My personal experience with billing was my wife purchased a swad jaggery by thinking 6.99 as displayed on the shelves. But after we came home realized that we were charged 19.99 for the same with COVID label on the bottom no returns. I never saw jaggery with price of 19.99 in my last 5 years of USA stay. Please watch your bill after the shopping. So that you won’t be over charged.
Best for Indian groceries and veggies. People work there are nice and helpful.
This is a great place to shop -- to stock that home pantry. It offers a wide variety of food products offering South Asian ethnicity. With its friendly, helpful staff you will surely find all the available provisions you come to expect. Enjoy the cuisine.
Great selection of Indian foods. Clean and well presented store. The staff were awesome.. very helpful and friendly. Fresh produce.. really good quality and prices.
Pathetic shopping experience ever ! We bought Vadilal ice creme 1 litre tin last night, we got home and opened up tin and ice cream was all melted and soft, it’s not that ice cream melted due to our long drive home, we literally live 5 minutes drive from store. We decided to give call first thing in next morning and even miserable experience we had when we talked to lady who sounded super arrogant, rude and insensitive to our situation. She didn’t care what we told her and rudely denied to acknowledge our issue and said she can’t exchange it!!! Can you believe it?? It’s $10 tin of ice cream and what do you think we get those $$$ out of sky??? Don’t scam people and earn some customer care decency lady!! Don’t buy ice cream from this store ever!!!
Employees are great, observant. I was confused about something and it must have shown on my face because two employees offered to help. I come here to buy spices. I do wish there were a larger variety of fresh veggies but that isnt my main purpose for shipping here.
Was able to get everything I needed. Staff was very helpful. Also ended up getting some of the best incense I have ever smelled...Woods. it is wonderful
Amazing Indian grocery store. Too huge and you can get anything from fresh veggies to seasonal Indian items
Wondeful little supermarket, they had exactly what i needed and even opened up a register for me since the customer in front had to grab something else.
Been with Patels for years but this one in cary at E.Chatham st, NC carry old stocks of dals especially urad dal and also has bugs but denies to accept the fact. Very poor and bad customer service
Simply the best! A proper Indian groceriesVery well maintained and stocked.
Great abundance of spices ingredients, and products. Good prices. Love this place.
One of the big chain for Indian grocery. You have to be really careful when they bill your items. They tend to charge you extra or double charge the same item.. this had happened twice for me.. have complained to the manager about this the first time.. still the same happened to me on next visit.. so be careful
Excellent selection of fresh and packaged foods. Big selection. Just wish they offered fresh samosas! And hot chai.
Great grocery store. Price is a bit higher compared to another Indian store nearby, around the world
Good place to get indian groceries
You can find almost anything desi in this store.. amazing customer service 👏 keep it up
I only dropped off a Uber client here never shopped this store.
Good place for Indian groceries..u will get everything...but I cautioned buying drying fruits from here. They sell the worst quality dryfruits.
Its big, and a good place of choice for vegetarians. Ample options but the main plus is, since its huge, distancing is not a problem. We went there for puja items. But for puja items, the items are stocked at different shelves and difficult to find
Good store, lots of selection. Place is clean and well-stocked. Didnt have a lot of canned ingredients... just finished sauces.
This store was clean and well organized with a very good selection of authentic Indian foods, spices and ingredients.
Friendly staff and well organized. Opened new lanes as lines got busy. Prices were higher than expected.
Well-stocked, clearly organized and meets all my Indian food needs. Loads of spices at great prices, frozen instant foods and henna!!
So many product options that are generally used by international community at reasonable prices. The place is clean.
Great selection of Asian Indian products difficult to find elsewhere. Also well organized for the most part and fairly clean. Parking lot can be challenging as the entrance to the parking is on the side where the front of the store is located.
This place is amazing! The owners are so helpful and kind. They treat me like family every time I visit. This store dominates all its competition, no question!
Clean, nicely organized. Lots of spices and basics at great prices. Best of all, plenty of exotic items you wont find at a typical American grocery. Always a great experience.
Not much variety, a little different from the others Ive visited.
U can get each n everything, u want..good place to visit
Was going to pickup a delivery order and I asked about how long and the guy was cursing at me as if it was my fault that the order was not ready. Bad bad terrible customer service.
Amazing selection, one of the best indian grocery spots. Lovely prices, fresh, good hours. Reputable, clean. Support!
