The young man (Rod) was very helpful and professional but beyond that he had a great feeling of concern for my issue at hand. Very energetic and I wish him well in life. I would only recommend this place if theres more people like this Young Man.

Called over the phone to see how much a seasonal tire change would be. We ended up getting charged double what they said it would be, and took about an hour to do it. Will not be returning.

I had ordered new tires through Walmart.com and had them installed here 2 1/2 years ago. I had gotten the road hazard replacement warranty with them. A couple of weeks ago, one of them went flat. I slimed it and filled it, and it was doing okay for short distances, but I knew it was going to need replacing because there was visible sidewall damage and I didnt want it to blow out. I brought it in and showed the technician (Kory) and tire shop manager. They were both extremely helpful in talking to me about my options as far as getting new tires went, and using my road hazard replacement warranty to pay for as much of my new tires as it could. It took a couple of trips in (one for initial diagnosis, once after my new tires arrived at my house and I brought them in and they told me they were booked out for the rest of the afternoon, and then the next morning when I came back and they got them mounted and things all squared away with the warranty), but both the guys who worked with me were extremely helpful, patient, and not pushy about buy these fancy expensive tires or anything like that. I really felt like they genuinely cared that I got the best value that I could and wanted to help me find the best solution that would work for me. Thank you. I hope Walmart gives you both a raise for your excellent customer service.

Bought two tires and had them mounted and balanced. The two employees who helped me (one at the front desk and the tech who did the work on the tires) were great. Friendly, quick, and I also saw the tech doing some of the work and could tell he was doing a thorough job. Thumbs up and thank you!

Excellent prices on tires. They are (sometimes much) slower than some of the other places, but I plan on giving them 2-3x as long as they say to do stuff and thats been enough. The employees here have been very curteous to me.

Brought car in for an oil change at 6:55 AM before they opened to be first in line. We wanted to make sure that we could get on the road in time for a trip. We were first, and asked how long it would take. Told 30 minutes and that there was no one ahead of us because it was first come, first served. Checked up after an hour and we were told that we were next. Two cars had gone ahead of us. Waited, then checked in again. Told that our car was up on the lift. We looked and it wasnt. Checked again, same exact thing (told its on the lift, despite being able to look at it in the lot). After two and a half hours, we asked for our keys back. They then quickly put it on the lift and started the work. Three hours for a 20 minute oil change when we were first in line at a first come, first served business. Even if youre shopping in the store, you cant possibly wait that long. I will pay double to go elsewhere - lazy, lying employees in the auto department will cost our business in the rest of the store. Go somewhere better.

This review is specifically for the TIRE CENTER. The store part gets 5 stars. I came in on a Monday to get new tires since mine were going bad. They told me they couldnt install due to covid19, which was fine. I just needed the tires and Id find somewhere else to install, This was on 6/8. The guy told me the tires would be in on Friday and that I had time to look around in case I found cheaper because they pricematch. I call back Wednesday to confirm and he states, Yes, they arrive within 24-48 hours and our next shipment in is on Friday before noon. I call to confirm on Friday 6/12 before 11am and some lady mentioned the shipment wasnt here yet but would be before noon. I go into the store they tell me, Oh we dont have those tires in, those tires were supposed to come in yesterday. I again ask, when will the tires be in, he takes my phone number down and said hed call me. I ended up finding my tires elsewhere, better quality and a lot less money then they were asking. Then on Monday 6/22 I get a text message from them stating my tires were ready for pick up. 🤦🏼‍♀️ 5 days worth of run arounds, wasted my time and gas coming into the store. Then 10 days of complete silence and all of a sudden my tires are there? NEVER have I ever gotten my tires there and never will I ever come there for tires again. Your customer service needs a bit more work as well as your orginization skills.

I went to get an oil change today, I waited at the lube bay for about 10 minutes. No one came out, no one even tried to let me know that they saw me waiting and they would be with me or tell me how long I’d be waiting. I went inside to the desk and asked where I should be for an oil change, they were goofing off and joking around and didn’t even notice me. The man turned and said, go back to the door where you were and wait. I said that I was and did not see anyone there to help me. He stated that there are only 2 techs and that if they are inside they cannot see you. I stated that I was looking and could not see anyone. I asked how long the wait was since there was one car in the bay. They told me an hour or more. I left to jiffy lube instead who had one car in front of me and I was in and out in 20 minutes and they were extremely nice. I don’t recommend Walmart. They don’t care if you go there or not, or even if your car gets done when you need it done. They will take their sweet time for no absolute reason. Never going back .

