Over the past 18 months, Ive been going to GT Peace Automotive for all general maintenance and service required on my BMW X3. The team at GT Peace does an excellent job of providing prompt service on time/as scheduled, communicating with me regarding any recommended repairs/services, and never makes me feel like theyre overcharging me for their services. I highly recommend considering GT Peace if youre seeking an automotive service/repair shop for your vehicle.

This is the only garage I will use for my cars here in VA… I dont care if I have to drive an hour to get there. This is the only shop Ive been to in Virginia that took pride in their work. You dont find a shop like this every day, and they are worth waiting for.I have a 2017 Tacoma that I baby. From start to finish GT Peace treated it like it was their own. They installed new suspension, brakes bumpers, lights, pedal commander, and a winch. GT Peace really did a fantastic job with the install and even gave me recommendations on tires. While these tires were not my first choice. I have since become a HUGE fan and will probably stick with this make. These guys know what they are doing. The wiring is clean, and placed for easy maintenance. As an engineer I really appreciate their attention to detail. They even provided a loaner car! This is the type of shop your parents or grandparents grew up with, where the team is honest, and makes sure your taken care of like family. Seriously, they took the time to know me, then adjusted the build accordingly. That kind of personalization and attention to detail is first class treatment. It has earned them a tremendous amount of respect and loyalty from me. They will be seeing my Tacoma and any other car I own for as long as I am in the state.

Took my 2004 4Runner to GTPeace for a headgasket job and their service far exceeded my expectations.They kept in touch every step of the way - when the machine shop was backed up, they let me know. They asked me how I wanted to proceed when they found additional parts that might need to be replaced, and didnt pressure me to do them if I decided I didnt want to. When I asked to see a part (oil pump) that was worn, they ended up giving me a box full of everything they pulled off - so that I could rest assured the work they advised was needed.Everything that they did, they did well. My 4Runner is running smoother than ever at 200k miles, and, thanks to them, should be solid for many more.

Best BMW mechanic in the DC/MD/VA area. Ive used three different BMW dealerships and two independent mechanics and this is the best shop available. They have a BMW master mechanic thats incredibly knowledgeable across all the models to include M cars. Fair pricing and great customer service.

GT Peace was recommended to me by another local shop that didnt have all the capabilities of GT Peace. They did great work at an affordable price in a reasonable amount of time.However, I did not fully appreciate them until I took one of my BMWs to a chain auto place for a basic safety inspection. I figured a safety inspection is super basic and couldnt be messed up. I was wrong, they failed it, quoted me over $4k for the repair, and when I said thanks but no thanks, they left my car in the parking lot with the trunk open.I ended up taking my car to GT Peace because if there was something truly wrong with my car I would want BMW specialists to work on it. There was nothing wrong with my car in the end. A few years later when I needed to do some maintenance part replacement I knew I would be taking to to GT Peace, but called around just to get pricing quotes from a few places and GT Peace came in at a quarter of the price with most the other places.Lessons learned, even the basic stuff should go to a trusted shop like GT Peace along with everything else. And while they are reasonably priced they might not always be the cheapest but if you care about your vehicle its worth it for the peace of mind of knowing BMW enthusiasts and specialist will always take proper care of it.

This is one garage I will return to without hesitation even though it is a 45 to an hour ride away. I have spend enough money on after-market parts on my Q50s including rotors from several different manufactures. At the end Freddy provided some much needed info pertaining to the pads which no one has ever done even being a repeat customer, this matters, stuff is expensive. The waiting area is nice, different seats and a couch with a large screen TV. I look forward to returning to GT Peace, highly recommended.

The team and level of service at GT Peace are awesome. The technician did an excellent job of finding and fixing a difficult to diagnose problem with my AC. It now works better than it has in years and the price was very reasonable for the high quality work performed. The folks in the office are very knowledgeable, super nice and great to work with. GT Peace is my new go to shop and I highly recommend them.

