What a great coffee shop! We visited the Tahoe area and came across this place. Outstanding coffee and a well designed roomy layout for both inside and outside. Just a great relaxing environment. The staff were very pleasant and helpful

My recent visit to Old world coffee lab was very satisfying and enjoyable. It was a Sunday afternoon the weather was pretty warm there were a few people in the beautifully appointed courtyard. I had a iced version and a hot version of a coffee drink that included cinnamon and a little Cayenne coffee and chocolate. Yummy! My buddy still was friendly and very capable. This is the back end of the Union brewery and restaurant. Please see my review of my experience there also.

I like the simple menu with complex and delicious flavors. You dont need a coffee shop with over 50 items on the menu. Old World has a smaller menu than the conglomerate; but they still have plenty to offer. They offer friendly customer service, high-quality ingredients, and flavors that never disappoint.If you havent explored Carson Citys downtown area lately, you need to. Old World is nestled right on Curry behind the brewery. They offer a fantastic menu and they are super consistent with fantastic flavors to fit any mood and any season.

Fantastic. Personally I’m a coffee purist and there coffee is one of the best and that’s hard for me to say since, I already have a coffee spot I love in Las Vegas. The staff are very friendly as well. Great coffee, amazing atmosphere, amazing everything.

Amazing place, kind service and astonishing coffee! This is a great place to be, it is a high quality of comfort and the coffee gives such great uplift, the worker(s) are so kind. I would honestly make the trip of coming back. Despite the drinks being in a to-go cup they do their best job with the latte art. 🥰🙌🏼

I am on extended visit to CC and have visited multiple coffee shops. This is THE BEST. Yes, it takes longer than going to Starbucks. The coffee is more than worth the wait. The covered patio is fabulous, even on a hot day. Loved it so much I bought a shirt!

Old World Coffee Lab is a great coffee place (both in Carson City and Reno). I enjoy their lattes and espresso drinks. They also sell gourmet chocolates and different types of coffee beans. The employees are mostly friendly and helpful. Great fire pit outside in Carson, and usually a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

Cool place, but cannot get a dark roasted coffee here. We only brew light and medium roasts, I was told with a sniff. So much for hundreds of years of coffee roasting experience.Good place to visit, work, watch people. Nice bar and restaurant connected via a long hallway in the front. This is a nice addition to Carson city.

I went in to get a cup of coffee this afternoon and had a bad experience. Im a Disabled Afghanistan War Veteran and have a legitimate health condition which prevents me from wearing a facial covering. I fall into the category of mask exemptions which is outlined very clearly in the Governors mandate. It states that people with disabilities are exempt. When I got in line I was asked by the gentleman working the register to put on a mask. I calmly explained to him that I have a disability and that according to the mask mandate Im exempt. We went back and forth for a couple of minutes. He didnt seem to understand that the Governor put exemptions in for people like myself. I also was harassed by some of the other customers who treated me with contempt and anger even after they found out that I was just calmly explaining my rights. None of the customers would stop to even hear what I had to say. I kindly said I would leave, asked for the managers name and left.Needless to say I will never go in there again and I will share what happened with anyone if they ask me about coffee places in Carson. Very sad that I was treated the way I was just because I was following the mandate exemption policy. I suffer from mental health issues from my service downrange and what happened today at Old World definitely doesnt help what I go through on a daily basis. What has happened to our Country???

Beautiful setting and great service as many local coffee spots often have. I ordered an iced vanilla lavender latte. I’ve never had a coffee like that, flavor was absent, espresso wasn’t rich, it was disappointing.

Delicious coffee and tea, purest will really enjoy their drinks as there is more emphasis on the coffee and less on the food foo additives.

After visiting OWC in Reno several times, I decided to make visit to their Carson City Coffee Lab. Its just as fantastic! Deliciously crafted coffee and espresso, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have super fast wifi!

The girl that worked morning of March 24 did not like costumers bothering her movie time on her phone. I saw her rude attitude towards another elder gentle man because he dare to disturb her movie time to ask for couple pack of sugars.

Best coffee in the valley. Period. Coffee on main in Gardnerville is fantastic and priced well, but this place absolutely blows it out of the water and isnt even too much of a premium!The fancy coffees are only half of the experience of this place. It is a wonderful rustic atmosphere and yet it feels hip and progressive at the same time.Absolutely a great place to hang out for few while you enjoy a meticulously crafted Mocha Drogata (spicy mocha).

Travelling from Montana for two weeks and stoked to find such an incredible coffee shop. This place focuses on the actual art of coffee. The specials are always top notch and not the sugary fake junk everyone else makes. Incredibly friendly staff, Alexa is a phenomenal barista and knows what customer service is all about. This place has tons of seating indoors and out, so it’s a great place to enjoy a quality cup of coffee with friends or while studying. A+

I am not kidding when I am saying best coffee in Carson city! Much better than Starbucks or duch coffee. I wish they had more food items on the menu.

One of the best almond lattes I have ever had. Only one size though & was expensive. Great customer service, nice & fast.

The one in Reno is great but the one in Carson thoroughly disappointed me. I paid $4.50 for a nitro brew that tasted like brown water. Even my wife who drinks watered down coffee threw it out cause it tasted so bad. No flavor at all. Very disappointed, I’ll stick to the one in Reno.

Oats are heavily sprayed with glyphosate, you’ve got the best coffee bean so I don’t understand why you wouldn’t carry a healthier milk substitute.😔Even a coconut cream would be a better option than oats.