I bought the balance add-on. They didnt even balance the new tires they put on! Brought it to Points in Bountiful. Go there people. Cheers.

No more trucks (?)Oil Change; They did my truck(small 02 tundra) once and then when the next time came around, I was told they wont be able to do it ever again because of their new lifts arent long enough.So it WAS a nice cheap easy local service. However I am no longer able to receive service here.

We ran into a bad flat tire situation. We had a wonderful experience with Garth. I cannot say the same for the rest of the automotive crew. They seemed inattentive. At one point they were all standing around the register chatting while our car sat in the shop unattended. Once they finally realized we were waiting for it, they went in and finished it. Still, it was remarkably unprofessional.Garth, however, was wonderful. He was attentive and friendly. He took great care of us. I would recommend working with Garth! But, this review is really specific to Garth only.

Sat outside for 20 minutes after just walking in and talking to someone that assured me if Id drive up to the door they would come right out and help me.Never had issues with these guys till now. Seems the service is slipping. Time to find a new service center I guess. Costco service center at least answers the phone and gives reasonable and accurate wait times.

I love this place. Where else can you get a full synthetic (Mobile-1) oil change for $50? I typically buy my tires here as well so that when I get the aforementioned oil change I can also have my tires rotated and balanced. The other substantial benefit to having oil changes done here is that when you need wipers, oil and/or filters, they only charge you what the part costs IN THE STORE! No mark ups or fees. They dont charge you extra to install your wiper blades or filters. Try that at the other lube shops. Ive only had good experiences at this location. And it never hurts to be able to do a little shopping while your car is being worked on.

I just needed a new battery and it was more work than it should have been. But they did their best. Just be prepared for delayed customer service and a wait.

I bought tires from here which have been good tires so far, they come with lifetime balance and rotation. I have come back to this specific store 4 times in the last 2 weeks to get my tires rotated, each time I am told it is going to be hours before they can get to my car. This morning I came again and there was 1 car in the garage, and the tech told me that again that it would be HOURS before my car would get serviced.... How??? It does not take hours to do 1 other vehicle.Plus they never have the correct parts when they change my oil, a few months ago I came in for an oil change and waited in the waiting room for 2 hours and then was told that they didn’t have the correct parts to change my oil. It took them 2 hours to figure that out and then tell me? I had to then go and purchase the correct part from O’Reily’s so they could change my oil.I suggest finding somewhere else to get any services done... Most unprofessional and slowest, laziest workers I have ever experienced.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! Absolutely horrifying. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before wasting my time. Took them 20+ minutes to find my tires that had been ordered in which were 10 feet from the register. Then it took 2 hours to get them installed. I have never had to wait so long for a tire mounting with no cars in the bay. These guys are a joke!

I needed a new battery that Walmart happened to not carry. John suggested I buy it at OReily and to come back to Walmart and John would install it.So that is what I did and John was wonderful. He is a great asset to Walmart.

They are up front about pricing, finish on time, and do great work. It can take some time, but thats what first come first serve looks like. Thanks for your hard work!

This would be zero stars if possible but then again maybe it is worth one star.....I special ordered tires because this was the only local place that had the brand I wanted I paid over 1000.00 for the tires and then another 30.00 each for a warranty. I was able to make an appointment to get them installed but then every time I have done back in for rotation they tell me there is no appointments and its first come first serve. So the first rotation was a 3 hour wait. The second time I came in they tell me about the wait but they say if I come in early in the morning Ill be first, so I come in the next morning just after 7 and drop it off. I am told 1.5 hours tops. I finally get a call 5 hours later telling me it is done. So today I go in and again I am told an hour and a half to do a tire rotation well thats the wait then who knows how long after that to actually get the repair done. I talked to the manager there and then to the assistant store manager and explained all this and they do not see it as a problem. Well based on the low rating here and others comments obviously it is a problem. By the way I showed Alan the assistant manager the online reviews and his opinion was well thats not many reviews compared to how much service we do if I would have seen the other issues here before I bought them I never would have gotten tires here.You can get 1 star service, drop your car off on the way to work and then get a ride because then there is a good chance they will have it done before 7 in the evening and you can pick it up after work. If you value your time remember they dont, so if you are going to wait for service you are going to be hanging out at Walmart for a loooooong time.

