We flew here from Ohio just to do the 2 six flags here in Texas. This one was clean, fun, and had some different types of roller coasters. Despite the fact that it isnt a very large park, there IS a lot to do here. Our personal favorites were Iron Rattler(especially at night)and Superman. Be advised that the haunted attractions cost EXTRA on top of your ticket. Even if youre a gold pass holder.
Always a great time at Six Flags. However it does feel like this place is getting more and more crowded. Lines formsome rides are over 2 hours. And the cost of fast passes are almost twice the price of entry! Great day but I would advise a season pass and go over 2 or 3 times, because you will feel less sad about not being able to ride everything.
Roller coasters are some of the best I have gone on! Food prices for the portions you get are good, but still as high as you would expect at an amusement park. A typical meal (burger and fries or chicken tenders and fries) $14.99. The all day meal deal is the way to go, as it comes with unlimited drinks, all day. If you stay till closing dont expect to leave soon. They still have not figured out how to orderly empty the parking lot. Unfortunately a LOT of people are rude and drive across the parking lot ( instead of waiting in line) and cut in line jamming up the system.
It has been over 10 years since I have been here. Lots of new roller coasters and a great update to the old wooden Rattler - now the Iron Rattler. Love the new hybrid wooden/steel coaster. The Wonder Woman ride was another new coaster that was fun to ride. Always have a great time at Six Flags. Love the firework and laser light show at the end of the night. You will have a great time at this park for sure.
My family and I are season pass holders. For locals, the season pass is a great value and worth every penny, as are the refillable cups. The included water park in the admission price is a huge plus. This is solid theme park with great rides for all ages. This place is not Disney or Universal, nor does it claim to be. No real overarching theme, Parking is first come first served with no shuttles, etc. Just a good old fashioned Six Flags that at least keeps adding a new ride every year. I do really like that they constantly rotate the seasonal themes. They sell s’mores in the winter, have fun spooky drinks during Halloween, etc. Definitely worth a trip if you’re in town and looking for a fun day.
I am so thankful that there is a Six Flags that I can visit as often as I do with my family! The only reason I could never five star this place is because the $$$$ of everything is so high. But you will have a great time. Our six flags weekends are highly anticipated, my son and my boyfriend and I love fright fest and wearing costumes on our favorite roller coasters!! 🖤My advice if you plan on going more than once, get a season pass & do your flash pass through your season pass. It pays for itself in two visits. Days where the park is packed you’re gonna be thanking me for this advice. Wait times in lines can exceed 2 hrs. The longest we have waited (not in line) with our flash pass on the busiest day of the year was 48 minutes 😅 when the watch vibrates and we get in line, we never wait longer than 10 minutes. ITS WORTH IT.
This was my first time & I absolutely loved it. Already planning the next trip!! The scenery around the park is beautiful. Staff was very nice & inclusive! Some rides were close which congested the other rides. SoI HIGHLY suggest getting the Flash Pass, cause the lines were pretty freaking long. Now, the food on the other case... The slice of pizza is NOT worth $13.99!
Wear comfortable shoes and please consider the express passes to skip the ride lines, otherwise lines are 45 mins or even longer. Disappointed that we didnt get to get a turkey leg because those lines were also extremely long. However I think people expect the wait at six flags. Loved the Halloween Finale however because we stayed we were stuck in exiting traffic for over 2 hours. There has got to be a better way to direct traffic. If you are an inpatient person I recommend leaving the park at least an hr before closing.
We had an amazing time. Planned 3 days in case of weather but it wasnt bad at all, in fact it was the nicest summer Ive ever had in San Antonio, 80 degree weather ! Be aware the water park is closed Tuesday and Wednesday, and floor is a little painful, would definitely suggest water socks. Really the only disappointing thing to me was there werent any shows going on Im guessing because the crowds were so light, but they had an amazing light and fireworks show at night which was so cool. We were able to ride most of the coasters that we wanted to only one down for repairs. This is such a well ran Six Flags park the food is so much better and eating areas than the park in Arlington, I wish they would try and emulate! Thanks for an amazing vacation!!
