and always crowded for bland food.

I had a craving for Elotes & found this place. I’m so impressed with it! Most times when I have tried it, they put a bunch of the tajin spice on it where I can’t enjoy it because it is too spicy for my tastebuds. This place is awesome & made it perfectly! I will come back to try the tacos & get more elotes!!

Rating is based upon grocery shopping experience only -Avocados are always perfectly ripe and not tiny! Only need 1-2 compared to 3-4 regular grocery store size. Selection of other fresh fruits/veggies are just as great with a good price.Selection of sweets and other Mexican snacks is great, as well.Recommend the tablitas if you are looking to grill out at home.Checkout is fast and friendly.

Meat and produce is good quality. Their marinated fajitas and tablitas are excellent. I really like this place but am goving 3 stars because their bakery is NOT so good. Picked out a cake and the final product was NOTHING like what i picked out. Asked for peach as the filling and got about 4 small pieces of pineapple. Decoration was not the greatest and it was DRY. It was horrible. DO NOT GET CAKES FROM HERE

I was scared that I’d feel unwelcome coming here. But truthfully this place spoke to my soul as soon as I stepped in. The store is indeed small but has everything you need. The people are genuine and sweet. The taqueria indescribable by words. The food smells overwhelming amazing. It’s just incredible!

If you have never shopped at La Tapatia, you need to! I go there frequently, mostly for beef and chicken. They have pre-marinated beef and chicken, which is great for fajitas, and specialty cuts that are great for throwing on the barbecue. If you don’t speak Spanish, that is not a problem. The store associates are very friendly and helpful. Try to pre-marinated chicken wings on the grill! Wonderful when you have a party!
