Miller Family Eye care has gone above and beyond to ensure my lenses are exactly the way I want them. Every person there has been so incredibly kind and helpful. I don’t really ever leave reviews, but the amount of time they have spent helping me has been a lot. I can really appreciate everyone there.

I switch here after a couple of years at another local clinic. Every interaction has been great! Most recently I met with a new doctor at Miller, and feel like I had the most thorough exam ever. As I talked about my prescription he heard me mention the most recent change, he then spent extra time reviewing that change with some added tests outside of his normal scope. This lead to reverting my prescription since the change was not needed. Huge selection of glasses, quality staff, these guys are great. I can’t say enough.

Dr. Miller is always great with my whole family! She does a great job of making the kids feel comfortable and explaining everything so they will understand!

Have been seeing Dr. Miller for several years. She is professional, very knowledgable and takes time with the exam and answering questions. Her staff is proficient, friendly and customer oriented.

Dr. Camerer is the best! Ive been to other eye doctors who didnt take the time to give me a proper diagnosis. Dr. Camerer is thorough, as well as nice! The whole staff is great and I was seen immediately.

Dr. Miler and her team always provide a fantastic experience. They are professional, courteous, and screenings and the exam are state of the art. My whole family is pleased with our care there. They also have adapted safe practices for the pandemic.

Disappointed. It seems as if since the main office lady left that was the LIFE of the place it’s nothing but unorganized. Waited back in the exam room for atleast 20 minutes before I was seen by the doctor, to which I was told there was an emergency and the doctor was delayed. Which was fine, however it would of been nice to know that at the time I was seated in the room. I was told trial contacts were to be ordered and should come in within a week, I called almost 2 weeks later asking where my trials were and were told they were never ordered but should arrive in less then a week. Once again, a week later I called and they hadn’t arrived and was told they were on back order. After seeing 3 doctors at this office over the years, I highly suggest you search elsewhere before selecting this unorganized place to go to for an eye exam.

Love there store very spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the area it was located.I wont know how the glasses are yet till a month from now. So far so good..

I just didn’t have a good experience here. Glasses were ordered…I had to constantly check in with the staff to see if they were in. I had zero communication. I was told my lenses hadn’t come in and one staff member said they weren’t in and the next staff member had them in hand. Just a really bad experience, I would like to add originally they said they would reach out. No one ever did reach out.

I felt very welcomed, cared for, and had a great time with the gentleman, Mark, that helped me pick out my new frames. Dr. Miller takes her time, asks questions, and makes sure you feel heard, and understand anything youve discussed. Its a wonderful office, and I recommend everyone go there!

Overall, I had an outstanding experience at Miller Family EyeCare. Fantastic service and wait-times. Im generally pretty low maintenance with my vision needs. From the moment I walked in until I left, I felt very taken care of by the staff and would recommend this place to everyone!

I had been to another eye Dr last year. Was not happy with the service. So I chose Miller. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Not only that, their diagnosis and Rx for my eyes were excellent. Prices for brand name frames were better than competitors in Cedar Rapids. Also no pressure.

The eye doctor explained things very well, nothing felt rushed and he was very professional.

I worked for Miller family Eye care years ago so I know that they do a fantastic job with making sure they do a great job with each patient. My entire family now goes there as well. I am however extremely disappointment with my recent experience. I of course wanted to have the best care for my son when picking his first visit to the eye Dr. I set an appointment and unfortunately had an emergency that came up and didnt make the appointment. The last of my concern was to call right away to the Eye Dr. when there was something more important that had my full attention with my son. So I ended up calling to reschedule his appointment explained that I was sorry. They now have my account noted to never reschedule an appointment for my son at all forever! Completely refusing to see a 1 year old forever is very sad. Consider my son didnt do absolutely anything wrong! I can understand if its something that had happened a few times but this was 1 single time and the first time I have ever missed an appointment for my son.

