Great offer and suuuuper easy purchase of a Yamaha scooter today. I was at a different dealership and thought I was getting fooled, called Renegade and Rad gave me an over the phone out-the-door quote that beat the small town dealer by $800! No joke. I ran over to Renegade and rode off on the scooter an hour later. Very pleased.
This place is the best! The owner and staff are always so friendly and eager to help. I would recommend them for any parts, service, gear, and new machines you may need or want. Dont hesitate and pay them a trip, you wont regret it!
Sorry, this is a bit long of a review. Its a motorcycle focused review as opposed to ATV or SxS.Ive been here multiple times over the years. Theyve always been honest with me. Ive mostly gone in to see the inventory, but not to purchase. Theyve been respectful of that. The parts department was very helpful, and because its a little smaller than the other two nearest Kawasaki dealers I dont have to walk through the whole building just for some parts. Call ahead for availability, but I felt the prices were fair, and I was surprised when a bigger dealer didnt have some parts which Renegade did.Id put 5 stars, but Im sure there is room to improve somewhere. I think there isnt as much inventory, but thats a result of the current global supply chain issues. Plus, since its a smaller building (well, its not really tiny), its probably a challenge to display every available bike. They seem to be emphasizing the popular SxS market now.
The team there will help you however they can. The parts department is really good at keeping as many things in the stock as they can. The parts team is great and thats why I keep going back.
These guys are a great option for any service on your bike. They got my YZ taken care of quickly and I got to rip around today for the first time since they serviced it. Runs like a dream thanks to Renegade.
They were very helpful and friendly they have too many fees when you buy a machine I dont know how many of them are necessary but hopefully it will all be worth it and well have lots of fun.
Worth the extra drive. I was pleased with the sales staff. They went the extra mile. And I walked out a happy customer. Go there...
Chad was a great contact for buying out klx. He was organized, available when we called and returned emails. He prepared the office staff and shop to have the bike and paper work ready. Someone commented on the fees being too high. All shops charge these fees on a new bike. We found their fees be lowered than other shops. All the fees made sense to us. These places need to make money and I know these bikes dont have high markups. We have tried to use karl malone powersports with repeated failures. So glad we found renegade.
Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice place
Rad & Snake are awesome! Shop at Renegade Sports for all of your OHV & dirt bike needs. I bought a medium Fox helmet & it didn’t fit right. I brought it back today & he let me exchange it out & gave me merchandise credit. I was so stressed out about this helmet, but Renegade Sports took care of me & I will be coming back here for all my OHV needs & maintenance.
STAY FAR FAR A WAY FROM HERE! Let me start off by saying this place has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I dropped 13k purchasing a brand new 2017 KTM dirt bike along with a few accessories and a KTM Kick start kit. I was originally told that it would take 2 days to have the Kick starter installed once the parts arrived. When I called to see if parts arrived I was told install would take a week and that they do not schedule appts. for service first come first serv. Okay??? Not what I was told when I payed for the bike and parts! When I dropped off the bike with a mere 4.5 hours and 100 miles on the clock I was told 1 1/2 weeks. 8 days later when I called for an update I was told another 2 weeks. After becoming annoyed I went to see if they even started working on it with plans to take somewhere else if they hadnt. To my surprise I was told it would be done the next day by Scott the Service Manager only to be told 5 mins. later by Rad the G.M. that there was a problem. Rad walked me into the back to show me a silver dollar sized hole blown through the inner case where the Kick start shaft seats. He then began to blame the issue on poor build quality of KTM cases. He said he had been emailing KTM for several hours yet just 5 mins prior Scott the service manager knew nothing about the damage to my bike and that there would be a delay returning it to me. After leaving and calming down I realized that I was told just 1 day before by the Scott the S.M. that it would be another 2 weeks. The next morning I called Rad and explaining to him that the stories Ive been told dont add up and I now believe they damaged my bike and attempted to cover it up. He told me that Scott was not aware of the damage when he told me it would be done the next day(Seems strange that the one person that should know what was going in the service dept knew nothing but attempted