FRIGHT FEST: Took the teens to the first weekend of Fright Fest. Got there about 5pm on a Sunday. Not too packed at all. It was awesome! Haunted Houses are an additional cost. You should really attend The Awakening show. Pretty cool. Grab a map and hit up all the Scare Zones. Overall, had a fun time. 💀🎃 Cant wait to go again!
***MILITARY DISCOUNT*** So much fun to be had here. Dont park in the front of the parking lot if you plan to stay to watchtower fireworks! We stayed in the parking lot for 1 hour after the fireworks just trying to get out of the parking lot!😲 Get the diamond Membership, at least one person in your group! It is worth it if you plan on coming back several times a year. 50% discount on food and items in the stores. You cant beat it!
Went on a Thursday and the lines were pretty short. Rides were pretty typical for amusement park. Most of the staff were extremely helpful. The food was average priced but the lack of variety was annoying since they force you to eat in the park. You can get a burger, chicken tenders, BBQ, turkey leg, or pizza. Really wanted a Salad or cold deli sandwich in the heat. Had the fast pass but it wasnt really needed. I can see where it would be helpful on busy days. Was told some fast pass entrances had to be closed for lack of staff.
Everyone has an opinion and this is mine. Horrible guest services. Miss leading offers. Meal pass shows a Souvenir plastic cup. Dont expect to get one. Gave us paper cups because protocols had changed. Restrooms are nasty. Couldn’t find an adult to tell them they had no soaps in one of the restrooms. People jumping lines everywhere. We love theme parks but this one was not up to what we have experienced in others. Rides are really cool. Avoid eating at the chicken wing place. Super slow rude service. was in line for an hour only to receive Boneless wings that tasted like old oil. i could go on and on.
The BEST Six Flags thus far. Weve been to the Dallas location; Illinois, San Antonio, and Houston (Water Park). The Dallas location is Very old in appearance, Black Tar walking paths (tire your legs-relentless heat) & water park is totally separate (Bus/Trolley Ride) & wave Pool is smaller. Illinois is really old in appearance & spread out/vast and not as many rides.
My family has been loyal members for 9 years and this fright fest was the final straw. we’ll be cancelling our memberships. we paid $70 A PERSON, on top of our memberships to the park, to purchase Fright Passes and express wristbands to skip the lines. conveniently, it’s not listed on the sign when purchasing (and no one told us when we asked about a hundred questions about pricing) that you only get access to each house once. and each house only lasts about 3 minutes. we’ve also spent the entire day waiting in insanely long lines, for them to CUT THE RIDES SHORT. every year they’ve changed the fright fest pricing, and every year it gets worse. they’re actively shoving out middle and lower class families from their park. it’s disgusting. you’d think they’d do better considering the amount of time during the pandemic we didn’t get to use the park we continued to pay to use. guess not. cancelling our memberships and going to sea world.
Took 2 star off due to recent poor experience trying to get out of the park. 2021 has good deals with their season pass includes parking. Looks like it is working because it is getting crowded on weekends. Fun rides and shows. Nice water park. One caveat is that the parking lot has a horrendous design. Once it rained with a thunderstorm and everyone tried to get out but only one lane for thousands of cars trying to exit. Which means hours of waiting just trying to drive out of its super congested parking lot. Whoever designed the parking lot did a horrible, terrible job. Needs vast improvement in traffic control and exit lanes. What a shame that such a great experience at the park is marred by this poor oversight.
This was a fun little park. They had great rides. I love how the exits are close to the entrance for every ride (we are avid amusement park patrons). The lines were short during the Halloween fest and we were scared pretty good a few times. The park is cut out of the hills and the premises is compact and clean. We really liked it but dont expect to have a major theme park experience simply due to the fact that its not as large as the other Six Flags, Cedar Point, or Busch Gardens.
