The tasting alone exceeded our expectations and we knew we would be in good hands using their services. They provided everything we could possibly need, created a beautiful display and delicious food that our guests raved about. Cristina was organized, hardworking and friendly. She took such good care of us before and during the event and again exceeded our expectations! Because of her wonderful service, the evening flowed seamlessly! We are grateful to her, Kelli and the entire staff! This was my first time using a catering service for a party at my home, and I did not know what I was missing! Will definitely utilize their services in the future!

From the very beginning of our interactions with Kelli at Catering by Design, we were blown away by the hospitality, responsiveness and professionalism. We had our food tasting and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was organized and of course, the food was SO delicious. Due to COVID, my husband and I decided to get married before our original wedding date and we canceled our large wedding. The Catering by Design staff were more than accommodating and understanding. During such a stressful time, I appreciated their willingness to do everything in their power to help us out. Their professionalism is really what sets them apart from any other vendor you could choose. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I highly recommend, they will take care of you on your big day!!

Catering by Design was simply amazing. Everything from the food to the staff. Kelli was our contact and was super responsive and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The food was so good! Some of our guests are still talking about how good the food was at our wedding. We also loved that they included a bartender with their services, so we didnt have to worry about finding one. We just had to provide the beer and wine. They also included full china and they cut and served our cake. They were pros! We were also very surprised at how reasonable the prices were. The price for what youre getting is really reasonable. Thank you Catering by Design for helping make our wedding day amazing!

Our December 2019 wedding was amazing. Our friends and family were not shy in telling us that this wedding had one of the best meals they have ever had at any wedding. It was a true hit and we are so thankful we chose Catering by Design.

Wow, Catering By Design did such a wonderful job at my daughters wedding. From the initial meeting with them to the final payment, they were on top of it! Everyone who worked the reception was very friendly and the person in charge was wonderful. We really enjoyed the menu we picked and the food tasted great. We received many compliments from guests.

We first chose Catering By Design for our wedding. It was an out door wedding in admittedly an inconvenient location for catering. Not only did they handle this in strides, they provided amazing food and service to boot. In fact that was one of the things guests kept raving about.I had a second experience with them by pure coincidence when they catered for the school where I work. Throughout the week of catering (it was a training summit) most of the comments about the other caterers were lukewarm to mildly positive at best. But one of the days was catered by Catering By Design, and people loved it. I must have heard a dozen times people independently complimenting the food.Not only did they deliver on great food and service once, but they didn’t disappoint a second time. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I *cannot* say enough great things about Catering by Design. (Thats coming from a family of foodies.) Everyone we worked with phenomenal, and service ran seamlessly on the day of the event. The food was exceptional - exactly the same from the tasting to the day-of. My parents exhausted all of the major caterers in the area, and none came close to Catering by Design with regard to food tastings. My husband and I were out-of-state, so my parents did the initial tasting. Catering by Design happily provided he and I another tasting, so we could sample and tweak the final menu. Perhaps MOST important - everyone prepared my husband and I that we wouldnt get a chance to eat on our wedding day. Catering by the Design saw to it that we tried everything from the cocktail hour and had a plate waiting for us when we sat down at the reception. I left my wedding full -- no togo box needed (but I know they would have provided one if we asked!)

Mendy, Ronnie, Jim and the gang at Catering by Design are AMAZING. I have been working with these folks for 5 years. They have TKOed anything I throw at them... Classy folks who can handle events... in the process have become my friends.

We have used Catering By Design for years for our staff holiday lunch, that the PTA provides. We have a limited budget and they have always worked with us to make it affordable. But the service is what really keeps me coming back. They make everything so easy! I could not ask for better service, they make my job so easy, which is so appreciated especially around the holidays with so much going on! Thank you!!!

