This is the best arts and crafts store. They have everything you could want from arts supplies to crafts supplies. If you are into art, this is the store for you. If youre into crafts, this store is also for you. Its all about the art of crafts and the craft of arts. Arts of craft, crafts of art. That sort of things. You should not come here looking for a burger.

Do NOT go to the framing department here. I was very clear on what I wanted. They didnt do anything correct. They also tried to pull a fast one - they didnt put the acid backing on the shadow box even though we paid for it. They used the original backing.Even worse they put pins in the photo. This photo is from 2009 with my grandparents. I dont even have a way of reacreating this photo because my grandfather passed this year.I wanted to frame the birthday card that the picture was in and they put the acid backing on that even though I clearly asked for glass on both sides.I just wanted to do something to remember my grandfather.

I went to the Michaels in Parker looking for yarn. This store didnt have enough for a blanket, so Lori checked the Castle Rock store. Lori waited patiently while I struggled to try to order it and buy it online. I finally gave up and she called the Castle Rock store and Treavor set aside 9 skeins of yarn and it was waiting for me at the checkout counter. Outstanding customer service in both stores! Thank you.

Very well organized store, not too cluttered or messy. The employees were extremely helpful and readily available to answer questions and help you find what youre looking for. I wouldve given them 5 stars but the bathroom was in pretty bad shape when we were there - an unsightly mess and not at all clean. Not what you want to see amid a pandemic.

Theres a great variety on each department and the prices are fair.

The store was well stocked. The staff member i asked to find something was helpful and polite. The check out person needed a little cheering up but overall a good experience.

Rebecca is rude, and Im sorry I made my purchase here because she was so awful. Posting from hubbys account as my phone is dead (btw).I called 35 minutes before they closed (they were the fourth store I called looking for a $350.00 Cricut cutting device for work tomorrow morning). A kind, wonderful associate helped me on the phone choose the correct make and model and placed it behind the register for me.I arrived at 6:44pm (according to my Google maps anyway) to pick it up, and was the only customer in the store. I walked in toward the vinyl section to grab a pack of clear vinyl. Walked up and down the aisle looking for it and couldnt find it.Over the loud speaker I hear the 10-mins till close message. No sign of anyone to help me find a simple sheet of clear vinyl so I keep looking (but rushing, wanting to be conscientious of their time). Then the 5-minutes until close announcement. I give up on finding the clear vinyl and head up to buy my $350.00 machine from them.As I approach the counter, I hear Rebecca say God, lady, hurry up. I am so done with this. Wow, rude. She comes out from behind the counter and sees me and tries to walk past me. I say can you help me find something? I need something for a Cricut. She replies sorry I dont know anything about Cricut, Ill get you someone else to help. She calls and walks away. (Two wonderful girls show up offering help, one girl shows me exactly where the item was). As were walking up to the counter, Miss Rebecca gets on the loud speaker and says its now 6:58 and we close in 2 minutes. Please go to the front so we actually have time to get you through checkout before we close. So its 6:59 and the nice employee shows me the machines she put aside for me behind the register. I grabbed the blue one. Transaction took 30 seconds. Miss Rebecca shows back up and says k she was the last one to the cashier, ready to lock up.Suggestion for Michaels: Dont hire people who are incapable of assisting customers (both knowledge and courtesy wise)Suggestion for Rebecca: Realize customers can hear everything you say when theyre approaching the check-out counter.

Were not a crafts-art family, but we do use Michaels for seasonal decorations. Our best engagements however are in getting photo/art frames re-glassed with non-glare. Took a fairly large one in yesterday afternoon (shipping damage), and while we expected it done in a couple days, they called last evening that it was already done! And, always a nice staff to work with.

Was buying some spider webs and some cool t-shirts for halloween. I was checked out by Tyanna that was super kind and sweet. She does an awesome job at being in customer service. Michaels is the greatest place to go for your crafting, decorative or art needs. Staff is friendly and helpful. The store is always clean, well stocked and easily shopped! There is a public bathroom and easy access parking with handicap parking available.

It is good place for craft work stuff for kids and others. Paid and some free class for Kids class on craft work learning. And they too provide good discounts and offers.

Kind of hit or miss when I go in and Im not a huge fan of their new coupons where theres no consistency. However, I do almost always find what I need and often some things I dont need that are just too cool to pass up. I love the ability to order online and pick up in store. Ive never had an inventory issue with that like I have in other places.

I can always poke around and find fun things here. I like to stop in whenever Im close and have extra time. People have always been very helpful.