to stall me for 2 more weeks just a day prior!) After being told my only option was to let them get parts from KTM and fix it under warranty I reluctantly agreed to let them fix it. I was also told by Rad that he would also like to install the kick start kit that I had already paid to have installed to show that they are trying to take car of me. At this point I requested Rad to send me pictures of the damaged case for my records and you guessed it I never received them. Several days later Rad called and said the bike was going back together and should be ready the next day I requested the pictures again. Still nothing. Shocker The next day I called to see if it would be ready and was told it was indeed ready. When I asked if it ran good and KICK STARTED correctly I was told it runs great and they didnt install the Kick starter that it was there for in the first place. WAIT WHAT? At this point I told Rad I would come pick it up and just get my money back for the kick starter and labor. When I arrived Scott greeted me and help me load the bike at which point I questioned how he didnt know what was going on and explained to him it seems as I was lied to. That it felt like the tech caused the damage and that they were trying to cover it up by delaying me for an additional 2 weeks but that when I arrived to check on it they had to come clean that the was an issue. Heres were things get interesting I was told that by Scott that this type stuff happens all the time and he believed that the TECH damaged the case installing the parts wrong! WOW! At this point I asked to take pics of the cases that I asked Rad for and went in to get my refund from Rad to only have him charge my card instead of refunding what I paid in the first place, resulting in him having to then refund double the amount of what I paid for the kit and labor. As I was leaving I noticed one of my amber colored reflectors had been broken the license plate bracket and upon arriving home noticed one of the bolts holding my plastic hand guards was missing and the hand guard was loose. Lets hope the motor doesnt have missing or loose bolts too!!! WHAT A JOKE! Wish I read the reviews first
Fernando was an awesome salesperson to work with; very professional and knowledgeable of dirt bikes. Shop is well run with polite mechanics that helped in the sales process. Would recommend this shop to anyone shopping for a Yamaha, KTM, or Kawasaki
They have NO rear fourwheeler seats/storage in stock. They had 5 salesman and maybe 0 or 1 mechanic on Saturday in the summer time aka peak season. They said they are 2 months out. They dont work on simple Yamaha Jog scooters from 1993 even though they said that they have access to all the parts still. They need to value the mechanics more so that they have more passion and drive! It was a sad place to be. But they did have good hourly mechanic prices and they can do really simple stuff like engine compression tests and oil changes and put tires on. LOL It really was so sad...maybe this is normal now days...an employee there mention that a place in bountiful dosent work on stuff older than 2010 lol! Are ambitious mechanics really that hard to find!?
I have bought several bikes and machines and lots of partsfrom them. These guys are always awesome! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.
Awesome people, fantastic deals.Rad and Nando ROCK!!!
Just before a weekend trip we needed an ATV part. Renegade didn’t have it. Due to COVID-19 an ordered part was estimated to take months. The parts counter took the time to search their system and found the part at another nearby dealer, helping to insure a quick repair and a more enjoyable trip. Great service. Thanks Renegade.
Didnt buy anything but dropped in to see their selection. By far one of the best motorsports shops ive been in. Chad was great and prompt at answering my questions and giving personal feedback on the machines i was interested in. Definitely will be making my next purchase here and update my rating afterwards.
I have bought MANY dirt bikes and ATVs from Renegade. Rad, Nando, parts and service--the entire team is fantastic! As a small business owner myself, I know the pitfalls of dealing with the public. I appreciate that they seem genuinely pleased to see me walk through the front door. Today I just needed a few things for this rare Husqvarna TC449. They took the time to help me out, and I left with a smile, as usual.
While looking for a new side by side we tried to find a dealer with a Yamaha x4 we could test drive having tried a Kawasaki Teryx and a Honda Pioneer 1000-5. They had only one and it was on a display rack out in the parking lot. No way to even sit in it. The salesman didnt seem to interested in what we wanted even when I told him we were ready to buy today and seemed to be the only customers there. We ended up buying a Honda with a winch, roof and glass windshield as well as a trailer later that day from another dealer. Still wish I could have tried out the Yamaha x4 first but I wont beg someone to sell me something.