Went to get 2 new tires and when we took it to the tech, he didn’t even look like he was listening. They said it would take 4 hours so we went home in another car, the ticket said it took them 3 hours but they didn’t call us, we ended up waiting 6.5 hours until we went to go check on it, when we got there no one was around because it’s 6:00PM and we could open the car right up. ITS NIGHT TIME AND THEY DIDNT EVEN LOCK THE CAR I COULD HAVE HAD THINGS STOLEN. Over all, not going there ever again for my car

Always decent price, but pretty hit and miss on the service. Even the department manager is often moody and not that willing to help. Theyre lucky theyre close and relatively inexpensive...

My wife drove to Walmart to get a few things for her job. Somewhere on the way there she ran over a few staples that ended up puncturing and flattening her tire. She found this on her way out of the store and thought “oh good I’ll go to Walmart’s tire center. “ after arriving there they informed her that the tire was unsalvagable do to the fact that the side wall affected. Fair enough. I don’t want her running around on a bad tire. I told her to just buy a new tire and have them install it. She then called me back and told me that they could not sell her a tire, that they could only sell her a set of four. I told her no that’s not right. We can buy a single tire. They proceeded to tell her it was a policy that they could only sell her a set of four.. (Even though the other tires were basically brand new). So they were not helping her. They took over 45 minutes to tell her it wasn’t salvageable. She was late to work and could get no help from these employees. I told her we’d take of it later. A couple of hours later I ended up taking it to Big O (a real tire store with decent employees). They said the same thing that the tire couldn’t be replaced, but they would sell me a new one and gave me 25% off the new tire because in their words it was basically brand new with how much tread life it had left. I would not recommend anyone to go to the Walmart tire store with hopes of receiving helping. I’m just glad my wife was smart enough to call me before she bought anything so that she didn’t get ripped off.

Efficiency is not the name of the game @ the Centerville Wal-Mart Auto Center. The prices on tires are good, but theyre in no hurry to install them on the vehicle. After beginning the day there before 8:00 am and returning once more at 10:00 am - because there werent enough technicians to do the work already lined up - I was given an appt for 1:00 pm and told it would take one hour. Over two hours later, the car was finally ready to go. Have you ever waited aground in a Wal-Mart for over two hours!? Aaaah! Torture!

I have been working at Walmart auto care center for 8 years I work on cars trucks all kinds of vehicles who do oil changes review tires and we do batteries headlight restoration fuel injections and as the middle of September we will being the opening tree oil base thats going to be a new lifts we are doing a remodel on oil-based side and as of September 10th we should be having me 3 oil bays opening up.

Yesterday (4th of July) we got a nail in our tire and the man working told us that he couldn’t repair it since it was “at an angle” & we had to purchase a new tire. We didn’t feel right about the way he sped through with us (like he wanted to be off enjoying his holiday) so we went else where today and they told us that guy was lying and repaired our tire in 45 minutes. When telling my dad this morning our experience, he told me the same thing happened to him a couple of weeks ago. He took his Camaro in and the man told him because he had had too many flats on that tire he would not repair it & he needed to make a special order and buy a new tire from him. He took it elsewhere and it was repaired just fine. I’m not sure if employees get commission at Walmart from selling tires or not, but clearly this employee at the centerville Walmart is lazy and is looking for an extra buck.

My boyfriend and I had our girls and were unloading some stuff at our storage unit right across the bridge from this Walmart. When we left our tire light came on, he got out to check the tire and you could hear the air coming out and quickly. We hurried over to this tire center it had closed 20 minutes before we got there. The employees were still sitting around conversing. We pleaded to have our tire fixed due to needing to drive back to SLC and wanted to make sure it was a safe drive, especially with our kids. The guy didnt want to help as they were closed even though he wasnt in any hurry to get out of there. Thanks bro! Nothing like being a good person eh? 🙄 Id give 0 stars if possible.

Stopped here to get a tire rotation. 4:00 pm on a weekday. There were no cars in the bay. They quoted me it would take an hour. How is that even possible? An hour for a tire rotation. SMH.

