I hadnt been to BLD in quite a while, but my friends and I decided to head there after church for lunch. Our service really left quite a bit to desire. Our server lacked enthusiasm or energy and was very average at best. The food was good overall. I had a breakfast quesadilla and enjoyed how filling it was. However, it could definitely use larger portions of the salsas it comes with.BLD has a casual atmosphere, a nice variety of food on the menu, and some fun drinks.

We stop here just about every morning that we fly into Chandler. Early flight and boom! Over to BLD. This time I had the Big Bird Bowl: egg whites, chicken, sweet potato, spinach and tomato. Don’t know that I’d necessarily choose that one again, but it’s very light and healthy, not the kind of sugar-laden breakfast that will require a subsequent 2-hour nap until the insulin kicks in, you know? Mary, our server, made this last visit worthwhile. She was on top of it! Will visit again as soon as we’re back in Chandler.

Really fun spot for a brunch, or any meal. The menu is vast with plenty options for meat eaters to vegetarians. The mimosa flights were delicious.. Melon is probably my favorite. Definitely stay for a good meal... TV was even a decent level to hold a conversation during football sunday, which I personally appreciated.

Me and 3 of my co worker came here for brunch on a Monday morning. The place wasnt that busy and we were seated immediately.. but somehow we ended up waiting 45 minutes for food while other tables seated after were getting theirs.. the food was alright but definitely not worth a 45 minute wait and having to ask why our food was taking so long. Wont be coming back nor recommend it.

My wife and I were looking forward to going to Sunday brunch as we have never been to this establishment before. We arrive and are seated in a booth of our choice. Then we noticed waiter after waiter passing by our table with zero eye contact or communication if we were being taken care of. They passed by several times in the 10 min we waiting for any type of service. Keep in mind this place was not even 25% full and it was 8:10a. So we left and will never be back.

It was terrific food. The hash and French toast. Yum! Dirty Chai latte good too

Just had brunch at BLD Chandler. The food was fantastic. When the waiter came by and asked if we wanted boxes I told him I’d prefer another stomach so I could keep eating the food. It was really amazing. Our waiter was also great. He was friendly and attentive. 5 Stars!

Not as good as I remember it from years ago. Saturday morning breakfast wasnt too busy, but my biscuits and gravy came out stone cold. Second time they were warm but bland. Husbands over easy eggs were just ok.

Super friendly folks behind the bar. Nice indoor/outdoor setting. Turkey sandwich I ate was great!

Diann was attentive and professional, the food was very good! We showed up at breakfast time Saturday morning. I had the macho man hash and wife had the monte christo. Its nice to order eggs over easy and actually get them over easy! Most restaurants cant cook an egg proper.. was a little cold in the restaurant but nothing a light jacket didnt fix. Overall great 1st time experience and we will be back!

Went with six adults and a kid. The service is great. My toddler had a good time too with a couple of toys the staff gave her. The mimosa flight was well balanced. The chicken fried steak I ordered was very crispy and went great with the gravy.

Great little place to eat. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. BLD- very clever and simple. I like that’s. The portion are large. You will not go home hungry but you may bring home a doggie bag. The food is so full of taste. I love the tacos. There were so many choices I wanted to try. I guess I will need to go back over and over again. The staff was friendly and professional. My favorite part is how fast the service is. My delicious meal came out quickly after I ordered it. I asked for napkins and I had them before I could say please. If you are in the neighbor hood, you need to stop here for a bite!

Went here after a work out with the family. I ordered the shaved prime rib and my brothers girlfriend the Gobbler omelette . We both enjoyed our meals. However, the wait staff was not as good. We had to ask several times for the items we ordered . I was missing the horseradish dip that is supposed to come with my meal .

I really wanted to try this place again to see if their service got any better, nope! The server I had was the worse. Maybe she was having a bad day but come on. She took like 15 minutes to get my iced tea and proceed to talk to other servers gossiping while she had my drink in her hand AND the straw, she put it in her mouth for a second while talking, she noticed that I saw and quickly reacted. She went to get my drink filled and proceeded to keep gossiping to another worker with my drink in her hand. But this time several people had already been talking over my drink and who knows how much spit flew in my drink. She came over and handed my drink. No apologies for taking so long. She asked if I wanted to order my food, I literally couldn’t do it! I couldn’t even drink my tea, I was disgusted. I asked for my check. Still paid without drinking my tea. What kind of company hires people who don’t enjoy their job. I get it. A lot of places are desperate finding people to just work. So sad! Never going back! Use to be a good place but it has gone down hill! Making sure my family or friends never come here and going to have them tell their people as well! DO NOT EAT HERE! The servers are gross! They don’t care!

