What a delicious variety of donuts. I had a hard time selecting only a couple. This time I walked away with the cherry cheesecake, key lime pie, and blueberry crumb, and all were amazing.

A doughnut wonderland of sweet and unique treats! Everything was big, fresh and delicious. The selection was wide, with varieties you probably wont find anywhere else. If youre in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop by. Theyre open, and youll be glad you did!

Beautiful place, terrific theming and atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. We had a smores donut and a smores iced latte. Both were yummy but not overly special. (Especially for the price!) For a fun dessert or treat out, I recommend it, but not for your everyday donut shop.

Really good donuts, have some weight to them. Got a whole box because I knew I wouldnt be able to have just ONE. I had The Brownie and it was great. Will be going more often. If you love donuts this would be a perfect place to go love it.

Weve never been to the Hurts donut in Cedar Falls before. Great selection We got a raspberry streusel, blueberry streusel, Oreo cheesecake, lemon, and a couple other ones. If youre looking for a large variety of something to satisfy your sweet tears I would recommend snapping at Hurts donut.

I had the gentleman behind the counter to select two dozen for me, to take along to high stress meetings. He picked a nice variety and the recipients seemed to appreciate them. The store was clean and the service was prompt. There was plenty of free parking around the store. It is located before the massive construction zoo that turns into 57 in Cedar Falls, so youre okay there. The doughnuts are visibly stunning, but very sweet... because theyre doughnuts...

I am gluten free, their 1 donut was $4.50, whats up with that. It was just okay because of the price. All the rest looked really good, nice place.

I came in looking for a Bavarian creme donut and they were out of them. Without blinking an eye, the donut seller became donut maker and she joyfully went back and made me two from scratch. Sorry folks, but this is why I pay a little extra for my stuff. I love people who go the extra mile and want to surround myself with these types of establishments. Its worth patronizing them because they are really good at what they do and the experience gives us choices here in Cedar Falls. Wont you stop in? Someone nice will be waiting for you.

I can’t say enough good things about Hurts Donuts in Cedar Falls, Iowa. This was my first time. I received a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in the store. There was an excellent selection of donuts! The workers were very friendly and helpful and were chipper and appeared happy to be at their job. I was thinking after I paid about how I was going to get a box of donuts, a water, coffee, and baby in his car seat out to my vehicle. The worker asked me if I needed help out. Another wonderful employee came out and helped me to my vehicle and had a great attitude about helping. The donuts were amazing. It’s time to rid the world of Casey’s and Kwik start donuts and put a Hurts Donut in every town and city! I will definitely be coming back and telling all my friends!

They dont make it clear which donuts are part of the Dirty Dozen or not. Went specifically to get a special themed donut only to be told it wasnt part of their dirty dozen offering when there were some blended in exactly with donuts that were. If you are going to have exclusions, maybe DONT put the excluded donuts in with those that are and instead put them all on their own side. And maybe dont say you pick on your menu! I know these theme donuts take more time/resources to make, but that is no reason to bait and switch your customers!

This is the place for donuts. Went in for a Jesus. They were all out, but the staff made me one. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Craving a donut, skip Dunkin and come here. Darn good donuts and no hurts.

After hearing that Hurts Donut was all that, my wife and I decided to give them a try.As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and they were quite polite and helpful.We bought a raspberry bismark, the Cookie Monster, Starry Night, the Brownie, and 2 Peanut Butter Oreo.While theyre good, Hy-Vees donuts are better in quality, taste, and freshness.Sure you may get more novelty flavors here, but youre also paying a premium for them, $12 for just a half dozen.If you live downtown, its a lot more convenient to buy from them instead of wasting the time and gas driving to Hy-Vee.The picture shows The Brownie on the left and Peanut Butter Oreo on the right.

Today was the first time I had a Hurts Donut. We got a half dozen but took our time choosing, the staff has the patience of a saint! After trying a couple, I highly recommend any of the streusel donuts. We left, had a few by the river, then went home. Upon arriving I dove into the box once again a little too fast and started choking. With the addition of a little bit of milk, it went up and out my nose and the burning commenced. Thankfully the Netipot came in handy. Just a word of warning that Hurts Donuts are PAINFULLY DELICIOUS. Thanks guys! :)

Number one Donut place in the Cedar Valley!! The donuts are fresh, and theyre consistent! The coffee puts a little hair on my chest and a pep in my step. Great environment! A must visit.

