A couple years ago i went into LensCrafters in Cedar Falls. I had a negative experience. I went in again yesterday 6/11/21 and had one of the best experiences. I’m sorry i didn’t get the man’s name. Young and dark hair. I will buy my next pair at LC. He was efficient and enjoyable.

Positive experience from the eye exam to fitting my new glasses. I need to give credit to James and the young lady (didn’t get her name) working the store for their expertise and great customer service. My new glasses are perfect.

Went in to get contacts. The first visit they gave me the wrong prescription. Second visit they gave me contacts that dried out every 5 seconds. Tried to fight through it and get used to them like they suggested but could only keep them in for a couple hours at a time(constantly blinking the whole time). Told them about this problem and they just repeated that you just have to get used to them and wanted me to buy more. Everyone who has seen me wear them who also wear contacts said something was definitely wrong with them. After the whole ordeal I’m out $200 and I still can’t see.The website they sent me to get this straightened out was just a big roundabout waste of time where at the end all they do is say they can’t do anything and to go back to the doctor and ask them to fix the situation.

Had a great visit when I came in to purchase a new pair of glasses. They were great and helpful.Picking them up was a different story.Asked them to clean my current pair of glasses and they seemed annoyed. When the employee came back my left lens of my glass were so scratched I couldnt see out of them. Theu tried telling me that their stuff wouldnt do that!Manager came over and looked and said they didnt do it without even asking the employee. She went behind counter to the left and came back and said that equipment couldnt have done it.i told her the employee went to the right behind another area. Manager didnt even check. My glasses are ruined. Took the protective coating off and lens has gouges in in. Horribel

So this place really is a great place.We had a little miscommunication and Jackiedone what she could to o correct the problem.She helped pick out a great looking frame and even though I have to wait a little longer for my glasses to be done it will be worth it.Thanks for all your help.

I worked with Harry shoening at first and then manager Jackie took over because it was a warranty deal on ray ban from another provider. I could not ask for better service from them. My wife and kids will be getting glasses from there from now on even though u dont accept my insurance, we will figure something out. Kudos to your crew!

Went in on 7/11/20 and the service was horrible. No greeting or asking if I needed assistance. I had to seek out assistance from the girl working even though she wasnt assisting the only other person in the store. When I explained to the young girl working why I was there and what I was looking for she simply pointed to the wall and said theyre over there. After looking for a bit I had some questions and she was busy on her phone and wouldnt look up. Needless to say I didnt make a purchase and wont return to this store. Very disappointing.

Known for fast turnaround on glasses I had to wait 4 days to order due to computer issues then after paying wqs told 2 to 3 weeks.

The service was outstanding and the staff were so helpful! Tiyana really went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable what I was picking out and the options I was choosing!

Had a bad experience last year during COVID but came back and they found me a great pair of glasses and prescription sun glasses to boot. Very satisfied with stylish choices and friendly customer service this time around.

Everyone there was amazingly patient with a confusing insurance situation and were trying their best to get me the best deal, on top of that they got my glasses done under an hour! (Of course don’t expect that coming in but it was nice)

I just left the Cedar Falls LensCrafters so unbelievably disappointed. I’ve never been treated so poorly before in my life. Catherine (older lady with purple glasses) helped me with my adjustment process of my new glasses. She made me feel like such a bother and was not listening to my concerns. I will NEVER buy glasses from here ever again and I am returning the ones I just purchased. Catherine needs to go through some customer service training because no customer should ever have to go through what I just went through anywhere.

When I have went to Lens Crafters in the past they have been very helpful.This last time they were rude not helpful.When I return my glasses for a different pair they were not happy. (You have 30 days to exchange your glasses if neede to). This will be the last time I go to Lens Crafters. They glasses are way to expensive.

Lenscrafters is the ONLY place I buy my glasses, and the only group of people Ill let ADJUST my glasses! The folks that work the glasses section of MY Lenscrafters are irreplaceable and I really depend on them.. you couldnt find nicer or more knowledgeable and lovely people than these cats! I THANK YOU, Cedar Falls Lenscrafters!

It really adds up.In the past I have been buying my glasses at ShopCo. I have been paying something like $200 or $250(ish). The problem is the glasses are designed to break at the hinge after 1 or 2 years. Then if you try to replace the broken temple they dont make them anymore.I have had my Ray-Ban sun glasses for 15 years. They are bullet proof. So my ShopCo glasses break (again) and Im getting Ray-Ban this time. Im getting sun glasses also. The frames are a little pricey but you pay for quality and Im in. But wow after you add the lenses with a few normal options you are looking at $400 each.I expect to have these glasses until my eyes need new lenses. So the money should be well spent. But I never expected to pay $800 that day...P.S.I posted this to an email from LensCrafters asking for a review of my experience. It was rejected for some reason... Wonder why? I bet no negative reviews get posted by them...
