I don’t usually post reviews but this cafe is one of the most authentic places in Cary. The splendid Avocado Smoothie with Espresso and the ALT sandwich was a combo to relish.

UGH! Their BLT is to die for! Terra Bonum makes their own mayonnaise for the BLT and the flavor is unforgettable. I usually get their fresh squeezed lemonade with either butterfly pea tea or hibiscus tea and it’s a perfect refresher! If you like lavender latte please try theirs because they use actual lavender flowers not the syrup!

WOW, what an experience! Anyone whos hunting for a cozy, modern, relaxing cafe - search no more. Today was my first time coming in, and I was blown away by the decor and ambiance of this incredible shop. Everything I saw was infused with sophisticated detail, and the place was immaculate. The owner was warm, inviting, and made me feel as if I was a special guest in her home.Now, as for the coffee - it was perfect, and I do not say that lightly. I got two drinks, and both of them were delicious. One of them was made with almond milk and sugar-free caramel, and let me tell you; it tasted like a regular, sugary latte loaded with the best ingredients. It was evident from the first sip that the products were of high quality, and the espresso shot itself was flawless. Perfect temperature too! The Chai Latte was no less perfect - Starbucks can go fly a kite.This is the kind of Cafe you can take your date to and not feel embarrassed. Its gorgeous, affordable, and offers top-quality.beverages/food. I will most definitely come again when Im in the area!

Little coffee shop and salad place with light fare.

A wonderful little shop with excellent food, an amazing staff, and are super health-conscious. Theres plenty of options for ordering remote and/or touchless, and even the cartoon cow on the wall has a mask. The place is clean, quick, and the food is delicious. The menu is a little eclectic, but ensures that theres always something new to try.Their name essentially translates to Goodness from the Earth, and they absolutely live up to it. Especially the Bonum part.(Pictured is the Berry Berry Soufflé Pancake, which takes a little more time to cook and is worth every second.)

This place is such a unique restaurant. Modern vibe with great food, tea and coffee. I would give more stars if I could. The owner went above and beyond in customer service. My mother had forgotten her purse and was running late to the Airport. The owner took her time to drive the purse to an intersection closer to the airport so my mother could catch her flight. This will be the place I eat at when flying into and out of RDU Airport.

Stopped in for a coffee on a whim and had a wonderful experience at Terra Bonum. Iced lattes were delicious, the service was wonderful, and the cafe is so cute. Will be going back regularly.

This place was absolutely amazing the 1st couple times I ate there but after that it has really gone down.. pretty disappointed because I really did like it ! Thought the one time it was because the owner was out of town but recently had an order again & it was sloppy & disgusting!

Stopped in on a whim. I LOVE this place! The Lavender Latte is wonderful. The Asian Chicken Salad with the house made ginger dressing is amazing! The atmosphere, like the owner, is warm and inviting. I am definitely looking forward to trying everything on the menu. I would HIGHLY recommend running (not walking) to Terra Bonum the next time you have a hankering for something unique, fresh, and delicious.

Excellent cappuccino. Friendly owner. Warm feel to the decor. The tables have little signs indicating whether they have been cleaned/sanitized, which is nice during this day and age.

Don’t sleep on this gem! Super cute interior, very nice professional service. We had the quinoa bowl and the Thai bowl and they were both delicious. Prepared fresh with good quality ingredients, good portion sizes, fair price. I was very impressed. We will be back. Thanks!

Have you ever been fortunate to find that second home restaurant? The place where the menus is small but always fresh and delicious, run by someone who feels like a friend, always remembering your order and name. This is mine. One review does not seem like near enough. I encourage everyone to visit and support this AMAZING local cafe!!!!! Not just once but at least once a week 👍

I went in there to get a coffee and left with a stomach full of Thai chicken salad! Loved it! Great people, simple yet effective layout, only downside is the piano wasnt in tune, oh well!

Wow…amazing, healthy, delicious…I had the Thai Bowl but it all looked good…not a huge menu but you can add proteins. If you work too much and need a healthy/delicious lunch…go here…wish I could eat this every day.

Great portion. I got the kalevacado. My first time here and didn’t know what to expect. If I read closely, I would’ve seen olives in the description. I did add chicken to it. It was excellent, slightly over salty, I would’ve squeezed some more lemon juice over it to cut the saltiness. I’ll return and create my own. I do recommend they have a menu listing ingredients to let customers know what they get to choose from when creating a bowl. Thanks.

This place is great for a quick healthy bite to eat. Their menu is focused but everything on it is well executed. The staff is super friendly too.

This is my new favorite spot to get a coffee! The owners and staff are friendly and make a great cup of coffee (as well as backed goods and meals!) On my first visit I was surprised by how good the coffee was: not to acidic with the right notes of nut, oils and minerals, and found out they roast the beans themselves. The shop has a bright and welcoming atmosphere with ample table space and and plenty of outlets. Precautions are in place for our COVID world, with cute little signs to signal if a spot has been cleaned, and there is plenty of hand sanitizer. Although it is pretty quiet now, I imagine people will soon be discovering my secret writing spot. As sad as I will be to share, this place deserves a crowd!

I recently moved to town a few minutes around the corner from this shop. Absolutely love the vibe and the coffee is DELICIOUS. The owner seems very kind. This will definitely be my local coffee shop!

The owner was awesome! Stopped in for a healthy lunch and was treated to a rare treat. Terra asked me if I was going for Keto, and I was. So she doctored my salad up...made me a bullet-proof coffee, and also gave me a shot of sea-water and coffee as a special treat.Going back the next time I am in the area!