Michaels is one of those places where I think I can just run in and get one thing but I end up looking at (and often buying) many things because they have a lot of great stuff! Other than sewing supplies, they have everything I could want for crafts.

Always better than Hobby Lobby.

The Castle Rock location of Michaels is the closest to my home so I visit there often (several times per month), they offer a nice selection, it is kept tidy and neat, the staff is friendly. My only knock would be that they seldom have enough cashiers available. I understand that they cant have someone standing at each register all day but they could be much better at calling other cashiers up when a line forms.

Got everything I needed, cashier was very helpful, & I was even able to use a 40% off coupon.

It has a smaller selection of goods than you would think from the outside. If you want selection, go to the Hobby Lobby in Castle Rock, they will have what you need.This store is great if you need the basics and are close to the location. I found their sales and prices comparable to other places Ive shopped in Castle Rock.

Nice selection of craft items, a bit difficult to navigate the store. They seemed to stocking up. Boxes were left unattended in the aisles a trip hazard to say the least. It will be a long time before I go back.

This store has THE worst selection of yarn and yarn crafts than any other Michaels stores nearby. Parker & Centennial locations are both far better. They dont have fabric which is also a negative. HL will give them a run for their money if they dont expand their inventory. If JAs comes here, they will sink for sure. Like other people said, lines are always long with 1 maybe 2 cashiers if you are lucky.

Its meh. None of the sales items ring up properly, they dont have fabric and I just find way better stuff at Joann and Hobby Lobby.

I cant actually go in Michaels. Im super allergic to cinnamon and have told them but they didnt seem to care. I have just been ordering stuff of Amazon for now. Im very excited for Hobby Lobby to open.

I placed a online pickup order for 1 item early yesterday hoping I could pick it up by closing and then I called this morning to see the status and the girl who answered my call was VERY unprofessional. She said well I don’t know, we had 37 online orders when we walked in today so you’ll have to wait. Like that’s for one too much information a yes or no if you could tell me the status of my order is all I needed. I get times are crazy right now but she didn’t even let me explain what I ordered or anything.

I have always loved this craft store. However, the lines are always extremely long at this location, there is usually 2 people at a cash register but only 1 helping customers. I can never find anyone to help me. I normally would not leave a poor review, but it is getting old standing in line so long! Customers complain every time, and the cashier just ignores the complaints.

I didnt get her name but the employee at register #1 was very helpful and gave me an extra discount for not having the hold item I asked for. She went out of her way to get for me as well.

I went in about 2pm. I needed help as I wanted to make scent sachets and had no idea where to find materials. There was 1 check out clerk with 5 people in line. There was no one on the entire floor. No one at framing either. I finally yelled back into framing and got a clerk. I told her what I needed, asked her to show me items from back of store forward. I told her I needed to leave by 245. She did help me but we walked back and forth all over store. She stopped and helped 3 other people, then finally left me with vague pointing to what I still needed. I wondered why Hobby Lobby was coming, now I know. I wont be back to Michaels.

This Michaels has the best selection of art magazines of any around but its a little confusing where the line starts to check out and there always seems to be a line. You should download the app to have all the best coupons on your phone at all times.

I feel like a grown kid in this store

While I did find everything that I was looking at a reasonable price, I would much rather shop at Hobby Lobby after the interaction I had with a store manager by the name of Rebecca. During checkout one of my items was not a coupon item so I had to run to my car for change. When I returned Rebecca was very condescending when I went to the cashier to complete payment stating thats not how it works she needs to go to the back of the line. Her tone made me feel like she was more concerned with the limited power her position affords her as oppose to customer service. It wasnt what she said, it was how she said it. Something I wont soon forget.

Return issues credited only $6 of a $30 purchase. Line waits are e excessive and online ordering is more time wasted than going to get the items of the shelves yourself.

Not a store I would normally step into, but wife wanted me to find something for her. Of course I felt a bit lost in there, and the employees seemed a little too busy conversing with another patron. Finally had to ask for help, but even then one of the women just gave me an aisle number and went back to their conversation.I found something similar to what my wife wanted, but I didnt know and couldnt figure out if I had the right SKU. Took it up to the register, where only 1 friendly cashier was working, while at least 2 others are in the store but busy conversing. After at least a 5-7 min wait, I get up to the register only to find out I did not have the right SKU. The garland my wife wanted was showing $8.99 on their website and what this store had looked very similar, except it rung up at $18.99. The cashier was nice enough to tell me none was in stock at this store, and she told me where they had plenty. So I wasted close to half an hour if not more at this store searching and waiting in line, only to arrive at their Littleton location within 5 mins of closing and literally walking in and out with what I needed.