We had a wonderful time at Fright Fest. Its a Fun enjoyable time during the day, But when the night comes, its totally Spooky. Theres a lot of fog being put out where youre unable to see anything in front of you. This gives the creatures an opportunity to sneak up on you and scream in your face. The horror music thats being played through out the whole park makes it even the more scary. This by no mean is meant for children under the age of 12. If you have small children I suggest you leave the park before night fall. If youre a person that enjoys creepy scary things, this would be perfect for you. The creatures are unable to touch you, and you cant touch them either. Youre unable to have your phone light on due to the safety of the characters, it can interfere with their vision. Youre able to purchase haunted houses tickets to participate in. Theres several of them, but I didnt participate in them because I just dont do haunted houses. I do suggest to purchase a fast pass to keep from waiting in the long lines. The water park was transformed into a haunted park which I recommend you to visit, it was amazing. Fiesta Texas goes above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable Fright Night with Spooky, scary and safe entertainment. If youve never been, youre missing out. Put this one on your bucket list. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
My family and I love Six Flags and we have memberships to the Six Flags in Dallas, TX. we also love the San Antonio Six Flags because the rides are amazing!! Wonder Woman and the Iron Rattler and perfect thrill rides! However, this Six Flags does not have the same amenities as the one in Dallas. I get free refills each visits but it’s so hard to get a refill here. There are no drink station specifically designated to drinks like there is in Dallas. You have to stand in an hour long food line to get a drink. I’ve seen about two drink refill stations in the whole park. Also Dallas has fans that spray water on people to cook them down during summer, this one does have provide fans and it’s hotter here. I think they need to add fans and more drink stations since it’s soooo hot. There is a nice air conditioned inside food court though.
If you are deciding between Sea World and Fiesta Texas, consider this:Sea World is more for younger kids. Its for people who prefer shows over rides. Its more relaxed and family friendly.Fiesta Texas is more for thrill seekers. There are a ton of rides and great rides at that. This is more for people who love roller coasters. Yes there are kids rides but this place is where you will see mostly teens and adults. The water park is great, the main park is great. Rides, rides, rides.
We had a great time during the roller coaster rodeo especially with the behind the scenes fun. Exploring the lifts and taking pictures was amazing. My son wants to be a roller coaster designer/engineer so this was a great experience.
Put your comfortable shoes on for fright fest over all we had fun ..
Very exciting rides but the lines on a Sunday were ridiculous. Would definitely recommend the fast pass which allows you to skip the lines.
This is an impressive Six Flags location! I’ve been to a few others (although it has been a while) and none of them compare when it comes to the cleanliness of Fiesta Texas. The restrooms were immaculate every time I went in. I didn’t see any trash laying around either. The staff was friendly for the most part. The rides were fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only downside was the frequency of rides breaking down or ride closures. But even then, we had a blast and really can’t complain.
The new fireworks show is amazing the best in the last 10 years. If you like Rock and Roll you totally will love it and if you dont you will still love it... great presentation. Totally recomendable stay after 9:00 pm when firework
First time at this Six Flags. Had an absolute BALL!! Oh, kiddos loved it also. Will definitely come to this on versus Six Flags over Texas. Came during Fright Fest.
For the most part I had a amazing time. It was just tooooooo hot to be out there. After a few rides, some food, and some dipping dots I was ready to go. I wanted to ride more but everything is so spread out and had random entrances. In reality I was irritable because it was so hot I kept getting headaches. Dont go out here in 100 degree weather especially with kids. Its not too packed on Sundays but there was a line at most rides.. I should of wore my swim suit so I could of gone to the water park part here. Never stepped foot near it sadly.
My family and I had an amazing time. Just make sure you have enough money for drinks and food if youre going to be there for hours. Fridays were less crowded than Saturdays. I got sunburned and all.
Had a great time, wish more haunted attractions were included in the cost of admission.Park was very understaffed ( like everywhere) resulting in long lines. No ones fault but still lame.
Wait times are out of control. Too many roller coasters only run one train, and the staff take an extra long time with the belt checks and loading procedures. My guess is they need more staff, maybe some better incentives too for the staff they have. I grew up going to Six Flags Great America which is a much better standard to aspire to.