Brought my bike in before a work trip to have them do some work. One of those tasks was a putting a chain on (i supplies the chain). They had my bike for nearly 4 weeks before they called and said the master link didn’t fit (which I thought was weird) and that it was a common issue. They told me I could buy a new chain from them. Thinking it was fishy, I called the shop I bought it from and they said it was such a good chain they never heard of that issue and thought this shop was trying to get me to buy something. When I called back to tell them not to put on a new chain of their own, the guy I spoke with seemed angry and said there was nothing the other shop could do. I picked up my bike, paid and left. After looking at the receipt and RO i didn’t notice 1 of the tasks I had asked for mentioned on there. I called and asked and they told me it was done. Within minutes I get another call saying the techs didn’t see it on the RO and didn’t actually do it. So for the 4 weeks they had my bike, of the 4 items I needed done, they accomplished 2. The other 2... 1 was “unable” to be done... and the 2nd was forgotten. This shop seems extremely unorganized, the staff doesn’t seem professional and friendly either. It seems as tho they are constantly making me excuses/acting dishonest. They also charged me for a “‘miscellaneous” item and when I asked about it he said he wasn’t sure what it was and that it was always there and tried to tell me it was for this and this. All in all, my experience with this shop was piss poor and I wouldn’t recommend bringing anything to them.
These guys are amazing! Every time I go in, they go above and beyond to take care of us. Ive honestly never experience such great customer service. I wont go anywhere else.
I use to really like this place. I purchased a new dirt bike a few years ago from Renegade and had a very good experience. I even would go in after for gear, parts, and oil for my bike and everyone there was very helpful and informative. Lately this place has gone downhill. Their inventory is very low with most everything now. Some staff members dont seem like they want to help or are too busy to help and act aggravated. Today I went in and it was definitely my last time going here. I called ten minutes before going in and asked if they had a grab handle for my specific bike. With out even going to look I was told that they did and who ever I spoke with seemed like they were in a hurry. I then went in to go and get it and was told by the parts guys that they do not stock those and that who ever I spoke with was wrong. I have had a few of these types of similar experiences with Renegade lately and will be taking my business somewhere else.
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I will never use this place again.
Got new bike for wife was great
My saviors!!! I would recommend this shop to anyone. The consumer service by all was amazing and the mechanic great. Thanks Kevin. I was on my ktm 950 from British Columbia to destination unknown when my bike needed work and parts. Being a older bike Scott, Zach and pony did a great job locating and getting them to the shop as fast as possible. Kevin kept me informed and had everything on my bike, ready to go ASAP. Thanks so much for everything! Eh!
Called in response to an ad they had posted (the ad stated call for more info), seemed like they had good deals on some end-of-year closeouts. I tried to get pricing on a motorcycle purchase. The salesman said they dont give pricing over the phone or through email because people shop around and theres no loyalty in the game. When I told him I wasnt going to drive over an hour not knowing any prices he hung up on me. Not a very good way to build a new loyal customer base.
Matt and Garrett, the whole team, made my experience enjoyable. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. My kid didn’t want to leave. I highly suggest this place!! Tomac for the win!
Awesome staff. Good guys who love what they do. Service shops always get a bad rap cause customers always want something free. Crazy customers.I like these guys better than Layton Cycle and sports. You can read my review on them if you please.Renegade does not have the best pricing on everything, but I like keeping my money local the best I can and so far I wanna keep it with these guys!
The parts department has a bad attitude. The parts guy I spoke with over the phone needs to learn what good customer service is and have some respect. If you call them I highly recommend you know exactly what you want because they are no help. If you dont believe me call them and see for yourself.
Worked on ATV Reasonable prices also looked at side by side will go back and buy one
Service guy in the back office is a complete tool, but the sales guys were nice.. Due to the 1 guy in the back, I have no interest in going back to the store and will go into stores that are welcoming.
Purchased my bike form these guys awhile back. Had a great experience. Friendly group of people with great pricing.
Quality recreation sports dealer! My friends and I get our bikes from here.
Thanks Kevin!I bought a new klr650 and had some weird electrical issues. When I was able to bring the bike up they thought I was dropping it off but I had planned to stick around. Kevin squeezed me in even though he was busy. Found the simple electrical issue I had caused, and changed the oil. They oiled the chain, washed off the engine, adjusted cables everything. He then walked me around the bike when we were done to show all that he did and what he had checked. Also gave me some needed tips. Thanks Kevin and Scott 5 stars
Worst customer service. Avoiding this place like the plague from now on.