The staff here are exceptional to say the least. I have an 06 E60 M5 (V10) that I had GT Peace do a ton of preventative maintenance on including rod bearings, SMG clutch, Vanos solenoids and that wasnt even the half of it. I really went all in on addressing any potential issues with the car and had them take care of it before it happened. Shawn was my main contact and the level of communication and customer service was amazing. I called him several time throughout the process and he made himself available every time. Derren the Technician that worked on my car was thorough, precise, paid attention to detail and very professional, Id be happy to have him work on my car anytime. He really knows his stuff when it comes to these over engineered BMW engines, great Technician. Being a guy that does 95% of the work on my cars, handing the keys over to shop that I dont have a history with was really nerve-wracking but Gt Peace knocked out of the park. First Impression is the Forever Impression!!This repair service shop is tucked in the back of Chantilly Auto Mall area in Chantilly. I walked in the shop and was very impressed with their operation.Staff was very kind and nice and service area was very clean and tidy.I have an issue with noise coming from my beloved 2010 Tacoma wheels. I think it is from a wheel bearing.Because of their professionalism toward a bunch of customers to get in line to be serviced, they are backed up with schedule for two weeks.It feels like waiting in long line to get into one of those most fancy and reputable restaurants to eat my favorite food.In order to get the best service for my Tacoma which it deserves, I am willing to wait for a while. I would like to get it fixed in a correct way rather than having to come back and forth several times to get it fixed correctly. I have done that before, but it is no fun at all.I also checked the pricing with Toyota dealer across the street and other service shops nearby, this shop offers the best price. It feels like getting the best food in the area at a discount price.WHAT MORE DO YOU ASK FOR??

Exceptional. Galen and his team take an interest beyond what Ive noticed from other reputable high rated shops in the DMV area. He took the time to listen and hear me out and to find those pesky problems that dont occur when I bring my car to the shop. Attention to detail, integrity, expertise are consistently second to none. Its very apparent everyone here is interested in their job and also has a passion for it. Prices are a bit higher than other independent shops but Ive saved more than enough in not being lied to or an unnecessary repair being done. They are modification friendly, Im a bit of a car nerd and found the advise on mods and tunes to be right on the spot. Dont think I would have kept my E92 BMW 335i if it wasnt for GT Peace.

Came here a few months back to get a few bolt on parts installed for my Kia Stinger GT and they did a quality job. Many other shops were super hesitant to work on Stingers for some reason, but these guys of course know what theyre doing. I had them do a general inspection over the vehicle, just to be preventative. Since the car is relatively new they didnt feel the need to charge me for the inspection as there wasnt anything wrong. I really appreciated that so I went with them to install all my mods. Everything was fit by the books and done extremely quick. Also, I love that the shop its run by fellow car enthusiasts that are confident in what they do. I now always recommend all my friends with performance cars to come here.

The short answer is that if you are looking for a great, professional team to provide high quality care for your vehicle, GT Peace is a place you want to go. Would I recommend them to friends and family? Would I bring the car back? Am I completely satisfied? The answer to all is “without question.”I took my E46 M3 to them on short notice (due to incoming snow) and they allowed me to drop my car off in advance. I had them take care of much needed maintenance (valve adjustment and driveshaft related items). While they were at it, they also checked my VANOS for issues and checked the car for anything else I may need to address.While checking my car, the GT Peace Team also noticed that the alignment was extremely off. They took specifications of before and after to show me why it definitely needed to be done, and I’m glad for it. While the work is obviously to help the car perform better, I also took this as them worrying about my safety, which is arguably more important.Please note that my car is not on a stock setup, it is meant to be on weekend track duty. I am also happy to say that the engine seems to be responding stronger, the car now handles much more predictably, and I am more confident while driving.Thanks again!

Whenever I had questions, the front desk was able to walk me through car basics, how my car was running, and what needed to be repaired. Work well done! Porsche service is never cheap but these are are good of a reasonable cost. Plus the seem to understand performance cars and those who drive them.

My car was stalling on idle and they helped me out same day. The waiting area was nice and they were playing Top Gear which helped to pass the time. The wait was a bit long but they were able to fit me in after work same-day so I didnt mind too much. My car issue was fixed and I was quoted for a replacement gasket, but since it wasnt necessary, they didnt try to pressure me into getting it. Ive only been once, but based on my experience Id recommend it.

These guys know what they are doing. Took my 911 here for some suspension issues. Galan had it dialed-in and charged me a reasonable rate for the work. Won’t hesitate to take my car here again. Can’t thank them enough. Unlike many places, they actually listen to their customers.

My E46 M3 SMG was having a lot of issues with the SMG pump. Having searched online for BMW specialists that could carry out a manual conversion I was referred to GT Peace. They gave me a breakdown of costs and timeline so I had my car towed out there for the conversion. This is a massive job that requires the bell housing to be machined out by a specialist so my bell housing was shipped to Lang Racing in CA. This took longer than expected due to shipping being slower during the pandemic but Freddie stayed in touch with me and ensured I was kept up to date. I picked my car up last week and it looks like it rolled out of the factory as a manual. Their workmanship was exceptional, the car is great to drive. 10/10 for customer service too.