Love their haunted houses. My son said sixflag haunted houses are scary than the 13th floor 😳
Omg me and my Family luv 😍 this place there r so Many things to do other then the rides they have a water park for all ages AND games and lots of shows and lots of food stands plus my favorite part is the fact that you can get a season pass in payments and still get to Enjoy All the perks and Rides while u pay
We had a blast these last 3 days only gave 4 stars because there were no shows! Why? We love the shows very disappointed. The grand kids had a blast overall it was awesome
Amazing experience . Thrilling rides. Lots of choice in terms of rides. Family entertainment place for kids youngsters parents everyone can enjoy here. Best amusement park i can say I have visited so far. Will love to visit again as I was not able to finish all rides due to long que
We went Mothers Day weekend (we went that Friday) No lines at all we bought our tickets online for only $28.99 I think they were having a sale online. I havent been to Six Flags in over 20 years so I had no idea what to expect. Parking is about $27. No crowds when we went. The map is kind of confusing so I had to ask people working there where to go exactly but we still had fun. Its a theme park so Im not going to complain too much about the costs of food & drinks (we bought a bottle of Coke from vending machine was $6!!) We only tried the (Oreo) funnel cake. IT WAS GOOD! Nice soft and crispy and oh so chocolatey! We got there when the park opened and stayed until it closed. My kids are ages 4 and 8 and they had a blast!
My large family has a membership. We must have chose the busiest night of the year to visit because traffic was insane! Well worth the wait for the thrills and scares, though. They definitely do Halloween right. Great night overall, although it was jam-packed.
Excellent variety of attractions! Several excellent coasters to choose from, and multiple food and drink options always within sight. Very crowded, but still a very fun experience, would definitely go again. The new RMC coasters are both superb, and are endlessly re-rideable. The poltergeist coaster is closed for renovations, scheduled to reopen on September 2, 2021.
Lines took 4-5 hrs to get on a ride, was able to have family get on 1 ride . Was their from 2 till close and many rides were closed due to the lines of people. The price we paid was not worth the 1 ride!! no covid regulations in place, rude employees!!!
Great rides, great customer service. Loved the Halloween decorations and theme.
First time Ive been to this location. Great rides, games and the water park was fun. I was also surprised at how clean the amusement park was. Friendly staff too. Over all great experience with my family.
Currently season pass holders and visited Fright Fest 2021. I was highly disappointed as the haunted houses were not to par and most rides were not working. It was great getting out but rethinking our membership especially since we were charged during the pandemic while they were closed.I hope 2021 Holiday in the Park makes up or we will cancel the family memberships for 2022.
Drove 10 hours for my daughters birthday it was too busy.... Way too busy. Couldnt walk hardly through the park. Eventually got to ride TWO rides. Average line was 3.5 hours. This park needs a capacity limit less than tonights numbers, that was rediculous. I will never go back for fright fest again... Never even saw a costume the entire night because we were stuck in atrocious lines. Heres an idea six flags, put concession stands (or vending) in the middle of your popular ride lines or incorporate servers and give out diapers. Had high hopes tonight and came out super disappointed.
Very friendly and helpful workers! We went on a Monday so it wasn’t as busy in am, but did get the line pass. My girls we great full for it. Only a few rods were down but most were back up and going in no time. 2 days of fun, and they can’t wait to go back. Very friendly officers at gate! Thats a plus
Had a blast! My family was so stoked to get back to some fun since the pandemic hit and it was worth it. Bring comfortable footwear and some type of shade like an umbrella or hats cause summer time at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a real scorcher 🥵.
Fright Fest will be the last time I go. Took way too long even with the fast pass. 4 people cost close to $400. Unbelievable! Some houses did not even have workers to scare you. The ones that were there just stood there. Just a quick 1 min. maze in most of the houses. Was a time long ago when it was actually fun. Now just a waste. Tickets were overpriced and houses were overrated. Gonna spend my money just buying scary movies. Better outcome. Dont bother with the auto-generated reply to this review.
This is a great park and a great place to spend the day. Thanks to Covid the lines are short and the crowds are not bad. You won’t even need a fast pass. Most of all, remember to bring an umbrella if you’re gonna be standing around waiting for other people on the rides. If this review help leave a thumbs up.
Amazing rides, beautiful nature around, lots of food and drink options, souvenir stores.
I had fun however the experience left you wishing you were back in the times were people liked to wk and were happy....
Wow it is a pretty cool place to spend the day in! My fav one was spiderman if you want some speed wonder woman. I love all the water rides... totally worth it
This was my first time going to Fiesta Texas I went a few hours before they closed to ride some rides the Halloween fest was good fog every where made the total scene. The coasters I rode had so much g force they hurt where are the coasters that are a smooth ride with stomach drops I miss the coasters of yesteryear.Over all the park is nice and clean and worth a visit.
