I bought a 2019 Charger, a year later upgraded to a 2021 ScatPack that I TRIED to get from them, but the sales staff is horrible. So basically the dealer I got the new car from had to mail me the second key, mind you I’ve gotten ALL my service done HERE bought my previous charger from HERE and now they’re trying to charge me $75 to program the new key. Unbelievable, will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Great way to lose a loyal customer!

This by far was the easiest, most stress free, and pleasant experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Devin T was our salesperson and he was amazing. He listened to what we needed and made it happen. The finance manager was a blessing as well. There was absolutely no beating around the bush nor trying to put us in a vehicle we did not want. Bought a charger from here a few months ago . My step daughter decided she rather have a truck. Took the Charger to another dealer to trade it in and they informed us the charger had 2 accidents on it prior to our purchase. Champaign Chrysler never disclosed this, had we known it had accidents on it, we would never have bought it. Not acceptable to not fully disclose.

Hendershot was my 5th car dealership that I had dealt with in the past week. Car shopping is time consuming and not fun. After dealing with pushy and rude car salesman from the Danville/Tilton area, it was like heaven when I entered Hendershot! Attention customers!!! Beware of these hoax dealership, few weeks back my Chrysler Sebring convertible (75k driven) stopped working. Overall condition of my car was excellent, with the ray of hope I towed it to these very well-known car dealership in town, they checked my car and charged me 130 dollars / hour, but couldn’t reached to any conclusion and told that my car engine timing belt has been broken, and probably because of zero tolerance engine, it might have affected the car engine badly, and suggested to replace the engine which would costed more than 9000 dollars. After spending 700 dollars just on diagnostics, these people could only reach to one conclusion “replace engine”.Devastated by this, I had to sell my call at junkyard price and was purchased by a mechanic, after few hours I got a call from that mechanic, that he drove 60 miles with my Chrysler Sebring, and he told me that he just replaced front exhaust can which cost him 22 dollars in parts and one hour of labor.I lost my car as I relied on these car mechanics hoaxes, who claim to be the best dealers in the city, but seriously doesn’t know anything about car fixing OR did they do this intentionally?Moral of the story: Never rely on such big car mechanics/dealers, who are in this business just to loot you !!!I did not just lost my car, but lost my trust on these people!!!

I had purchased two trucks from this dealership since 2014 with a great experience both times so when searching for another new truck there was no question where I would turn to. I did scour the web for something that may be a better deal but all roads pointed back to the good folks at Champaign Chrysler Dodge Jeep! Though the salesman I had dealt with the last two purchases had since moved on I was contacted by Devin and my experience this time around was just the same as any before. Devin and the sales team were awesome to work with! Devin was very patient through the whole process and had many options tailored to what I was looking for and was able to give me by far the best deal around! To begin with I found that their prices were by far better than any other Ram pickup trucks I could find and Devin made the entire experience working with him awesome, he even came in on his day off to make sure I was taken care of while closing the deal and making sure the vehicle I had picked was throughly cleaned and ready to go by the time the papers were finished being signed. I would strongly recommend if you are in the market for a new Chrysler product, look up Champaign Dodge before you make any decisions anywhere else and if hes available ask for Devin and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!

My son goes to u of I and was using my Jeep and it needed a oil change so I told him to go to the Chrysler dealer in Champaign because we don’t know about the mechanic shops there. So hoping I could trust this dealership and it went opposite! I’m not even sure they changed the oil! They couldn’t even fill the windshield washer fluid. They also said the brakes were green on the receipt and they definitely were not my son took pictures of the wheel and you could clearly see they were pretty bad and I’m not a mechanic! I called the dealership to complain and they said we don’t take off the tires to check but you didn’t have to just looking and you could see they were bad! This is ridiculous I will never go back I would rather drive all the way home to get a oil change! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Please dont go here for maintenance! My boyfriend and I were traveling last summer from Charleston to my hometown 3.5 hours away. After an hour going 70-75 mph on the interstate, his cars engine overheat light came on. We took the car to Hendershot Chrysler to get it checked. We were charged $125 just to see what was wrong, which was fine; we had no choice. After two hours, the mechanic takes my boyfriend into the hallway to break the news that his transmission is done for, and it would cost $7,000, which was more than the car was worth, to replace the entire thing (it seems like a lot of people complain about the place suggesting the most expensive solution to car problems without providing any alternatives). They tried to pressure us to spend the money right on the spot, like we had $7,000 just lying around. They heavily advised us not to go on the road. We drove back to my place with no issues whatsoever. A week later, we took it into a mechanic my boyfriend has gone to for years, and there was literally nothing wrong with the transmission. The type of car he has just has a weaker transmission than most cars, so its important to drive a little slower on the interstate. The car works fine to this day. These people knew my boyfriend and I were scared and stressed and inexperienced, and they took advantage of that situation to get $7,000 out of us. Please, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.

