He made it his point to put his name on everything... call backs, realistic cost estimates, explained that the rebuild process to help me make a informed decision. I do all my own mechanical maintenance on all my fleet, so he spoke to my level of understanding. I believe he would do the same to every customer. I had a family emergency in the middle of the repair and had to leave town. He accommodated my needs, with assurance, that my truck would be repaired and ready when I got back from the trip. He would safely look after my vehicle until then. He explained the cause of the failure of my transmission in detail and explained the break-in process of how my ECM would relearn this shifting characteristics of my truck. I would rate his customer service A+++. Absolutely would refer everyone to his shop. They provide a 3 yr warranty. Cant beat that!!! Great communication too.

I had my front and rear solid axel of my 2004 ram2500 re geared and all bearings replaced. Rick did a great job keeping in touch and overall providing good quality work, and doing so in a very ethical manner. I personally never use shops because I usually do my own work, but I am definitely glad to have a quality trustworthy shop to help out.

They had good communication with me. They set realistic expectations for the time frame and cost of my truck repair. While they had the transmission out, they found another part that needed to be replaced. They replaced it with a new one (that I paid for), but did not charge for labor because that part had to be reinstalled either way. The fact that they brought it to my attention when they did to save me some money earns my respect. They want me to bring the truck back for a courtesy check in 500 miles to make sure their work is performing as it should. Very professional.

Great place. Very transparent. I do 99% of my vehicle maintenance and repairs. When my day job gets extremely busy and I can’t make time to work on my own cars, I go to places that car guys trust. It’s been three years since I’ve let a shop touch any of my vehicles. This is a great place willing to go the complicated route for making the right fix and not throw parts at it. The communication was spectacular! I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends.Details on my experience:2005 Silverado 2500hd 6.0 single cab. High compression heads and cam.I had a terrible vibration and noise coming from underneath truck. This is a slightly modified pickup with extra high mileage. I feared the torque converter was going out because of my aftermarket camshaft but the guys at eagle discovered my drive shaft u-joints were all toast as well as the shaft itself being damaged from previous owner. They took it to a drive shaft shop and had it cut and welded and rebalanced for me. In good measure, they rebalanced my wheels just to make sure the vibration went away entirely. Then... Murphy showed up again in my life and took a steamer on my throttle body while the truck was on its final test drive. And, they got it all wrapped up during the great Austin freeze of 2021.These guys were great to me and if you’re reading this as someone who works on cars yourself unsure of where to take your daily driver, just bring it to eagle in cedar park.

They listened to every concern I had and took good notes and notified me with the conclusion.

This place was great from start to finish. They found the problem, gave me a quote and had me back on the road by the end of the week. I work out of my truck all over Austin and after a few weeks it’s driving perfect. So glad I went to Eagle for great customer service and quality workmanship.

Had my transmission rebuilt here and the work was excellent. Came with a 3 year guarantee as well. I can vouch for their honesty as I haven taken 2 cars there previously.The first one they checked out and drove and told me the problem. It was not the transmission and they recommended another shop which could do the repair. There was no charge for diagnosing the problem.The second one did need a new transmission but we decided due to the age of the car not to have it done. Again, there was no charge for diagnosing the problem.This year, we had a problem with a car we wanted to keep. It was the transmission and they got it rebuilt and back on the road in 3 days so we could make our Christmas Eve trip to Houston.They will give you the up front estimate and let you decide what you want to do. Keep in mind that today, most transmission rebuilds are in the neighborhood of $5,000 give or take a few hundred.They do some work other than transmissions, so give them a call if you need an honest mechanic to look at your problem.

Had a mechanics shop look at our problematic Dodge diesel (shocker) and they said the transmission needed to be replaced. They couldnt give us an estimated time frame so we decided to try a shop. So glad we did! They did a free diagnosis and recommended full overhaul. It was a good price and a 2 business day turnaround. Highly recommend!

I was searching for a repair shop for my grandsons car. The auto repair shop that I work with does not have the equipment to work on a 2 wheel drive. I live in Burnet & no one around here seemed to have time to even look at the car. They also wanted to charge me to diagnose the problem. When I reached out to Tony I was told they could diagnose at no charge. Ended up needing to do a rebuild of the transmission. This was the last thing that I wanted to hear, however I hoped for the best but was prepared for the worse. Tony explained to me what they found in detail. When they actually got into it, it was worse than they thought. So thank you Tony for saving me & my grandson more trouble down the road & maybe even a total loss of the car. There were a couple of part delays, however that could not have been foreseen. Tony kept in contact with me thru the whole process. I would give him 20 stars if I could. This is the 2nd vehicle I’ve had the transmission overhauled on at this shop, best transmission shop I’ve seen. They honor their warranty without question, but definitely do it right the first time. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. They don’t catfish you on price and reliably get vehicles out on time. I drive from almost 2 hours away to make sure it’s Tony’s work, don’t waste your money anywhere else!

Tony and the crew over at Eagle did a great job working with our truck. They walked us through the process of what they were doing and the diagnostics. Unfortunately it was an internal issue, and the transmission had to be rebuilt. They were extremely fast and efficient. We dropped the truck off on Friday, and by midday Tuesday we had it back in our possession. Thanks for getting it back to us so soon.

