Fareway is convenient. Live close.all employees R helpful and considerent.. They R very sweet. Cause sometimes im a hassel when i try 2 check out. Something usually goes wrong. And they have 2 fix it 4 me.. So Thank U fareway..

Great selection of fruits and vegetables, clean floors, nice selection of groceries. A bit crowded, but handled it well, taking care of each person, in a timely manner

Meh. The butchers is the only section worth visiting. The vegetables selection is underwhelming and everything is wrapped in plastic. Fruits already have their own skins; they dont need to be wrapped in plastic, which is bad for the environment. Employees were rude and unhelpful. Today they told my husband not to bring our own reusable shopping bags without explaining why. If you dont want to touch my bags then just let me know and Id be happy to bag my own stuff. The delivery of the message is important.Dont think we will be back anymore with all these practices that are bad for the environment.

Air quality is not the greatest right now due to them putting in new lanes. If you have breathing issues or little ones, might want to steer clear of here until they get done.

Love the Fareway. I visit my daughter and her family in Cedar Falls & whenever I plan my visit, I bring a large cooler & fill it with their wonderful selection of meat. Everyone is so friendly & helpful. And what grocery store today helps you take your packages out your car? Great customer service throughout the store. Then before I leave for home I make a final stop at Hansens for their great milk, farm fresh huge brown eggs.

We shop at the store at Thunder Ridge. This is by far the best grocery store in Cedar Falls. Friendly service, well stocked, great meat department, convenient parking and you dont have to walk a mile around the store to find every thing you need. I highly recommend.

Things were great, whats better than the store was a young clerk David if I remember that helped me out with all of my shopping pushing my cart and running down something that I forgot. Im on crutches and not able to push a cart. His boss needs to give him a good word.

I love Fareway, the service you get there is top notch. The meat is best in any town you can go too. If you need finding something you can ask they will help you find it, out if they dont have it they will see if they can get it in the store for you! They arent able to get exotic meat, but they can and will cut meat to order. The produce is usually week kept as well which is nice.

I love our Fareway on Magnolia St. Small but they carry the basics. Meat department is incredible. If you need help, someone walks you to where you need to be. I like my groceries being carried to the car for me! Always polite and courteous assistance. No bakery, which would be nice.

My experience was not positive. Two staff members were unprofessional. When looking at a sales shelf set up as you walk in I stopped to look at items. I realized it was a busy area and held up not a patron but a staff member who stated Oh my God. and a young school age staff member thought it was funny.This is a first impression and a lasting impression. These two ruined my 1st visit and I will never return to feel this way again.

I love this store! Helpful people, great meat counter and low prices. They always add extra cashiers when there are more than two people in line so you never wait more than five minutes when checking out. I really appreciate how they respect customers’ time!

We love our Fareway! Great produce, reasonably priced, excellent service by the local staff and they take your purchase to your car and load it for you. Whats not to like??Closed Sunday. But thats ok. They make up for it on the other 6 days.

I love that they match Hy-Vees advertised sales. They are less expensive to begin with and then you couple that with matching other stores best prices, whats not to like? The guys at the meat counter are always very helpful, friendly and attentive even when the store is very busy. I wish they were open on Sundays but such good service deserves a family day.

I needed assistance while shopping three different times and wow, someone was always right there to help. The store is extremely clean also. I live in Waterloo but Ill make the trip to Cedar Falls Fareway from now on.

I ran out of my asthma inhaler and l needed it at 2 am. They helped me in refilling it. I recommend.

Fareway is my grocery store of choice. It is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive and Fareways store brand is pretty good quality. My only grips are that they dont carry any sea food worth buying and they have raised the prices on ground turkey well above the competition.

The customer service is outstanding. They always have fresh produce. I would recommend this store to anyone.

We go here often. Large enough to have a great selection, wounderful produce and meat counter. The help takes your purchases to your vehicle as well as stow it there.

Ive been a Fareway customer at another location for 40 years and I find the Cedar Falls version to be lacking. More and more often, items I have always been able to purchase are no longer available. It is proximal to my location and I hate the rambling Hyvee store ( a smirk on every clerk and no carryout service) and traffic, so Fareway is still my best option. The fact that I will continue to shop there does not mean I am blind to its shortcomings, however. I may drive to Waverly to see if that one is better.

This is a clean and well managed store. Good instock, well staffed (especially the meat counter) and they stay on top of competitor ads. Between this store and Walmart you can save a ton of money over Hyvees bamboozling sale schemes....Lmao I paid $50 more for my stuff but wait a tick I got $. 08 off gas! Woohoo! Duh.

Best meat and grocery place in iowa

Old fashioned full service grocery - staff will walk you out and load your car for you, which some find disconcerting the first time. Closed Sundays and Christian holidays and secular holidays like Xmas.

People are nice and they usually make sure you get what you came there for.
