This little store has all your needs, from seasoning to incredibly priced deli meats and cheeses. Great tamales, and other ready to eat food. Also if you go to the back of the building you can dine in their attached restaurant that sells incredible tacos!!

We have been dining at the restaurant and shopping at this market for many years and have always had the greatest experience. So to say last nights experience was a disappointment is an understatement. We arrived three hours before store closing and decided to have dinner first before doing our shopping. By the time we made it in to the market to shop for ingredients to make Menudo we still had an hour and 45 min before the market closed. The first stop was the frozen cooler for tripe which was empty. This wasn’t an issue as the meat counter has always cut blocks of tripe of the case was empty in the the past. The butcher working behind the counter told us we would have to ask the owner as he has already cleaned down the meat cutter for the evening. As the owner passed by we asked if we could could purchase 15 lbs of tripe to be cut. The owner walked us over to the cooler and told us there was tripe in the case and tried selling us thawed margarita mix. When we told him the bags were not tripe (which he clearly already knew) he told us we would have to come back in the morning.We were not too happy but we agreed. We went back to the store this morning as we needed the Ingredients to get started on the all day process. Our overall bill in his store was over 200. Plus the 60. We spent on dinner last night.I don’t think we will be going back no matter how much we love the food. A good business owner takes care of the customer. An hour in a half before closing was plenty of time to cut more tripe. To send us away and ask us to come back was very poor service in my opinion. We did it this time but I will be looking for a new place to shop. So disappointed….

Ive moved to Logansport. Every time Im back in Lake County I make a point of stopping here!!! The stores out here dont compare!!!! Great restaurant too. Cant wait to go back 🙂🙂

This place has the best Pico Ive ever had. Whenever I go home to visit my family I practically live on this Pico. I wish I could get it shipped to me.

Love, love, love this place. Food is delish in the restaurant. You cannot go wrong no matter what you order. I also love the market. The have a surprisingly large selection, an prices are good for such a small store. Their fresh meats do not disappoint. I highly recommend getting the pastor or seasoned chicken to make tacos!

This is the best place to get authentic Mexican cuisine. They have a great grocery store in addition to a restaurant that also has catering options. We bought 30 tacos plus sides for Mothers Day a few years ago and it is still talked about.

This place is small but manages a great variety. The restaurant attached is fantastic and the waitresses are always nice. The meat market is unbelievable. So much to choose from.

So the food from here is great. I would recommend any of the preseasoned taco meats or Fajitas. Staff is super helpful and kind. They carry pre-made gauc and Pico as well if you are looking for some. I would definitely recommend this place.

We went to this restaurant today for the first time. When you walk in to the restaurant the smell is absolutely amazing. The food was the best Ive ever had. The salsa tasted so fresh and the variety was great. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered 3 tacos, shrimp, chicken and pork on corn tortilla. Chips and house salsa, chip were stale and salsa was sweet. Tacos were OK, I remember it being much better a few years ago.

Stopped in to get ingredients for guacamole. Produce was fresh, ripe, and reasonably priced. Was greeted by warm pork tamales at the door and we got some. They were so good. Very buttery tasting with a slight kick. Girl who rang us up with very nice. Will definitely come again to the grocery store.

Its a great place to go and eat authentic Mexican food by yourself or with family. They also have a good verity of groceries. I live 45 minutes away from there its worth the drive. I love their pozole.

Check the recipes i payed 14 bucks for three tacos never again. And this is the fourth time they over charged. Great food. But the cashier. She will rip you off trust me

This is a great family owned establishment. We have known the family and employees for years. We often dine as well as shop there. My wife and I like the menudo and posole on Saturday mornings. They started out small many years ago and now they are one of the more popular places to be. Try it, youll like it!

We ordered steak tacos. The tacos were okay, beans and rice weren’t good. We ordered guacamole, not good. Pico de Gallo, not good. Sauces for the tacos, not good. Super friendly staff, I mean really friendly. Just very subpar Mexican food.

Steak Fajitas and a Family friendly atmosphere

I love this little grocery store. Great place to pick up chips, salsa, and guacamole. You can also pick up everything you need to make your own fajitas and Spanish meals. Very fair prices. Clean. Friendly. Staff taking precautions and wearing masks. They also sell really cute cloth masks right now. Nice produce and meat too. There is also a restaurant attached and you can order takeout. Ill admit, Id rather cook my own so Ive only had the restaurant food a couple of times but I have no complaints regarding the food Ive had there and I would recommend it.

Decent prices, clean and the Workers are always helpful!Its a family run restaurant/store so they closed down while they went to visit family for a week.And there were ALOT of people lost not knowing where to go while they were gone!!(but we understood they were on a well deserved vaca)This place is definitely a staple in our community!!!

Weve eaten at the restaurant and shopped at the small grocery in the front. It is great to see a Mexican store that sells tamales every day instead of just on weekends. They have different types of tamales and theyre good-sized. Its approximately 12 or $13 per dozen. I like the pork tamales. We had only eaten once at the restaurant so I cant really give a good review on the restaurant other than it was not very crowded, the waitress was friendly, and the decor was authentic.

I went in to purchase fresh cilantro and walked out with $45 worth of food. This little store is very clean, organized and well stocked. The employees were knowledgeable, helpful and kind. One piece of advice, buy the tamales. They are amazing!

For the first time bad. We loved their food before Covid. We got food last week and they went totally downhill. Small swipe of beans on tostadas skimpy toppings, could hardly see shrimp and beef and pork. Very disappointing.

If youre looking for good food skip this place. The meats for dishes are not seasoned and even the guacamole and sauces are bland. The only good thing is the mexican pop they sell in the store part of the business.