I had a great purchasing experience. However, on their website they have the financing application that I filled out and never heard back from them. I called the Logan store and they informed me that all of my personal information just goes to nowhere and they dont usually use any of that information because it isnt detailed enough. Once that mess was sorted out it was a very positive experience.
Very accommodating with both sales and service. I live in the general area, so it was nice to have the new company (Renegade) come in a buy-out Full Throttle. Their manager, Rad, appears dedicated to excellence. If you did not have a great experience, I would try to talk to him. Will keep going back.
We have used these guys for rentals and a few other things. They have been excellent to work with, and well continue to use them
I have felt like family every time that I have been to renegade or called in. Money well spent for great products and genuine service. It’s nice to know that a handshake still means something to people. Radley, Kevin and the team are very talented. Great job Renegade. Myself, family and friends will be customers for years to come.
These guys are awesome! They stock a ton of current gear and have great prices on it! I even found some pants for 50% off! They had a ton of off-road helmets as well. If you need any gear or quick gifts Id highly recommended stopping in and seeing what you can find!
I took my motorcycle in 3 times to fix the carburetor. After $300, they still couldnt fix it (and it sat there for 7 weeks). They told me that the problem might just take care of itself and to keep the choke off. So I took it to South Valley Motor Sports, and they redid the carburetor, and it works perfectly. I had to pay another $250. The guys at Renegade are all very nice, but there are better shops to fix your bike.
These guys know what they are doing. A little pricy but worth the money. I tried to go somewhere else and they did not fix my motorcycle. I go to these guys they deliver when they say they will and do it correctly. No BS
Good customer service. Helpful at getting you what youre looking for.
These guys are always polite and very helpful in getting me the parts that I need to keep me and my crazy kids riding.
Took my Yamaha scooter there and they replaced the tire in under 30 minutes. The owner of the shop was very nice and pleasant to speak to while I waited. They do a great job at Renegade Sports. I dont understand peoples bad reviews. If you call ahead of time for what the price will be, then you wont be shocked when you get there. They were very fair with me and discounted the price even! Great place to shop!
I live in Salt Lake so renegade was a but of a drive for me. But it was worth it. They actually had the parts I needed in stock and the staff is super cool. Most dealers lack that qualityThanks Renegade!
Great service. Great prices.
I wish this was a rating of 6 stars! What great people to work with!!! Picked up a side by side and the family is loving it. Thank you guys for your great service! Will let everyone know where to go!
Great people to work with.
Rad and his staff has been great to deal with. I have purchased three motorcycles from them over the last two years. Ive also used service on a few occasions and have been pleased. I like that the staff are avid riders and know and stock the latest products. Matt has been my salesperson and he really knows KTMs and their setups.
Went in to see if I could get an extra key made for our Teryx 4 and I was met with how can we wreck your day? I informed the smart a** he couldnt wreck my day, but I asked if they could make an extra key. He did tell where to go in Bountiful to get one. Maybe it was an inside joke (ha ha) at this place, but I will not be back.
We live about 40 mins away, so I contacted ahead of time letting the staff know that my wife and I wanted to test drive one of their machines and made an appointment. We showed up and were told that we couldnt test drive because it was on the showroom floor. Total disregard for our time - would not recommend. We immediately went and purchased a machine from another dealer afterward.I dont know anyone who would buy a $20k machine without test driving it first.
Wow... Garrett in parts is a great guy! The level of customer service was above expected. Even took the extra effort to find the part that I needed in a different country considering the rare nature of the part. THANK YOU!!!
Great place! The employees go over and beyond to help answer questions. Great customer servic. Highly recommend stopping by and checking them out
First time dropping off for service, hopefully the entire experience goes well.
I bought a brand new KTM and they got me in quick for a service. They fixed my bike (cause I crashed it), changed the oil and even washed it. It wasnt cheap but neither was the bike and neither is this sport. These guys are running around constantly trying to keep everyone happy,i can understand why some reviewers felt ignored. Theres too I much demand and not enough staff. Not really their fault, if you just stand and watch a little bit they are obviously working like crazy to get everyone taken care of. I for one was impressed and felt taken care of
Fantastic service! Amazing and hugely helpful--at their cost. My bike had problems and I had given up and was going to take it in for service. Scott stopped me, asked me the make/model and then pulled up the manual. I walked him through the problem and he was able to identify the cause and sold me the $3 parts instead of a $120 service that wouldve ended up doing the same thing. They ROCK!!! Thanks, Scott & Crew!
