Great little book store. They have a ton of selection, both new and used. They also have a great book trade in policy to earn credit in their store.

Love this bookstore and especially the owner. I came there specifically to hear Miki S. play piano and was delighted to have also met Heather. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space and for encouraging others. This would be the best place to work. Renae Delabarcena

Main Street books is wonderful! It is a new and used mixed bookstore with a variety of book options as well as some novelty items and Tshirts. They have everything from childrens books to nonfiction books. The staff was helpful and kind, I would definitely go again.

OK. Decent atmosphere. Pricing is ok. Not a great selection if youre looking for good, used kids books.

Its small and disorganized which I can overlook but. After bringing a few books up to the counter and finding out that 3 of the 4 books had multiple price tags on them. One book with a 9 dollar difference than the new stickers they have plastered on the cover and a different one had a hand written price inside the cover. And a barcode on a sticky note on the inside page. So of course they will only go with the sticky note which is way more expensive on each book. Talk about deceptive business practices. 3 prices on the same book? On several books? Either you have lazy employees or its deception either way no sale.

This bookstore was fun to visit after having some food at The Grind. They didn’t have the book I was looking for, but it was still fun to browse for something new. There was a variety of new and used books. Limited seating inside. The organization of the books could be a little more cohesive, but it’s become more organized.

Usually, I like this places cozy charm. But today, I found something unnerving. Im moving, and I donated a bunch of books to a little red library earlier today, so anyone could have access to them. Someone did. And took them to brauns. Who marked my books new. I know because I donated the books today and I went to brauns today. Two of the books I donated were on display and marked full price. Other books I donated were there also. Thats bad business, and pretty damn unethical. Im disappointed in my local bookstore. Im hoping they arent trolling donations, but they are certainly marking used books as new.

Update: new ownership. This place has lost its hand lettered charm, but its a lot more organized and easy to navigate. Its still a nice little shop, just in a more professional way. This is the kind of perfect little place youd expect to find in a movie or television show. Its wall to wall of mostly used books. The signs are hand lettered and theres a little kids play area and a reading nook. To make things even better, its attached to a coffee shop. Great atmosphere overall!

A great little bookstore. They have a lot of used books that are cheap to buy and in great condition, but they also carry new books or are willing to special order something you might want. Theyll also buy old books you dont want anymore at a reasonable price.

If your like Thomas Jefferson who said: I cannot live without books this is your place. They have collectors editions and an amazing number of contemporary works by both bestsellers and local authors. Plus the coffee house The Grind is next door (connected). Its like Cheers without the booze just coffee and books .... get the coffee buzz on and sit in their overstuffed chairs and read...

Its great, but its much too clustered and cluttered for me. Everything is organized though, and they have little knickknacks you can get here too.My daughter can sit with toys and books while I look for my own. Its wonderful. They can also order books for you at a lower price than ordering off amazon a lot of the time. They work on pricing when you want to get a few books, too.The lady that was there when I went last was super friendly and helpful, I strongly suggest checking these guys out.
