I recently placed an order with Kellyco. I wanted the SP24 coil. As I was looking on their site, I found they were offering a great bundle at a great price of a new machine with both the stock and the SP24 coil and other items. It would have been foolish to not buy that versus just the coil. I placed my order and received confirmation. Package arrived. Not the bundle I ordered. Seems that bundle was no longer available. I contacted Kellyco. Yep, it should have not been on the site. But...their response. We will make it right. They sent me every item that should have been in the bundle and owned the mistake. This is why you always do business with a solid company run by good people that care about you. Well done and thank you.

Currently have a Garret sea hunter ii. Went to Kellyco for a sand scoop and was quickly educated that the detector we currently have is best used for underwater. As a majority of our detecting will be done on land, Shelby was very informative and professional about pointing out what options were available with each unit as their pros and cons for different conditions. Shelby was not the typical pushy sales representative, but she was more of a friendly and educational representative. Could not speak for the rest of the staff as they were doing their own thing and we did not have interaction with them. With Shelbys assistance, we decided to get a minelab equinox 600 and sand scoop. Upon outgrowing this detector, we will return to Kellyco to make our next purchase of a upgraded detector as well as this will be our first stop for any further accessories. My brother and I came from Texas and where in the area and wanted to see this place. I was expecting the run of the mill detector store. I was wrong. VERY nice place with a huge selection of brands and models from whites to mine lab to Garrett and many others. To top it off, they have a great little museum of artifacts. Prices seemed pretty good. Highly recommend if youre in the area.

I had the pleasure to meet three of the stores staff and was afforded the pleasure of Katie sell me a Equinox 600 package deal. The ladies were very busy with a lot of phone orders but at no time did i feel i was ignored. One suggestion would be to better identify your store in the big commercial building you sell from. I drive Two hours from the west side of Florida and arrived and had a bit of time trying to locate the stores door. Not complaining just offering a suggestion. Again thanks to fantastic team and my favorite Katie. Love the new machine.

I purchased a new Garrett Apex, and when available, they shipped promptly. The machine ended up being defective, however since I just got it, I wanted to make an exchange for another. KellyCo was of no service and would not help me. They said I needed to contact Garrett. I asked about their 30 day no hassel returns, and they said that doesnt work for defective products and there was nothing they would do. I feel their advertising and customer satisfaction is misleading. I wont be buying from them again. Garrett, however took charge and made me happy.

I purchased a Minelab Equinox 600 with a group of accessories at a great price from Kellyco and received everything as promised in excellent condition and in record time. My experience was pleasant and professional and I personally know of a great number of people who rely on Kellyco Metal Detectors for their equipment and accessories.

The showroom is a fascinating place to visit with all the historical treasures on display. Much better than a lit of museums. And the associates are very knowledgeable on the various detectors...ready to get the right one for the job at hand. Stevie Ray was an exceptional help. A must place to go.

Bad experience call to buy my metal detector a few times never answer, live chat took almost a day to answers my questions, drove 1+ hours to get there because I called the day before if they wore going to be open they said yes the voice mail said they will be open and here in Google said they will be there and they were not, they did not update that they will not have the store open. It always amperes to be open, you should specify that only online shopping. Drove another hour to tampa and got everything i needed.

Truly an amazing place! I honestly didnt even know that this place existed, but Im REALLY glad that I do now. Purchasing a metal detector is not easy for a novice. You really need to do your homework and research. The staff was excellent. They were patient, took their time, thoroughly answered my questions and even covered areas that I never even had thought about. Plus their showroom was really cool. My advice is this: do NOT buy a metal detector without first talking to these folks!! I highly recommend them.

I read through some of the negative reviews and if you read them the reasoning is pretty petty. Sometimes stores are closed, sometimes you have to pay some shipping, sometimes you cant trade things into retail stores. In this day and age the fact you can find a showroom for something as niche as this is amazing and should be supported. Now onto my experience. I am new to metal detecting and I am pursuing it because my wife has a strong interest. I called to see if they were open before driving a couple hours to visit them. (day one stuff folks!!) In general before I make a trip I do some planning. I couldnt have been happier to make the trip. When I first entered the business with my wife I noticed 2 ladies at their desk who greeted us with a great smile and offered help if we needed anything. They didnt try and hard sell us a shovel we didnt need of recommend 3 different detectors for any circumstances we might encounter across the world. Instead we were asked what our intentions were with the metal detector and then guided towards the models that would work well for us. In this case a Garrett AT Max and a Minelab EQUINOX 800. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and I never felt like a burden with any questions. This is the type of service I dont mind paying for. It was worth the drive and and I cant wait to go back to share some of my newbie stories and get more gear as my needs grow. My saleslady was Leilani and she is awesome!!

