AVOID GATEWAY FENCE ! LOOK UP ALL OF HIS LAWSUITS ON THE NJ COURT WEBSITE WHICH IS PUBLIC RECORD. On a family recommendation, we called Mike for an estimate and repeatedly asked for something in writing, which we never received. We gave him a deposit and decided against using him because of his non-responsiveness and unprofessionalism.After months of being strung along, that our check refund was in the mail, we decided to pursue legal action. It took us an entire year to get our money back, but tack on court fees, time and stress to that as brand new homeowners.Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

My spouse and I spoke with five different licensed fencing companies before we picked Gateway. Most prices were comparable but we decided on Mike because of his experience, responsiveness to texts/emails, and he gave a realistic timeline about when the job could be completed (especially in light of shortages with COVID).His employees were wonderful and did quality work. We are overall very happy with the final product. Our issue, however, occurred when we needed to correct a side gate. We did not like how it looked because we felt it was too large for the space (Mike came himself to do the measurement). He did not maintain good communication with us about fixing this error (did not respond to emails, and was delayed responding to text messages), and he was curt when speaking with us after we asked for better communication.Unfortunately, we are left feeling disappointed with Gateway due to Mikes overall attitude about fixing the side gate. We would not use his services again nor recommend Gateway to friends/family.Giving three starts because his employees were great.

Good experience with Gateway fence. Took the time to fit my small job in between bigger ones.
