Terrible communication. You don’t ever seem to be able to call and talk to a real person. Their call answering system allows you to stay on hold for a few minutes listening to their annoying sales pitch then it unceremoniously dumps you to voicemail which they never return. I love my new Toyota (bought at a different dealer) but look forward to when the Toyotacare runs out so I can go somewhere else and pay for service. Maybe I’ll just skip free oil changes and go someplace else anyway.

I am a huge toyota fan. Maybe it was a one off experience but they repeatedly dropped the ball.Took my tacoma in for a recall on the fuel pump and on the way home the check engine light popped up. I scanned the code to find it had a evap leak.Every shop makes mistakes. How you make them right is what counts.I scheduled an appointment to get it fixed three days out. I dripped off the truck for the day and got a call mid day that the machine they needed to diagnose the fault was in use.I dropped off the truck again the next day and they tried to tell me that the issue they found may not be related to the recall work.It was the filler tube how could this not be related. They refused to acknowledge that it was their fault but still covered the cost.I probably wouldnt have left a bad review because typically Id dont have time but now Im sitting here waiting for them to finish paperwork and have been waiting a half hour after they had my truxk all day.
Very helpful workers, the price can be a little high but they fix things the right way.
Top notch, so was sales. Came back for the first service and it was quick and easy. Thanks to Heather in service. Come here with confidence, thats why we drive to Carson from Reno for all of our Toyota and Ford needs.
Service department is always very friendly. Like all dealer service centers, they charge more than should for basic maintenance like oil change or coolant flush.They do have a great waiting area with beverage center and they usually have cookies out. Very modernized with updates as your vehicle progresses with a screen that tells you how you vehicle is progressing.They call or text when its done so you can leave as there is a mix of shopping all within 1/2 -3/4mile. You can even get lunch or catch a movie just up the road. If your vehicle will take 3-4 hours, they do offer a courtesy shuttle.
The Toyota Service department has friendly and competent employees. They are willing to answer questions and really want to see that you get the best and appropriate car for your car. The waiting room is very pleasant and you don’t mind waiting.

The only place I trust to service my Toyotas. Very helpful and knowledgeable service staff. Clean waiting area with monitors to update you on your vehicle status. Prices for parts and labor are on the more expensive side, but the piece of mind is worth it.
Greg in service is the person we call to set up and work with when our vehicles need work. We are a Toyota family and have been for over 30 years. The staff is friendly and they have always gone out of their way to help us. I have referred many co-workers to Carson City Toyota.
