Fun store to drop by! Has a decent selection of games and books

This is a neat hidden gem store that I was introduced to. There is a great selection of comics and graphic novels, board and card games, also some figurines and other items that Im not familiar with the purpose.Staff is friendly and the store clean. Worth a stop of looking for some comics, Magic the Gathering, or other cool items.

Really cool little shop. We went for MTG and Pokemon cards. Gorgeous beads and charms for jewelry making. Small smoke shop area. Good variety of incense.

I love this place. Its hard enough looking for comics in Southern Utah. I come up from St George to stop here. The employees are always helpful. Definitely my go to.

Great employees. At least the 2 Ive met. I had a nice, civil conversation on the legalization of cannabis and had a good chat about them possibly hiring my fiance. I love honest and respectful people, and do love that this store does seem to support legalization.

Great Board Game and Trading card store! The employees are extremely helpful and kind. They also run card game tournaments very well.

Fun little place. Its open seven days a week to fulfill all hobby needs. The employees work hard to make the place look and run well.

I feel a little bad rating only 3 stars because the staff was kind but I was disappointed in the bead selection thinking this was going to be a bead store (the bead forest?! Although looking up gunjah it makes more sense...). Its definitely not focused on beads although there was some selection - it was much more a comic/game shop with combination of smoking paraphernalia and incense etc. Im sure it has its place in town as a gamer destination and the staff are chill. I would consider bringing my kiddo in to check out comics but felt a little meh on the smoking paraphernalia and accessories. If thats your thing though, to each his own and check it out!

I go here for the collectible cards selection. They also have weekly game nights and tables and chairs in the back for you and your buddies to play.

Good experiences so far. Its a fairly small shop, but its decently equipped with Magic The Gathering cards, Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer things!

A nice little shop nestled on a classic main street, Ive consistently been a patron of the store since August of 2017, and before then I did patronize the store between January and April of 2017. They have been fairly consistent with my standing order of comic books and open with me when there are issues with fulfilling my order. I usually receive an e-mail Tuesday evening, or Wednesday morning when my comics have arrived. Im sometimes frustrated by how claustrophobic the store can be but all in all a good little store.

While the store was in transition, it was geared for the die hard comic book or fantasy gamer. They were dropping the vape and adult novelties to make room for other items. Nice if what they are adding is what youre looking for... so check first.

Came here 8 years ago, and then this past week.Smoke shop section is gone- conflict of interest- so that sucks.Still beautiful beads and materials. An updated and expanded gaming section and a ton more comics and pop culture toys games etc.Gunjah is awesome

Comics, Games, even hosts tourneys.This place is very special. I can order any comics they dont have in stock through them. The games and action figures are all across the board and cover a wide variety of personal taste. I love the crew, the environment, and the customers. My only Con is that I wish this place was more popular. Bigger tourneys and gaming nights would be the cherry on the cake.

The staff was very friendly. While the stock is eclectic, it has exactly what we were looking for.

I play a lot of Magic: The Gathering and found myself in Cedar City over the weekend so I stopped by the store and participated in an event. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the play group for standard showdown and I also really enjoyed the staff at the store and how easy it was to just show up and play. I would definitely recommend the store for MTG players.

This shop is really unique. Historically its been one of the only places in cedar to sell board games, card games, rpg games, and comic books to stay afloat over the years. And for a good reason. Still is a great shop for all your hobbie needs and the staff are great. Fun to visit and its a cedar city original

Hey buy cards at 20% of their worth, and I asked if they sold market prices and hey said that they did, but on a previous visit they said their system automatically priced it up 20%. They are a complete ripoff and o wouldn’t even waste my time with them. You’d save way more money just going to the st George card store.

This place is pretty sweet, been living in cedar for a while and never knew about the place but they have a nice selection of beads, comics, board games and more. Stop in and check it out, chances are they have something fun for you.

We totally need a place like this in Cedar City. The staff is nice, and their beads are just incredible. Yes theyre a little pricey, but thats why I save up for things from there. Its worth it, the beads are sturdy, hard to shatter, and have a good weight, and threading hole size to them. LOVE the game selection, as well as the fact that they support, and host D&D games and others of the like. My husband loves video games, I love the Star Wars memorabilia this store has, and this store definitely has some good deals. The comic selection is just incredible. Its like walking into a world of my kind of people in there. Forget internet trolls, and just go have fun here!

For strictly shopping purposes, they do have a limited selection, but do offer to special order. Return Policy is pretty bad, so make sure you are okay keeping what you buy. Very good if you need Magic the Gathering supplies or want a misc. Nerd game,comics, or a small selection of manga.