So very friendly. I had an appointment within a couple days of calling.They explained everything to me in detail as this is my first experience needing glasses & they were very helpful on picking out the glasses that fit me best. I highly recommend Miller Family Eye care.

This was my first time going to this office and I would recommend it. Very friendly staff. Anita was very helpful while scheduling my exam and while doing my testing. She is a very enjoyable person to work with! Dr. Groth was very nice to work with, also. He took his time with my eye exam to get my contacts RX right.

Outrageous prices (even with insurance) and they didn’t notice stigmatism and when I told them I couldn’t see out of my glasses and was getting bad headaches after a week of getting new lenses they simply told me I wasn’t wearing them enough?After this went on for weeks they were still no help. They will never have my business again.

Miller eye care is the best place you can go to for all your eye needs. The staff is truly wonderful, and Dr. Miller is simply amazing and so caring. I resented had a procedure done to help resolve severe dry eyes because my oil glands were damaged and were non-functioning. To be honest, there was some discomfort while it was happening, but it is well worth it. And when and if it needs to done again, I am all in. I recommend that you do the blinking exercises everyday, actually several times a day only helps. I used to put eye drops in 3-4 times EVERY day. Since I had this done... I have not used them since, because they are not needed. Please don’t delay, if you are having issues, you can get relief. Thank you for everything...

They are great! They got me in on a last minute notice for what ended up being a corneal ulcer. On top of that they were willing to squeeze me in for a late appointment follow up. I appreciate their commitment to their patients!

Dr. Groth was so good with my 5 year old. He also talked him, and me through everything he was doing before he did it to make sure we understood what what going on! Everyone there was so nice and helpful!

Miller Family Eye Care has an exceptional staff. Dr. Miller is kind and takes her time to get to know you and answer questions. The selection of frames assures that everyone in the family has plenty to choose from. I cant imagine going anywhere else for eye care.

I appreciate the extra steps Miller Eye Care took to insure my safety and health on May 14, during the Covid outbreak- inviting me in individually from my car, taking temperature check, employees and customers wearing masks, and assuring that all equipment immediately disinfected between uses. Wife went to see dr. Miller complaint was could not see far or close doctor gave me a prescription for glasses when she got the glasses a couple days later was told me she could not see very well still sitting sometimes it takes a few days for your eyes to adjust so my wife left Now 8 months later she said I still cant read I can see better to drive but I cant read so we went back saw Doctor Miller again dr. Miller says your prescription is fine no changes frustrated we went to see a different doctor the other doctor said well your wife prescriptions good but she is in need of bifocals and a very strong reading prescription how do u miss that it just seems like her office is a little too busy and they dont take the time to give you the care thats needed its just like a robotic movement just to collect those dollars

Everyone I encountered at my appointment yesterday was awesome. From the front desk staff when checking in, to Dr. Groth during the eye exam, to the woman in optical who helped me order contacts and check out. I had been going to the same eye doctor for the past 15 years, and being new to town I was skeptical trying out a new office and doctor, but Miller Family EyeCare and Dr. Groth exceeded any expectations I had. I’ll be going back to them for any eye care needs in the future.

I was traveling and just got the mail about a $10 bill. They sent me a threatening bill that the $10 bill will go to collections. You could have also just email or call me for the $10. I travel a lot and not able to check mails every single day. Sending a threatening bill mail is not a good customer service. You have lost my respect to your organization.

Miller Eyecare does my routine eye exams. They even gave me a same day appointment after I staryed seeing floaters and flashes of light. They are first rate!

Very happy with the care we received.

I think on one of my visits they were very busy and trying hard. However, overall their level of service was good. It was their cost that killed me it seemed like everything they said I needed was extra my insurance paid for a certain dollar amount and I spent $450.00 more for a set of glasses.

Dr. Hibbing is a very caring, knowledgeable, and kind eye care professional. I highly recommend her when looking for an optometrist.
