WARNING!!!! DO NOT try to buy a truck from Vilas Truck & Trailer sale, specially from Tyler, unprofessional and disrespect full. I tried to buy Peterbilt 2018 which has a transmission red light ON on it, he promised me to take it to the dealer shop to find out about the red light. He never did it I took it to diagnose and I paid for it, and I put a deposit of $1030,00 he put my money in his pocket and sold the truck. That is totally unacceptable, I would not recommend any one doing a business with this truck sales no matter what.

Vilas Truck and Trailer reached out to me after the negative reviews were left on my behalf. I read the reply left by Cody, the manager, to each fake review. His retelling of the situation is accurate.I very much enjoyed my experience working with Vilas. Cody helped me with accessing and handling the financing documents and went out of his way to make sure I had everything ready to go. Randy did not misrepresent the condition of the truck and Jim Oldland was overly understanding and accommodating.I dont know who left the negative reviews but I have a feeling it was my ex-girlfriend in retaliation for uncovering her attempt to defraud everyone. I have done business with Vilas since then and even recommended Vilas to my employer who purchased equipment from them. When Im ready to trade-in and upgrade my truck or trailer, they will be my first stop.

I just bought a 2017 KW T680 that was very much miss represented to me aa a lease back return to Kenworth and this company picked up the truck for resale. As soon as I bought the truck I had $3375 worth of invoices at four different Kenworth dealers to remedy a transmission and engine light issue. Transmission kept slipping out of gear. All I asked for from Vilas was some help but they refused knowing that the truck had a long list of issues ever since it drove off lot new. I would not recommend doing any business with this truck sales what so ever.

Randy sold both my tractor and trailer. He came highly recommended and I concur. Good guy.

The guys a Vilas Truck and trailer are top notch, especially Randy. They are always straight shooters, keep me informed, and go out of their way to help in any way. They are a consignment lot, so are often at the mercy of the pubic for inventory, but usually have great trucks and trailer. AND, if they don’t have it, they can probably find it. Randy’s been doing this stuff nearly his whole life, and it shows!

RANDY RUPERT! A man of his word, this gentleman has helped me on numerous occasions and will give the shirt off his back for your happiness. Vilas Truck & Trailer Sales is such an upstanding business, very open book about all equipment they sell. I will continue to depend on their help in my businesses future endeavors. Not to sure about the negative post about randy or jim oldland selling anything junk. I have bought and sold trucks from both if them. Stand behind what they say. Just bc u dont do your diligence is your own fault. I owned #28 I bought from oldland direct from jim. Randy sold the truck. Probably one of the cleanest 359exh I have ever seen. Good people, solid business, end of story

BUYER BEWARE!! Randy and Vilas Truck and Trailer and Oldland Distributing Inc. sold me a faulty Peterbilt! They blatantly lied a number of times, saying the engine was under warranty, it isn’t. Randy and Vilas Truck and Trailer also lied about the number of miles on this engine. Then after only days of this purchase, the indicator light came on and a third-party inspection shows the turbo and activator are BOTH out and need to be replaced and that Randy and Vilas Truck and Trailer knew - they deceptively cleared the light just to sell it!
