I have to say this place is great. They have everything you could possibly need for leather projects. Customer service is outstanding. The owner will come up and not only help you but give you great leather working advice. Their prices are competitive with Amazon prices and the tools are better quality so it’s definitely worth a visit here!

LOVE Ravenswood leather items! When I opened the box the first thing I was most impressed with was the quality of leather! WOW! You can tell that came from a real cow! Ravenswood is a magical little leather shop (behind the military surplus store) where you will find a variety of amazing quality leather outfits, coats, kilts, hats and all kinds of beautiful leather pieces, along with a small variety of other interesting items. They have scrap leather for sale, and repair leather as well.They also have lay away and an online store. Gorgeous and unique items for festival wear, SCA events, comic con, cosplay, elaborate Halloween costume, or just looking cool!

I went to ECCC about two years ago and fell in love with the products that they had in their booth. I chatted with their representatives extensively online they were the most friendly and helpful people I have ever talked to. When I finally decided on what I want they helped me choose the colors and style I wanted. It took a little long to get my item but when it came I was surprised at the quality, the only one draw back was it was much too large, I contacted them and they said return it. I checked my mail yesterday and there was the fixed bracer I needed altered and another brand new bracer.If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I cannot express how happy I am to have what I ordered and will have to order more from them in the future.Thank you Ravenswood Leather for everything.

I have had several great experiences here. But today they went above and beyond. I had a dog eat a chunk of rabbit hair off some very unique slippers, and not only did they have a replacement peice of rabbit fur but they fixed it for me right then and there!I love this place!

We came into Ravenswoods storefront at the Texas Renaissance Festival this past weekend, and had a great experience. Several staff members stopped by to make sure we were being taken care of, and to show off the features of the beautiful leather garments they had for sale.While we didnt purchase anything that day, Reginald in particular was extremely helpful, and took time out of his day to try to set us up with the wedding coordinator.The service & unmatched quality puts Ravenswood at the top of my mind for high quality costuming & events. This shop is almost unbelievable. Ive never seen such an assortment of top quality leather costumes and accessories. Really has to be experienced to understand the depth of their selection and the incredible quality of the pieces they produce. I buy raw leather from them regularly for my own craft projects and always spend an extra hour at the store drooling over their stunning creations. Really great knowledgeable and helpful staff.If there is a better leather artisan shop in this entire country, I have yet to hear about it. This store is just amazing.

Great quality and affordable pricing on most of the items I purchase (belt hangers, pouches, bracers, etc.) My orders get processed, made, and shipped pretty quickly. If theres a question about the order he will give ya a call to make sure its made how youd like. He also threw in an extra small coin purse as a thank you. Ive been thoroughly impressed and satisfied!

GREAT shop. Just an amazing place to peruse so many wonderful toys and costumes Ill never be able to afford.Not to say the prices arent fair. When a 30-lb leather jacket is upwards of $3200 youre not actually overpaying. Its handmade by amazing artisans right here in Medford. Dont be scared by that example either, I bought a pair of awesome leather bracers for like $45.

Ravenswood is the best!! The most amazing selection of leather products you have ever seen, crafted with such fine care and attention to detail. This is not an outlet, you pay for the quality you get but its worth the money you spend.

Very cool -- fantastic staff, fantastical merchandise. Be prepared to mostly browse unless you are really ready to spend for custom, over-the-top leather clothing. However, if you really like this type of thing, I doubt there are many alternatives that are Ravenwoods equal.

Excellent selection of hides, and great customer service. Peter was very patient with us as we made our choice of leather for a client, and explained the measuring and pricing structure very well. Definitely a happy customer!

As a fellow leather worker, I really appreciate the staff. They are always willing to answer my questions and make suggestions on project improvements. They have on several occasions brought in items if they didnt have them at the time. I always look forward to visiting Ravenswood!

See these guys every year at our Texas RenFest, but contacted them about a custom order, a bow glove, for my daughter. I couldnt find anything in her size locally. I sent them an email and received a very prompt response. I was added into the queue, which, understandably, was a little bit of a wait. It was well worth it. Fantastic quality, fit my daughter like... [yeah, Im gonna say it], a glove and even came with its own custom bag. Ill be ordering from them in the future for sure.

UPDATE: Adding 2 stars for the follow-up phone call. The owner Reginald called me today. The woman who took my order at ECCC and then didnt respond to me until 4/9 and was the one responding to me until mid May apparently didnt communicate with the other staff on my order (and is no longer employed there), so it got lost, in addition to shipping being double charged and it taking way too long and it being toothless. The owner said he will refund my duplicate shipping cost and send a new pouch WITH TEETH and check it personally. So I applaud them for their willingness to get things righted. As I said, their work is still beautiful, but they are learning that there needs to be checks and balances.Im not just an irate customer, but Im someone who has been in retail customer service some 19 years and frankly the customer service at @ravenswoodleather is atrocious. On the left is version of the Jurassic Park logo I submitted. On the right is the leather pouch I just received having ordered it at eccc back in March 2019. Long story short at Cons and the Bonney Lake Ren Faire and Ravenswood has been there with fantastic leather picked work fandom logos on them and each time I ask if they have a jp one. Sometimes they try to sell me one with the Red Power Ranger T-Rex on it. This year a brunette woman who said she was the embroiderer actually offered to take my custom order and said she was surprised they didnt have one for that particular license. I prepaid and some then have been playing email yeah with them. Someone finally responded in early April when I emailed them via Square and offered to pick it up from their shop in Medford, but it wasnt done because it takes 4-6 weeks. No one told me. It also wasnt fully paid for and they had lost the order. Finally mid May Im sent an invoice and told that no one will ever want a JP logo pick so I have to pay a custom logo digitization fee. I send them the version of the logo I want and no one tells me its too small or too detailed or not a high enough resolution. May 29th Im told the embroidery will take a day or 2 and then it will be sent. I emailed them last night and received the tracking number today. After nearly 3 months, it finally arrives... And the T-rex has no teeth. Im heartbroken.

I just received my men’s archer bracer for my Martin Diablo Recurve. They made it fit to my requested dimensions and it works great! It offers solid grip protection for the edges on the bow handle (main reason I got it), supports my bow wrist at #55 draw on the recurve, and protects the forearm. Love the gear! The style is top quality and functionality is solid. Thanks Ravenswood Leathers! Way to stay on time and professional. I’ll be ordering from you again.

Very cool friendly staff and comprehensive stock

Decent products but pricing is high and bad customer service at events. Was at Texas Renn Faire last year and was interested in a few items and was ignored by staff even though I was one of 2 customers in shop. Then when I tried to ask about said items was told they didnt know and walked away. Then at Gencon this year overheard employee complaining about people asking questions about product. Not the best thing to overhear.

Ive ordered at least a dozen items from them. All are of the highest quality. I wish I knew where they got their leather
