Zero stars. I have had my custom garage door springs repaired numerous times. By mistake, (the original vendor referred my request to them) i ended up with a WestCoast Overhead Door rep from their Castro Valley office at my house. I phoned Saturday morning, and was told someone would be out that afternoon. They did not show up and did not call. I waited until mid-morning on Monday and still no contact from them. I phoned them and to get an update and was told someone will be out that day. He shows up, and ultimately tells me i have a custom garage door, yes, i know that, and these springs are not typically stocked, i know that also. He tells me maybe Wednesday, but certainly Thursday i can have the new springs installed. Not ideal, but okay. I hear nothing and ring them Thursday morning. The guy tells me the springs are $400.00 each, and it will take 2-3 weeks to get the springs. That is absurd! I have had the garage springs repaired numerous times over the 15 years and the springs take a few days at most. And, yes i know they cost $400.00 each. Do not do business with this company. The attitude and service is deplorable. And, they collected $135.00, without disclosing the fee in our initial conversation for a 15 minute visit to tell me i need custom springs. The absolute worst!