This place is actually amazing. A different Walmart was giving me issues, and wasnt pleasant to deal with, but these guys are fantastic. Couldnt recommend them enough.

Would not go to again. Told me to go home and to come back the next day because they didnt have the time to put a tire on a rim when I had both with me, and when I went back they had terrible customer service. They opened the door saw me and went back into the other room and I was waiting for 10 minutes before they came back out to see what I needed. They had me standing around. I thought I was going to pay before so I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before I asked if I was going to pay. And they said i would have to pay after the job was done. I strongly recomend les Schwab tire or centerville tire factory. You will have better customer service and they will the job right and wont add any charges on. They treat you like people and not just another annoying customer that they have to help.

They were the only place open on Sunday (besides Costco, who also was terrible service), so we had no choice but to come here. Our trailer tire blew on the freeway and they had the tires we needed. It took 2 hours for them to get one tire halfway on the rim. We were here FOREVER. My husband had to walk over and watch them in order to speed the process up. I got 2 tires from Good Year last year and they had it done within minutes. I do not recommend Walmart tire center, unless you want to hang out for a few hours. Again, this was even on a Sunday with us being the only customers, I can’t imagine what it’s like any other day.

Bought an auto battery that went bad in less 45 days. Took it back and they gave me the biggest headache telling me itll take them 90 minutes to run a test on the battery before they can replace it after which itll take them 30 minutes to replace the battery. They could already tell the battery was bad by the quick test that takes 30 seconds. Horrible customer service!!! Do not take your car to Wal-Mart go to an actual parts store where they know a little about cars and will trade a part out for you under warranty when they know its bad. So much for Customer Service.

I arrived 2 hours before close to have a leaky tire looked at and was told they werent accepting new cars. This was after I hear the employee talking to another customer about not wanting to stay overtime. Typical Wal-Mart customer service. I would expect nothing better. I only chose this place because they were open on Sunday. Wont be going back.

I was given a quote over the phone for a tire change a out the door price supposedly with all fees and taxes. Surprise! About $20 more than expected with no explanation other than the guy on the phone must have made a mistake...Typical Wal-Mart.

I bought tires here because its close to home and I got them on sale; however, getting service for a rotation and balance is ridiculous. I finally dropped off early on a Saturday and there was only one guy working so I dropped off and came back at noon. I honestly dont believe the tires were balanced or he did a crappy job.I just now called to see if I could bring my vehicle back over - it will be at least a three hour wait.Bite the bullet and go to another nearby tire shop.

I went for an oil change and they told me in an hour it was ready, but for my surprise they did not change the oil, they just said that the oil screw was worn and the filter could not be removed, I took it to the house and I change it without any problem.

No cars in line and it took over 2 hours to get an oil change. One of the technicians stopped working about an hour and a half in and got McDonalds... at 10 am... was that an early lunch? They didnt seem to care to get things done.

Had to show one of the techs how to install my headlight after waiting an hour and being told it was done.When i got to my truck, the headlight was hanging by the wires.I figured it would be worth paying 6$ to have it done while i shopped, but it cost me an hour of my life, and i should have charged them for training.The manager offered a refund, but by that point it wasnt worth waiting longer for 6$.

Poor communication and was told it was ready when it really wasnt. Had to babysit them to get things fixed correctly. Go somewhere else that listens to you and does it right the first time.

They declined the vacuum and battery test when we did the oil change. We moved everything from the car to the trunk so there was no reason not to vacuum. Asked why and they didn’t give a reason for the vacuum but the battery they said unsafe environment because they were under the car. Denied it out of laziness. Car is 2015 Subaru crosstrek

Terrible service, I went to get a oil change dropped my car off at 10 am they set the expectations with me that my car would be done in 2-3 hours i went to go pick my car up at 2:30 pm and they said I still had 2 hours left till it’ll be done. it’s so frustrating because they shouldn’t give you a expected time they know they can’t meet.

Horrible service and a 3 hour wait. Its worth the extra $5 to go somewhere else.

Got new tires put on. The same tire went flat twice in one day. The second time I brought it back they said they didnt have the proper valve sensor in stock and I would need to go to an auto parts store to buy one to fix it. I suggest you go to a real tire store that actually keeps the parts in stock.
