I needed my laptop fixed and I don’t know much about anything when it comes to these types of things. Was greeted by the employee Alyssa and Colten who were super friendly and more than willing to help me get things set up! The tech, John I believe his name was, called me to inform me of everything sk I didn’t have to wait and wonder! Really good customer service and thankful to have well equipped people around me locally to help! Thanks Itech, will be returning if I need anything else!
First I was greated by a young woman that apparently did not want to be there and was annoyed by me coming in. After figuring out what I needed, they scheduled service for my Dell laptop. A simple SSD hardrive install and cloning the current hard drive over to it. I was told 1-2 days on Wednesday at lunch. Had to reach out to them on Monday as I had heard nothing back from them yet and should have had my laptop back. They said they had a failed transfer over the weekend. So they obviously they are untruthful about timelines just to get the job then they just set things to run assuming everything goes right all the time. Finally got my laptop back Tuesday only to discover it was missing rubber pads on the bottom and the hard drive was not cloned. It appears they had reinstalled the OS and just transferred files and folders. I still had to go back and reinstall several programs and set up basic functions all over again. iWont be sending over anymore work from our offices. Shop around and stick to the locals or big box stores (be$t buy) as these dent & hail places are just there to swipe quick cash.
I had my laptop malfunction and the staff there was awesome . I loved the professional level of customer service I received and would recommend them for all your computer or iPhone needs. I’m actually taking my PC to them today.
Worst place to get your phone fixed in Cedar Falls. Went here and was quoted around $559 to get my phone fixed, I decided to look at other places and they were able to fix my phone for free. Don’t bother wasting your money please.

The front desk showed no desire this morning. In fact the woman at the counter seemed annoyed that I wanted service. When I wanted to talk to the computer tech about the job I wanted done to my PC, I was told he was too busy to leave his office to meet me, and to leave it there for inspection.. where I would be then required to pay them whether they actually do the job or not. Staff seems unprofessional and lazy.

I bought a new Macbook Pro from Mac HQ back in August. Wednesday afternoon the started getting lines and I couldnt see anything on the screen. Called Mac HQ in Missouri at there other location and they refused to help me and told me to go to Best Buy. I tried Apple support and they recommended I find a local service center for repair. iTech came up and we live in Cedar Rapids. This has been my work computer since I am now working from home. I called up iTech told them my problem. They said they were open and come up. I wen in and dropped it off later in he day on Thursday. I walked in told them the issues they checked in my computer told me they would fix it as soon as they could. They would have to order a part. They called me today to tell me it was fixed and ready for pick up. Fixed in less than 24 hours! Everyone was helpful, friendly and took care of business. I will be traveling to iTech for all my Apple products!
I brought in my iPhone for battery replacement. The check-in staff were courteous and efficient. They had it ready when promised. When I discovered a problem with the headphone jack the next day, they quickly located the problem and repaired it for no charge. I was impressed by the managers knowledge and the technicians skills and conscientious attitude. Based on this experience, I wont hesitate to bring in other Apple devices for service and will seriously consider iTech for my next computer purchase.

Had a very unusual malfunction happen to my 15 inch 2016 MacBook Pro where the laptop would essentially just not turn on. Dont exactly know what the cause of it was but iTech took it in and said that initially the could fix it but all of data was going to be lost. After ordering a new logic board, and some experimenting, they were able to restore my computer back to normal with all of my data. They could have just installed the logic board and given up saying all of my data was lost but they went the extra mile and got everything back to normal. Awesome service. Very communicable and just great people. Shags would be proud.
Brought in a malfunctioning laptop in for hard drive recovery. Was advised it could up to 2 days to recover and that I would receive a call with an update. After 7 days I got back my laptop in pieces. Having to call in multiple times for updates almost no data recovery was possible and no details on amount that was recovered. Not impressed with the customer and technical service, also $25 more than competitor for diagnostic service.
Horrible service the guy was so rude!!!I was asking about my MacBook.After all the troubles finally got it fixed by apple. I didn’t want itech scamming me with money and clearly the man didn’t know what the heck he was talking about apple company sure said the same thing😂

Wanted a 30 dollars for a computer reset. Told me it didn’t work and my phone has no warranty because of cracked camera. That’s fine they don’t make the rules. The problem is they never offered a solution to my problem . Just took my money and pushed me out the door. They where not rude but not friendly either . Thad no interest in solving my problem one way or another.so I went to Best Buy and bought a new phone .

