I was very impressed with this bookstore thats operated by the Friends of the Carson City library. Theres an excellent selection of quality books at reasonable prices. I came away with a nice stack of books for 35 dollars, about the cost of one new hardcover book. The store is located in a former residence. The volunteers staffing the store are great.

An easily overlooked attachment to the Carson City Public Library. Located directly across the street from the Library is this immaculately organized used book store. Offering a huge selection of books organized for easy access at almost give away prices.

Great shopping!! Everything is so clean and organized like the library. Thrift stores just have their books in a jumble.

This is a fantastic book store with great prices, and their books all seem to be in decent to great condition.

Went here on just the right day and got 50% off all Science fiction and fantasy. Came home with an entire bag of books for only five dollars. Plus shopping here benefits the library.

Great place with a huge selection. I used to go there at least once every 2 weeks to find new books for my collection, so it is kind of a let down that they are only open for a few hours a week during my work hours now. I hope they are able to open back up full time soon, or at least for a few hours on the weekends.

Its not that i didnt like this place it was nice but, they didnt have much books that i wanted by a certain authors. However i really liked some that i saw that looks like i could read a few. But its very small and though the ladies there are helpful when asked, it didnt feel super welcomed. Also no comic books at all, big 0 for comics so have no idea why Google listed it as part books + comics as a second option in listing for comic books.

Great selection of used books. At incredibly low prices. Open Monday through Saturday at 9:30. Some books and magazines free for the taking.

This place is Carson Citys best treasure! The staff and donors are wonderful which result in a great selection of books and magazines at a super bargain price. The place is also clean, organized, and welcoming. I only wish they would have a wish list so you could be notified when a book you are looking for does come in.

If youre a book lover, this place will feel like home. They have every book for every interest. They also have cds and movies as well. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I visit this store every week.

Very friendly people, excellent prices, and if you cant afford a book they have an extensive free rack! So you can always get a good quality bug even if you cant afford one!

So many great finds from puzzles to movies to books. The prices are fantastic too!

Not only do they have used books/magazines/DVDs/etc. in excellent shape and price, they have great free books also. I highly recommend going there for great reading materials and also dealing with very kind and helpful people.

One of the best Friends of Library bookstores Ive ever been in. Its surprisingly large and books are nicely arranged by category.Only wish the magazines for sale would be given as much attention, arrange alphabetically
