Warning to anyone who orders a multiple layer round cake: Don’t do it. This bakery department doesn’t know how to make cakes that stay straight. Also If I request a cake with sprinkles and no writing, wouldn’t you think that means the whole cake should be in sprinkles? Apparently not according to Publix. You even had my cell if there was any confusion you could have called me. This is the second time I get a cake from y’all and it’s like this. Never ordering one from y’all again. I could make a better one at home!

Desserts and chicken are great here. Ordered a cake and chicken for a birthday party. It was gone within 5 mins. I recommend it.

I used to work for Publix for 15 years. So I still shop there, Love the bogos and digital free coupons. Most times the customer service is great. Lana Brooke is very friendly. Damon and Joan are nice. This is the Cartersville GA location..

Cartersville Publix truly has always been such a pleasure to shop at. Amazing customer service and the best products. I especially want to recognize their bakery. Publix bakery is the only one we will go to now. We have bought A LOT of cake this year covering anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, wedding showers, our own foster shower, and even several different themed dinners at church. Most recently was a custom request for my nieces 1st birthday. Jordan in the bakery was so helpful and friendly, it was such a pleasant experience. I showed pictures and explained what I wanted exactly and the toppers that we had purchased to use. They went above and beyond my expectations and the cake was a huge hit! Not only was it beautifully made, but absolutely delicious! We were also thrilled to learn that 1st birthday cakes also come with a free smash cake similarly decorated. To make the whole thing even more amazing they so kindly made an order of white frosted cupcakes when we came to pick the other cakes up. (This was after dropping other cupcakes at home and needing more immediately!) I absolutely recommend shopping here and going to their bakery for the best!

I went out in the heat, which I am not to do. They had a few things I needed, but they were OUT of the Dear Park water, which was on sale. The Sweet Kiss cantaloupe was so small you hold it in your hand and it was still frozen. The motorized chair, there was NONE, they only HAVE 5 for the store. I wont be back.😥😥😥

Super store and staff. Well stocked across the store. The staff well walk you to an item you cant find and literally lift it off the shelf. This points to a great manager as their style flows downhill.

Love the options of shopping here. I continue On line ordering and curbside pickup and that is perfect for me. Saves time and $ (compulsive shopping). Make my list throughout the week, order then pick up! Also digital notification of on my way and I am here streamlines the pickup process.

Always very clean and organized. Excellent bakery selection for both desserts and breads. My go to store for birthday cakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, ice cream cakes, etc. Delicious and affordable chicken wings with numerous flavor options. All around great store with knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful employees

Nice store but getting help at the deli can be a challenge. I had to pick up a party platter and had to wait over 15 minutes just to ask someone to get the platter out of their fridge for me. Two of the deli staff were helping other customers. I saw other people working in the deli but they didnt come out to see if they could help. If youre in a hurry the Publix deli may not be a good choice. The staff wasnt particularly nice or polite once they finally got around to helping me either.

Favorite supermarket. The customer service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly. Great sandwiches at the deli and bakery has delicious desserts. The butcher dept is helpful and answers all questions. Will cut meat to order too.

Moved to the area from out of town and I’ve always had good experiences at Publix’s from different areas. However, after six months of shopping here the fruit and meat is constantly going bad before the sell by date. My fridge is always at 37 degrees and other brands and items keep just fine. But I’ve thrown out over $100 worth of pork, ground beef, and fruit that’s under the publix label. Buyer beware.

So many things that can be improved. Deli is atrocious. Unbelievable wait times, doesn’t matter if there are 15 people in line, only one person will work to serve customers. This goes for subs, hot case and sliced meat. They are all equally terrible. The rest of the employees are making online orders (Please get rid of online orders) and the employees won’t even acknowledge there is a line to the entrance doors. No issues with bakery or meat which are always stellar in stock and service. Sushi is hit or miss, lunch you are probably ok, after 5 or 6 it’s usually all gone. Grocery part of store is lacking in that they usually always run out of sale items and do not limit how much you can buy of sale items. I have seen people wheel out carts full of a sale item and there is none left for people to buy. Checkout and baggers are friendly and do good although there needs to be more lines open, lines occasionally stretch down the aisles. Pharmacy is terrible, takes 2-3 days to get a refill and then half the time you show up and “it’s not ready, give us 15 minutes.” And lastly, watch your receipts, literally every time i walk out, I have to go back in to have between 2&4 items refunded that had a tag showing one price and ring up higher, they are terrible about not removing sale tags from previous sales. Also, one last note, I swear that’s it, you should ban or make certain times for these instacart workers to shop. They drag around 2 carts blocking everything and act like regular customers being there are an inconvenience. If it is a service you offer, then I see them as an extension of publix, some of these people are as rude as they come. I can’t even enjoy shopping without tripping over 6 or 7 of these people every time I come in. Giving 2 stars only because of the meat department, bakery, checkers and baggers otherwise it’d be one. Get new management for the deli!!!

Very good selection of items for a plant-based diet. They have most of the items I need and its a nice clean store and not too big. The employees are all helpful and friendly.

I would like to say how much I like the Publix in Cartersville Ga. . I shop there frequently and especially love the people in the deli . I can go into Publix feeling down or sad and by the time I come out I have a smile on my face . I shop alot of grocery stores but no one has the customer service like my Publix . It really is like going to see friends .😄❤️🙏

Very good. Lady named Val handled our Thanksgiving dinner order outstanding - with her recommendations. Checkout was a breeze.Gentleman with dark beard in meat counter very helpful. Also made us aware of your status in Florida. Much much better than Ingles or Kroger.

Please PLEASE do something about the wait time for subs/hot food. Every time I’m in here it’s such a long wait-at least 15 minutes sometimes as much as 30. No other complaints, the store is great other than that.

I love publix however have ran into a customer service person at this location on several occasions who is very rude. Each time I see her fill in at a check out register then I get prepared to be treated a certain way. After talking to people in the community she is well known for her behavior. She truly has made me so angry at times that I keep telling myself that I will stop going there.

I don’t usually post reviews but Victoria and the bakery staff did a WONDERFUL job! Cake was beautiful and very very yummy! Victoria was very accommodating and creative! We will be using them again!

Publix is great. But this location is very disappointing. There are 8 registers in this store. None of them are self check-out. So if you’re stuck behind someone with a lot of items, or a slow cashier, you’re out of luck. I kept looking around at all of the other people waiting, hoping that the management would open another register or two, but that never happened. So if you are going into this Publix thinking that you’ll be able to run in and pick up a few items and get back out efficiently, think again.

I never post reviews but...I had the most rewarding experience shopping today. In these uncertain times amidst a horrible virus I was welcomed. I want to especially mention the gentleman who helped me in the fresh seafood section. He seasoned and steamed my grouper fillet to perfection. Also the manager on duty who helped get fresh clean vegetables and fruit. They double bagged my groceries when I explained I was walking home. Thank you so much!!

I have been shopping at Publix for over 20 years. Im typically very satisfied with their stores. The people that are employed there are always very friendly and willing to help you find anything, their meat department is clean and their prices are reasonable. I only have 2 complaints about Publix: one being their produce department-- Ive never been that satisfied with the way their produce looks. A lot of times its not fresh and sometimes it looks damaged. The only other problem I have with Publix is the way they have handled their stock during the Corona virus times. They have been out of a lot of things, as I know other places have too, I just feel they could have done a much better job.

Watch out for people driving almost ran over myself and 2 year old who was holding my hand . And then almost backed up into my child. I picked up my child and yelled at the guy driving. He didnt care and parked illegally.