I recently purchased a used 4Runner and we are new to the area. We received MANY recommendations to use GT Peace Automotive to run through and to a new-purchase inspection as well as an oil change. I previously have had poor experiences with mechanics, even highly recommended ones, trying to up-sell, or noting problems with devices that were nowhere near needing maintenance, always spending much more than anticipated. That was not the case with GT Peace... I was shocked at how incredible the associate was who helped me. He not only was extremely honest, but when I mentioned my car warranty, he took information and submitted everything (and MUCH more) to get everything possible out of it. He did all of the work as I took advantage of the free wifi, comfy waiting area, and free beverages.He initially recommended one repair/replacement and after speaking with the warranty company, got a number or fixes covered. It was incredibly timely, and all completed within a few hours- including getting parts ordered and rush delivered.He also set up an appointment for the week that my warranty expires and suggested they do a complete run-through of it to make sure the truck is completely fine-tuned.I truly am shocked at the extreme customer care that was provided and I will recommend GT Peace Automotive to ANYONE!

Galen and the crew at GT Peace have always been very attentive, and knowledgeable. If your a car enthusiast like me you want to know your car is being taken care of and the work is top notch, GT Peace has done that for me.I brought my car in for diagnosis and GT Peace confirmed my worse fears, a blown turbo. I have a 2016 S6, Freddy and Galen were super helpful in helping me find a solution that fit my needs. First I was going to just replace the turbos with some hybrids, then Galen said he would do some research first himself to ensure this was the proper path. I thought about it long and hard, then decided go all OEM but upgrade turbos. So I called back and spoke with Freddy and said, never mind on the hybrids, I want to go Full STG3, RS7 turbos, cooler, RS7 intake, downpipes, air suspension controller, and have a few TSBs Audi has out. I complied a build list of what I would order and sent it over. What started out as a simple turbo replacement, turned into a major project. Matt their Audi Mech was tasked to do the work on my car. I asked Freddy if GT Peace could take photos of the whole process start to finish and he said thats not a problem.As parts started to trickle in, the tear down begin. When I would drop parts off to Matt would ask questions and even showed me his progress and we chatted about a few things. Just talking to Matt and having him show me what he was doing, I could see the passion he had for the project, he even pointed out things he felt should be replaced now or replaced at a later time. Fast forward to the day I went to pick my car, the work looked very professional. to the blind eye, the car looked stock as it should using OEM Audi parts. Everything was in working order and Matt did a full run down on the car and showed me everything. I couldnt wait to drive it. As I packed the car up with my old parts Matt thanked me for giving GT Peace and him the opportunity to do such a big project. Im glad I have found a shop local to me that does such great work, everyone is humble, and loves to talk cars. After I left I traveled south to get my tunes loaded for the new turbos. All I can say is I never stop smiling. I recently moved to the area, and my check engine light came on. I have a Jeep Patriot 2015 that has been pretty low maintenance so far. I called and spoke with Shawn who was very good at explaining how they work and setting up an appointment. He was always came through happy to explain the details (I like understanding what is going on), not just on the repairs but on what it would cost. Besides the issue with the engine light (electronic throttle body) I already knew I had some repairs pending, but I hadnt mentioned those. When Shawn called to give the diagnosis he had found the throttle problem and also mentioned the other things I already knew about. He never pressured me to get the optional repairs. I really appreciated the professionalism, the promptness is getting everything done and getting back to me with details, and the price was fair (at least I compared their estimate to my old mechanic from before I moved to the area). All in all I would gladly recommend them!

Took my M3 here, drove an hour from Maryland. Did rear brake pad change, rear brake sensor, brake fluid flush and an Alignment. Car feels so much better now. Great price too!They were welcoming, gave me a tour of the shop.P.S. They have couple of very very comfortable couches. I can sit on it for as long as I want! lol

I have brought my SUV in initially to achieve better stopping power. The Service was great, and the result even better. All for about the same as the dealer would have charged. I then took my hybrid in for a tire balance issue, and then again for brakes. All great experiences and very reasonable costs. I plan to use them again

I had been taking my 2015 Audi Q5 TDI to the Audi dealer since new (coming on 6 years). The service has been fine, but now that I am out of warranty, I wanted to find a local Indy shop for non-extended warranty service. When my car was in for its 55K service at Audi, they noted several things that should be replaced, shocksGT Peace replaced my rear shocks, performed a coolant flush and a rear differential service.Most recently (5/2021), had my battery replaced after the original died after 6 years. I called, spoke to Freddy, explained the situation. Got my Audi jump-started, drove over, about 30-minutes, waited while the work was performed, 1hour later, on my way back home. Saved several hundred dollars by using GT Peace.The work performed was perfect and had the pleasure of dealing with a staff of young professionals, dedicated to quality auto care.Highly recommended.