I bought a 2010 Chevy Impala on 10/29. Ryan, my sales guy, was very nice. I bought the Silver Warranty. Within a few days of purchasing the vehicle, the check engine light came on. I took it to AutoZone and the diagnostic tool said it had something to do with the fuel injection. I called Ryan at the dealership and he informed me that the warranty didn’t go into effect for 30 days after the purchase date. He had me bring my vehicle back to the dealership and their mechanics took a look at it. They thought it was a gasket which was covered by the warranty, but they didn’t have the equipment to fix it. They told me to go to Sullivan-Parkhill to get it fixed and they would pay the $100 deductible. I had to wait until 11/30 to take it to Sullivan-Parkhill because the warranty took 30 days to go into effect. When I took it to Sullivan-Parkhill, they said it wasnt a Gasket, it was actually a sensor which wasn’t covered by the warranty and was going to cost me $400 for parts and labor to fix. They also informed me that the front and rear brakes were down to metal on metal and we are not safe to continue to drive. The total to fix the sensor and the brakes with labor was over $1000. I called Ryan at Hendershot and he had me bring my vehicle back over there. When I did, they gave me a loaner vehicle to use while they fixed the brakes and the sensor on my vehicle FREE OF CHARGE!!! Amazing customer service!!! Thank you Ryan and company. I really appreciate you guys fixing those issues for me free of charge. The only money I had to pay was the $129 to Parkhill Sullivan for the inspection. Considering I was looking at over $1000, I was happy to pay the $129. I would highly, highly, highly recommend Hendershot for all of your new and used car needs.

We shopped the entire Chambana area to find our perfect family car. Low miles, good gas mileage, and 3rd row fold flat seating at an affordable price was seeming to be too much to ask for in a car until Devin showed us a gorgeous gently used Dodge Journey. Here we are months later and I love my new car as much now as the day we bought it! It made all the difference that Devin went above and beyond to give us a deal everyone could be happy about. After dealing with so many pushy salespeople during our search for the perfect new vehicle, we were relieved to find ourselves in the comfort and professionalism of this dealership and it’s wonderful staff. 10/10 will buy again.

I didnt shop around much this time while looking for a vehicle. I went to Champaign Chrysler to look at the size of the Dodge Darts and see if it would be a vehicle that would fit me. These cars have A LOT more room than I would have thought. I was looking for a 6-speed Manual transmission and they are difficult to find. Many of the newer vehicles have the auto-stick and I was wanting a regular, manual transmission. Jake put me into a Dart to see the size and asked what I was looking for. I told him what I was wanting and he said that he could check their sister dealership, and that he would get back with me. He went and found out that their sister dealership did indeed have a 6-speed manual transmission Dart and further informed me that he could get it down to me by that evening. I was excited as it was the vehicle that I wanted, but once I saw it the next morning, I knew it was more car than I could probably afford. Not only did I deal with Jake, but also Dave and they did what they could to put me in the driver seat of the car for good. I never felt pressured as what sometimes happens at dealerships to buy the vehicle and I would go back to Champaign Chrysler again for my next vehicle, especially if I am able to work with these 2 guys again. Also, the Finance guy that I dealt with (Brandon Ball) was excellent and helped me get the best bang for my buck regarding the extended warranty and extras.

Greg Frey is fantastic! I am very selective about my vehicles and have always bought from individuals instead of from companies. I originally went in just looking to test drive a Jeep, and Greg was very friendly, honest, direct, and accommodating. It was the first dealership where the salesman actually talked with me and didnt immediately ask for all of my contact info and such before even looking at cars, which I really appreciated.He spent time answering all of my questions and actually seemed happy to be there working with me. We spent two hours test driving different Jeeps, and he arranged for me to take a Latitude home for two days (I visited on a Saturday, so I returned it on Monday).In the meantime, Greg found me the exact Latitude to fit my wish list, which was extensive: Preferred Safety package, Cold Weather package, Comfort/convenience package, V6 engine, Panoramic Sunroof, Uconnect with navigation, dark cloth interior, etc! He explained the cost structure and financing packages in a way that was very easy to understand and feel comfortable about.The Latitude was located and brought to Champaign within 24 hours, and after a short test drive, I left the dealership with my new Jeep and I couldnt be happier!The man who did the financing, Jim, was also great at explaining all the paperwork and details, and he helped arrange for a lower finance rate than previously discussed and an extended warranty. I also had two vehicles to trade in and received an excellent offer for both. Initially I felt really positive about my interaction with the sales team at Champaign Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. My salesman was fantastic, so I couldnt believe it was his first day on the job. He was honest, personable, and answered all my questions willingly. While financing my vehicle, I opted for a rust-proofer to be applied at an additional cost (but to be applied at a later date). There were technical difficulties, and being that it was close to the closing time, we made alternate arrangements. My sales associate agreed to meet me at my place of employment, the following day, to sign papers. Everything went as planned until I brought the truck in to be serviced. My schedule appointment was suppose to be 4 hours (which ended up taking close to 6.5 hours). Albeit my fault for not getting paperwork that day, I have since tried multiple times to get copies from the finance department. It took a 50 mile-trip to the dealership to get them. Even then, the finance manager was extremely unprofessional. He took almost no time to answer my questions about missing paperwork, and tried to dismiss me. When I tried to ask what we could do about the buffing compound that still speckled my truck, he suggested that I just try to wipe it off as best I could (keeping in mind that I paid for/ and had been told I would receive quality service). He then proceeded to tell me that I could wait an additional two hours for the detailing department to try to help, but being that I had kids in my truck that probably wouldnt be a good idea. Im extremely disappointed in the service I received. Customers could just avoid the headache and purchase elsewhere.