Awesome service! Clean and friendly staff. Always helpful. Highly recommend buying from them. Honest and reliable
Renegade Sports is a LIFE SAVER. I had a part that was stuck, they lent me the tool to easily fix it!!THANK you all very MUCH.
They have dirt on their bikes and tell you not to be on the street
It was a great experience trading in my bike there. Super simple and no games! They even took my bike that wasnt a brand they have.
Renegade sports has been nothing but helpful when it comes to knowledge of parts. As a customer they have been honest since day one, the service portion of renegade sports has done nothing but quality work on my kx450F.The entire staff at renegade sports is like my family. When they find a problem with a bike. they explain the situation on how to fix it properly without cutting corners. I have nothing negative to say about this company.
Incredible team! I purchased a Kawasaki Teryx and have appreciated the sales and service experience that Rad and his team has offered. I would highly recommend Renegade Sports of Centerville.
This is a really friendly place I have bought all my toys and supplys hear and this is the only place I go rad and all the parts guys know there stuff and they treat you like family. Thank you renegade
The whole crew at Renegade is top notch! They have helped me out with all my machines from a basic service to helping customize my bike. I would recommend them to anyone!
Love this store, always has everything I need and is always willing to help me out with questions I have! Would recommend!
This was our first experience at purchasing a SxS or any type of 4-wheeling unit. Our Salesperson Fernando was EXCEPTIONAL. Very patient and taught us so much about these units. We shopped out 4 other places and brands, and came back to Renegade Sports and have been very happy with our purchase. Even the finance person was nice and wonderful! The service team had our machine together and ready when we asked for it. Thank you Renegad Sports!
Great place great pepole
No surprise this place rates at a 3 out of 5. Went in today looking to purchase A $300+ dollar jacket. One sales person was busy talking to what was obviously a friend about their plans for the weekend. After standing there for a few minutes I went to the counter to approach the guy there. I asked him three times what the price was for a specific Klim jacket that he said they could order for me. He refused to look it up and just kept saying, the same price as anywhere else because Klim is price controlled. Would not tell me the price. I try to support local business but this is why more and more people shop online. As for the same price everywhere cause its price controlled? Really? Ive found 4 different prices for the same jacket online from businesses that actually want to make a sale. Last time Ill set foot in this place. The seller responded to this review with complete nonsense. I walked into that store ready to buy. never said one word about wanting a deal or that someplace else had it cheaper. The obvious point would they never told me the price so how would I know if it was cheaper somewhere else.
Had a horrible front tire imbalance, I called in, Rad had me in the next day even though they were backed up 2 weeks. Problem was fixed? These guys are great!!
Guys are amazing here!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great customer service!!
Staff is awesome, very helpful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking them out and they will be happy to help.
Great bunch of guys here, very knowledgeable and friendly. I thought I had an issue with my new KTM 300 XC-W but it turned out to be a bonehead move on my part. Scott took the time to explain the issue to me and got my bike running while it was on the back of my truck, couldnt ask for better service.
I brought in my tire to get changed right before memorial weekend and these guys got me in and out in fifteen minutes. These guys are awesome, I would highly recommend them!
When I took my Yamaha motorcycle in because my forks were leaking, the service department gentlemen were very charismatic and pleasant to talk to. They explained what was happening so well I thought I could fix the problem. Long story short, they fixed it (not cheaply, which I dont mind if the work is done properly) and in about a week the forks were leaking again. Being a procrastinator I didnt call for another week or so (and because I rarely ride my motorcyle), and they told me that they dont warrant their work after a week! I said it was the exact same problem in the exact same spot I had just brought it in for, and they treated me like I was a nuisance and basically said GFY. Unreal how some companies can have the audacity to not take responsibility for their work. I took my bike elsewhere, and will never go here again or recommend them to anyone on the service side.
Easy to work with. Even brought paperwork to me at my workplace. Good people
Awesome is an understatement
Needed a new tire fast and they got me in and taken care of fast and easy!
