I consider this a public service announcement. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to have to get a haircut that is this horrible! When calling to complain I was told that I could let the stylist fix it.😳 Or I could be refunded. $65.00 doesn’t begin to compensate for the stress, time it took to grow out a head of curly hair, time and money it took to find someone to try to fix it, and the huge loss of self esteem lost from this atrocious cut. Julia was our stylist and was asked ahead of time if she could cut a 3a type curly hair. Needless to say she was not honest when she said she could. Don’t walk away from this salon……… RUN!

I saw Sam for a trim, and she took amazing care of my hair.She was very sweet. I dont talk much and can get anxious being pried to interact/having the person cutting my hair distracted, and she didnt seem to mind being in the zone. Super-appreciated!They got me in same-day, and were patient getting my layers where I liked them.

I went in to possibly have an all over color done. I was tired of showing people highlites and it never looking good when they got done. Sam suggested some colors for me and did a partial, I cant thank her enough for the amazing job she did on my hair, it turned out gorgeous! She was very friendly and nice. I highly recommend her to anyone and will be going to her from now on. Thank you again Sam!

I love going to this store, but I have to say, I needed something last minute and knew exactly what I needed. Just in and out real quick, I showed up 15min to closing time, but the doors were already locked and I was just completely ignored by the workers inside. It just bummed me out because I drove 30min from outside of town to get that product.

Horrible customer service. Had issues with a package being delivered to an incorrect address, instead of offering a solution to help, they told me it was my fault and nothing could be done. Its disappointing.

Dont you dare turn down their rewards points at checkout.

Although the hair cut i received here was truly amazing, the customer service is dreadful. On two occasions I have booked an appointment but when i arrived the person at the computer couldn’t find my name in the system. So i was told i had an appointment but who ever put it in the system on both occasions the one that made the appointment didn’t get it in correctly.The first time they just cut my hair, and it was an amazing haircut.Today however the ladies had nothing to say expect, your name isn’t in our system. No apology, no let’s reschedule, just your name isn’t in our system. I left angry, and I won’t be returning. Ulta, no matter how great the product, if the service doesn’t exist then you and your company failed.

Love going to this place but prefer the one in Rapid City, Casper is quite small and doesnt offer as much. I buy Proactive products but these guys dont carry what I use so I head to the Casper Mall and go to the Proactive vending machine.

I went in for a first time hair color. I was very nervous. Laura absolutely made it the best experience for me. She just pampered me! My color came out beyond what I hoped. I will definitely be a return customer and will be taking my daughters there, as well.

Based on this experience, typical smiling staff and they do their best to be helpful. New catalog products couldnt be found which I find to be the norm. I actually prefer to order online so I can actually find what Im looking for.

I read the other reviews and feel bad for those customers whove felt they were treated poorly. No one wants to be treated like that.I personally have never felt stalked or watched at this store and Im a semi-frequent shopper. In fact, Ive often wondered if they even care that Im trying dozens of products and moving the trial/sample items from their shelf locations to the mirrored seating areas to play with them. Ive even taken samples from the back of the store up to the front windows to get a good view of them in natural light. Ive always received help when needed and have been left alone when Ive told them that Im just looking. I really enjoy shopping here and feel like a kid in a candy store -- I can shop freely without feeling like Im being secretly watched.My only complaints are with the product range and available samples. I wish Ulta carried brands like Nars and some of the other lines that are available at Sephora. Also, the staff needs to do a better job of making sure samples are replenished. Sometimes there are no samples to try or the samples are a complete mess, which makes it difficult to make a decision. Other than that, this store gets a thumbs-up from me!

I love this store! They have a good selection of high end makeup and hair care brands along with drug store brands.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I got a haircut here once that I really liked. The only thing I dislike about this place is the staff have a tendency to follow you around and hover. They must have a shoplifting problem.The rewards program is great. I usually save my points up and use them for Christmas presents. The points can be used like cash in store.

After avoiding a hair cut out of fear of it being messed up again (after a run of bad experiences) I finally came in to ultra for a haircut to have it fixed!! My hair looked really choppy, had uneven pieces and just overall looked bad!! Kellie fixed it and did an amazing job. She took her time and she even got a second opinion to make sure what she was doing would be good for me! You can tell she honestly cares about doing a good job!! She was very kind and pleasant to be around and it all around was a good experience! My hair cut turned out beautiful!! It looks blended, even, and healthy and she hardly took off any hair to fix it and layer it!!

I love ULTA. sometimes Im an indecisive person when it comes to makeup and trying new things. But the ladies are always nice and make me feel comfortable and show me exactly what Im looking for.

Very high end but it was cool and very handy to have options of the ulta brand or name brand.

In all seriousness the staff here are all cool and very helpfull. They know this field well and can help alot. Worst salon experience ever. I strongly suggest to not choose hair stylist Kali at ULTA, Casper. My appointment time was at 5:30PM Saturday, which was agreed after she offered the time. However, she spend more than 30 mins complaining about it is overtime. I had the total blonde service which is hair bleaching. She threw my hair all over my face while doing it which results I got bleaching on my eyelids, cheeks, ears, neck, and LIPS! She did cuss and run to clean herself when she got bleach on her black pants but not care about the bleach on my face at all. And when it comes down to get my hair washed off, she did not even touch my neck and my ears. I had to jump right into the shower and wash off a thick layer of dried bleach paste. By the end, my hair turned out super dry from the bleach which I expected. HOWEVER, she said,” does your husband even know you are here?” after pointed out how bad quality my hair is. That just hurt my feelings so so bad. Besides the very rough and unprofessional salon experience, she is also very disrespectful and rude. I will for sure not to go back there again, at least not to make appointment with her anymore.

I Love the Ulta store I always have to go when ever Im in town. I went in to the Casper Wy store and usually when I go in there I have several people ask me if I need help with anything and usually I dont but this day in paticular I did. NOT ONE person asked me if I needed help and they were not even busy. I was shocked the clerks were standing around talking about the bare minerals sale they were having. When I checked out they usually ask me if anyone helped me today they did not ask me. The clerk that checked me out never looked at me one time just rang my stuff up and sent me on my way. I never do reviews but Ive been in customer service for 35 years and that was the worst customer service I have ever seen. I will go back there because I love the store. But that was a total shame.

Great place for hair care.

I was so happy when I learned we were getting an ultra. They have great products and a clean store but everytime I go in there I feel harassed, not only do they not stop asking if you need help every 2 minutes, but obviously follow you around watching you. I find it very judgemental and uncomfortable.

Lots of make up and stuff. The girlfriend seems to like it. I mostly make comments about all the models on the wall and what the heck prebiotix make up means.
