Such a fun, neat place with amazing signature drinks!

Just in Casper for the weekend and was recommended to try Backwards Distilling and definitely have no regrets! Matt was fantastic and really helpful with drink recommendations to try. The atmosphere was unique and something I didnt expect to find in Casper. Will for sure be back again on the next trip!

Came in expecting a simple bar or brewery, but instead walked into a refined and impressive spirits establishment. At first I thought I was out of my element, being a simple tradie that just drinks beer and neat whiskey/bourbon, but I was put at ease by the staff and was explained to about their service. I ended up getting an old fashioned to get things going, which was quite good, and then I ended up expanding my horizons and getting a sour mixed with various fruits and an egg white. No Im not joking, yes Im serious, no I wasnt hammered. It was surprisingly great. Matt was my bartender, and was a great person to be served from. Overall it was a great establishment, good atmosphere and a nice way to try new things.

The best cocktails in the city, county, and quite possibly the entire state. These folks know what they’re doing and are very dedicated to their craft. AND, they are dedicated to your health and safety, and that of their staff.In a normal world they have normal business hours. During a health crisis, they compromise their hours for everyone’s safety. They are thoughtful in their decision to do so and offer a clear and easy reservation system. This allows them to remain open for patrons to enjoy a wide array of cocktails while controlling crowds, since they are wildly popular. It ensures that you as a customer get the best service and go home safe and healthy. AND, they make it fun with a speakeasy environment with a constantly rotating menu of creative and fun cocktails.A perfect way to start or end your evening on Fridays and Saturdays! I very much appreciate a little taste of normalcy and playfulness in an otherwise stressful year. Backwards Distilling offers such a unique and amazing experience! The ambiance of their tasting room is unique and fun, while still feeling classy and intimate. And the drinks are always fantastic!! All made with their amazing spirits and hand crafted ingredients. Its a must visit!

The Pollock family and their employees are so magnanimous in the way they care for their clientele and the statewide community. They went above the call of duty in their pragmatic approach to combating the pandemic health crisis by getting fda approved to manufacture hand sanitizer and distribution at no cost to those who needed it most.The quirky atmosphere and unique drink menu in their tasting room is so intriguing youll be sure to want to visit again and again. I would give them a 10⭐ review if it was possible.

Excellent drinks, good service, and great ambiance.

First time going and the customers service was so rude. Put my wife and I at a small tiny table that really we could do nothing at. Asked to be seated some were else and was treated rudely. Was told the other tables were reserved when I made reservation also. First time and only time. The worst. Plus nothing special inside. For a speak easy there can be so much more to it. Thanks for destroying my date night.

This place is a must go everytime Im in Casper. Hands down the best mixed drinks Ive ever had. The bartenders here are passionate about their craft and can answer any questions you have. Not sure how I feel about the new location. The previous location felt more cozy like a low-key speakeasy. Regardless, its great to see them with this much business!

Locally distilled from ingredients sourced from Casper farmers, the owners are dedicated to sustaining community and encouraging drinking outside the box. I plan to come back the next time in town!

Their drinks are so amazing! We went in on a busy Friday night and even though the place was packed - the staff was all super friendly and fun. Great customer service! They were also recently voted one of the best businesses of the interstate.

I’ve been going here since 2017 during work trips before they moved to downtown Casper. This establishment has been always so welcoming and friendly. The drinks are outstanding with the home grown spirits.

WOW! Such a cool place to check out on a sunday afternoon! Having a place that you can hang out off thw beaten path or main street is so important! Would recommend a must stop shop for some sunday funday activities!

The best small-batch distillery in the USA. They are mindful of their sourcing, study their craft constantly, are community-minded and involved. A family-owned and managed business and they are some of the NICEST people you will ever meet. They have a tasting room in the heart of downtown Casper, Wyoming, and the environment is always warm and welcoming. They teach great classes too! If you ever get a chance to be in Casper and can only stop one place--if you are a cocktail afficianado--MAKE IT BACKWARDS!!

Great place for truly unique and very tasty cocktails. Friendly mixologists and a nice vibe. And you can walk out with one of their great distilled spirits, we got a cinnamon moonshine! A Casper must-visit.

I am a writer and lost for words. One of the nicest places I have ever been in Casper Wyoming.The owners are extremely friendly and I had the best gin I have ever had. Friendly people great servers and a place to meet beautiful souls.It is an absolute go to, top shelf in every way!I will be back tomorrow!

Had the Greatest Showman and hubby had a straight up old fashioned! Loved the atmosphere and the beautiful building! Staff was great as well. Definitely recommend this place!

We took the tour and it was excellent! We enjoyed hearing about their start and the process of creating these wonderful spirits. After the tour we tried some of their signature drinks in the lounge area. We purchased nine bottles of rum, vodka, and gin and have really enjoyed them. This is a must see stop when you visit Casper.

An incredible menu, knowledgeable (and friendly) staff, and unique decor, this place has it all. Allow plenty of time to work your way through the menu and enjoy each drink. Dont rush. They also win bonus points for having one of the best business cards Ive seen. Backwards has been permanently added to my short list of the best places off the beaten path. Dont pass through Casper without stopping by.

Stumbled on this cozy bar hidden in the heart of Casper like an old speak easy. Excellent hand crafted drinks and inviting staff with a cozy atmosphere. This is a must try!

This is one of Caspers hidden gems. Its tucked away a little outside of town but well worth the trip! Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and has amazing drinks! Its a great place to bring visiting friends and family from out of town and show them what Casper has to offer.

I travel all over the US and outside. Backwards is one of the gems of Casper wyoming. The spirits are of a super high quality and taste. The big manufacturers could learn something here. The actual tasting room is fun playful and staffed by excellent people who know their stuff. To top it all off Amber and Mallory make every guest feel at home. The menu is better than cocktail bars in major cities. Amber is an artisan. Must for all....

This distillery has won awards for their locally made rum, vodka, moonshine, and gin. They serve incredible cocktails. The atmosphere is very original for an establishment in WY! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their drinks.