First off, the Thai bowl was good. Now the not so good. They seem to be a bit disorganized. There were 3 employees working and there seemed to be some confusion between them. There were other people waiting when I got there. My total time there was probably about 15-20 minutes. Another thing I didnt like was their sanitation grade was not prominently displayed. Thats huge for me especially on the first visit. Im not saying it wasnt there, I just didnt see it and I looked around for it.

We went here after a run at umstead and had the best little experience. The coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had and the owner was beyond incredible!!! I’d highly recommend. Can’t wait to try it for lunch as well.....their menu looks delicious!!

Terra Bonum is an excellent place to enjoy a fresh and delicious meal. My favorite is the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl; I always add kale. What I love most about it is that the rice and chicken is nice and warm but the vegetables are raw, offering a nice contrast in texture plus maintaining the full nutritional value of the veggies.Today, my mother and I were offered the most luxurious drink... a LAVENDER latte. Any cafe that attempts this drink will typically use a syrup, but the owner/barrista did her due diligence to research how to make a fresh one and is absolutely delightful! I highly recommend this place.

My friend and I stopped by for an iced coffee while we waited for our reservation at a nearby restaurant—about 40 minutes. While there, I had an iced caramel macchiato and croissant, both of which were delicious.The batista tailored our coffees to suit our taste. When I’m not drinking an plain iced americano, I like the coffee to be a bit sweet. Aside from the coffee and croissant, it was a comfortable place to sip our drinks, chat, and relax a bit before our meal.I think the couple working there were the owners. If so, they have a nice business, and I hope to return to support it, especially when so many other coffee shops have their indoor seating closed.

Delicious salad! ❤️❤️❤️ This place knows how to make a salad tasty! In addition to salad, they also have bowls with rice, and wraps. The people here are friendly and answer any questions you have delightfully. Its also nice that they have fresh brewed iced tea. The Asian chicken salad comes with lots of sauce that makes it sumptuous.

A newcomer to Cary, I am thrilled to have found TB. I’m making my way through the menu and have loved everything! So fresh, so flavorful. Highly recommend. Wish I played the piano; they have one at the front of the shop - so cool!

The food here is outstanding! All the veggies are always fresh, and the dressings are handmade in house. The Thai peanut sauce is phenomenal, and it keeps me coming back once a week for lunch without fail!

This place is my absolute favorite. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. I’m NOT a salad person. I usually do a “create your own” wrap because I’m really not into greens.... so I just do rice, chicken, beans ..you get it..they have a ton of choices (the spicy chicken is SO good) The staff is beyond awesome. Robbie and Logan are the best wrappers in the game! Seriously just check this place out!

Met a friend for lunch this afternoon and we both agreed the food was great. Light and fresh with just the right amount of flavor. Id totally recommend as a great alternative to heavier meals. BTW, the owner (I think), Terra, was very pleasant to chat with.

Awesome salad that was huge on taste and flavor - even though it was one of the simple spinach salads. Super cool vibe and style. Fresh ingredients.

Amongst other standard salad ingredients, I ordered avocado, egg, and grilled chicken on my salad today, each for an additional charge. $2.50 for the chicken. Only got the avocado. If youre doing takeout, do yourself a favor and check it before you leave.Also, not nearly enough dressing for the salad ordered.

I loved the giardinos that they replaced. This is just as good. Ingredients were fresh and the portion was perfect. Glad to have a good salad option in the area. Local business not a franchise.

The service was above and beyond and the women working wasn’t phased by our “hangry” children. My wrap was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Overpriced for the contents. I got pad Thai salad with tofu. Wilted iceburg lettuce, shredded carrots, cucumbers, croutons (an odd addition for this flavor salad—seemed out of place and I didn’t eat them), and canned bean sprouts, peanuts, plus sliced, unflavored and raw firm tofu. The only positive of this salad was the dressing, which was flavorful and perfectly spicy. It tastes like the lettuce was pre-saturated with dressing instead of tossed in upon order, as the lettuce is quite soft and wilted. None of the ingredients in this salad warrant its price ($11.50). I ordered a bulgolgi salad for my fiancé, who liked the beef but nothing else (they were out of white rice and the brown rice had no flavor) 2 stars for the pad Thai salad dressing and the beef. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Cobb salad was so salty I couldnt even eat it.! What a waste of $12! Just a basic, salty overpriced salad. Dont think this place is worth the money

My co-worker stopped in for lunch here yesterday because we used to always stop at the salad place that was here before. This place has a lot of the same ingredients which I love but the atmosphere has totally changed and I loved that as well. It is more Cafè style now than restaurant. I like my salads to be fruity and there wasn’t a great dressing option to match that. Terra sprung into action and made me my very own strawberry vinegarette! It was tart and sweet, perfect for my salad. Great customer service.

This place really steps it up from the mundane! Where other places ramp up salads with heavy dressings and fried protiens, Terra Bonum offers a nice variety of health concious and hearty options. They have my vote.

So, this is clearly a new business -- their website doesnt function correctly and that shouldve been my first warning.I ordered the Haba-Habanero salad and can tell you this much: It is absolutely not worth $11. If there was dressing, I couldnt tell you what it was. The salad was mostly lettuce and very sparse on the other ingredients and included arbitrary ingredients like Frito and black tortilla chips (not listed on the menu description). This could be seriously problematic for people with food allergies as the menu is misleading.The lettuce and cheddar cheese were not great quality, the salad lacked basically any trace of flavor, and although the portion size was fairly large, I left feeling very dissatisfied. Great atmosphere and aesthetic but horribly generic and bland menu.Save your money and go elsewhere.