Not a very big store but covers many categories of Indian food
Nice qjd clean
A very good Indian Supermarket place. The place has a lot of Indian snacks all over the place all the different ones and the common ones in nice packages. Snacks and treats also come in pre-packaged groups as well. All the other basic food items rice and fresh fruits and vegetables are there. There is also Frozen stuff as well, there is a good assortment of different things for anybody who is looking
Go to place for Indians. Most of the Indian Vegetables, spices are available here. A good variety of Indian snacks and sweets are also there.
Nice, clean place for Asian groceries. You can find all Pakistani Halal food.
Not as good as NJ store definitely.
Very clean and they carry all the Indian groceries a family needs
I have been here several times. Every time I go, the less I like this place. Today, was the boiling point. I stood in line just to ask the cashier a question regarding a product I was told they had when I called before heading to the store. She basically blew me off and told me, I dont have time for this, we are busy.Eventually, I asked the produce staff who was very helpful.I know people have bad days but its not possible that every time the same cashier has a bad day when I go to the store.
Very nice store and the staff was friendly. Was able to find what I needed plus more.
Purchase half papaya from this afternoon, placed on my counter to eat for later only to come in my kitchen to a spoiled smell. The unwrapped papaya smelled horrible. I contacted the store, spoke with someone who says papaya have that smell. I said I am aware of spoiled fruit. She continued that thats the way the fruit smells. I would rather loose $1.29 then be sick. I understand we are in a pandemic but to sell spoiled food is horrible.
Where you can get your desi essentials.
Best Indian GroceryVery wide range of products.
Very well stocked Indian grocery
Really cool place. Staff was very helpful. Will be back
The store is great but the staff sometimes acts rudely with non Indian customers
Convenient place to get Indian groceries
Clean and well organized Indian store in the area..wide selection of spices and other grocery items.
I really liked the store! The variety of the goods is great and you can find what you want from an Indian store!
Patel Brothers is always my go to Desi grocery store. Hit or miss for Thumbs up would be my only knock.
Fresh produce. Good prices. Lots of options
I found a tea strainer that exactly I was looking for i.e. Indian style. It was bit expensive but ok. In general most of the Indian stuffs are available.
All the employees are very cordial, they help you find your wanted items politely, prices are somewht high bcz these things are imported from India, Pakistan and some other countries may be.Overall, it was a good exp of shopping here.
Good store . Friendly staff
Excellent shop for Indian grocery
Lacks customer service.. would not recommend
Everything an Indian grocery should be. My new favorite shop!
One of the best Indian grocery store in triangle area
Great location and variety of Indian spices, foods, produce, snacks, etc.
If you live near, it should be your place for Indian groceries.
There are many Indian grocers in Cary/Morrisville but this one is probably the biggest. Its also the least chaotic. In many of these stores the aisles are cluttered and have stacks of product in whatever free space is available. Much like one would find in a store in Bharat. In this store there is a big range of offerings, the store is clean but most impressive they have the checkouts manned. Usually in these stores there is one checkout staffed part-time Unfortunately if you are looking for something in particular no one is interested in helping you but thats true of all these stores. This particular store is very busy which tells you how much better it is than the competition.
Love shopping there
Overall good experience. Some items are overpriced.
Clean, well maintained and well equipped with everything you need for all your Indian grocery needs...
Clean, good variety and great customer service. Very, very nice people.
Awesome selection of my favorite Indian dishes.
Love this place. My most favorite place to buy Indian items. Great workers and customer service. Outstanding work from a worker named Vijaya. But cant seem to find her now a days. But still the store is great place, I even signed up for a cheap phone service to call my family members around the world. Keep going Patel Brothers you are doing great.
I came across this store through an Ad in Saathee magazine. Its an OK place to buy Indian groceries. However, the new Ad in Saathee doesnt have the parking map, which is very disappointing. So, Im putting it up here so people dont get lost in the parking lot.I look forward to the interior map with colorful arrows. I hope interior arrows will not be red, so as not to confuse people into thinking they are inside when they are really outside, or vice versa.I also appreciate their use of neutral disinfectants to sanitize. I am sure that the unbiased neutral disinfectant will sanitize without discrimination.