Not sure if it is because of the day we went (today on a sat) but the lines were absolutely horrendous. We arrived to the park at 2pm and decided to leave at 8 after experiencing a grand total of 2 rides. Yep. 2. That’s how long the lines were. It ruined the whole experience for us and I was super bummed after a 4 hour drive. Wasn’t worth staying any longer and risking COVID exposure for 10 seconds of fun and 6 hours of standing.
Had so much fun!! So many rides!! I felt like a kid all over again. Lines were not that long either until the afternoon.
Fun but they dint have a lot of shade in the lines and they are also long I recommended the flashpass!!
I had a beautiful time. So Cov-id ready, we were asked to keep our masks on throughout the park....for the most part everyone did. Felt safe, we were able to enjoy our selves and not worry about anything. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much I needed that.
Worst experience ever! Paid a pretty penny just to get in and wait in line for 3 hours to not even be able to get on the ride. Park was at full capacity and not enough workers. Felt bad for the workers, not one had a friendly smile. First and last time I will take my boys here. So sad to say worst experience ever. My boys wanted to see the Looney Tunes show and didnt even get to see that. I remember when my parents took us years ago we had an amazing time, things have changed so much. Dont know if the pandemic had anything to do with it but we just had a bad experience. We didnt even get to enjoy one ride. 😒
Going to Six Flags for the rides and SOME souvenirs is a fun experience. I will give it that. Being a theme park you expect a lot of people and waiting in lines. On the down side, make sure you eat before you go. Their food is horrible and extremely expensive. Even with the meal deal they have it is just not worth it. Its like eating rubber and the price you pay is more expensive than a nice restaurant.
Such a wonderful experience with me 5 year old son . Some rides we couldn’t get on but it was still such a blast! I recommend getting the drink refill and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN OTHER LINES THEY HAVE A REFILL STATION UP FRONT . They also only accept Card not cash.! Easy parking .!
Frightfest timeFun, not crowded. Wait time was 15-20 mins for rides.Follow me here and on Instagram.@outNabout210
It was fun and not chaotic at all. The lines for rides were short and the fright fest was pretty cool.
Highly recommend getting the season pass with the flash pass, and dining pass. The wait for the lines are a breeze and you make more than your money back on the food.
Amazing experience! Food and drinks are overpriced no doubt but that’s any amusement park or sports game, so it’s worth the memories! Art drawings, carnival games, roller coasters, stores, arcades, boardwalk, go karts, WATERPARK! Everything you need to have a wonderful time!
Ride wait times were way too long. Only got to ride 4 rides in 8 hours. The rides themselves were great. Food options were what youd expect, just pricy. Had some really great beer options though. Just a shame I was stuck in 2+ hour wait times at every ride. It seems to me the only way youll get to really experience this place right is if you pay extra for the flash pass to expedite the wait time, which is about $100 after general admission cost. Wish I wouldve known to get that before going...
Fiesta Texas is definitely being run down to the floor. Nothing is being cleaned. Park is completely dirty. Some snack bars are closed. Rides arent cleaned. Rides would break down frequently.
Absolutely amazing literally have to get a two-day pass for here one day was not enough we only got to do half of the park
Great park with incredible rides. The park was very clean and employees were polite. My only problem was that the rides were constantly breaking down. They were repaired quickly, and theyre were no lines the day I visited, but this would have been very frustrating if the park had been busy.
Bad. 90 minute lines to get in. 90 minutes lines for food. 2 hour line to get your fast pass? Not worth it at all. Any ride had a 1 to 3 hour wait.
It was great experience today visiting Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I was amazed to see COVID-19 safety precautions. Every one is wearing mask 😷 and disinfectant are everywhere. Everybody were respectful to each other. Rides are wonderful and realized they were pretty safe. Safety measures on each rides are really good. We spent about 4 hours and it was still not enough to experience all the rides and stations. I loved it and recommend everyone to visit and experience the thrilling rides at least once in your lifetime.
We had a Blast. Our First Vist Post Pandemic. Just a Food for thought please become a Member to save BIGTIME. Thank me Later.
Fun theme park to go to in San antonio,TX my family loved it also has a water park and it is enormous didnt realize how big it was was really hot when we went dress lightly it will be hot out and stay hydrated
A great place to spend a relaxing day. I have survived a dozen near death situations. Be aware, screaming doesnt bring any help. People guess that you scream out of joy as they do.
