This review is for the bakery - I am so bleeping impressed and thrilled with my experience here!!I ordered this cake online 24-hrs before the requested pick up time. It cost me $32, which I prepaid, and which I also feel is an incredibly reasonable price for the product I received. The staff was lovely, they answer the phone when you call, and the cake was ready on time.I would highly recommend this stores bakery, and I will be using them again for probably all cake orders from here on out.

I only used curbside pickup but I was pleased with the quality of the product I purchased. Bakery items were very high quality.

Heather and Shannon in the cake department were amazing at helping us coordinate a cake tasting, order, and delivery for our wedding day! The hardest part was deciding what flavor combos and decor to get! We were able to get exactly what we wanted since their cakes are super customizable, and they delivered it to our venue seamlessly so we didnt have to stress about driving a massive cake around ourselves! I know they were SWAMPED with orders when we came to put in our cake order but they still accommodated us with kindness, efficiency, and excitement about our big day. We got our grooms cake from them as well and they let us make a super custom peanut butter/cookies and cream combo that we were able to add the finishing touches to ourselves since I wanted to decorate it myself with some custom peg dolls of our dog and some chocolate paw prints and candies. I would highly recommend Publix if you need a wedding cake- it was absolutely DELICIOUS and beautiful!

Awesome place! The staff at Publix is always excellent and this location is no exception. They are ALWAYS willing to assist in any way possible. If there is some issue or concerns they are quick to resolve it.We have recent moved all of our medications and prescriptions over to Publix pharmacy due to the supremely high care and service we have received from everyone in the pharmacy. We have quite a few prescriptions that come from several doctors in our family and the staff here always makes sure that our prescriptions are filled on time each and every month. This includes about 20 total prescriptions that cover 5 people. They never miss a beat! We have tried so many other pharmacies and they always seem to make a mistake every month.Weve tried the rest, now we use the best!

Service is great. Products extremely over priced. Building and lot clean. Convenient location. Their prepared food section is really the only reason to chose it over other local stores. You can get the same items for better prices at other stores and still be happy with your over all experience.

The fried chicken was seasoned to perfection today! Thanks Publix.The peach nectarine Sparkling Ice was a surprise that gave me a taste of my childhood Nehi Peach soda.

Love the service had a few groceries and medicine to pic up for my girlfriend and they helped her and checked her out with ease. Love the service and quickness!

Publix is my favorite grocery store overall. Theres so much good in there but be careful. The deli, hot foods, prepped to cook, produce and frozen selection. Meatless options. So much variety. Quiche, soups, even banana pudding. See you soon.

Parking is a bit chaotic with no one following the right of way. Store was good, well stocked and staffed. A bit unsettling seeing multiple people without masks despite the mandate and managers even friendly chatting with them while not enforcing the mandate.

Decent produce. We tend to go to Harris teeters across the street for beef. What we get here is pretty tasteless and expensive. Not a bad store, just kind of mediocre.

Wedding cakes here are underrated. Their catering department is great!

Super Store! Like all Publix. The employees own the company, so they sparkle at taking you to whatever item in the store! There is always a smiling face! The pharmacist will know your name.Almost all of the seafood and meats are never frozen! Makes a big difference.Prices are much better than Harris Teeter, even Walmart or smelly Food Lion.. Wegman’s has similar prices, but they have fewer selections, and try to get help, forgetaboutit!Publix, like their logo is pleasure.

Waited for over 20 minutes to be acknowledged while the manager and 2 other employees walked around and looked at me as they passed each time. There was an older lady there that finally helped me. Another customer came up and was immediately asked if he needed help by the person who continually walked by me and said nothing. This has been the worst experience Ive had at this location.

Absolutely awful location. The self check out guy was breathing over my shoulder, came over without reason and took over my screen. Customer service guy was beyond rude to me. Will NEVER go back to this location and I would suggest the same for others. Much better Publix locations than this one.

They have the best customer service. They price of many of their groceries is expensive, but their meats, produce, and bakery are a good price. Their fried floured wings are super gross (I can smell and taste the chemicals), but the unfloured wings are really good.

From Florida and havent been to Publix in months. Decided to make the 40 min drive today to my nearest one and I love it as much as I remembered. Michele at the deli sandwich counter made me the 3 most beautiful pub subs a person could ask for. Made an alreadt great day damn near perfect!

This is the nicest Publix I’ve been to. I just moved to North Carolina and this was the nearest Publix near Mebane NC. The meal preps were what caught my eye! Will be shopping twice a month!

