Just moved in the area all things good until I got to the cocina/kitchen cashier rude as can be. A man was hanging his arms over the glass barrier where the food is and nobody saying anything. No come back again, no thank you all just thrown out the window.

The meat is always a good deal, and I love those family packs, but the shoppers and a few of the employees give Whites dirty looks. Like we are not allowed to shop there. And yes I will continue to shop there regardless of the dirty looks.

Food City in Chandler is my favorite place to go when I am searching for Mexican beer, fruits and vegetables and groceries. The offered products have the best selection and prices. The service is friendly and helpful and the parking lot is huge. Areas for improvement: Bakery and food court. Not bad at all, but a little better at the competition across the street.

There s a summertime when your daily grocery store has been running low on new produce. O city food still has what I am looking for. So if you cant find it, dont look further from Food City ...

Excellent fresh fruit and veggies. Clean and smells great. Store is always well stocked and turn over is fast so food is fresh. Great mexican food deli on the side and cut meats always looks good.

This place was actually decent. It wasnt the cleanest grocery store I have ever been to. The fruit and vegetables were good quality and they had a lot of good deals. I will definitely return.

Redecorated nicely in produce dept. Shorter lines at checkout. Nice fresh meat & produce. One of my favorite stores.

Store is very clean and stocked. Wouldn’t recommend eating their though because the workers there are very ignorant to the customers. They don’t get orders right. Last weekend I went and the chicken wasn’t well cooked from inside. All though some food is good but like I said sometimes it’s not a very wise choice to go their.

The store is well stocked. I went here looking for a particular item. I have been looking for whole catfish all over Arizona. Guess what? Food City has them. Theyre frozen but they have them. Im happy. 😊

Im so disappointed . I ordered a tres leches cake here also I paid extra with extra moist was so embarrassing because was so dry and crumble and barely moist..so awful. Totally disappointed.

Never enough registers open and the meat department is the worst. Not because of the meat but because of the poor organization they have for people to know when they are up next they always have people waiting around and nobody ever knows who’s next it’s horrible.

I picked up a few cakes here... theyre good, help me in a bind (birthdays) last minute but never disappoint. Also on some days ( they have tripas) I like the way the cook em, I normally go to their kitchen or bakery and the food is good. When shopping here. .and ppl are nice and helpful. Ive sometimes thought some items are over priced but thats in the grocery store itself cakes and cooked meals are all decently or appropriately priced, they could do better in cleanliness or a remodel... its getting dingy, come on guys Chandlers starting to perk up if you slack on this other places will get all your clients. Id shop here more if I felt better about the cleanliness.

This is one of the bigger Food City stores that I have seen. It feels bigger than the one I have been to in Scottsdale as well. There was a lot of selection of goods and foods and snacks. Nom nom! Loved the candy selection and the spicy candies are just so god.The store was clean and didnt seem too busy when I went.Aisles were wide and everything was pretty easy to find. Checkout was speedy too.

Surprisingly really clean. During the holidays, I know its tuff to keep clean, and most times during the holidays its not too clean. But I was surprisingly comfortable shopping there again. Awesome!!

I can see customer service getting friendlier . Everyday but sat typically seems one register open and customer service is always closed sadly .:( They move isles a lot and same products are priced differently on isles from main product isle makes it confusing for all on a final price. Needs improvement will take time. Also no filet mignon :( meat girl said they just dont sale that cut of steak:( . Manager specials on meat when you can find them arent bad but you definitely have to cook eat within 24 hours before goes brown n old thats why its cheap. Id like to become a regular shopper . Hope things get better customer service and organizing getting prices correct . Thank you . I know this whole neighborhood is rough but food city Bashaw has been in my family for over 40 yrs Culver Family . Would be nice to see old school customer service :)

There are other Latin product grocery stores in the valley, and Food City is my favorite. I like them all but I keep coming back to Food City. Good selection and prices. Great specials.

Hello I was in there the other day in the afternoon I was paying on the pay it yourself there was a rude employee grab my items from my hand and scan my item he always gets me a hard time when I pay there can you talk with him

The store is kept clean. The staff is somewhat friendly. My main concern when I shop there is that I know that I will spend too much time in line to check out. They NEVER have enough registers open. This has always been like that,way before COVID-19 hit.

Most staff are friendly. It does take a very long time to check out most of the time as most registers are close and store does have a lot of customers. Plus most cashiers are always distracted talking to other employees about their own personal lives.

The hot chorizo and the produce are the best!

Food city in.my opinion has better prices than Walmart hands down and their fruits and veggies are fresh so you dont have to worry about anything going bad. Food City is a different breed than other stores no cap.

WORST store! Cristina our cashier was the absolute worst! No eye contact, didnt say a single word during our entire transaction. I mean NOT one word 😳 According to her name tag shes been providing less than mediocre service since 2008. Very disappointed to say the least.

They have a cash check service but dont have staffing for it. They sell lottery tickets but cant cash them due to no staffing. If you need customer service there is noone either. They say come back tomorrow and there is no one tomorrow either. Seven days the customer service window was closed. You stand there for 20 mins before someone says its closed. Friday evenings two registers open 12 people on each line. Feel so bad for the two cashiers.

Authentic Mexican food ingredients are so easy to find. Clean store, fully stocked.

Its a pretty decent store. The meat is Very cheap here, which helps me save a lot. When I buy meat, I stop here first. They also have some pretty good deals with fruit and vegetables. I dont really buy anything else, but I enjoy shopping here. It is usually busy though, so keep that in mind.

If youre looking for a good Mexican grocery store then Food City is probably what youre looking for. Its one of the most convenient Mexican grocery stores in the valley in my opinion. The one on AZ Ave and Ray is clean and well organized with a wide variety of produce, bakery goods, deli, etc. Always a fun store to explore and try new things!

Food City is a great grocery store. I am happy with all the authentic latino foods they have here. Each year the Tamales are excellent! The store itself has wide isles and a fantastic produce department. The restaurant is absolutely terrific!

Food City has a small restaurant and take outof Mexican food. The menu is extensive and very good and the price is fair. I Recommend it.. weekends are busy, but dont let that stop you from going there.. enjoy !

We love this store. Most of the time we can find all that we need and they have really good specials meat. They have a pretty good bakery selection, with some good bread and cookies, also the flour and corn tortillas are really good, very fresh. Their food court or little restaurant that’s inside, OMG 👏🏻 loved the Sonoran style hot dogs, so delicious. Also the tortas, carne asada and pastor, were so good and big enough.

Good store to buy Mexican candy and food. I also like their hot deli section. On easy dinner nights I grab their baked chicken and pork, Spanish rice, and tortilla and pico from the store to make tacos and call it a night. I also found personal size mama Mia pizzas I the freezer. This is the only place I found it. Its cheap but hey I used to eat this when I was in Cali and it reminds me of home.

Always have great prices on their fruits and vegetables. Certain days of week they also have a good deal on select meats. You can also get fresh tortillas and other Hispanic bakery goods.
