Dropped off some heads for resurfacing and valve stem seals, was told next day but they got them done same day! Great customer service and did an excellent job
Brought down a set of vintage brodex small block Ford heads hand ported by Mustang Mikes, they where very careful with them while milling and installing the valve guides along with the serdi valve job they did for me.They also balanced a 393 rotator for me as well and resized my H-beams due to a change in hardware to l-19s. I checked every stich of available math on the machine work and the machining math was spot on.Do your due diligence and wash, clean and blow your parts off,for gods sake its a machine shop if you think your getting your parts back polished and in hermetically sealed in hospital bags and not cleaning them or deburring/inspecting before assembly then you are not an engine assembler.Do the math, clean everything and stop blaming the machine shops.Cba is one of the last great machine shops in the east valley. If the math still makes you uncomfortable, bring it back and those guys will make it right. They have amazing customer service and were able to help me out. I greatly appreciate them!
Great shop, been using them for years and plan to continue.
I took the aluminum heads from my 02 dodge 4.7 L V8 and they pressure tested and milled them in less than a day. They threw in a vacuum test for the valves free of charge. They were courteous and knowledgeable on the phone advising me which bolts to look out for (in terms of snapping during tear down). They have earned my business for life (at least everything I cant do myself) and the pricing was was quite reasonable.Thank you guys, see you on the next project!
Best in the business hands down.
Have used Scott and zach for the last 10 years. Business and personal. Always pleased with the outcome. Great guys to talk to about build options.
Great work and fast.

They were fast and especially on short notice! GREAT JOB GUYS!!!
I have a 77 Monte Carlo that had 66,000 miles on it. Had them rebuild the 305 small block with a roller cam and rockers. They kept in contact with me during the build and had found the pistons had rounded out on top and replaced them with new 9-3-1 pistons bored out the block 20 over and advised me to replaced the seats in the heads with harden seats which I did. Its been almost one year now and have put 16,500 miles on the block use it every day burns clean and runs perfect. Thanks and great job guys I am heading back to have them build my all Dart 425 for my custom 1980 Z28 see you guys soon.
Shop was super polite, reasonably priced and responsive. Highly recommend!

I was referred by a friend They are very knowledgeable on enginesAnd can give you advice on other parts of enginesAnd Internal and external parts
Top notch customer service and attention to detail! Scott and Zach are very knowledgeable and can help out with any engine build. They even checked back up on the engine after I had paid installed it just to make sure I didnt have any questions or issues. He assembled the short block and I did the rest. Everything was very clean and put together perfectly. Highly recommended!!
Great guys. Very helpful
Great place if you need to have some work done. Zach helped me with my wheel bearing and he did a great job. Great customer service..
These guys are great. I had to get my rotors turned & they totally took good care of me. Thanks guys!!
Awesome machine shop. The guys there are extremely knowledgeable and do very good work. Good turn around and pricing
The best in the west for sure
I had 350 sbc heads in to be rebuilt I got them back they were bad because of cracks. But I didnt get all parts back i was missing pivot ball, rocker and the nut. Its been weeks they said they would call but that has never happened. Ill be referring my friends and family to other places
Bad - stay away. Had my engine balanced here and had them do a cleanup. First off they wanted to bead blast my piston top which were low mileage forged and I didnt want to do that. They reinstalled them completely filthy. At home I pulled the Pistons and was easily able to clean them all off with brake clean. Cmon thats completely lazy.Secondly and its good I caught this. They had dropped one of my forged rods appearantly during assembly. There was a clear mushroomed spot on the rod and the bearing showed the same. If I had run it like this it would of ate the crank in a heartbeat.Attention to detail guys! I already dont trust machine shops for a reason and this is exactly why!! They dont care about your thousands of $$$ investment.
Great place! They have built several engines with no problems at all. Been doing business with them years and years. Great shop!
Had them put together a chevy 454 for me. everything seemed fine when i picked the motor up. when i finally got it installed and running i had several places where oil was leaking allot, the oil pan gasket leaked so bad we had to pull the engine back out just to fix it. the timing cover has leaked all along as well. we found out that they used yellow trim glue to install all the gaskets making it very difficult repair. after getting this engine going again after the first time we noticed it kept overheating. i thought mabey the head gasket was installed backwards or something but we we found that my new radiator was completely clogged with vat trash that left in my engine from when they vatted the block. I drove the car 100 miles or so after cleaning the vat trash out only to find out that one after another of my fuel pumps were failing we finally discovered that the fuel push rod they installed was made of pot metal and was mushroomed by the cam so bad it would no longer push the fuel pump anymore. so guess what we had to tear it down again to replace the fuel push rod. and we are still pulling chunks of vat trash out of the inside of the block. i am posting this just so others dont waste there money at this shop. dont go here i never will again.
Took my model A flywheel to have a ring gear installed, turned and balanced! Really fast turnaround very good customer service!
Great all around machine shop. People are friendly and very helpful
Did my research and went to CBA to get my BMW cylinder head inspected and reconditioned, they found some cracks so had to scrap my head but I was happy that they caught it because It would have been a bad time down the road, over all a good experience they didnt over charge for the work they did I feel, I would recommend them to anyone for good work in the future.
They did all the machine work on a BBC. Assembled it, during break-in it wiped out the #2 cam bearing(that they installed) and ultimately took out the #3 rod bearing. Took it back for them to see and they claimed theyd never seen this before. They half-way agreed to share some responsibility on the re-machining. Went to pick it up and they gouged the crap out of me!! They made a profit twice on a screw up that was pretty dang clear was their fault. Will never go back. Nice enough people but this is not the way to do business!! I should have stuck with Ray at Basko!!!
They know their stuff.