Was recommended to this place by one of the Facebook groups that I am in. Reached out to them to see if they would honor a sale of a package for a suspension lift that they had going on at the beginning of the summer. They said they would honor it but wasn’t sure if the parts could be obtained due to the high demand. They responded promptly with the parts availability and told me they would contact me once the parts came in. They then contacted me to schedule an appointment once they had the parts. I left my car there the night before using their night drop off box. My car was done the next day and I have zero complaints. Great shop and very professional. Would come back!

The guys here are not only car enthusiasts who can recommend what’s best for your car, but are extremely honest people as well. I received a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, wind shield wiper replacement, brand new rotors, brand new drive belt all for $900 vs. $2k+ at BMW dealership with the same quality of parts and service in parity. A+ for these guys and I look forward to continuing service with them in the future for my 2015 328i.

By far the best experience Ive had with an automotive shop! I took my BMW in for an alignment and some warranty work. Although the warranty company was difficult to work with, Galen went above and beyond to make sure the work was done right and according to the same standard hed want his own car to be handled. Even more surprising, a week after picking up the car, Galen personally reached out to make sure everything was done right and the car was running smoothly. I cant recommend GT Peace enough and will definitely be taking my car there for any future work!

I had taken my Mini Cooper to the track. Afterwards I needed significant work and explore options for street/track related to brake pads, rotors, fluid, lines, etc. Galen at GT Peace was SO informative on options, recommendations, his research, and follow through. He guided me through step by step, and was never trying to upsell; rather just informative and provided his thoughts. Great communication. I will be taking my MINI (PLUS my Audi TT) there for all routine service, any issues, as well as performance/track upgrades. GT Peace is BY FAR the best car service shop I have ever come across. Ive been going here for the last 3 years. The guys are knowledgeable and personable and I believe the prices are fair. I became a loyal customer when they were able to identify and fix an issue another shop recommended I visit a dealership for. I highly recommend to anyone driving a foreign car, especially BMWs.

This is the best place to take your car in the area. Ive been gouged by the dealer of my car before. Was told I needed shocks and struts by another garage. Which I didnt need. But GT Peace is different. They actually care about you and your car. They arent looking to sell you on something you dont need. They will recommend what you might need, to give you a heads up for a future time. As long as they are around, I will be a customer.

Galen, Freddy, and Shawn and the entire team are great. My previous mechanic retired a few years ago and i tried a few others and always had issues. Finally i found gtpeace. They have worked on my familys daily drivers (jeep, bmw, and vw) and also my race car (bmw). These guys price fair and I trust them . they figured out issues previous mechanics claim they fixed and then didnt and then I would have to bring the car back in. Gtpeace has a nice waiting area, they are very professional and they fix the cars on time and right the first time. The wealth of knowledge the team has I trust them way more than the dealership. Unfortunately Im relocating and i have no idea how Im going to find a shop that will be as good as gtpeace. 100% would recommend.

NICEST place Ive been to for having my car services in 3 years! More than fair pricing, quality work. I was referred to these guys and I will certainly reciprocate the referral to anyone who needs service on their German made cars. Entire staff is very friendly and treats customers like human beings, not like an open wallet (as the local BMW dealer does). I live in WV, but its certainly worth the drive to Chantilly to have these guys work on my car. Will see them again!

I have an F80 M3 and took it to GT to have that crankcase hub pinned before it had a chance to become a problem. While the techs were in there I also had a new set of turbos installed to warrant the extra safety net of a pinned hub.Freddy had me all set up with a loaner the minute I arrived to drop off my car and kept me updated with the installation process on almost daily updates. Im a very happy customer with the level of care and detail they gave my ride and their professional customer service. They even put me in contact with a tuner so I can get the most power out of my bolt-ons and the total package has completely transformed my ride. 12/10, would highly recommend them.

I highly recommend GT Peace Automotive. They mounted, balanced and aligned tires on a Maserati Quattroporte, and even re-torqued at 100 miles for free. The front office and mechanics alike are professional, courteous, and super easy to work with! I highly recommend and will be coming back!

If you drive a BMW, this is the place to go. One major thing that I look for in a shop is customer service and I feel like GT Peace Auto nails it. The friendliness and professionalism has been great every time I went there, plus their shop is really clean. They cater from the regular driver to the enthusiasts which is fantastic and they’re knowledgeable enthusiasts themselves. So they know how to get the best out of your car.