Very impressed with Tony and my experience. My 2011 Subaru Outback has a blown torque converter and was days from a totally destroyed transmission.Eagle Transmission was able, in the middle if the Covid-19 pandemic, get my vehicle in to the shop, do a complete rebuild, and at less than half what the dealership would have been.We are a one car family and especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, our vehicle is paramount to our survival. My car failed on the side of I-35 on the way to work. It was originally towed to a general shop, but once I had the diagnosis (transmission and clutch), I asked for it to be towed to Eagle Transmission. They fixed my clutch a couple years back with great success (for the record, my clutch was fine - thats not why it needed replacing - until it tried to help my transmission that started failing). Tony and his guys took my car in immediately and got to work, diagnosing themselves and ordering parts. They drove me to a car rental shop and waited until I had a car. My car was fixed by the end of the day the NEXT day. He also beat the price the first shop gave me with a better warranty to boot. About a week after the rebuild/replacement, I needed a clutch adjustment, and they fixed that quickly, too, without charge. Thanks, Tony! Hope not to be back (hahaha) but I know where to go if I need help!

Honestly cant speak highly enough of the guys at Eagle. I had an unusual sound coming from what I had thought to be either my transmission or rear differential, had no inkling as to what the issue could be, and within 30 minutes of bringing the vehicle by (unscheduled just called in) the guys had figured out the issue and communicated it to me.Entire process was great, communication was open, and the fix was timely beyond belief.Definite repeat customer in me.

Transmission decided to go out on the way to work one day and these guys made the repair easy and painless. If you have any transmission problems with your vehicle, I HIGHLY recommend you go to Eagle Transmission in Cedar Park and talk to Ken Smith. Ken conducts business in a very honest, straightforward manner.He will not sell you anything you dont absolutely need. I was prepared to pay for a replacement or rebuilt transmission. But all I had was an electrical communication issue with my Transmission Control Module, something I had to take to the dealer to resolve. Ken did not charge me for this diagnosis.

Went in with a clutch that was deader than dead, came out with a clutch that feels like a brand new car. The manager Ken was always in touch for any questions i had and definitely knew his stuff. They worked on my Mini Cooper 04 took them about a week and am very pleased with the work so far.

This is one of the best car service transactions I have ever received. We took our Infiniti QX56 in with over 180k miles. Tony, the general manager there, is exceptional in communicating exactly what may need to happen upon FREE DIAGNOSIS! He gives it to you straight, and offers timely service and communication. While we had our vehicle there longer than anticipated, Tony clearly communicated what the delays were and were also offered a loaner car for the long maintenance action of replacing our transmission and catalytic converters.Despite the high expense, which is expected for such a big repair on a luxury vehicle, and the delays, I have zero regrets coming here. They also offer 3 years of warranty on our transmission too! Unheard of for this repair. Everyone else is 12k miles/12mo warranty.Finally, while they ran into some additional expenses which was evident by the delays and procuring parts, they stuck to the estimate to ensure they didnt surprise their customer. More than fair and appreciated.Due to this experience, I intend to use them for other maintenance and upgrades to my other vehicle.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I do not generally leave reviews unless service is definitely sub-par or unless it is definitely above and beyond… thankfully the latter is the case in this instance. And since finding an automotive repair facility that a person can confidently recommend that has shown honesty and integrity is a rarity, I feel compelled to leave a review for Eagle transmission in Cedar Park.I came home from being out of town for a week to find a family members vehicle in my garage with obvious repairs needed under the hood. After completing the repairs, I noticed a transmission fluid leak that was easy enough to remedy with a few turns of a wrench. What was not easy was determining how much fluid had leaked out since this vehicle is manufactured without a transmission fluid dip stick. It is considered a ‘sealed system’ that is not user serviceable…. unbelievable. It is required to take it to a transmission service facility to have the fluid checked or added to.I called Eagle Transmission in Cedar Park and explained the vehicle had a transmission fluid leak that I fixed, but needed them to check it and add fluid if needed. As I drove it to their shop, I noticed that the transmission engagement did seem to be vague at times and I explained this to the service writer when I got there. He said that I would have to leave it there for a day or two, but he would check it, top it off, perform a road test and call me back with the results.When he called back he said they had to add OVER 4 QUARTS of fluid, that it did fine on the road test and there would be NO CHARGE!When you drop a vehicle off with the transmission slipping you are at the mercy of the shop operator’s integrity…. they can tell you anything under the sun and it is difficult to verify or contest. I cannot convey the level of gratitude I have for this shop’s honesty.Thank you very much Eagle Transmission in Cedar Park!

Eagle Transmission is truly a great business in a day and age of many poor mechanic shops. My mother in law has a 2002 Ford Explorer that has had the transmission rebuilt twice previously by two other local transmission shops. Both times the rebuilds failed within a year. She drives less than 10,000 miles a year and is not hard on the vehicle.This time I took the Explorer to Eagle Transmission based on a recommendation of a friend.
