Wonderful market with a wide variety of fresh ingredients and the spice selection is fantastic. The gentleman working the day I came in personally walked me through the store and was so helpful! Definitely a regular stop for me.

Hands down, this must be the cleanest Indian grocery store in VA! I don’t worry about the freshness of groceries/rice/atta/etc as the staff pays close attention to quality control. Staff and owners are most helpful, willing to go out of their way to assist customers in any way possible. Can’t say enough good things about this store!

Wonderful Store...run by a wonderful warm and welcoming family. It has a good stock of Indian groceries, few things can be added though. Very spacious, clean and fresh. Prices are good. Had a very good experience overall. I would highly recommend it.

Our favorite Indian store to get supplies at

First off I stood out a bit because I am a red headed freckled lady. Everyone in the store was great. The gentleman at the register was fantastic. Gave me a new recipe to try with my Paneer. I love to cook and I have to go back because I saw plenty of things I want. They have fresh produce, some beautiful eggplant and other items. I cant say enough great things!!

Great food at unbelievable prices. They carry a wide, varied assortment of both Indian, and Asian foods and snacks. Its well worth a visit.

Basic supplies for making Indian food. Wonderful staff. The selection is not huge. But its got most of what you need. Fridays are best for fresh produce.

Last week I finished reading a phenomenal young adult book with my 8th grade students set in India - The Bridge Home by Padma Venkatraman. I knew I wanted to bring a treat into class but only had the book’s glossary to guide me. The proprietors were so kind and helpful! They sent me on my way with enough khatta meetha snack and gulab jamin for 80! My students loved trying these unique and tasty Indian snacks. Thank you G Market!

LOVE this family owned and operated ethnic food store. I came from a much larger city with many options for ethnic cuisine and markets and this is the closest thing Ive found in Roanoke to satisfying my need for Kulfi and other things. They even have little free basil plants to take! Very kind staff and owners, always willing to try to stock what I need. I love this place and try to get some cookies and snacks at least every week or so to help keep their doors open. They never make me feel like I dont belong there despite my obvious lack of knowledge about the products they offer. Go in and check it out!