Fresh donuts. Moist and delicious. Loaded with toppings or just simply iced. Cake and yeast. French twists are huge and apple fritters are Iowa big-as all Iowa fritters should be. Coffee smacks too.

Ok this is just my honest opinion but the stuff is way too sweet and sugary I have gotten sick from it twice so now I only get the coffee which is still way sweet

My wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere! Nothing like ordering donuts while listening to 90s hip hop!! Anyway, the donuts were great. The Bavarian Cream was deliciously prepared and went well with a chocolate milk. Check it out if youve never been. Oh, did I mention that the prices are actually good and fair in our typically overpriced food and sweets consuming culture. Take the whole family!

Mother’s Day, waited in line for 30 minutes to choose from 6 donuts. Was told they didn’t expect to be this busy today.... Mothers Day and there are no restaurants open. Good planning as there was a constant line to the door while there. When getting to the counter, I asked if more donuts were being prepared and the clerk said sarcastically “no we aren’t making any more today”. Nice attitude for someone standing behind a 24 hour business with no product to offer, but I could place an order and pick up later. Wrong answer... I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

Hubby stopped and picked up a cinnamon roll to try. Brought it home, and we split it. Wow, how very disappointed we were. It was horrible, no cinnamon to taste, very doughy, and was very dry. Frosted with a very, very thin glaze. Perhaps if they had used some cream cheese frosting, like most good cinnamon rolls, at least it may have helped give it some kind of flavor. Not impressed with this place so far. Very overpriced, and what we tried was horrible. I would hate to have to bring a bunch of kids in, you could never afford it. This is the mid-west, not New York!

Pushy owner to buy merchandise, I understand running a business and promotion, but after I say no once Id appreciate to not be bombarded a thousand times to buy something I said no to, it doesnt leave me wanting to return.As for the donut I got one Ive had before, the Homer. A few bites in I noticed the typical vibrant pink, had changed to pale whiteish pink after being in the case and under the lighting so long, not exactly appealing. After already experiencing a mushy wet donut from improper frying, I dont think I could return here again. :/

There is a great selection of donuts with many frosting and filling combinations. They have plenty of drink options for everybody. The prices are reasonable. Our family got three donuts, a huge twist roll, and two drinks for $12.

Horrible experience. Ordered cream filled donuts a couple times. Got charged 18 for dirty dozen which FYI, menu states you pick.Third time I went in, ordered cream filled donuts. Tried charging me 40 dollars!! For a dozen donuts!! I refused. Tried contacting corporate, they tried telling me it was not a part of the dirty dozen False avdertisement in my opinion. Was told someone from the Cedar Falls store would be contacting me. Still have yet to hear anything from them. Guess I will be taking my business elsewhere. No hard working American in their right mind would pay 40 dollars for a dozen donuts.I recommend anyone in the Cedar Valley try Ion donuts or Rocket donuts instead.

This is a sub-par donut shop. Great if you’re okay with donuts topped with candies and cookies (the kids won’t mind). Not so great if you’re looking for an adult palate-pleasing find.

Went in and bought 6 doughnuts. Line moved quickly, the place was clean, and the staff was friendly. The doughnuts were tasty. I can see why some people would say theyre too sweet, but I only felt that way after eating two. In other words, it was the right amount of sweet to me. I cant review the drinks yet, but I plan on visiting again and trying some. Ill update the review once Ive tried some of their drinks.

Such good donut selection. They are so good, too. we did a six pack and we picked I wasnt unsatisfied with any of our choices. My favorite so far oreo cheesecake & boyfriends favorite so far was lemon pie (both were ahhhmazing)!!!

Nice customer service, cool merch, and awesome doughnuts! The cheesecake is my favorite personally! The doughnuts here are much fresher tasting then other locations that I’ve been to. I only have two small complaints: the frosting/design work is a bit sloppy and the Nutella doughnut is definitely not Nutella. It’s just basic chocolate icing.

Yum!! My family of four went this morning before a big line started up. We were greeted immediately, the lady was patient about us being overwhelmed by all the choices. Friendly, attentive customer service. I got the coconut cream and Nutella, Ive only had the coconut cream so far and bites of my husbands and kids donut and they were all delicious! Even the plain donut parts were really yummy. I dont think theyre outrageously priced for what you get. Id like to say Ill be back soon but Im trying to lose weight lol!

Good donuts the day of. My father in law bought some 11/27 around noon and we ate them 11/28 at 1030 and were majorly disappointed. Honestly I would have been happier with a kwik star glasser donut.
