My grandsons favorite place to visit in Castle Rock. As a native of the city, he should know! Ice cream is delicious. I had a specialty cookie that was delicious. There is fudge, I didnt try but it looked great. There are some other chocolates- the turtles looked very yummy.
I walked into Sugar Spoon the week before the holidays to see if they could make 8 baskets full of treats for a work party that was in 3 days - and they went above and beyond! The baskets were presently beautifully, the chosen treats were unique and tasty, and there was a good amount for the price. I cannot thank and recommend them enough!
Such a cool place, the ice cream and fudge are the shining stars. Of course the assortment of candy brings me back, so many goodies I remember from my childhood. Lots of obscure items I havent been able to find anywhere. Very reasonable prices too. Must see!

A fun family location, with tons of candy varieties, packaged and loose weighed items. Some even made in the shop, and the chocolate they use is great for their dip items. I havent had a bad baked item either and their in-store ice cream is always changing and always good. Stop by for the local Castle Rock touch!!

Great little classic candy shop in downtown Castle Rock. The kids loved it, left with a great assortment. The coffee was good, the brittle and fudge were killer, and the owners were super nice. Some think its a little spendy but Im happy to support small businesses in town, especially when the customer service is top notch.

Very cute candy shop at the heart of downtown Castle Rock. Good variety of candies in the shop and they even have ice creme too! The shop itself is rather small. We took our 3 young children here and it felt tight with the 3 toddlers plus 2 adults there.

They offer small town service that cannot be beat!!
There is nothing cuter than a local candy store, but this spot is to die for precious. A must visit if you are passing through Castle Rock. From the chocolates hidden in the old safe to the handmade treats, ice cream, espresso, and vintage sweets there is something for everyone.

This little candy shop is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I got the pistachio ice-cream which is so delicious!! Great flavor, and super creamy. I also spotted all kinds of fun candies that I loved as a child. Also great customer service, what more can you ask for?

The best ice cream shop in Castle Rock! I found it this summer and have been going non-stop, I think six nights on a row one week. Ice cream is a great value, especially with the quality of ice cream and amount you get in a scoop. Coming from the Midwest Ive searched for some flavors of ice cream and they carry them all, blue moon and Superman to be specific. Kids and adults should make this little shop their go-to for ice cream. Also I love the staff/owners. Super fun, friendly and personal.

Some people drink coffee on their way to work, I eat ice cream on the way back. They always greet me and my kid with a smile. The ice cream flavors may not be super fancy, but its the service that comes along with them that makes it extra special.Two complaints that I have with them:1. They dont open it in the morning at 5 when i leave.2. They dont have a table inside where i can sit and eat a few extra cups.Amazing family owned business. Castle Rock needed one of these.
Love this place! Made a last minute decision to stop by an hour before closing on a Thursday night. And we were greeted by the nicest owners that gave us the biggest scoops of ice cream for super cheap! So much fun!
Great place but they randomly close early without any notification on social media or anything. Ive stopped by 4-5 times where theyve been closed. If there is badish weather Id assume theyre closed otherwise it just depends sometimes they are randomly closed. Sugar Spoon Candies is the perfect place to pick that perfect confection in a perfect location. If you are downtown Castle Rock and have been antiquing, out for a family day of shopping, or just had a nice meal. ... You need to stop there and at least try THE FUDGE and grab a cup of Joe while your at it. And of course... If you have some tine on your hands, strike up a conversation with the owners... They would love to chat, get to know you and of course, talk you into what your next confection will be. ( they wont disappoint)

Brought my wife, sister in laws, and niece to this establishment... Wow, was it truly a great experience! Owners are phenomenal, selection is nostalgic and simply amazing. We will certainly be visiting again and I can highly recommend this place as a fun stop, even if you only get a few items for the experience... Though good luck, we all left with more items than we had foreseen.

Went in for a visit on Mothers Day and what a real TREAT it was!! Not only did they offer complimentary ice cream for the Moms, but the owners were super friendly, personable and genuine! I discovered this place today while I was shopping with my mom. The building and atmosphere is nostalgic. The owner was so nice and offered samples of their delicious homemade fudge assortment and nut brittles. I immediately fell in love. You must check this place out. Of course my son loves this place! I would recommend the homemade brittle as the other reviewer mentioned. The prices are fair and the candy selection is impressive. If you are in the area or exploring old town Castle Rock this is worth a stop.

The candy and the icecream are probably fine but the experience was a little weird. The owner (presumably) just had some work done in the little bathroom on the side and apparently was not happy. So he told me all about if dropping the f-bomb at least 10 times in 30 seconds well within ear shot of my wife and mother in law and probably a few others. Im just a customer... in a candy store. Im not some guy in a bar. So for him to have no problem doing that made me think of a few other choices I have to buy candy for the kids. I for one thought that was really bad form for a small business owner and I wont be back.

My friend brought us fudge from this shop he talked highly off in Castle Rock. It melted in my mouth. I had to make that trip to Castle Rock from Denver to get some more of this and I was not disappointed. This is awesome, the best thing you would ever try. Do not miss this place.Tastes splendid.