We havent been since before the pandemic started and it used to be one of our favorites. It felt like it was under new management. The menu had changed the service want as friendly and the food quality was not the same. All 3 of us got different meals and were not impressed. Wont be going back...

This place blows Cracker Barrel out of the water. Chicken fried steak, biscuits and sausage gravy, and a small apple cinnamon pankcake...outstanding

Great food, solid bar, and nice staff. The only drawback is the parking in the plaza here can be tight, so you might have to walk a little.

Patio is an un-posted dog park. If you like large untrained pitbulls barking and begging for food, this place is for you.

Great place to take your k9 pal! seated outside on covered patio. servers are all friendly, greet the dog, asked if she needed water, even brought her a little plate of her own ( very little!)..food is terrific- great prices, huge portions! other customers had their dogs too. K9s and humans all had fun. Great to come w/o a dog as well :)

Took a long time for the server to come to us. Was very polite and pleasant once she did. Food tastes okay but is very expensive. My wife had the superfood salad which she liked. I had the brisket sandwich on rye which was so so. Am not a fan of coleslaw actually on the sandwich.

WTH happened to this place? I visited this spot about a year ago, it was good and had great service. Fast forward….I visit this spot with a friend on a Tuesday morning and ordered a simple breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The only redeeming quality of this visit was my slice of toast. Eggs and bacon were over cooked and the hash browns were under cooked. In addition, the hostess we encountered and the waitress we had were clearly uninterested in any level of customer service. The waitress even spilled my friend’s iced tea all over the table and told him “I’ll get you napkins to clean the mess.” Our intention is to never, under any circumstances, give this establishment our time or money ever again. No, thanks.Note to the owner and/or manager: Help your cook and wait staff do better, and the terribly flat and old seat cushions in your booths need to be replaced.

Blown away!! This place is an incredible place. The interior is so cool and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I was overwhelmed by the options on the menu. It took me 10 mins just figure out what I wanted. Everything seem amazing but I ended up getting what I know and normally get. Most of the meals are make by order so it s super fresh when you get it. I highly recommend this place.

The service was good but theres nothing that stands out here otherwise. The bread, burgers and brisket were all dry. And the chicken tenders were like deep-fried frozen Walmart chicken. The mixed drinks didnt even leave an impression. I wouldnt go here again, personally

This spot is interesting to say the least.Been here a few times this year and the last time I went they had added a BBQ menu and the time before that they had the sports menu, like finger foods and such. Not sure what the theme is here. 🤷‍♂️Anyway, the food is good. Been here a bunch so I’ve tried a bunch of things. I would recommend any of the hashes or the Cali Benedict. They really do have a nice selection here. I think the only time I got something weird was the Monte Cristo, so I wouldn’t recommend that. The ham was too thick on it or something so it ended up being too much of a meat sandwich not a delicate and delectable treat. They have a great selection of beers here too, which I know is important for some people. 😉🍻Anyway...6/10Would recommend for breakfast but the extended menu, enjoy at your own risk.

Food was okay for myself but went with a friend that has a gluten allergy and once we discovered that the meal was not gluten free we brought it to the waiter’s attention and she did not care. 2 managers came over said “it shouldn’t have happened” and one laughed it off. no discount or compensation was even offered. disappointed in service overall and just complete lack of respect for my friend’s allergy. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. Won’t be back.

First time eating here. Definitely coming back. I had the Macho Man Hash, highly recommend! Everything we had was amazing including the Bloody Marys. You wont go wrong here with a great breakfast and lunch or drinks.

Went here a while back for breakfast and didnt have the best overall experience. They say they have gluten free items, but when youre there it seems like no one is very clear on what is or isnt gluten free. Even the basic items seem to confuse the staff. The item I did order, for all of its delicious sounding ingredients, lacked a lot of taste. Plus, customer service wasnt the greatest the day I was there, in general.

We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Micah was an attentive server and provided meal recommendations. The menu is extensive, similar to Chompies. The braised short-rib breakfast burrito was good. The salsa’s were not as spicy as I am accustomed to. However, there is a barista bar that provides specialty coffee drinks. Also, this location would be perfect for Sunday fundays as they serve mimosas and bloody marys.