The pharmacy is the best! Kelsey and Tomi are fantastic. Publix actually cares about their customers, unlike a certain W competitor that claims to. I moved everything from them to Publix and I dont mind driving 15 min from Durham either. 5 stars for the pharmacy.5 stars for the deli too. They dont run and hide like the old Kroger one. They even take time to remember you even in a face mask.The rest of the store is nice and clean. The cashiers are friendly especially Karstan. Hes quick on the register and is a quick wit too. Love to see him at the check out.

Publix’s is pretty darn amazing! It is a little more expensive but I feel it’s worth it. My favorite products are easy to find because it’s so organized and neat. I love that they offer so many different options of produce, deli and bakery items. They carry the Pollyo brand which is my NY favorite for Ricotta and mozzarella. The cashier offered me a free grocery bag too! Whoop! Clearly I recommend this store but I won’t buy all my groceries here because I can save money on name brands at Walmart. That’s my 2 cents. You decide.

It was the 1st football game of the season so we stopped for beer, potato wedges, fried okra, and Publix Hot and Spicy fried chicken wings! Everything tasted so delicious and fresh! What an absolutely joyful shopping experience! Geoff, the meat department manger was profoundly friendly and informative. He told us crab legs and shrimp can be streamed. Ryan, whos awesome, in the meat department steamed them for us! The store is very organized, clean, and inviting. A wonderful young lady walked our groceries to the car and gave us coupons for the next visit. Ok, Chapel Hill and Durham.... were mourning Krogers, but Publix is most certainly a viable answer!

Awesome selection of food, there brand of bacon is great

Last time I was at a publix was in Orlando and its been years. I Remember it being bigger and there was a lot more variety. That being said.. For a local grocery store (if it was my neighborhood).. I would shop there, but Im a single guy.. For a family? Ehhh a bit on the pricey side. They do however sell skinless pork belly which Ill buy at any price... So Ill be back and buying whatever else I see compulsivey.

My very first visit to any Publix store was also my very last visit. When trying to purchase a Boost mobile phone card with a Publix gift card, I was told that I couldnt do so. Even though there are no signs posted anywhere in the store, I was told that this is a new store policy. So I questioned if the gift card is purchased with cash or a credit/debit card why isnt it possible to purchase a phone card with the same gift card??? I was unable to get an answer to this question even after I called the corporate office I was told that they couldnt advise me on why that was. Needless to say I will not be returning to Publix for any reason and I will not be referring anyone that I know to them as well. Go to Food Lion and save BIG!!!

Love the people here. They are always friendly and helpful and the customer is always right. We love Publix and this store stands up to their good name.

Very good store.. having moved from Florida, we still shop at publix. This store have a wonderful staff, veey clean store. I had a problem with bday cake once, but they handled it very well. Good customer service. Also love that they have increased the soup varieties, including our fav brocoli cheddar soup.

Very friendly staff and a really nice store. Plus the Publix brand is really good especially the frozen vegetables. They have the cart cleaning process down pat, making todays shopper more comfortable.

Publix is my favorite grocery store. I moved to NC last year from Atlanta GA and was delighted to find a Publix since they are really new to NC. Unfortunately this is the worst Publix Ive ever been to. They dont seem to follow the standards Publix lives by. Some of their employees are a bit rude, most are friendly. One thing I love about publix is their deli. Ive always appreciated the cleanliness of the employees and their willingness to go out of their way to assist you. NOT AT THIS PUBLIX!!! I cannot tell you how many times Ive gone to their deli and after standing there for minutes until they decide to notice me or I finally ask for help (normally they are cleaning something up or wiping something down) which is a real problem when you take my order and commence to getting my food items WITHOUT BOTHERING TO WASH YOUR HANDS FIRST! ARE YOU SERIOUS! And the kicker is, when I suggest that they please wash their hands first, they then get an attitude, like I did something wrong! This happens everytime I go to their deli and each person is different. One guy even took my product to the back, out of my sight, he said so that he could weigh it, when there were THREE clean scales right there in front of us! We are in the middle of a pandemic and racial discord. Im not eating anything this white man took to the back to do whatever with that I cant see after getting angry that I asked him to wash his hands. Im grateful that one of the other employees realized what happened and understood my concern and offered to do my order over.My biggest problem with all of this is that I have reported the lack of deli workers washing their hands at least 2 times to customer service and once to a manager. So imagine my shock when I come back only to deal with the same behavior again because apparently this hasnt been dealt with.I REALLY dont like this Publix, BUT I LOVE THE PUBLIX BRAND, and even though there are other grocery stores around, Im partial to publix. But you guys may need to get a memo to this particular store and management team to let them know the excellent spirit in which your customers are accustomed to from your brand.

