Michaels is not just a clothes shop for adult his & her but has a great range of clothing for the kids at reasonable prices. What sets it apart from other clothes shops is that it has fantastic range of arts &crafts for all ages. Painting, modeling, knitting, craft building, soap making, picture framing and a great seasonable range of Halloween costumes and acessories. Also, very patient and helpful staff.

Went in for white vinyl letters and numbers. No luck. Cant use scrapbook letters, they dont last. Asked for window writers (colored shoe polish). No luck. I guess thats why I dont go here often.

I was looking for Orange Burst Glitter Paint and this store is then only one I could find it at. The store inventory is depleted and by the looks of the sign posted they are desperately seeking employees. Even though, the customer service associate who checked me out was second to none. I think her name was Jade and she deserves a callout!

Just go in not expecting to find help from staff, I was there for 20 minutes and didnt see a single employee until I went to check out at the ONE checker at the register. Good thing there was no line waiting, it must have been a down time. Also, dont expect all online orders to be in stock even if you get to order them. Inventory control is highly lacking. I ordered from three different stores for same day pickup only to get a text saying the item was not in stock. I go ally went in person to find the item needed.

Michaels has a great selection on Art and Craft supplies. It also has the lowest prices compared to other Art and Craft stores. Its always the first place I go if I need supplies.

Thia place is great for arts and crafts and the staff is always nice and helpful. Whenever our kids have a school project Michaels is where we go first. Very convenient to Cedar Park and close to 183 and 45 toll road.

I love Michaels! I go there any time we need any sort of craft supplies for any project whatsoever. From yarn and knitting needles to faux flowers and wreathes, theyve got it all!

Im assuming that you already know the whole pricing thing where the prices are raised a good bit so that the online coupon that is ALWAYS available beings it down to just below normal retail. The paint brush section is actually kind of organized, which for a Michaels store is mind blowing. Its not a scavenger hunt to find the 20/0 spotters like it is at other locations. Nothing really to complain about.

In spire of Covid, this place is back. Mask if you like, all of the items, ideas,, are there.

I have always loved Michaels, but they no longer have 40% coupons and their new program is not so great. I seem to never get rewards and when I do they expire so fast

Employees are nice but goodness, the framing is costly!! I went to get an estimate to frame a 24x36 with 4in matte and it was $634! This is including a $1K discount! If you can discount that much, that really begs the question of is this really overpriced. I think weve decided to pass, but I sure hate I had to drive an hour just to find out the cost.

Overpriced chain arts and crafts store. It was somewhat clean and organized considering the large amount of people inside. They had 4 of 5 registers open but the checkout line was extremely long. Decided to give up and shop elsewhere due to the very long line.

I experienced sexism and discrimination from the manager named Juliet at this location. Besides being extremely poorly managed and inefficient, this is not a safe or welcoming place for women or LGBT+ people and you should avoid this location for your mental health and safety. Even using the option for curbside pickup doesn’t protect you because that’s what I tried to do.I have placed 20+ orders from this location over the past 6 months and only a handful of those orders did not require me to return to the store to correct a problem. Usually, an item or 2 would be missing, but there were also several times when I received an entirely wrong order or a significant number of items I didn’t order at all. I run a small business, so I can’t afford to continuously drive back and forth to correct someone else’s errors. You might be asking yourself, “why didn’t you just go inside and get the items yourself?” Good question - there is a pandemic and I’m trying to limit my exposure to others as well as others’ exposure to me. Under normal circumstances, I would just go inside myself.I decided to call and escalate to a manager because there were repeatedly significant problems with my online orders and I wanted to try to get a resolution or at least bring the issue to the attention of management. I was shuffled around the store, referred to over and over by a demeaning, sexist pet name, hung up on, and ultimately my concerns were never resolved and the manager didn’t apologize despite outright insulting me, yelling at me, and causing me and my businesses hours of costs because of this store’s poor management and organization.During our call, Juliet kept me on the line for 30+ minutes without putting me on hold or muting her line, and proceeded to discuss other customer orders and store logistics with multiple staff members knowing that I could hear the conversations. I repeatedly asked her if she intended for me to hear the conversation and reminded her I was still on the line, and she kept making frustrated excuses about how overwhelmed she was with the holiday season. It took her collaborating with 3 other staff members and a half hour to confirm my order was ready for pickup. This all occurred 24 hours after receiving an email that my order was ready, driving to the store to pick it up, picking up an incomplete order, and calling the manager on duty that night for help, who told me to call back in the morning.The most frustrating part was that during the conversation, Juliet also called me a sexist pet name and I immediately asked her not to call me that name and told her she could use my first name instead. She did not apologize or even acknowledge that she had discriminated against me, and continued to call me the same demeaning word again and again. I was shaking by the end of the call because of her outright hatefulness and I was frightened to go back to the store because she threatened that she would personally come to my car to deliver my order. This is the most unprofessional behavior I’ve ever experienced at a business in my entire life and it made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. I do not shop at Michael’s anymore after this experience. Buyer beware!

Great place to pick up Art supplies, especially like when they have 50% off sales. I always grab prismacolor products when this happens. Theres usually a 50% off 1 item coupon on their website also.

