I was somewhat of a skeptic when i saw best sandwich in town on the sign - until i tried one. I want to seriously make a plan to try every sandwich they have but I got a mindys italian and i got stuck - every single chance i get to stop in there i just keep ordering the same thing. The only problem with cheese and crackers is too many sandwiches not enough time.Ryan behind the counter is the absolute man, he makes the best food, and knows everything there is to know.Do yourself a favor and head over there ASAP.

Im from Minneapolis and Im always looking for a new food experience. This place is small & amazing. The guys that work there are full of awesome sauce. Very patient and helpful. The meat....the cheese was amazingly fresh & simply delicious. I had the Thanksgiving sandwich it was everything! If you want some different and fresh this is it! They also have specialty chocolate! Check out the sweet potato and/or bacon cheddar chips. Dont forget one of their many old fashioned bottle sodas. The ginger beer and champagne cream soda are 🔥🔥

Seafood in Champaign are expensive. That’s true. However, seafood price in this are reasonable if you check their quality and freshness. I like their sushi grade tuna and salmon, and oysters.

I cant express what a delightful suprise and joy it was to not only track down sushi grade fish to make for my daughters prom but finding a treasure like this made my day. The quality alone of the fish was spectacular. The man who came out to answer a question cut the fish into small sushi slices for me recommended even better fish. Had sound advice and guidance for preparation. The tools i needed were there and he even told me sushi sheets to save me a trip. On the way out i purchased little chocolates that were a dream. Great prices friendly service amazing quality sushi grade fish for a little place called cheese and crackers which they have a great selection for as well.

Bought a pound of their highest sashimi grade tuna (grade 1 bluefin), paid over $40 for the privilege. Sadly it was some of the worst tuna Ive ever seen or tasted - what is that blackness?? On sushi grade tuna??? It is hard to reconcile how any boutique deli that takes their fish seriously could sell us this piece of fish with a straight face (at any price, let alone for $40+).

The products available here are of restaurant quality, and the service is knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Awesome cheese and the best sandwiches

Came in for a sandwich. One of the few places Ive been which has high quality meat, cheese, bread, and condiments all in the same place. Lots of other stuff to buy too if I werent broke due to ongoing litigation resulting from the time I drove my car through the front wall of a Panera bread.

They have the best sandwiches in town. They also have the best fresh fish selection in town. Lots of great meats and cheeses to choose from as well as locally made chocolates. Its a great little locally owned shop.

Staff is polite and helpful. Youll find delicious hot sandwiches made on order with premium ingredients and I would say not a lot more expensive than a place like Panera Bread, right across from them. They have a truly suprising inventory of delicacies, like alligator meat, crab legs, an impressive cheese and charcuterie deli window, caviar and even Patricias chcoloates (from Grand Haven, MI).Please support your local businesses. Theres not many left like this one and they deserve to live.

I love the cheese selection and have been pleased with seafood orders in the past. The people there clearly know about cheese. The olives were surprisingly good. I was disappointed that the cracker selection was so limited and didnt have anything that was gluten free for friends with allergies.

Can I tell you how much we love this place? Locally owned and carrying a variety of wares from around the world. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We like to stop by Sundays after church (they open at noon) to get some cheese or cold cuts for the week. Also, try their subs, which are a lot of food for a fair price. And the variety of sodas (or pops) in glass bottles! Also the fancy chocolates. Before you stop at Paneras or Subway for lunch, try them out. Theyre also using Ricks Bakery bead during the week and have Ricks pastries on Saturdays. Hard to lose.

Limited selection of sandwiches. Why have 10 options when four will do? Good value on large tasty sandwiches. The specialty items cost average. They would be cheaper if you go to where they are made. Just book a plane ticket.I recently was driving by and was hungry so stoped by again. They have added more sandwiches to menu and they are so good. Loved my sandwich and my husbands. I will stop by every time Im driving thru.