I was looking for the best price on a professional grade detector. There are a lot of low end detectors everywhere, but its much harder to find real professional grade equipment. This is defiantly the place to do, and they work on teaching you what you need to know. Most stores just ship out stuff, but if you call them they will help narrow out what you need for your purposes and any accessories that I may want or require. I was really happy with them.

I was going to purchase online, only to see my area code in one of their phone numbers. When looking for their location on Google Maps I checked out these reviews. Very negative. Made me think twice. So my wife and I drive over to the store and find the staff very helpful. Blake did a great job of taking us out front and letting us try the equipment. He taught us the basics and was not only patient and informative, he was also entertaining and a great salesman. We purchased two detectors and some misc. stuff and have not regretted it. We bought the Garrett pinpointer, it is worth the extra money over the one they give you in the package. Anyway, took these home and found my lost wedding ring in less than 15 minutes in our large back yard. Looking forward to some light Treasure hunting. I bought a Garrett detector quite some time ago. I didnt work properly and it took me some time to figure that out, being new to the hobby. They used to take trade-ins, not anymore. Tried to trade-in a detector I bought originally from them. I used it only once or twice and is still in like new condition but they would not even consider it.

Went there to buy a childrens metal detector waited over an hour and finally walked out. Seems like a great place but it literally took the sales guys there an hour to write up one order. Then when it was almost done the guys were walking out the door they had more questions. Easier to go online and buy it.

I call down to kellyco to see if the show room and sale would be openon Dec 29/18 that I was come from Canada for vac.look at maybe trading up on a new detector. and she inform me that theshow room is close now and they are only doing on line sale ..I guess if i cant try it out first. then they lost a sale.you would think they would have marked it on the web site that it was closed...

I tried to place an order online and noticed they had two promotions for free shipping. One was free shipping with purchase over $99, which mine was, and they also had a coupon code for free shipping. I tried several times but could never get the cart to take off the shipping costs, even after it showed coupon code applied.I decided to call the next morning and just order by phone. I called just before 9:00am. I sat on hold for 7-10 minutes. I get that they are busy on Monday mornings and had no problem waiting my turn. Someone then answered and told me they were busy with calls and asked for my name and number and they would have someone call me back. I gave it to them thinking I would be placed in some sort of que and be called back within the hour. Six hours later someone finally calls back!!Well, by that time I had already placed my order with another metal detector supply company, my items had been accepted by the post office and I had a tracking number in hand. I received my items Wednesday morning! WITH FREE SHIPPING!!If you want to know the name of the outstanding company I ended up using just check my other reviews.Ive used KellyCo once in the past with no issues. Im honestly not sure I will use them again. Not solely because of this incident but also because of the outstanding service of the other company I used.

My son wanted a metal detector for his birthday. I made my research and chose Equinox800. Ordered the item from this website, surprisingly for me this very morning it was on sale (about 90$ off) - great deal. Paid for priority shipping to get it on time for the celebration. Paid with my PayPall account. Got a confirmation email for my order. Waiting... All of a sudden during my lunch break I am getting a call from unknown number (getting 5-6 of those every day) and a voice without introduction is asking me if I am who I am...without further or due I asked who the heck he is and why is he calling. Then he said that he was calling to verify some info on my order (billing and shipping and my name and where was I when I made a purchase) and said that he will decide either he will send my 900$ order to me... All of a sudden received an email from PayPall, saying that my purchase was refunded. Called the company and they told me that somehow they decided that I am FRAUDULENT!!! and that my order is canceled. When I asked why and what other information they need from me - poor guy just hang up... went to the website to make another order and guess what... the item is no longer on sale... WTF ?.?.?. So you cancelled my order and called me a FRAUD to make extra 90 bucks??? Poor customer service, rude agents, RIP OFF!!!

Ordered a Garrett Ace250 with option 2 package on a Friday morning around 10:30 AM. The detector and everything stated showed up around 9 AM the next day! Couldnt ask for better and more prompt service along with great pricing! Completely satisfied. The negative reviews seems like they are from people who dont consider there are issues the company cant control and are being selfish about the situation.

Inside KellyCo is probably the best part about KellyCo. As a civil war fanatic, my jaw dropped in awe when I saw a collection of authentic Confederate States of America cavalry belt buckles. The staff here were extremely warm and welcoming, and they make you feel like they have all the time in the world to answer questions and do demonstrations. Ill be buying a second metal detector from them soon.

