A cool place work a big selection of products and ingredients. I came in for a stir plate and the guy at the counter (Will?) was super friendly and helpful. Im still fairly new to brewing and he answered all my questions, was clearly very knowledgeable, and didnt pressure me to buy anything additional. I will definitely be back and I am going to try their brewery next door next time.

Ive shopped here before and had good experiences. Today however was awful. The credit card machine was down, no big deal. The lady behind the counter was absolutely terrible and rude.Weall have bad days, I understand. To help your costumers provide them with another option. Google is a wonderful tool to use to find where the nearest ATM is. Set up a PayPal, offer options or at least be polite. Im not from here, I asked these questions. All I got in response was I dont know, I dont use ATMs I suggested she Google it to help costumers, her response Why dont you just Google it really snarky and hella rude. If you dont like your job, find a new one.

Stopped by here as I had some questions about home brewing and needed to get some yeast and grains. I was greeted by Will who was very knowledgeable and help me get what I needed. The 105 brewery next door is a fantastic microbrewery and won a medal at GABF this year.

Keith was very helpful and friendly, even though I only needed a CO2 tank filled.

Im new to wine and beer making. It all sounded pretty complicated to me at first but I was curious so I stopped in the store to see what it was all about. I must say my expectations were far exceeded. This store has all levels of equipment from beginner to expert. The owner and his team are very personable and knowledgeable. Of course I had many questions over time and after a few months of shopping I decided to actually purchase everything I needed to make some home made wine. I still cant get over how affordable it is. Everyone at the store has been very patient and informative and no pressure what so ever. Every time I go in, Im treated like a regular. Now that I have my first wine kit, Im excited to get started. Im looking forward to brewing some beer soon with my son. Hes graduating from a small beer making kit to the real deal now. Thanks Eric and team for a great experience and showing me another hobby that I know I will enjoy. Oh, and by the way, your free wine class was awesome. It gave me the confidence to proceed since I was able to experience just how easy it is. Now I cant wait for a brew making class. See you soon!

This is a great local shop for those on the south side of Metro Denver and very easy to get to since its right off I-25. Eric is always seeking to improve his inventory and pricing. He takes feedback and makes changes quickly. If you need something not in stock he can either special order it or he will be honest and tell you youre better off ordering direct. There are lots of events hosted in the store for fellow fermentors to get together and learn. I highly recommend you check it out.

I have been to the store a few times and am always pleased when I leave. I took a bottle of my first brew to them and they were very helpful in making recommendations as to what to try differently next time. Also Brian was very helpful in explaining how all grain brewing works and what I would need get to upgrade to all grain from extract brewing. I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking to get into the home brewing hobby, as well as to anyone already in it and looking to step up their game to the next level.

I really like this place. The people working there have been very good about helping me move from extract to all grain home brewing. They have a good inventory of the sort of ingredients and tools needed to brew all different varieties of beer. They are very friendly and patient in answering questions about brewing.

The staff here is great friendly and more then willing to go above and beyond, if they dont have it in store they go put of the way to order it for you. This is a fantastic home brew supply store if you homebrew this is definitely the place to go !!!

The staff at Castle Rock Homebrew Supply are very nice and helpful. They are well stocked for most things Ive wanted, but have always had what I needed. If they dont have something you want, they will find it and order it for you. It feels more like youre dealing with a friend, than a business. I just cant recommend them enough.

This place is great. The owner and other employees are super knowledgable and friendly. The bulk grain deals definitely are worth the trip up from Colorado Springs. I try and come up once or twice a month and get everything here. Also, the store itself is super clean and well organized.

Ive been making wine for more than 20 years and have seen a lot of homebrew supply shops come and go. My visits to this shop and discussions with Eric and the staff convince me that this shop is here to stay. The shop is as well stocked and the people as knowledgeable as many shops that have been established for a much longer time--and theyre local too! Their friendliness and willingness to help makes this shop a winner for me!

This is the best in the Denver area - there is a reason for all of the 5 star reviews. Carries a fantastic selection of equipment and grains - Ive not run into anything that I need which they did not carry. Prices compete with the internet retailers and this place is local and offers great information and classes.Castle Rock is a little out of the way for me but this is 100% worth the drive... plus, the owner has a microbrewery right next door!!

This is the best Homebrew store south of Denver and they keep adding items to improve. They have all the grains that I need, easily laid out for measuring and crushing. They also have a descent selection of other items for your Kegerator, Brew Stand, and other odds and ends. I prefer to go here than some other places that are closer in Colorado Springs.

I buy all of my homebrew supplies and wine kits from Castle Rock Homebrew Supply. They generally have everything I need or can get it fairly quickly. Prices are very reasonable, especially on CO2. Eric is very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in home brewing beer or wine/mead making.

They were very helpful showing me how to mill grain for my first all-grain batch. I also bought a flask from them and when I got home it had an inclusion in the glass so they let me exchange it the next day for a different one and didnt even ask for a receipt. Thanks!

Im a novice brewer, and every time Ive been here I was able to get excellent help from the staff, from everything from what kind of yeast to use, to if the pots I had at home would adequately work for brewing. (they were, and they didnt try to upsell me when they easily could have, but rather give me an honest answer which I really appreciated being new to homebrewing) additionally they have a surprisingly wide selection for such a small store, and prepackaged kits for us less experienced brewers. I actively go out of my way to buy from here at this point - although admittedly thats partially because I know after I visit here, I typically have 5 gallons of ready to drink beer so I can get incredibly drunk and debate calling my ex at 3 in the morning 6-8 weeks later. She never answers. ☹️

Im not new to brewing and just racked brew #120, another all grain Pale Ale! I started shopping CRHS when I first learned they were open for business. Since then they have constantly improved their inventory and services. They set themselves apart by offering an excellent selection of grains, hops, yeasts (including a nice selection of dry yeast, my favorite!) and equipment at exceptionally fair prices. On the rare occasion that I did not find what I was looking for they were always anxious to find it for me and it was there the next time I came in. You wont find any smug attitudes here, just helpful friendly service.I couldnt be more pleased with them and recommend them to everyone from novice to experienced brew meister.
