I had a great experience when it came to purchasing my current vehicle. I had found a vehicle I had really liked, but after a test drive, an issue had been discovered that had kind of hindered me from initially chosing this vehicle. Upon hearing about the issue and that it was really the only thing keeping me from getting the car, Jake went the extra mile and pushed for the shop guys to look at and fix the problem. They got the repairs done and the car ran beautifully after that, so I felt more comfortable in my choice of getting the car. Jake was very cooperative and helpful throughout the whole process as well as offering advice when it came to working out the loans for it. Definitely very appreciative of all he did to help me get my car.

Our Highlander hit a tire and rim in the middle of an interstate in Kentucky while returning from vacation. The dealership there did a haphazard job repairing the damage to the gas tank and fuel line (the gauges still didnt work). We brought it to Deery, where we have been buying cars since 1985, and they found it needed another 32 parts. Adam Sires went to bat for us with our insurance company to get it really fixed. Its not the first time the service department has gone out of its way on our behalf, one reason why we continue to be loyal.

Marshall and Randy were great. Quick paperwork once I took delivery of my suburban and they helped me drop off my rental car. Vehicle was advertised and my title came quickly in the mail. Great dealership with lots of inventory.

I am not bashing this dealership, but instead sharing my own experience.My name is Michael and I live in a northwest suburb of Chicago. I found this dealership’s Audi A3 Convertible online. The listing stated that the car was well equipped with the specific items my wife was interested in having on her vehicle. I verified through both Elizabeth, their internet specialist, and the salesman that I was ultimately handed off to, Mark Alberts that these things exist. They were great on communications and sending off the extra pictures I requested. This seemed like the perfect vehicle based on the above assumptions. I made a $500 deposit and arranged for a day that we could make the trip.When I arrived, after driving 4 hours to this dealership with my wife, the car was found to be clean with the exception of the engine bay (not really that big of a deal). Upon test driving the car my wife and I found that it operated to our own expectations. The shifting was smooth, the steering was tight, and it was, overall, a nice car.When we ran an equipment check, however, we discovered that it was missing the below key items that were both described in the CarGurus.com listing as well as the dealership’s own site;*Navigation*Cold Weather Package*Heated Mirrors*Heated windshield washer nozzles*Power seats*Bose Audio System*Front parking sensors*Rear parking sensorsUpon returning to the dealership, Mark deflected blame on Elizabeth without an apology. He disappeared where we expected him to return with a sales manager that would, in turn, likely make a lesser offer on the vehicle, apologize, express some type of explanation, or compensate us for making the trip under a false pretense. He, instead, came back with my reimbursement of the $500 hold on the car and thanked me for making the trip after speaking with a manager and obtaining authorization for the refund.Do with this information as you may. I am thoroughly disappointed with the lack of quality and professionalism. Knowing that I was willing to make the 230-mile trip should have meant clear and complete transparency. Absolutely 100% DISGUSTED with this place. 2017 Ford Edge. Got it home, 2 days later started throwing codes. Come to find out, this particular engine drips coolant into the #3 cylinder. Guess what!!?? That means we need a NEW ENGINE! ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME? Now we are stuck with a $13,000.00 loan on a car that is junk! Oh, but hey the sales people are nice. I would give zero stars if I could. Was quoted a certain price for a vehicle and went in to look over it one last time before buying and when we got back from the test drive we were told they weren’t going to honor the price quoted. They quoted us for the wrong vehicle. The manger came out with an attitude and refused to even work with us on the price of the vehicle we wanted. They wasted our time. We should have known after the first time coming in when they told us the vehicles would be up front waiting for us. The sale person had no idea where they were on the lot. After finding the vehicle (30 minutes later)she had to go back and get the key. While out test driving she searched for tue second vehicle. Had the manger not had an attitude and wasn’t rude, we would have looked at the vehicle they said they quoted us at and made a deal on that one or the one we were actually interested in. Instead we left with a bad taste in our mouths and will not recommend Dan Deery to anyone. We should have listened to our friends who told us to stay away in the first place.

I have purchased 4 vehicles from DAN Derry motors over the last 2 decades and have been very happy with all but one vehicle. The last vehicle I bought was a great used SUV. However, I had a bad experience where after a tire routine tire rotation one of my front tires almost came off on a long trip. It cost me $1300 in repairs for the damage. I just had a major maintainence preventive servicing at a different Toyota service center and it was visually noted that a previous servicing for spark plugs change showed that an attempt was made to change a rear spark plug 75,000 miles back,and it was not replaced with a new one and a retention bolt was also missing. Its too bad that their lack of attention to detail has soured me on their service department. I now am going back track past service work done and have it checked or redone to see if there were any short cuts or neglected repairs that were said to have been done and werent. I have lost faith in this dealership due to the service department. Sadly, thethe previous owner

I traveled 4 hours away To see multiple vehicles... I was told to ask for Shane for he was very rude. He told. Me to take a seat and someone would be with. Me. I was showed a 07 Honda odyssey me my husband and our son I told the guy we will need something reliable to be traveling in and i will be paying cash in full for the vehicle.He told me immediately it will be a good traveling vehicle so we proceed to test drive the minivan. as soon as We got back to the dealership my husband asked me to pop the hood and immediately. Started smoking the agent told us oh no we cant sell you this car. I replied back i would hope not. The guy proceeds to offer me. To test drive another 2011 odyssey the AC would not work so I My husband told the guy it was to many red flags and we will have to pass. the guy got kinda upset and told my husband youre really not buying a car ? I told him I rather go home knowing I will make it back I had horrible service and I will let the better business bureau know that is really sad that it had to come to this never again that was a huge lesson

Had a great experience coming in to look at a vehicle we had found online. Great service although a hiccup at first with communication. The manager got Don Share to take care of us. They pulled the car out, and allowed a test drive. They didn’t hassle us on the price and met us in the middle so we could drive home with the vehicle we were after. I purchased a 2021 Toyota Tundra from Cody Zey at Dan Deery Toyota in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I had a great buying experience and the staff was excellent.

Would not recommend buying as-is vehicles from them. I am having a horrible experience with the vehicle I have purchased just over a month ago from them. The car needs extensive repairs which have cost me more than 70% of the purchase cost for the vehicle. In fact, I started facing issues right from the day of purchase while driving the car back home, even though it worked just fine on the test drive. With every passing day, new problems in the car are surfacing up and I even had to get it towed once because of an issue in the alternator, stalling the vehicle in the middle of the road while driving -- it was a dangerous situation which nobody wants to be in. If you still plan to buy an as-is vehicle from them, do ask for pre-sale inspection reports for the vehicle.