Outstanding!!! I cant say enough great things about Catering by Design. I was looking for a caterer for a Branch Leaders Meeting that we were having in our corporate office here in Raleigh. I booked them for lunch on a Tuesday and Wednesday and I was also having them all out to dinner at my home on Tuesday night. I was so pleased with the first meal we received for lunch on Tuesday. We ordered barbecue and barbecue chicken and fixings with banana pudding for dessert. Everyone loved the entire meal! For the dinner at my house, we had roast beef, rotisserie chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and vegetables and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Again, it was a huge hit with everyone, in fact they were all asking what we were going to be having for lunch on Wednesday as they were going out our front door! I had ordered the Fajita Bar with cheesecake for the lunch on Wednesday. We have these meetings 3 or 4 times a year and they have ALL asked/insisted that we have Catering by Design provide all our future meals. Their prices are so very reasonable and the food is so delicious!!! We will be a regular customer!

Our wedding was wonderful.One thing you always hope for is delicious food for your guests. We had nearly 200 people and everyone loved it. The shrimp and grits were the big hit. But the service and the food was all wonderful!

I used Catering By Design a few weeks ago for my daughters Bat Mitzvah. I can not say enough wonderful things about Mendy, Chef James and their staff. All of them went above and beyond to make sure the was a success. The staff was so personable and seemed like they truly were enjoying themselves while working our event. We hired Catering by Design to cater our business Christmas party this year. I had never worked with a catering company before so this was a new experience for me. We had a party of about 20 being hosted by one of the employees. From day one, working with this company was so easy, friendly, and efficient. The server was absolutely wonderful and pleasant. The set up was gorgeous. And the food was phenomenal. I have had so many compliments from my employees on how delicious the food was and what a wonderful time they have. We used Catering by Design for our wedding, and they were PERFECT! The food was incredible, the service/communication was outstanding, AND it was really nice that you could rent everything through them (flatware, linens, champagne flutes... all that). It definitely worked well having an actual catering company do our wedding (rather than just a restaurant) because this really is their specialty, and they do an awesome job. Highly recommend!

We used Catering by Design for our wedding at Barclay Villa in Angier. Kelli is an absolute dream to work with! She is very responsive through email and phone calls. We went by several times to nail down the menu as well as pick out linens for all the tables and Kelli was always friendly and super helpful. She even came to the final walk through at the venue, which made a huge impression on me!The food was absolutely out of this world! We chose the BBQ and chicken when green beans and mac and cheese. It was all so good and we had so many guests come up to us both during the reception and afterwards, talking about how wonderful the food was, especially the mac and cheese!There is also a huge selection of linens, plates, silverware, napkins, etc... to choose from, so I would recommend using them for rentals as well as food! Ive also heard they do a great job with events other than weddings, as well! I will definitely be using them again!

My employer uses Catering By Design at least once a week. Being the healthy foodie I am, Ive found the entrees and sides to be flavorful and nutrionally balanced. Many restaurants and catering companies overwhelm the natural good flavors of fresh vegetables and salads by excessive amounts of cheese. CBD, really has sensible ingredients. I plan to use them for my own personal parties.

Catering By Design catered my wedding October 6, 2012. I booked them fairly early in the process of planning, and I knew right off the bat that I had chosen the right caterer. I was in contact with the owner, Greg Lewis, from the start. Any questions that I had, he answered promptly. He was one of the few vendors that I had, that responded quickly, and always answered every little question I had. As the day approached, I was put in contact with another employee, Jen. She was also amazing. I can honestly say that I love Catering By Design. I had NO PROBLEMS with them at all. We had to make changes to our menu, and I trusted them so much, that I didnt even feel the need to try the different food they put on my menu.THE FOOD! The food was BY FAR the BEST food! Every single person as my wedding loved EVERYTHING! My fiancee and I went to Hawaii on our honeymoon, and had pork at a luau. That pork had NOTHING on Catering By Design. We are already talking about going to their restaurant so that we can have more of their food.Be prepared though. They are pricey. But WELL WORTH IT! I cant say anything bad about them. I want some of their food right now.. :)