Excellent service.. went in there with and broken iPhone 7 unable too charge, they poked around in my charging port for about 1 minute popped it on the charger and it charged and the “charge” for that service was $0.00 10/10 recommend to all my friends and family. Plus the boss Steinbeck is one of the most amazing & nice people I have ever known.

I attempted to have one of my airpods replaced, twice. Both times the same ear bud came back not functioning. They also tried to sell me other types of headphones which made no sense, I just wanted mine fixed. I will not be returning
Worst wait time I have ever experienced. I have came to this store twice and both times I stood around waiting for at least two hours. Both times they messed up when helping me. They registered me as a completely different person. They also backed up my phone, charged me for it, then couldn’t find the back up. I’m done coming to this place. The front desk workers don’t even act like it matters as you stand in the store waiting for hours. It’s hard to remain patient with this store when they are so disorganized. I was told a half an hour wait to get a check after selling my used I watch. I am currently at one hour and a half and JUST seen the guy walk over with my invoice slip to get a check! I won’t be suprised if I have to wait another hour or two. It’s Unbelievable.
I was MORE than pleased with the service I received at iTech in Cedar Falls. After being told online through Apple Chat, that iTech would be unable to assist me for at least 7 days after my iPhone crashed (black screen of death), the great people at US Cellular called over and iTech said, come on over. RIGHT THEN. They were swift with confirming my issue, pleasant to talk to, and got me all set up with a loaner phone until my replacement came in. Low and behold the replacement arrived the VERY NEXT DAY! Set up was quick and again, HUGE praises for their service. I will start THERE if I ever have any future tech issues! Thanks again guys!

Ben was extremely helpful in helping me figure out what I need it for my project and my alternatives the particular part that we first talked about they didnt have in stock and if I was in a hurry he told me where I could get it otherwise I could order it from them but I really appreciate it the fact that you took so much time to explain the technology to me Im not really text savvy so that was helpful I would go there again Ive been there before Ill go back again.
Super experience. Manager was super helpful over the phone, very knowledgeable and the service was excellent! Drove 60 plus miles to use their services and it was worth it. My screen is fixed and working great!

Very knowledgeable staff. They really try to get you into the best computer for your needs rather than upselling you like crazy. When I traded in my old computer, they even took the time to salvage the stickers I had put on it.

Went into itech 20 minutes before closing, the staff treated me kindly and helped me resolve the issue. My phone wasnt making or receiving calls, and the employee tried multiple solutions and talked me though each step so I knew what was happening. It didnt take them more than 5 minutes and they didnt even charge me for it! Amazing place.

I am definitely coming in again. Not only because I need to with whats wrong with my device, but today they stabilized the situation just enough so I could grab a few things I needed. (Im a genius and turned off a few of my cloud settings, very genius). It was very kind of them to do what they did for me, considering how finicky ports are when theyre malfunctioned.
I had an issue with my IPAD. It would not turn on and the screen remained black. I was told that my IPAD could not be repaired. I appreciate their honesty and professional opinion. I would recommend this business.

Poor guy ended up hearing my life story in the process! Seriously, should send me a therapy bill and one for fixing my technology! Thank you! I will definitely be back and make all my future purchases from Taylor ... he exemplifies customer service. They helped fix my old phone to get it to connect to the cellular network and to get me unregistered from imessage so id get my texts on my new android phone. The clerk was friendly and very thorough when explaining things to me.
While they could not resolve my issue (it wasnt their fault they couldnt assist me in they way I had hoped however) were very friendly and courteous

Normally I really like these guys, but this past experience has tested my patience. On one ticket they messed up twice. Let me explain, first, they forgot to send in my computer. So while I was waiting a week and a half, they still had it in the store when it was supposed to be sent to Apple. Then they gave me the wrong computer when I went to pick it up. I just wish they paid more attention. These are minor things they can fix.
Excellant help with my Ipad 12.9 2nd generation. Very helpful and friendly. I will go back to this business in the future.
Came in with my iPhone and Macbook to get a problem fixed between the two. I was politely greeted right away, and given diligent and great service thanks to Dan. I was given help, but all the merch is very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend coming to the Cedar Falls iTech for all your apple needs!

