Wouldn’t recommend for any service work.My experience started last winter, when my husband took my jet ski in for an oil change and be winterized. This spring I opened my jet ski to find the battery missing and extra parts (including a title) to someone else’s jet ski. When I saw the parts, I felt like they may go to my jet ski but couldn’t find them listed anywhere. I contacted the person on the title thinking it was the previous owner of my ski. No Dr Powersports gave me someone else’s belongings. It caused the owner and myself to be very alarmed. I let Dr Powersports know and there response was that the person in charge of service has changed, they were not to bothered by it.Fast forward to June, when I needed service done on my ski. I called and they made me an appointment for a week out and even told me to bring it in early on Saturday and they could take a look at it. 2 weeks went by and they said they pulled the ticket to look at it. Multiple calls later they had the ski for 6 weeks and it had never been looked at. For 4 weeks they told me that it just had grass in it and needed water tested. They didn’t know anything about the intake grate missing, which tells me that it was not even looked at. I went to pick up the ski to take it elsewhere in be fixed, and they didn’t even take my name but told me that they leave the keys in all of the jet skis? What??? My ski sat outside for 6 weeks with the key in it. They have no idea who picked up their ski.Fast forward to my jet ski being fixed elsewhere. The oil change that I paid close to $300 for was never done. The oil black we can be the filters never changed.No accountability at all. I understand that they were busy? But the rehearsed response of it needed to be water tested for 4 weeks. I had an appointment, but even being told that they had not gotten a chance to look at it would have been better than stringing me along. Turns out that it wasn’t a problem they could pretend to service and charge me for. Do better..,
Seem to be not very knowledgeable about parts and service. Not a very good inventory on hand of both motorcycles and products. I have had more than one poor experience here.
I recently purchased a Kawasaki Mule from DR PowerSports and it was a great experience. Although their inventory levels are lower than usual, they still have a great selection at fair and reasonable prices. Matt was terrific to work with, he was informative, asked questions about my intended use, and worked with me to get the right unit for me. Matt and I talked several times over a couple of days and the actual buying process was a breeze (less than 15 minutes). Very pleased with the service from Matt, highly recommend DR PowerSports for your atv/utv/bike purchases.
Took our 2 SeaDoo jet skis in to be serviced. First words I hear are 2 stoke or 4? I tell them 2 stroke and they say we dont work on them. I dont even want engine work done! Wouldnt even look at them. This is the second time Ive had an unpleasant experience with them. Never again. So much for being a SeaDoo dealer.
Very reasonable prices inventory was a little low but theyre putting more together and getting them out on the floor. Great time

Bought a SXS from them on a saturday. Noticed later when got home, bunch of extra bolts were missing and only received 1 key with the machine. Been trying to get ahold of them for 3 days, left voicemails and no calls back. phone never gets answered when call.
Run, buy somewhere else. MATT ADELMUND, a sales manager from Dr POWERSPORT refused to take my deposit $500 today. He said customers is on the way to see the bike.. we have been texting for a week,, and I finally made decisions today to buy the bike. He also failed to provide me information DOT tires that I asked him a week ago on March 18th 2021 today March 25th 2021 on 15 year old 2006 Honda Goldwing even I mentioned it to him that 10 years old tires are unsafe. I just want to make sure that not 10 years old tires on the bike. He still not giving me that DOT TIRES information that I need it.For him profit is ahead the safety of customers. Stay away from Matt. He texted me when I TRIED TO NEGOTIATE THE PRICE, I get that. It would be different if I contacted you to buy it but you contacted me. He dont care about customer service. I would not buy anything from Matt!!I am a cash buyer, already made a plan to pay in full cash 💸and pick up the bike in the next couple days from him. I mentioned to him yesterday its Spring Break week I can not take off work this weekdays. He told me yesterday I can put deposit $500 by giving him my credit card to hold it until I can pick up the bike. Today Matt is a different person and LIED ABOUT IT. Wow its a slap in my face by Matt. If sales manager is a Liar, who you can trust buy from this company.

Purchased a dirt bike and 4 wheeler last Fall at the same time. The purchase experience went fairly well. Although it was hard to get a hold of the salesman at times we were satisfied with the overall experience. However, arranged for them to do routine service on both vehicles and fix a minor problem on the 4 wheeler this spring. They had them for over 6 weeks! We would call and half the time no one would answer. Leave a voice mail and no one would respond. If you did get a hold of someone they would promise to check on our vehicles and get back to us but they never would. My best guess is that they never even looked at the vehicles until they had been there for approximately 5 weeks. Just ridiculous. No explanation or apology ever offered. Although we are in the market for an additional ATV and/or watercraft I dont think we can ever justify purchasing from them again because of the poor service.

January 2019 I purchased a NEW 2018 F3L. Sold to me with a “full” 2 year factory warranty. It took until November 2019 to receive any warranty information from BRP. When I finally received the warranty confirmation I find out that the F3 warranty was activated Over 8 months prior to me purchasing it. It was in the loaner vehicle program. If it was disclosed to me at the time of purchase I might not have gone through with the purchase.There were other issues with the purchase, mostly due to the service department.They did give me a good price on the B.E.S.T. warranty. But even that took many e-mails and telephone calls over 4 months to get activated. In the end it took the owner of another dealership calling the owner of DR to get that taken care of.Highly unlikely that I will be a repeat customer.
A really big place, but not much there for sleds. No sales crew either so to speak of. The sales person who came out 15 min later was annoyed we asked questions about prices, but Nothing had a price tag. Then they told us how dangerous the machines are and how their cousin was decapitated ???