Been waiting about two weeks for the (correct) right hand version Lesche Digging Tool because they sent me the (wrong) left hand version...Was told No Problem we will mail you (no charge) the right hand version and we will email the postage label that you cover with clear tape on the shipping box that comes with the correct right hand version and take it to a UPS store to be mailed back to the Kellyco people in Florida....Called customer service today the customer service; person asks me who my sales person was from the beginning of the purchase also saying the sales person works by commission ( I dont understand what either statements has to do with me getting the correct, right hand version of the Lesche Digging Tool) asked to speak to manager because the customer service person was unable to provide any timeline as to when I was going to get my tool so I can return the other one; I was told to call back between 8 and 9 in the morning because no managers were available. In my opinion, customer service like this happens when the sales department becomes isolated from management oversight taking each sale as if it was a bone thrown to a dog...but hay all I want is my right hand version Lesche Digging Tool Im out now digging with a garden trowel ...waiting for somebody other than me to do the right thing.

I bought a Scuba Tector from your company of which Steve sold to me...I call back on Friday the day after I received it and spoke to Ray with the UK accent..(not trying to be funny) but thats how they described him to me on the 3rd call because they have 3 Rays...On their site there a piece that suppose to come with it and i went thru it with Ray and he knew what i was talking about it because he watched the video but all he said was leave a voicemail to Steve the one that sold me the item..so that he can call u back...Friday June 15 2018 no call back...Saturday I call back and another guy answers and goes thru the videos but he cannot find what Im talking about...so I go on their site and OMG what a coincidence the video is gone and all he has to say like the last 2... is that I dont know what your talking about and I dont know nothing about these metal detectors..OK BUT I EXPLAINED OVER AND OVER THAT ITS AN ABOUT A 2IN BOUYANT THAT GOES INSIDE PERFECTLY SO THAT WATER DOES NOT GET INSIDE BEING THAT I AM NOW A SCUBA DIVER...ALL HE SAYS I DONT KNOW WHAT A BOUYANT IS...REALLYYYY.Tries to give the number to call from where the item is made and he tells me the Netherlands...NOW I DID MY RESEARCH AND CAN DO THE JOB BETTER..um it comes from the UK..which he was surprised...but anyways I let him know that I have done my research before and after and called the no. ...um NO answer..as a matter of fact when I call it says You have dialed the wrong no. And the phone disconnects...so your company is getting items and u dont know where u order them from...and dont know anything about them...i should of realized that when I was asking questions and all I was getting that he was reading the info off the internet...reallllyyy..Im a lil confused...never was I rude..caught them being rude a couple of times but I didnt retaliate because all I want is answers to my problem that I DIDNOT received...Like if this were my company I would be on it...I even asked them to send them the video that was on their site and he didnt want it...VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...AND I HOPE I DONT REGRET PAYING MONEY To this company AND MY ITEM BREAKS BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW ABOUT THEIR ITEMS... I purchased a Garrett AT Pro a few years back and I*m completely satisfied this detector goes 10 feet under water I make sure all my seals have fresh vasoline on them to make sure no leaks, I havent had any problems and highly recommend this detector to all individuals, its a little more expensive but well worth it.

Says 30 day hassle free returns. Unforntuately this is is not the case. It has been an unpleasant experience at best. When speaking to the sales guy I felt like I was being interigated as to why the detector would be returned. Said he could not understand this because he uses it in competitions. And when he called back to give me the RMA# and return info, again felt under interigation. After the detector was received by Kellyco with in a day or two the site said a refund had been issued. After a few days, and plenty of time to be credited to my account, I called the sales department to ask and was informed it could take 10 working days to receive the refund. When I questioned it being a long time for a refund, and explained my experience with returns show pending the same day the transaction takes place, he flat out told me thats not true and proceeded to explain how the process works, which, again felt like an interigation, and this simply has not been my experience. I have never experienced a refund takinh up to 10 working days. Maybe 10 days to ship the return, process it and receive the refund is reasonable, however, it was made very clear the up to 10 working days was once the return was processed at Kellyco. Needless to say, we were disappointed in our experience and how it was handled.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a metal detector and propointer 3 weeks ago and eventually found out they didnt have either items they sold to me and it would be weeks before they got them. I cancelled my order 2 weeks ago and still have not been refunded my money. I have called a couple times and they are not helpful at all and tell me they dont when I will get my money back. They have for the time being stolen 550 dollars from me.

I have ordered 2 Metal Detectors,and an other order of Pinpointer..Each time.they were not shipped out when they told me they were!!! Dont give them your phone number! I emailed them to see if they had a used/demo Garrett detector for sale. The salesman who called me back was very rude/pushy and didnt seem to understand that I cant afford a brand new machine. Not everyone can afford to pay double to get a warranty.

They are very friendly and professional every time I walk in there building is like walking into a museum and they always answer my questions and take care of all of my problems