The Six Flags here is awesome we got to ride all the major roller coasters besides the Poltergeist it was down for maintenance. Our family of 11 had the best time ever at an amusement park the longest time we had to wait to get on a ride was 7 minutes long and got to ride the rides multiple times and we didnt purchase the fast pass
Hot early in the day, but you have to stay for the fireworks show. It was a perfect trifecta of fire, water, and rock and roll.
I really enjoyed this park of the franchise. So far this is my third park. We went from park opening to close on a Saturday..I have a diamond 💎Elite membership and it was my first time using it at this park. I would say the membership was definitely worth it for drinks and food.
For My First Time In SixFlags Was 💯I’ll Say No Doubt. It Didn’t Really Disappoint Was Looking Forward Into The Water Slides But They Was Closed. They Got Some Awesome Rides😳😈 For Kids, Grown Ups, & Families.8/10 🤷🏾♂️
Love it! Highly recommend getting a flash pass if you want to ride the most popular rides and really reduce your wait times!
Very impressed of the attractions and food selection. We have traveled to the Dallas and Oklahoma Six Flags. However, this one is our family favorite ❤💙♥. We will come back again!
Loved it. At first all rides were closed due to rain but they opened up and we had a blast. The only thing I didnt like was the water tubes they didnt have enough and line was super long
Membership 100% worth it! Consider this before going.Edit: Rip Totally Kickin Chicken. Best food spot in the park and its getting demolished. Hopefully the new food spot will have those wings on the menu.
I have been to at least 3 different six flags parks in my whole life and this one was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. There is busy, but this park is way too small for the amount of people they let in. 40+ minutes wait just for a to-go Johnny rockets. All water vending machines sold out too. My family and i drove 3 hours just to come here and ended up only being able to ride 2 rides. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement considering I’ve been a life long six flags fan.
Not my favorite theme park but, that may just be due to the fact that its a very accessible theme park. The tickets are cheap (for a theme park) so I have been there over 100 times. I enjoy the rides alot most recently the wonder woman has been a great experience. You can never go wrong with the iron rattler or poltergeist. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because lately, some of the rides have been down for maintenance. Although for the price you cant go wrong.
I hadnt been there in quite some time, but this trip there was as awesome as I remember it! Fiesta Texas is a whole lot of fun for the entire family. If I lived close, I would definitely get the season pass! They had fireworks, waterworks, and a light show that I remember as a kid. Their love shows were also amazing! We happened to catch The Majesty of Christmas and it was incredible. Their performers are incredibly talented as well! Definitely recommend!
We had fun here, but had to drop about $200+ per person to do so. Fast pass became a necessity if we wanted to get anything done and if you dont buy it in advance they up charge the heck out of it. The haunted houses were meh, so not sure fright night passes were worth it, oh yeah and there is a fast pass for those as well if you can afford it. We ended up leaving because of the lines for some of the haunted houses given the quality of the ones we saw. Coasters were pretty fun.
ITS SO AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, FAMILY ORIENTED, ETC....... AND I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK.....
Fun times! The place is kept very clean. The staff has all been very courteous and helpful. The rides are great and when youre there towards the end of the day, sometimes you can ride stuff over and over with no wait since it clears out!Worth the season passes/memberships if you are considering going a few times/or are local. AND BUY THE MEAL ADD ON package when purchasing your season passes/membership, because that price is NOT offered again and is very well worth it. Our meal plans paid for themselves on the first 1.5 days we used them! Food gets so expensive!Fireworks were fun. Im very happy that we bit the bullet and got memberships!
Came down from Houston to visit the theme park for the weekend 😊 family ❤️ vacation and all 🍾🥂 we all had a great time completely refreshed 😃 food, Family time, and making New friends is what this Six flags is all about until next time 💕😋🥨🌭🍔🍕🍭🍬🧊🥤
Disappointed with our experience. Due to weather when we arrived at 1 none of the games were on, there were so many lines, it was ridiculous. We left at 4:30 never got on a ride. They did however give me a rain check which they said could be used anytime, so I hope they honor that.
Great experience, nice fun for your all families. just enjoy !