Showed up looking to test ride a bike. Waited over an hour, no staff approached me and when I actually tried to talk to one he brushed me off saying he was busy and gave no indicator how long he might be till he could help me. I left and went and bought a motorcycle so.ewhere else that day. Theyve lost my business for good.
Cost for service is super high now! Leers must being trying to pay for the new building. I probably won’t return unless they lower labor cost 20%. I give 3 stars for having a nice facility with good helmet selection.Note: they need to clean the drive, too much gravel leading up to the building.

This used to be my go to place. Unfortunately 5-9 weeks out in the service dept. Sales and parts are perfect. Service may need some more mechanics. Show room is one of the cleanest and largest ive seen.
Well me and my wife where in there looking for atvs afew months ago and we walk around for awhile looking and your sale people looked at us and than turn around and went back to what they where doing ...no one hi can I help you nothen ...so I went else where and bought 2 brand new atvs down a hicklin in ames awesome people to deal with just saying....I well never step foot in dr.powersports again ...just my opinion 🤷
Very poor service. Never return calls nor emails. Not sure why but followed me around when I was there buying sunglasses, gloves and helmet... Would have given them zero stars but it would not let me... Spend my money elsewhere from now on...

Ive spent alot of time researching to find that perfect 3 wheeler motorcycle. Ive riden motorcycles most of my adult life until I was diagnosed with a debilitating illness took most of my strength almost 6 yrs ago and I couldnt ride a normal bike anymore been looking at these can am spyders for about a year now and after watching some great youtubers on the matter I choose the spiderF3s. I believe in buying local so I went down to DR. PowerSports this morning to see what they had and they only had 1 F3 but it wasnt a sport which allow you to turn off the traction control. I ask for some assistance and was told they only had 1 salesman and he was with a customer so being a patient person I waited . About 45min later the couple was buying what they came in for so I had to go out and sit down in my car and get off my feet due to my health issues. After about 10 minutes I came back in and the couple was gone with their new ride and went to find the salesperson and had him paged and walked back over to the spyders and waited. I looked around and saw him helping another customer who just walked in and let him know Id been there over an hour patiently waiting for him to get done with the other customer he was with let him know I was disabled and had to go sit in the car for a little bit to rest my legs and he laughed at me and said I dont go outside and turned his attention back to the new customer he was with. So I went and asked for the owner and proceeded to tell them what happened and told them i was there to buy a spyder F3s and was willing to order one do the numbers so i knew how much to come back with and get it ordered and pay for it since they didnt have what I wanted and told them to have a nice day. As I walked out the customer he was with walked out behind me and left. I ended up going an hour south of me and the 2nd can am dealer was Amazing they to didnt have what I wanted I sat down with them told them what I was looking for we priced everything out just over 20,000 went to the bank got a cashiers check and went back and paid for it. Dennis my salesman was awesome had a much better experience and cant wait for my new spyder f3s to get here. I would not recommend DR. PowerSports to anyone. To be fair to owner I was told when I asked for him he wasnt there so the young lady I talked to I asked if she could pass on the experience I had to them when they did come in.
6 weeks of waiting throwing parts at a ski with 70hrs couldnt get ahold of them bill over 1000 dollars went to pick the skis up they accused me of not paying (payed over the phone earlier in the day) asked if he was the mechanic he walked away and refused to answer if I could give 0 stars I would
Last August these guys helped me find a battery for my new bike that another dealer sold me. Im always going to shop here from now on and have them work on my bike.The sales guy even filled the replacement battery for me and charged it before I picked it up!Update on new location.Most of the old crew is gone. New parts computer jockeys dont know how to look anything up without an hours time. I ordered a chain last fall...told her the links and chain type I needed. It was cut 8 links TOO short...now I have two master links on one chain and initially they gave me the wrong master link!!! God! Did at least order the correct sprockets.Salesman ignore you and talk down to you. They get irate if you have the nerve to haggle on a price.Disappointing.
Never in my life have I had such a terrible experience anywhere. I drop my bike off knowing it was going to be three weeks before they could get worked on, no big deal. When I dropped it off I SPECIFICALLY told them to call me before any parts got ordered or if the bill was going to be over a certain amount. NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME. I had to call every time to get updates. Very poor customer service. The bike was there for almost an additional 5 weeks on top of the 3 already for a carburetor issue. No one ever called me before they started ordering parts and racking up a bill that was way more than what I told them I wanted to keep it under. Finally it’s done, however when I get there the seat lock does not work even though it worked perfectly when I dropped it off. The locking mechanism was zip tied to my frame instead of where it should be. When I go to pay for it they tell me the total and it’s WAY over what I told them to keep it under. I was told that price already had X% off for it taking them forever. I’m very upset for how piss poor of the customer service is or lack there of. Never come here to get any work done at all. It will not be done in a timely manner. The service department is incredibly slow. All of these issues could have been avoided if their communication skills were much better. They will try to get YOU to pay for THEIR problems and THEIR mistakes. Never getting a phone call never getting updates and ordering parts before calling me first is unacceptable. If given the option I would give them a zero star review, one star is way too high.

Nice local motorcycle shop. Pretty decent inventory of bikes, though heavy on quads and cruiser as you might expect in the Midwest. Limited apparel and accessories but usually has what you are looking for just not a huge selection.