Prices and variety of products in this store is good as compared to other Indian stores like spices Hut and suvidha. Staff is also good and helpful
All time great indian products available. Although not all possible indian product you will get there. Vegetables and snacks are good quality.Update as of aug 2021: Thought of posting some new comments n highlight the things which missed to mention earlier, frozen food section with ready to eat products, some ayurvedic products like himalaya etc., Seasonal mangoes Also some indian utensils added to the store..
Great selection and prices. Bright and clean! Very well organized!
Nice place for indian groceries and vegetables 👍👍
They are at par with their brand name.Very clean, very spacious amazing variety of items. They have done amazing job in keeping social distance for billing.Billing counters are very fast and they are also offering checked out items in empty boxes (like costco), which is very easy to carry.
Great selection and prices. Well organized. Parking not the best, especially when they are busy.
I always prefer this store compared to other available Indian Stores. Well maintained, organized store where each and everything is available for one Indian requires. One can easily find what they want. Lots of varieties available for various items. Fresh vegetables are always a good to take.
One of the best Indian grocery store in triangle area. The store is bigger than most of the other indian stores, with a good collection of indian goods.
I love going to Patel Brothers for bulk spices, beans and fresh vegetables!! They have lots of frozen foods and fresh made sweets too!!
Its okay, little pricey and limited supplies. But we get the basic things we need.
The best place to shop for Indian groceries in the triangle area!! They have everything related to Indian food. Their cashiers are super fast, the employees are helpful in finding stuff, and the place has been very diligent in the care that should be taken during Covid times..
Good place to buy desi food they have a big selection
Excellent people. Quick checkout unlike Around The World.
Clean neat place. Fresh produce. Well stocked up. Neatly organised. Courteous and helpful staff. Affordable.
Lots of variety of tea and spices. Excited to cook with stuff I got there.
Great selection. They have fruits and veg, giant bags if rice, ample frozen food options.
So good, every Indians favorite banya shop. You will find everything youll dream off from india. You will also find Farsan here. Due to covid the kinds of Farsan is less but still there. They have the best kochories. So ummmmmm
As someone who is constantly trying to make my moms amazing Pakistani recipes, this is the ultimate grocery store! The selection of food is wide and deep. When my parents come here, they always delight in finding they havent seen before or havent had in decades. The prices are also excellent. The produce section is limited to items used mainly in South Asian cooking, which means the section is small but also has things you wont find in other places. The produce prices are unbeatable...50 cents for a giant bunch of cilantro! $1 for a bunch of mint! Roma tomatoes for 99 cents! Dont go anywhere else for these things! Most importantly, the store is always neat and clean and it never smells bad...if youve ever been to a smelly international grocery store, you know what Im talking about. One note of caution...the parking lot is a little tight, especially considering that most desis drive mini-van, so just be careful.
I mean...we shop here regularly...so nothing is going to change. The reason Im writing this review is to request more covid restrictions in place. The aisles with packeted items are IMPOSSIBLE to maneuvor around because there simply isnt enough space. Yet there is a lot of space around where the fresh veggies are kept??? It seems a very strange interior arrangement. Either limit the number of ppl in the store(there is no one at the doors for this) or strictly regulate traffic.
Very well organized Indian grocery store. It is a pleasure shopping there... aisles & aisles of snacks of every type... frozen ones too.Their vegetable selection is also very good and fresh.I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Indian grocery store.
Nice place to shop Indian groceries. Neat and organized.
Its ok place. Needs better parking facility.
WILL NEVER GO TO THE STORE FOR THE WAY THEY TREATED AND DISRESPECTED MY HUSBAND TODAY INFRONT OF EVERYONE. MY HUSBAND HELPED AN ELDERLY COUPLE AND THE WORKERS AND THE SON OF THE STORE OWNER DISRESPECTED MY HUSBAND & ASKED HIM TO GET OUT OF THE STORE WITHOUT KNOWING THE WHOLE SITUATION. ALSO WILL BE SENDING YOU A LEGAL NOTICE FOR SELLING EXPIRED PRODUCTS. NEVER NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. IF YOU WANNA BE TREATED WELL GO TO OTHER GROCERY STORES WHERE THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS AND DONT TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED. PATEL BROS DO NOT CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS COZ THEY THINK IT DOESNT MATTER TO LOSE ONE CUSTOMER BUT THEYRE FORGETTING THAT ONE REVIEW CAN MAKE U LOSE AN ENTIRE BUSINESS.
A-z for Indian grocery.