The staff at the store were very friendly. Definitely ready to help in any way they could. It never fails when I walk in I find Something I didnt know I needed. The prices were very competitive and I love the clearance items at next to the register. It makes me feel a lot less guilty about those impulse purchases

Michaels does not stand behind their workmanship. I had a large sports-related panoramic picture framed by Michaels a few years ago. A few weeks ago, we heard a loud crash and broken glass from our guest room. The framed picture had come apart at two of the corners, fell from the wall and left broken plate glass all over the bed, wall and floor. Luckily, no one was in the bed at the time or they would have been cut pretty bad.The picture itself suffered from nicks and tears. We took what remained of the frame and picture to Michaels in Cedar Park. They agreed to replace the frame, but we would have to fix the picture ourselves and cover the glass at $108!!! (They should have replaced the whole piece and covered the repair of the picture.) As you can see from the attached pictures, whoever put this frame together, neglected to insert the dog-bone shaped clips into the corner joints. All it took was time for the glue-only joint to fail. Ive had $100s of frames done by Michaels. Are these going to fail too? I will never have another frame done by Michaels. You dont deserve the single star I was forced to select.

Ive been going to this store since June of 2020 after moving to the area and its by far the worst Michaels Ive ever delt with.I know the whole franchise uses the same buy online and pick up in store system, but the cedar park store can not get it figured out.Every week since June, Ive had to deal with a litany of issues when it comes to picking up online orders: Missing items, wrong items, entire orders being left in the back room, super long wait times when theres no line, orders not ready after getting an email saying its ready, and the list goes on!Most recently, they used the same invoice for two orders, and when I was given one. It closed the other. Que 2 days of speaking to management trying to explain that no I did not infact pick up the second order. They were very condescending, even after they discovered that the second order was indeed still in the store.When I spoke to management about it, the response I was given was well other customers are happy so I dont know what to tell you followed by well weve seen a lot more orders since the holidays to which I had to ask if the holidays started in June. And of course, the answer was no. Leading us back to square one.The only solution for my issue was a refund of the most recent items that were forgotten. That hardly covers the cost of time wasted in this store and on the phone for something so simple. Unfortunately for me, the materials I was after were for time sensitive projects for clients, so a return was out of the question.The incompetence for pick up orders and the lack of understanding from, Walter and Juliet, the managers need to be addressed by higher ups.

Convenient location with all the stuff you expect in a craft store. I was in and out in minutes.

Michaels is a great place to go and get your craft items. They have a lot of coupons and offer a military discount. They have a different selection of items compared to other craft stores, some items you would only be able to find online and not at any other local craft store. I highly recommend going to Michaels for your craft needs. They also accept competitors coupons.

Double check the tag with the item because often things are in the wrong spot during seasonal transitions. Usually not a big deal but it can be frustrating when you wait in a long line. Also, generally a very high mark up. If you need to be careful about spending then shopping here for crafts isnt the smartest idea. I do think that the staff is really nice and store is clean. They have about anything you need as far as arts and crafts go. Great place to get Christmas tree and decorations

Its the newest Michaels in the area and is located very close to Costco. The staff is very nice and friendly and always eager to help.The aisles are very organized and you wont have trouble looking for items here. Most of the time they have good amount of items on clearance, which either has a flat 80% off on the regular price or an additional percentage off the lowest ticketed price.The bathrooms are very clean.

I ordered an item online and went to pick it up. No one knew where to find the item or if they had it. After looking for awhile (I give them credit for that) they said the computer said they had some but they would have to offload their trucks to see if the could find it. They said they would email and credit my card if they couldnt locate the item. The refund email came the next day. I figured out another plan and would hesitate to do that again.

This is the Michaels closest to my house, so I frequent it most often. Its a fairly new store. Its always clean, and the shelves are stocked. The employees are usually friendly and helpful.

This weekend I was out running a bunch of shopping errands, and I went to Micheal’s for some craft supplies after searching in other stores a few days prior. Since Micheal’s is all about crafts, I quickly found everything I needed (even if it was a bit pricey, but Micheal’s has really good coupons, so there isn’t much to complain about!) and I had a good experience!

I pretty much go to Michaels once to twice a week. I love this store! This is one of the further locations from my house or work, but I was in the area and decided to pop in for the first time. Makes me wish I lived closer to this area, there was a great selection of items, the store was updated and fresh. The employees were super friendly, much friendlier than other locations that I frequent.The parking was easy to get in and out of. There wasnt anything that I could not like!

I love Michaels and typically can find everything I need but this past Saturday I looked for a Christmas tree for my mom but they did not have any of the trees that I needed in stock. So I went online, bought it online then got an email the next day that it was ready for pick up. I go to pick it up a couple of days later only to find out it was the display tree that they were giving me. It was not dismantled, would not have had a box. It is not brand new, I mean it is the display tree and after going back-and-forth with I suppose the floor manager who said we dont give discounts on trees, and I cant do anything, we dont have a box for it, etc I did my best Karen let me speak to your manager speech. I spoke to him, he handled it very well and was professional and listened to my concerns. I was very happy when I left, so kudos to him, I believe his name was Harold. So I will still shop there, where 15 minutes prior, I wasnt.

Great array of most craft supplies. Its not as specialized as other places like Joann Fabrics and Crafts, which means it has a wide variety rather than an exauhstive selection. However, if youre looking for something commonplace, go elsewhere, as I find that Michaels can be pricy despite the coupons available on their website.

This is my second favorite Michaels to shop at! The aisles are usually very neat which is some sort of crazy when you take into account of how much stuff they have. Sometimes the paint section gets messy, but Ive been witness to children stuffing it up.