The slogan is accurate as shopping is always a pleasure at Publix. The store is clean and someone is always walking around wiping down touch points. The employees are super nice and helpful and you can almost always find what you need including toilet tissue.

I want to qualify this review: it is only for the bakery department. More specifically, the custom cakes. Multiple times we have ordered a cake from this Publix, and multiple times it has been forgotten or the order was placed in the wrong stack.In one case we let them rush it only to be handed a sloppy mess that looked like it had been prepared by a 4th grader. Most recently, we just took our business elsewhere.I would advise visiting another location or, if you insist on purchasing a cake here, hound the department with phone calls to ensure you are not forgotten.

Last night i bought fried chicken and was satisfied. I do not have to go to other far away outlets for fried chicken. I liked the chicken and it was not very oily and was soft. But one thing was that it was too salty i could not eat more than 2. If you can have a low sodium option OR reduce the salt content by 50% that will be awesome.

Great store and staff

Went shopping at the Publix at Amberly Place. Several people were walking around without masks. A manager approached one and the customer said she had a medical exemption - which dont exist. The manager said OK and walked away. It would be nice if the management at this location had the guts to enforce store policy for the safety of their customers.

Impeccable service. The gentleman in produce helped me select the white corn I was purchasing. He was very friendly and welcoming.

Good to have a great store nearby. Customer service is amazing. People working here are always ready to help. They greet every customer walking in and walking out. I usually go to Whole Foods but these days I have been coming here because of quality of produce. Whole Foods carry more organic food but they lack variety. Publix on other hand has lot of options but little expensive when it comes to organic food. Whole Foods has its own line of organic stuff which I am guessing keeps cost down. I would still visit Publix to take advantage of variety. And it has amazing selection of cakes.

Came to this location for a wedding cake tasting and it was the best experience! Sandra was so helpful, thoughtful, and thorough and made the entire experience just perfect & was able to help us figure out the perfect cakes for us. The cakes are incredible tasting & they’re reasonable as well! The store is also so clean and beautiful. HIGHLY recommend, especially if you are in the market for a cake!

This was my first time shopping at this Publix and they have won over a loyal customer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I greatly appreciate the deli staff taking time to help me plan which platters would be best for my party. They were great to work with! Also the store was very clean! Very impressed!

I was greeted when I walked in

The Aprons segment of this publix was awesome at coordinating our wedding cake! We got married out of state, and had to coordinate through a local publix to get the cake delivered. Shannon and Heather were a pleasure to work with - definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a wedding cake!

Might be a good store if you can find it. Too new to be on GPS and store people cant give you a nearby building address to use to get within view. Just having cross streets doesnt help those of us totally unfamiliar with Cary and dependent on our GPS.

The staff were extremely helpful. When I asked where an item was she took me right to it. She even helped me put my things on the conveyor belt and she helped me put my groceries into my van. Every staff person I saw greeted me so graciously.

Brand new Store fast check out. Meat and seafood dept look amazing. Deli dept looks great . Very helpful employees. Though if your from the North they dont xary land of lakes cheese in the deli or mother goose liverwurst. Guess Ill keep looking.

Great selection, friendly staff.

Beware of large boxed lunches orders. We ordered a couple dozen for a work event only to discover upon delivery that no sub had lettuce or tomato, as clearly described as included on the webpage. The two cookies were not included either.On a second boxed lunch order, I ordered a wrap. It was comical how oversized the wrap. I ended up tearing off a lot of it and rebuilding it.

Bad experience in the deli department. I wanted a meat and cheese. They guy gave me a number and said go shop and it will be done by the time I get back. There was only 1 person in front of me and they were already getting help so I dont understand why I needed this but I grabbed my other items. I got back and 10 minutes later and it wasnt in the pick up spot. The guy who was working in my stuff was out giving samples to people. I waited another 10 minutes before he finished my order. Even then he was talking to other employees on his way to the pick up spot with my order. I went and got it from him instead. I would have rather waited for it cuz I think it would have got done faster.

Always friendly people seem to work at Publix! This is my favorite grocery in North Carolina. Love the BOGO specials on quality products.

Butcher service is great. They helped me cut pork picnic whole into ground pork, bone and skin as my requested. This will be my meat shopping place from now on.
