This is the second time Gilbert showed a lack of professionalism and I have learned he was dishonest with me!Last time he told me my truck needed a new motor and paid me only $600, but with cash only! Obviously to not leave a paper trail.He tried to do it again with my other car this past week, and come to find out the car does not need nearly all the work he said!!I think he has a scam going with this type of business practice so don’t fall for it like I did! I’m sure he made quite a bit of money on my truck.I feel he takes advantage of females who don’t know about cars. He is also disrespectful and does not keep his promises!

I had an appointment with Gilbert to check my AC freon. I talked to him on Monday, and he told me to bring it in on Wednesday morning as he was busy with other cars. I arrived at 8:50 on Wed only to be told by the guy at the counter that I would have to leave it there. I drove about 30 minutes to get there and did not expect to have to leave it there since I already had an appointment. So, unfortunately I had to leave unhappy. Wasted an hour of drive time and didnt get my AC fixed. This was the first I went to this place and it will be the last.

The service was great and done quickly. I had lights coming on that other automotive shops couldnt fix. It took less time than predicted to fix and about $300 cheaper than quoted.

This is the second time Ive taken my car to Computer Age Automotive and just like the first time, i received excellent service and quality repairs. Its hard to find an auto shop that has their customers best interests in mind rather than trying to make a buck, so Im happy that Computer Age Automotive was recommended to me by a friend. Thank you Brad for helping me on both of my visits, youve earned my trust and Ill be a lifetime customer for all of my auto repair and maintenance needs.

I own a carpet cleaning company, with a combined total of 6 vehicles and additional cleaning machines that they have regularly worked on. Super fair accross the board for how and when they charge for diag, for the repairs themselves, how they work with customers, and their warranty. I have been through four automotive shops trying to find a good one, they have all ended up with one star reviews because most mechanics are scammy.... computer age automotive has proved themselves time and time again. Highly recommend!

Ill put it to you simply, can you trust a mechanic that wont shake your hand? Oh, and this was before Covid.

Extremely rude and unprofessional employee that works there charged me an undisclosed amount after asking me to drop the car off. I wasn’t even informed that there was going to be an additional charge for them diagnosing the car. Needless to say, I will never be coming back.

Very helpful, nice and upfront/honest about repairs...whick wasnt as expensive as I thought. Our truck was repaired quickly and running great now! Family owned business thats been part of the Cedar Park community for over 15 yrs or more.

They wanted to charge me $4000 for a computer plus installation and that it might not even fix the problem. Ended up going to another mechanic and it turns out it wasnt even a computer issue but a short on a wire. Seems like after paying computer age close to $300 to diagnose the vehicle they would have found the problem. Something doesnt add up. Beware.

My review is from the HORRIBLE experience I had with Computer Age Automotive a few years ago. I didnt have a Google account back then but I never forgot the experience I had here. 4 years ago should give you an idea of how bad they are if I still remember and am taking the time to post it now! It was the typical bait and switch they quoted me a price on replacing the Head Gasket with refurbishing the Head. I had paid quite a bit to have my car towed 14 miles here to have the work done. It was there 1 day when I got a call from them saying they will do the job and it would be more. it was TWICE (90% increase) the price they quoted me stating it needed another part. That part not only wasnt truly needed, it only covered 20% of the inflated rate they gave me. The more I questioned why they would not honor the price they quoted me, the manager would only focus on that extra part and saying it didnt matter what I was told, this is what it needs !! it didnt matter? His employees word had zero value!!!! I did not get my car fixed by this shop, I do not do business with organizations that lack Integrity. This has stayed in my mind for several reasons, one being it was the first dealing I had with an Auto Shop after moving here. I tell this story to EVERYONE I interact with about cars and bad business examples. They do not even deserve the 1 star Google gives them. I have found an excellent shop I am completely happy with... STAY CLEAR of Computer Age Automotive!

I have going to Computer Age for years and have never been disappointed. They are so courteous and have always been fair in pricing. I will NOT go to anyone else for my car. They have such a friendly staff and the owner is amazing. This is a family owned business and I never have to worry that they are trying to sell parts that I really dont need. I am a single mother and I have been to other auto repair places and when they see a woman, they have a tendency to see dollar signs in their eyes (ladies, you know what I mean). Anyway, I dont worry about that anymore ever since I found Computer Age Automotive. Thank you, thank you for an honest place where I can bring my car!!!

You cant beat this place. We dropped our vehicle off and it was fixed the same day. This will be the last place you ever need for your car repairs. Honest, fast and done right. I was driving down the road when my car started stalling out. I drove a little further, then white smoke started coming out of the engine. I was lucky that I was able to make it to a auto repair shop, which happened to be Computer Age Automotive. With their diagnostic testing they were able to find out what the problems were. Gilbert called me and explained in detail what work needed to be done and what the cost would be, which was very reasonable. They completed the work on my car quickly and efficiently. I also found out this shop is independently owned, another plus in my book!

I was in from out of town and my A/C gave out. These guys diagnosed it as a compressor issue that would require replacing a lot of the parts. I had to have to leave town before they could get the parts in, but they were able to disconnect the A/C system (by cutting a belt) so it wouldnt rattle, and only charged me $66.I called back to a place at home so they could order the parts before I got back, and they quoted me about 10% less, but I havent gotten the final bill yet. I cant speak much for the quality of the work, but with as much repeat business as I saw while I sat in the waiting room, there must be some reason people keep coming back.

Ive had 4 cars (Chevy, Ford, Toyota, VW) serviced by them in the last 15 years. They are fair and truthful. I wont go anywhere else and the few times I have Ive regretted it.