In the 3 times I have brought my Jeep here for the “Jeep wave” oil change, I have not had an oil change take UNDER 1.5 hours. This is even after calling ahead to see how busy they were. The final time they verified there was one person ahead of me and that instance still took 2 hours. Don’t plan anything for a few hours if you want an oil change here or drop your car off for an entire afternoon. OR go to speed lube for 15 minutes.I will not be back. Ever. If I could give zero stars I would. I would not be posting this if it was just a busy day or one time out of 3. This is how they do business.

A Jeep I had been watching for a few months was finally marked down. I sent an email and Grant promptly replied and had a sales person contact me. He has even emailed me a few times throughout the process and I thought that was nice. I test drove the Jeep and the salesperson invited himself, wouldve been nice to just talk with my husband about the car during this time. Anywho we agreed on a price for my car and we decided to see what we could work out. They brought numbers to the table and they refused to budge in the slightest from these and this was unusual for a dealership, so we agreed they would fill the tank and fix an issue I had with the door handle. I waited a few days and on Friday night let them know I wanted the car but didnt want to have to drive back for anything. They said it wouldnt be a problem and agreed to have the car ready at 10am. We arrive at the dealership and Ryan takes my insurance, registration and license. We then sign a few papers where on says they submitted a warranty claim for my handle. I feel like when I said I wanted the car ready I was clear and not that I wouldnt of taken the car that day but a heads up phone call wouldve been appreciated. He then gets up and leaves (no Ill be right back or someone will be right with you). I believe this was extremely rude! We sat there, toddler too mind you and had no idea what was happening. Issac came to get us and he was great! Explained everything, got us in and out so I could get into my new car. Overall my situation was okay but if you enjoy any negotiation, personable interactions or appreciation for your money (20k in my case) go elsewhere.

I wanted to buy a wrangler and the dealer Ryan showed me one satisfied my request which is around 33000, I paid $500 for deposit and a week later they called me and told me I have to pay $1000 more to get the car satisfied my requests because when they made a mistake! Then I told them I dont want the car anymore and ask for my money back, and it is been almost 3 month and I called and called to ask my money back and the dealer never pick up his phone and when I called the store they just told me to wait! It is the worst car dealer I ever seen!! Now Im thinking about solving this problem by a lawyer. WORST EVER!

My husband and I just purchased a new Jeep Wrangler and the experience was great from start to finish! When we started the process we had only a vague notion of what we wanted in a Jeep and werent even familiar with the differences between a Wrangler, Sport, or Rubicon. Scott helped us figure out the vehicle that we wanted based on our vague notions. =) Scott was great throughout the process, was really pleasant to work with, and always responded promptly when we had questions. We always felt like he had our best interest in mind and would share with us honestly which specifications we should choose while ordering our Jeep.Then Isaac in finance was lovely to work with as well! He streamlined the process and was just really pleasant to work with. He told us about the optional warranties, but we never felt pressure to choose one. Again, just honesty about what would work best for us based on what we want.So A+++ for the entire team who treated us professionally during the process, but somehow felt like friends at the end! Terrible customer service in the service department. Took 5 hours to diagnose my front end and tire pressure sensor. They charge you 128 bucks to just diagnose your car and don’t tell you at first. Called me when it was diagnosed and quoted me 1600 bucks to replace my struts, sway bar links, and bushing. Told me my struts were both blown and the clunk noise I heard would require all that to be replaced. I left after paying 300 bucks for them to just diagnose and replace my tire sensor in ONE tire! I went to Rantoul tire x press on 136 and got it checked out for free and the only part on my whole front in that had an issue was one sway bar link which they replaced for a total of 68 bucks! Took 30 minutes total and informed me not one drip of oil from my struts nor any of my struts or bushings needed replaced. Dodge told me they were both blown “covered in oil”. Dodge in Champaign is a joke. Don’t go!! They will try to have you repair everything that doesn’t even need repaired. They are more dishonest then a used car sales man or politician.

Had service provided on my husbands truck and the communication regarding part availability and when the truck would be ready left a lot to be desired. They had the truck for 11 business days and didnt provide a rental car or anything even though the repair was covered under the warranty. 😐