Bought a KTM from them and rad and his crew were great to work with. I would definetly refer them these are some amazing people to work with they also checked the bike and made sure everything was good will come back.
Raddest buying experience. Highly recommend my dudes
Loved the service they were really helpful in buying my new bike! Wouldn’t go anywhere else
Guys were great. Had some loose bolts and service guys helped me out so I wasnt stranded.
Great little dealership. Ktm dealer and parts available
Went in to purchase a new side by side, cash in hand, I was the only one I could see on the lot or in the store. I then went inside and talked to a person for a minute but he walked away to talk to another sales person. I walked around the lot and looked at every unit they had. No one ever came out to assist me. I have a sales background and know how to earn someones business. Its too bad because they are close to where I live.
Good service takes good care of there customers
Great staff and prices.
Easy enough to work with sales, but 6 months later dealing with service was horrible. Machine was there for a month, didnt get fixed, couldnt get anyone on the phone. Finally told they never even worked on it because it has to go to another dealer. Service department one of the worst for ATVs, and thats saying a lot.
Staff was not very knowledgeable, if you dont know exactly what you need dont expect help. Salesmen under misaprehensions on sport atvs. If you are tryikmg to buy a motorcycle this place has inventory for that but not much else.
Sorry for not commenting back on this, trouble was the time of 6 pm was both the Logan store and Centerville store I checked 3 times before driving that far and after sitting at the door at 5:45. But the one star was due to the fact the trailer was sold between that time and the very next morning, I ended up having to buy a different brand from Idaho.
Great people
Just called and asked if I could bring my 1986 Yamaha street bike in for a tune up and the service department refused to even look at it. He said his boss has told him not to service anything that old. Looks like nothing has changed with the new name.
Recently Full Throttle was taken over by Renegade Sports. Lets hope theyve made some changes. As this review is for the old Full Throttle I will rate it accordingly. (hopefully Renegade is smart enough to change the name as I havent gone near the place to see if theyve put up a new sign).Sales: The sales staff at Full Throttle will ignore you, unless you look like you have money to spend and plan to spend it then and there.Service: The call things by the wrong name. I had a ATV that needed new carrier bearings... Well they had no Idea what a carrier is. Google search warrior 350 carrier bearings its a common item to be replaced on a sport quad. I took another four wheeler in to have the brakes worked on and the axle nuts tightened ( I didnt have a wrench big enough for the axle nuts and figured they could do it in no time) I dropped off my fourwheeler on a saturday and they said well take a look at it next week. 3 weeks later they hadnt touched it. I called them weekly for updates to which they kept responding they hadnt gotten to it. I told them Id just come pick it up the following saturday and not to touch it. When they finally told me it was done (meaning theyd removed the rear caliper and it needed to be replaced and wanted $350 for the part) I showed up to find them still working on it, I said I didnt want to pay their price for caliper as I could get a brand new OEM one for under $150 online. They said theyd been using a blow torch on the axle nuts and couldnt break them free to tighten them. I took it home then went and bought a torch and pipe wrench and had them tightened in 20 minutes. Service department talks down to you, and acts like you dont know anything.Parts: If you know exactly what youre looking for and a part number they might be able to get it for you. If you walk over to one of their fourwheelers point to the part and say I need this. theyll be lost.Hopefully the new management and ownership changed this. Otherwise. avoid the place.
Service is a joke. Parts dept may be ok. I wouldnt go here for any service ever they tell you one price and then its way more expensive and they dont let you know. You call and ask them about it and they basically tell you GFY. I will go anywhere else from now on.
Unbelievably horrible service! I called asking if they had a needle valve for my Yamaha, and the worker (Dont know who answered) yelled at me! Everything there is overpriced. Never going there again!
They gave me a battery with the positive and negative on the wrong side and and killed the electrical on my bike.
I called the for the service department and was told that I would have to leave my number and they might call back in 45 minutes. She said he was too busy to help me! Wow.
Great price and friendly staff.
Went into the store to look at a bike for myself as well as several helmets for the family. My family and I had never been and wanted to check things out since they are so close to our home. After spending 20 minutes in the store with no one even saying hello we left. Needless to say we will not be returning and will be making our purchases elsewhere.