Great place to buy comics and other forms of nerdy items. A town of this size is lucky to have a store for such things.

I love this store. The environment is clean and friendly, and the owner knew the answer to every question I asked. I make a point to visit this store every time Im in Cedar City. His on hand stock rivals the big game stores, but you dont have to deal with the $7/hr lackey that is just there for discounted Magic cards.

Fun Board Gamer shop if you like beads and making necklaces or bracelets. Great place to go. Plus, table top gaming for D&D, Warhammer and card players like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon or Magic the Gathering. Some Comics but they will order what you want if you ask. Check it out.

They have a lot of stuff for younger people, but I love the choice and prices of beads.

Horrible service. Stood around waiting. Then got treated like I was the DEA. Not just saying that because they IDd me. Literally felt like they wanted me out of their store. Left me standing there in the end. Worst smoke shop experience ever. Wish I could rave like the rest because it seemed like a great establishment, looking around. Maybe it was just the one guy on a bad day. Maybe you just gotta buy beads.

Very expensive prices. Noggin games has friendlier service and a much wider range of MTG products and board games.

I wish there were more stores like this in most towns. As a tabletop miniature gamer finding businesses that promote your hobbies is it difficult task. Yes the models might be a bit overpriced but having a location that is local and I can buy comics or board games makes my day.

Neat little shop, seems geared towards magic players, and people who dont know board games or other tcgs well enough to realize how overpriced or out of date their selection is. They have a small selection of incense, some beads, a little bit of comics, and a giant selection of MTG cards that have long since been rotated out of standard play. Really unimpressed with the prices, especially on pokemon cards. They were the most expensive I have ever seen at (after tax) just under $5 a pack. Singles prices made me laugh. Retro cards are basically worthless except to collectors like myself, who know what they should cost. Box sets were also $5-10 more than I expected to pay, even at a smaller shop where you always pay more than retail or online. I like to buy from local shops when I see them, but due to the prices and not having any deals on buying bulk (3 for 10 or other deals you usually see at local shops) I had to pass. I really wanted to pick up some singles, but like I said they were extremely expensive for vintage cards. Hope to stop by in the future, and maybe theyll have better prices, but I dont have high hopes.

The staff is always cool to my eight year old boy. They always offer him free stuff it always take him serious when hes looking for comics.

They pay 20% of your cards worth and mark it up by 20% even though the employee told me they sell MSRP. For $5 store credit you would need $25 worth of cards. Down in stgeorge game haven gives you 65% and game haven actually sells MSRP

Finding a unique gift is easy. Choosing from handmade glass, games, jewelry, books etc is the hard part.

This is not just a craft store, its a comic book store. My kid likes looking at the Pokemon cards and the comics as well.

Good place to go get bread

I found Gunjah through the WotC site trying to find a place to play D&D.At the time, there werent any groups playing, but after speaking with Mark (the owner) for a little bit, I ended up running the first games the store had seen in a while.Fast forward a year and a half, Im STILL DM-ing, except the number of players has grown from an average of 4 to an average of almost 20. We play 5e every Wed night and welcome new players all the time.Super friendly environment, laid back atmosphere. If you need something, ask an employee. Most employees have a specialty- comics, games, etc.I also play MTG, and I appreciate the different formats they bring up. I play standard and commander, but theres also modern, pauper, and the occasional eternal night. Most of the formats cost a minimal fee ($5) and have prizes for playing.The prices in the store are what you expect from a local shop; every now and then theres a significant different in online vs. in store pricing, but Id rather spend my money contributing to local businesses.

Very nice selection of beads and associated supplies. Store is well stocked for multiple purchases of same item. Game selection is nice and many of the games are family oriented to stimulate conversation and learning experiences for all ages. The figurine selection for fantasy games is excellent with different lines, styles and accessories for detailing available. The glass selection for collectibles is nice, great place to get handmade blown glass smoking apparatus. There is a wacky eclectic to the apparel shirt selection, with many difficult to find gaming themed items. The comic book selection of the store is the widest range available in the area. Pre-ordering is available for almost all titles. Where this store truly excels is the fantasy gaming selections. The tournaments for Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, Dungeons & Dragons, Hero Clicks, etc., are fun and appropriate for all ages of gamesters. Generous prizes are handed out for top winners and several door prizes are usually distributed to participants as well. The owner makes the game days fun. The selection of single cards for Magic the Gathering is exceptional, with fair pricing compared to convenience. Other options at this shop are the back room smoke shop accessories with a wide selection of adult items. Best check that out for yourself if your the curious type. Overall this is a fun store and supports a local owner. Shop Local!