I used to go here often, because they had good food and good service. Apparently, their previous owner passed away. Since then, the quality of both their service and food has declined. I asked for a well done burger, but it was not even close to well done. They also appear to be enforcing policies based on gender. They have a sign posted, asking for everyone to wear masks. Only one male bus boy was wearing his mask properly. The rest of the male staff was either wearing their masks on their chins, not even covering their mouths, or not wearing masks at all. All the female staff were properly wearing masks, though.

New fav breakfast place! Super comfy elevated booths, great menu for meat eaters and vegetarians, open door patio and breezy indoor/outdoor bar, Monique our server was the BEST. Kid friendly too, a win all around

The main draw is the dog friendly patio. They provide a fresh water bowl and treats! The menu is also great for kids. Food is delicious, service attentive, and a nice place to unwind.

Quaint and friendly place, love the variety of food! Got the BBQ chicken which was a little dry, but it was great because it came with a tray of different sauces, so I was able to find the right one/mix. Service was friendly but not the fastest, would still go again though. Great replacement if youre used to Dennys.

My wife didnt care for the dry, gritty-textured cheese used for the Mac & Cheese. Nor did she care for her brisket sandwich. I had a bunch of side dishes, which while good were too expensive. $30.00 for a light lunch for two is too much. Its not sustainable on a day to day basis, which is probably why we only go to BLD about once a year. But hey, if youve got money to burn the service & staff are great.

Great place to eat and socialize. Breakfast was delicious and Staff is super friendly, manager (Air force Vet) is just as friendly, it’s a plus to know that they have fellow veterans working in there.

Great again! Our table had the plate of chicken wings (very meaty & great flavor, had to take part of them home), the cheeseburger plate (bigger than person could eat alone), and the Simple breakfast (eggs scrambled perfect, wonderful sausage, best hash brown potatoes ever, and sourdough toast).Weve always had very good service, but, Justin was Fantastic. We will definitely return to BLD soon.

This place used to exceed my expectations, but after bribing my family to this restaurant and watching both of the bartenders on staff use improper hygiene while making beverages (ie, wiping their faces, NOT washing their hands and proceeding to touch glassware and alcohol bottle tops, etc), and watching the majority of the staff using their face masks as chin straps and/or neck scarves was highly disappointing. Regardless of what the governor says it was extremely disappointing watching this staff have such disregard for customers and their fellow co workers. Will not be back. Food was sub par compared to previous experiences, always took forever anyway.

Ok food and ok service. Coffee was consistently cooler than youd expect. Love the open area of the community table but I expect more in a cafe serving breakfast.

Can you say MASSIVE MENU!! If you cant find something to eat at Breakfast Lunch Dinner then you must be from another planet. The options are endless and the food is great. The waiter we had was so-so, however the hostess was a GEM. My kids and I really enjoyed our meal. I will definitely be back.

Love this place! Big bar and patio with a cafe coffee bar. I would totally recommend their green chili pork! Lunch has great options as well.

Our go to breakfast joint! They do way more than just breakfast, but breakfast is just way to good! They serve Big Blue Van, a beer from a brewery in Lake Havaus. It is a really nice blueberry Hefeweizen that is a must try. But, what BLD does that takes this beer way above the rest is they put fresh blueberry in the beer. Next Level for breakfast, who needs yogert, yes please!!!

My husband and I tried BLD for the first time and we loved it! The food was AMAZING and our server, Patricia, was very personable and treated us as if we were guests in her home. She gave us suggestions on what to try and we had a very wonderful conversation with her! Cant wait to go back for more! You are missing out if you dont give this place a try! Service is always timely even when they have a full house. The service was very helpful and welcoming. It has a great feel to it.

I have carried out of this restaurant twice now i have an onion allergy and I have not been disappointed when I ask for no onions they actually pay attention to the order! The food is great and the atmosphere seems inviting. I hope to dine in here after the pandemic chills out.

I ordered the California Benedict and a side of salmon to go. It was prepared quickly and tasted amazing. I would have taken a photo but the second I opened the box it smelled so fantastic I just devoured it all. They also take great care with social distancing and sanitary practices. I cant wait to go back!

The food here is awesome. We had a large party work brunch here, and it was amazing. I have not visited for happy hour, but the bar area looked respectable as well. Great service and prices. Will be back for a smaller party visit in the near future.