Took my phone to Itech because it wouldn’t charge, they said it’s broken beyond repair after looking at it for 1 minute so I was devastated but then I took it to quick phix by Walmart and they put a new battery in and charger port for super cheap and my phone works fine now! HA. itech is supposed to be for Apple but their employees definitely aren’t 😁👎🏽
My initial experience was fine. I brought my iPhone in with a battery issue and they were very friendly and helpful. However, they would not give me a loaner phone for a 1 day service and were supposed to email me the next day when my phone was ready for pickup. However, I never got the email so I had to have my dad call for me. They said they had to send my phone in to get a new one, but never emailed to tell me that. I tried messaging them on facebook and got no reply. I was cluelessly without a phone for multiple days without a loner or even a clue on what was happening with my phone. Would have been easier for me to go Des Moines to the Apple store and get a new one the same day.
I can not thank the staff of itech enough. We had a whole family full of Apple products and we have had just about everything happen to them including spilling liquids on them! itech was always very helpful, very knowledgeable and very quick to help us resolve whatever issues we have had over many years. THANK YOU to all of you! I will highly recommend itech to anyone!

I went in because I restored my macbook pro and the OS X software was not downloading. All I needed was the software to be downloaded again. I had talked to the Apple support previously and found out the problem and just needed to buy a cd or have them put software on my macbook. They have the software on flashdrives, but said it would cost me about $100. I decided to look for other ways, glad I did. When I talked to Apple later they said that I should not be charged to do this. Apple is now sending me the CD to install the software via mail completely free. Now just have to wait for the CD, when I need to be completeling assignments and this is my only computer.

I simply cannot recommend this story any more highly.To kick off my senior year at the University of Iowa, I bought a new MacBook Pro off of eBay at an unbelievably discounted price (a new line of MacBook Pros 15s had just been released, and so I found a retailer in California that was trying to making room for more inventory.) Unfortunately, I was one of the unlucky few customers that receives a random lemon and my display began showing jittery lines and discolorations at staggered time intervals within a month of my initial purchase. Luckily, I found out after a quick call to Apple Support that my eBay-purchased laptop was still under warranty with Apple. I was directed to this store near my home by Apple Support for the repair and was blown away by the service offered.My laptops display was replaced entirely at no cost within a business day and a half. A $700 part and repair done in no time at all.The staff were extremely personable and knowledgable. They walked me through the entire process in a very quick manner and had a lot of great stories and personal experiences to share in-between filling out a minimal amount of paperwork.Simply put, theyre extremely passionate about the service they provide here and dont hesitate to go the extra mile or two. My brief run-in with iTech has been one of the single best customer service experiences Ive had in several, several years.For those unfamiliar with the store, it does carry a surprisingly good range of inventory. Its fairly comparable to a genuine Apple Store and has a much more laid-back and friendly environment (which compared to an Apple Store is saying something.)If youre looking to purchase genuine Apple products and a genuine Apple experience, attend the University of Northern Iowa, or just live in the area, this is hands-down the store you need to check out.Keep up the good works guys!

Terrible service, I had a cracked iPhone and they said it would take 3-5 business days to get it back. After two weeks of not hearing anything I called and left a message with no reply, two days later I called again and they told me they could not locate my phone. Needless to say once they find my phone I will not be going back and will be repairing my own screen even if it is a third party screen.
A Lady ahead of me was screaming and they did not escort her or anything. And I wasted 30 minute and they didnt replace my iphone battery.
